So I finally got my pc into the case
That plastic piece makes the light so weird
Replacing this older monitor with a 144Hz 27" soon when it arrives.
Shame the tempered glass is so dark
My current setup
Just finished installing after-market 120mm dust filters and fans to my new case :)
https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/375445211280572437/653016528568188940/decbuild.jpg?width=888&height=500 waiting on a nvme heatsink then I can finish this thing
Is this good it’s not my pc it’s my friends
So i could definitely use a better cooler. I just used the regular cooler that came with my AMD Ryzen 7 2700x. I need to upgrade the ram again because i was unaware that my ryzen processor could benefit from faster 3200 ram. And the case i think is an old pre built computer case that someone resold. But all in all.I upgraded from an old computer that was prebuilt with alot of really cheap parts. Such as an amd fx 8320 lol.
The graphics card is an asus gtx 1070 strix overclocked edition.
Can you rate this it’s my first pc build
Looks ebico
Here’s my 3 years old custom
i5-7600k 4.95ghz
16gb 3200mhz TridentZ rgb
Didn’t fit
with the fans
:D
and uh a 1060 6gb overclocked to 2.2ghz
h100iv2 rad
Strix z270f mobo
and dats it
phanteks 400s case
I’d like to upgrade but don’t got money
Ryzen 5 3600X, Gigabyte x570 Elite WiFi, 16GB PC3600 RAM, Intel 660p 1TB nvme, Sapphire Nitro+ rx5700 XT, Thermaltake 750W Bronze power Supply, NZXT 510 case. Built with help from my 5 year old 😉
My setup
Also HyperX Stinger headphones but I was kind of wearing those
Running:
MB: Intel
CPU: Intel i5-4300M
GPU: Intel HD 4600
RAM: Hynix 8GB DDR3L-1600MHz
Getting:
MB: ASRock H21
CPU: Intel i5-4590
GPU: XFX Radeon 570 4GB (Have)
RAM: 8GB
My setup
I need to upgrade, but lack the dollars
Running:
CPU: Intel i5-3570 @3.40GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
RAM: 12 GB DDR3
PSU: 250W Dell PSU
I don't have a guts shot, but
I7 7700K
GTX 1070
16 GB 2400 DDR4 RAM
256GB SSD
3TB HDD 7200 RPM
750W PSU
I should have waited for amd 😦
I’m getting an nzxt kraken to replace the cpu cooler
How many people in the H440 gang here
(Old photo of build btw, a few upgrades since)
Reminds me of my setup before I had a tower
I also have one of those when I was younger (That's actually my son)
Several years later
From inside
That bottom gpu is not in there anymore
But... My screen...
Hp 1740
She ain’t pretty but I put a tank on it to call it a battle station.
The daily simplest setup youll ever see lol
How is this looking?
You guys think the rad up top would be too much, as far as looks go for this H500P?
Going to see if I can cram another in the front and swap out the slims, at least one of them
It fit perfectly, that plexi/acrylic pops out easily, and fit like a glove around that rad.
added phanteks vertical gpu mount finally.
not sure if a ras-pi counts as a "build" but here's an aesthetically pleasing picture of my pi-based mobile desktop that i built with legos
completed this today, itll be better once i get the water cooler mount and can use that
and here's a clearer pic of said pi build
Its on the wall 👌
my old beast
looks like a mess
but works like a charm xD
Specs:
Cpu: core 2 quad q6600
Mobo: asus p5qpro
Ram: (i think kingston) 8gig ddr2 @667MHz
Gpu: MSI gtx660 gaming
rated dangerous.
its my real build. Tho I fixed the graphics card on mouse pad problem.
and added one more psu to power some extra fans.
and this is the newest pictures
10/10 @inland bobcat
Fire the man who did this at cyberpower.
External drives are my doing. They blocked vents on top of the computer
Ryzen 3600 and 2070 build going for Tokyo ghoul theme wall art and figures coming soon
ssd is custom skinned using black electric tape and a sticker I had laying around lmao
plan to get a shelf for the pc so I can make the speakers more symmetrical and on the edge of the desk and possible getting an AIO just for looks with some better fans
Just got it going today, liquid cooled cpu and i9-9900k and 2080 super
Bamboo plant. It gives me 300fps
my new new
My current build until my new build arrives at the end of the month.
WOW, now that's a workstation @latent frigate Can't wait to show that off on the show.
ASUS prebuilt
This is my custom built system, most of the stuff in it is old, I got the 1060 from one of my old desktops and the power supply is new. I ordered a b450 f strix motherboard and vengeance ram for it and a new cpu
