@wild panther @lone depot There are various ways to calc response time. The very, very small ones like 1ms and under use MPRT. That's basically how long the pixel stays visible, AKA how long the pixel stays between 10% - 90% brightness. Usually for these monitors you'd have the backlight be strobed lighted running at lets say 144Hz, but only stays on only for 1ms, thats what gets you a 1ms MPRT response time. That however doesnt change how fast the actual colour/pixel filter changes though. So if the colour filter can only have a response time of 50ms then the general perceived response time would be 50ms.

of course you can also calc the response time of the colour filter in many ways too, Grey to grey, colour to colour, white to black, black to white, black to black, etc

even when manufacturers calc the filter response time, they use grey to grey, the quickest one. Generally also not accurate of what you'd usually see as that'd usually be colour to colour

@hollow prawn I’m useing the Deep Cool Castle 360 on my open air setup. I absolutely love it. While I’m aware it’s not as efficient as the Artic Liquid Freezer for a CPU without overclocking it is pretty much dead silent. It does Rev up a bit gaming but my speakers then drown it out. I personally picked it just till fill the case, and also to cause it simply looks good.

It works as well as a normal pc case if you don’t need to use it in the test bench capacity. It has pads on the bottom that let you lay it down flat. So when you need to swap out stuff often you just remove the glass and lay it flat.
