Well anyway, so yk how stock cpu coolers have pre applied thermal paste, I bought all my stuff about a month and a half ago, my cpu came first, is it possible for thermal paste to essentially dry up?

Like my motherboard comes today and my case comes on thursday/friday

Yes it could dry up.. if left exposed to air for an extended period of time. However I doubt the paste is dried up. Those parts sit on shelves for months before they even get to you. They don't open the package and apply the paste and reseal the package just before they send it to you.
