I am trying to replace the RAM in my (headless, no display) server, but I've tried two different types of sticks and it never boots with them.
It is currently booted with two F4-3200C16-16GVK sticks from G Skill, but those are from my desktop and I would love to have them back :P
Today I installed two 16GB 2Rx8 PC4-2400T-RE1-11 sticks from SK hynix to replace the G Skill ones, but the server fans spin yet I get no ssh access (presumably not booted).

5600x with stock cooler isn't ideal but it can work if you really can't get a cooler, it'll get hot, loud, and throttle a bit, but as long as you're comfortable with that, it's doable.
