I work in a field of military work where we work with secure equipment. The best security is to have a backpack and wear it with the laptop at all times. Other than that, maybe a small pelican case you can lock, but thats over doing it for one piece of technology.
What's funny is, if you're a courier of confidential equipment, keeping it on you at all times is a requirement. It can't leave your sight.
So either keep it with you, or don't have a laptop with information you could lose.
