hey so i got a question last night was on my pc and everything shut off then i went to go turn my pc back on but smelt like a burning smell so i unplugged everything and i smelt where you plug the power cord in at and it smelt burnt let it sit for like 3 hours then tried to plug it up again turned it on it shut off right away then seen like a spark from near the psu, and heard a pop. does anyone know what is wrong i was thinking just the psu went bad but trying to make sure nothing else did. Also when it shut off first time the pc was plugged into the wall not surge protector which i know isnt a good thing but i was at friends house and didnt have a option to.

single level cell only stores one bit per cell, which is two voltage levels: 0 and 1. The reason it is so expensive is because the fact that it is enterprise but also because the capacity it is able to store is much lower, so you need more nand for the same amount of storage

MLC or multi level cell is double that, with two bits or 4 voltage levels: 0, 1, 10, 01, and so each cell now has less durability because of the additional voltage levels but provides more storage

Also each iteration up is also slower

Triple level cell has three bits per cell, or 0, 1, 01, 10, 100, 010, 001, and has less durability and so on

My bad I wrote the bits wrong for tlc but basically the amount doubles per cell

Two for slc, four for mlc and so on

qlc has 4 bits per cell and even more voltage levels to manage, which makes it much slower and less durable

i mean if the company wants to give majority stake into the US Gov or lets the us gov outright buy them, sure

we have plenty manufactures that still independently ownedb ut the gov has main contracts and power in them

Even if we do massively expand NASA's budget, a lot of it will just have to go to increasing pay, because NASA has been having trouble with private space corps poaching the good hires