Right now the cpu is a amd fx8150 but I’m getting Ryzen 7 2700 and a rtx 2070
Also it has rgb Corsair fans but recently this went through traumatic experiences and the unit that the fans connect to for rgb got fried
So I need another one of those too
Finally happy with the tubing and lighting. Took a bit of playing with it. I have the pass-throughs as it was just the gpu cooled at one point. Before the aqua was in. Once it was added tubes were just looking cluttered. Move some stuff and I like it!
Started this build a year ago. Finally put in a 3900x. My first time with a custom loop so its not the cleanest look.
Only have to do cable management
Still need to re-do cable management on the back
This is my friends Build
I’m working on my cable management some need to measure some more but I giess this will do for now
Was a mess
Hmm wonder how it holds up maybe I can give it a whirl this weekend. 🤔 😱 🤪 https://builds.gg/builds/edge-22662
if y'all want some real cringebait, here's my athlon-based scrap build that's literally just a bunch of crap taped and tied onto what was once a micro atx case 🤣
Reason: Bad word usage
Lego Pi is now more solid and more portable
Either way here’s the back.
Can I just keep posting build nudes then?
But yeah it's starting to show it's age. It's a Cooler Master Cosmos II Case, with an MSI X79A-GD45 Board, i7-3930k OC to 4.8 Ghz, air cooled with that Zalman CNPS12x, 4x8gb Corsair Vengeance, 1250 XFX Pro 80+ Gold psu, EVGA 1660ti SC Gaming, and a GTX 680 FTW 4GB. I mainly use it for video editing and some gaming. Its got a few SSDs for OS and fast storage, and then I run some seagate nas drives in the hot swap bays for long term footage storage. I recently swapped out the cooler master sickle flow fans for some Fractal Venturi HF fans. So for cooling it has the stock 200mm fan up front, 140mm Venturi exhast on the rear and top rear, then 120mm corsair air as a top and side intake. I reckon sometime in the next year or two I'll pull the board out and drop in some type of X570 set up.
Specs
Core i5 750 GPU:
Geforce GTX 670 (superclocked?)
MoBo: P7P55D-e Pro
RAM: G.skill ripjaws I think it's 12 GBs something
SSD: Samsung 860 QVO 1TB
Psu: reading from amazon:Thermaltake
smart 700w 80+ white certified PSU
Case: I think 275 airflow
This was my build about 2 years ago which was a Ryzen 5 2400G and a GTX 1050 Ti with 16gb DDR4 memory
This is what it looks like at night with all the lights off
Sorry about that being so dark lol Specs: Asrock Steel Legend B450m, R5 2600x, 2x8 vcolor ddr4 3200mhz, rx570 and a bunch or drives.
Older pic before I gutted the i7 2600 system and put all AMD stuff in.
My old 8700k 1080ti build.
Here's my garbo setup with a renderfarm and a TV as its monitor.
I think this is as good as it’s going to get until I upgrade my psu or come up with some way to actually hide the cables.
Ryzen 7 2700x, 2070 super, 32gb ram, x470 gaming plus MSI mobo
Corsair spec omega red case
and a huge full tower case which i got because i thought they were the size of mid towers lol
Matrexx 55 case, Asus Prime x470 Pro, Corsair 32gbs 3200 MHz Kit, Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, MSI GTX 1660 Ti Gaming X GPU, Cooler Master AIO 360mm, Corsair 240gb m.2 ssd, Samsung Evo 860 1TB ssd. Love this machine runs like a beast !! going to be upgrading to a 2700X and a MSI RTX 2070 Super gaming X card soon, then do a full custom loop!!! New pics when that is done !!!!
Oh, it’s ON!!
FINALLY it's done, I would not wish building an ATX in this case on anyone!
Build #2 of the day is done
upgraded the pi with a compact usb hub, so now it has four usable ports instead of just one
wanna put a battery bank here for optional battery power
it's a raspberry pi built into a complicated lego frame with a usb-powered cooling fan and touch screen (which i have yet to hook up to the gpio header for lack of jumper cables)
24" monitor for scale 🤣
pff, who needs side panels anyway?
My 3rd build, I actually focused on the cable management for once and it’s finally done as a bday gift to myself! Only thing I think I could of added would be custom psu cables. I9-9900k w/ RTX 2070 & 32gbRAM. Anticipated gpu upgrades within ~2 years. BAD ass gaming and editing workhorse
Look at this AMAZING custom build I sat next to at a LAN party once
Merry Christmas
PC for the kids to play on.
Or holiday red and green!
got this build done
trying to squeeze as much performance per dollar out of it
turned out pretty neat
$488 total cost
i5 8400

