It was bought in last Nov. off of Walmart, guy was trying to find the box before meeting with me & thank god I persisted that he find it

It’s in good condition, drivers took forever to download, we had a few issues but managed to furmark it and it performed great, couldn’t timespy because I forgot to update it before leaving & targets WiFi sucked

But originally it wouldn’t boot, he said that there’s issues using DP with no drivers, so I bought an hdmi cord, still no display. I asked if the fans spin usually when booting up (cause it has a 0 RPM mode) and he said “oh maybe you don’t have a big enough power supply” and tried to explain that he had issues with the card until he upgraded to a 1000w, then offered to run back to his house and sell it to me 💔

Found out the issue was the connector, I used the 4070tiS 12x2, swapped it out for the 12x3 the graphics card came with. Weird thing is that the bag containing it was unopened

youd have to go into your bios in order to turn on secure boot. how to do it depends on your motherboard cause sometimes manufacturers put things in other places, but itll either be in boot or advanced, then you should be able to find Secure Boot then enable it

you probably have CSM enabled in bios/OS installed in MBR format

you're gonna need to use mbr2gpt to convert your OS off of the legacy format and then disable CSM in bios

I believe the error comes from secure boot being incompatible with CSM

With gigabyte bios, I can't change the secure boot setting without disabling CSM. So I always have that turned off

if CSM was enabled when you installed the OS then it installed in MBR format

MBR format will not boot with CSM disabled
