I recommend Elite: Dangerous. It's basically the best Space Simulation game out there right now. It's got a pretty wide amount of content and it's about to get a gigantic expansion that allows players to disembark from their ships on-foot and complete on-foot missions.

And the game even supports VR. It's quite a spectacle to play in VR too

I need to try playing it in VR with my HOTAS.

As for the mouse, my highest recommendation is to measure your hand in centimeters, and then figure out your grip style, and use the mouse search function at https://www.rocketjumpninja.com to find a mouse that fits your hand the best, along with your needs.

It can get expensive to just swap between mice if you don't like one you just buy at random.

So I tried HL Alyx with Airlink with the Quest 2 for the first time with just a standard $70 tplink router, not even dedicated or 5GHz and it's fine. Like crazy good. Other than some minor compression issues it plays just fine. I barely notice the difference between it and a wire. Not sure what people are talking about when the complain.

Am I missing something? This is ungodly good quality wireless VR.

Sort of. It's simulating the physics, but the vehicles themselves are highly unrealistic. Each piece of every vehicle has its own physics, but they don't interact with each other correctly so you get less accurate crashes. If you look at real high speed crashes, the car crumples. In the game, they tend to explode.

Hey yall, quick question. I'm abroad for studies and due to my work, I decided to build my first tower PC. R9 3900X, RTX 2080 Super.

Problem is portability (which is why I have avoided building a PC up to now). Going back home for vacation means I'm stuck back with my potato laptop which can play league at high settings 60 fps no problem, but that's it... I'm looking to host my own cloud gaming service but my only problem which stops this is port forwarding :((.

I'm in student accommodation so I have no access to a router. The only solution I had to this was ngrok to open port 80 for web hosting, but I don't think that works in the case of moonlight etc.

My aim is to basically have a back connection to my tower PC which I will leave turned on 24/7 while I'm away on vacation, and offload all GPU/CPU loads to it, basically just streaming an image to my laptop/phone/raspi or whatever device.

Windows or Linux solutions are both welcome, though the host machine is windows based.

Ok, it won't absolutely mop the floor, but it does give it a good run for its money.

Singlethreaded performance is around 20% better

Multithreaded is where it suffers compared to a 3900X due to it only having 8c16t

No, the only TTT with Ground Guns is a Custom Game Mode, which has stupidly tiny menus.

And I think it only works on 1 map

Since you would need to custom program the spawn locations.

Vulkan uses vulkan instead of iirc dx11 on Siege, most of the fancy Nvidia things gets added to the vulkan version, like reflex and dlss.