My workstation specs are 2nd gen threadripper 2990wx motherboard gigabyte 229909 gpu 4x RTX 2080 ti ram 128gb Corsair rgb pro, 32tb of Samsung ssd and Corsair HXi 1200i
ALL DONE ! Just a few things to fix here and there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToVyvwlEHdA
just turned it on.
graphics soon/rgb as well. still not too bad for a Plumber ..👍🏿
had to shuffle a few of the boxes around, got in 5 more motherboards and then the two vega boxes.
@grave pine that's some nice organization
I currently have all my boxes in my closet strewn about
I need to do a second coat on the front but I ran out of paint so
Got a second monitor, still working on cable management on the monitors (need an extension cable)
What ? No points for original case?(The remote is a bit unusual ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToVyvwlEHdA
Look ma, im building my first pc 🤩
This thing can only run minesweeper
should i add Ambient Light or just leave the RGB as is.... im running a R7 2700x and 5700 xt sapphire with 16gb Gskill RGB on a MSI X370 motherboard
Before I painted my case white
My buds from Ibuypower how do you feel?
After organizing and cleaning a bit, i present the least worst picture of my setup
ive got a LOT planned for the start of the new year
8 more systems y'all havent seen pics of yet

It's my brother's old computer that I'm actually scrapping for parts, found a 500gb HDD, and 2 40gb hdds in it lol
One of the 40gb ones isn't even sata tho so it's of no use to me
Gotta peep what processor is in it
Whatever the heck it is slapping a gt 210 in it because y not
still waiting on my laptop to arrive with the new gpu installed and waiting on my monitor. we are putting the other arm on it for my stand

is this enough RGB?!? 😎 its not always like this, only when i turn my pc on. 🥳 Happy New Year! 🥳
@lone sage its just acrylic sheets sandwiched together n part of it was cut out to fit led strips. im using Pacific Lumi Plus strips so lighting effects can match with the Riing Trio fans. after cutting n bending, i shaped it with a small dremel grinder bit. also had to sand it to give it a frosted look. that helped capture n reflect lights inside the acrylic sheets 🙂
ight
i got to work today
and finished up three more builds

New Year New Build. I haven't built a new PC in 10 years so here's the parts list and some pics. Cable man will be better with custom cables soon.
How'd I do on my wires? I took the time to sort them while I was dedusting(not a word) my computer.
Did i do good?
I did some DIY netting. Found it in my closet
I got help with the name for my sort of monochromatic set up that I'll be upgrading more of later... "Project Mono"
Cpu: R7 3700X
GPU: Msi Twin 2070 SUPER
Mobo: Msi Mpg X570 wifi integrated

All I need is some cable mod cables :)
My sister's build
Ryzen 5 2600, GTX 1060 3gb, 16gb gskill, b450 steel legend.
When I was building it for her I started getting jealous of the case
I have a Phanteks Eclipse P300 and it has worse airflow than the nzxt.
The case makes it overheat really quickly
This is my first personal build.
I might do a build in an old alienware case next
Ok guys lets keep the talking for #general-chat or #building-and-recc-chat
The pic I used for the ViewSonic giveaway
I gotta get me some lights🤔
New editions : Corsair k70 mk.2 keyboard / corsair dark core mouse / corsair virtuoso mic / and corsair mouse pad
Filled and leak tested. Going to replace the two mobo runs with a combo of fittings/extensions and tubing.
I'll have it lit up in a few. Swapping the fans on the front filled (this'll be fun), and finishing up some wiring.
one part left should be there on Wednesday. welcome to germany
Needs more rgb
i might need a bigger fan lol
Ignore how dirty the glass is. That's the one thing I missed when cleaning it last night 😔
Make you go blind lol

Dope or nope? (don’t mind the plate)
@undone sun dope
Just finished building this, very first build and so proud it went alright in such little time
This is my first build and I did it in roughly 5 hours only because I was a little slow on figuring out how the CPU fan went on. Other than that it works as expected, beautifully. GPU is from my last PC.

Hey guys and girls new to the chat thought I’d join you all and show you my build so far not yet finished need some nice led strip lighting to make it look nice, as I do love things that light up 😂

DeepCool Gammaxx L120T w/ a stock fan swapped for an Arctic Cooling P12 PWM PST. The radiator is mounted on the front, with the P12 pushing air through. The PSU acts as an exhaust fan being mounted right above the motherboard. The case is Silverstone Sugo SG13 - so you can check the layout.

Not really a build but I just got done doing this to my laptop
Parts are in
Not the cleanest build, but it’ll do for now
The purple is a lot more matched in person, but I just painted the GPU shroud and backplate white, along with the white painted carbide 06 (yes Ik they have a white one but I didn’t buy that one at first)
Next plans I need left are an AIO that’s hopefully white like the h110i white one, ll120 fans for the rest and top exhausts, RGB ram maybe in white of course, custom sleeved cables and an LED strip
New build with a free mobo and cpu. With display lights on ofc.
A little cable management make a big difference lol
