kinda do what you're doing now where it generates all this data but have it as part of a bootable USB that autosaves the information to the root of your flash drive. so if you have a PC that won't boot windows for some reason, you can load off the USB and snag all these pieces of information about the hardware. have it grab the drive health as well and put all that together in plain text and save it to the USB to view on a working machine

Am5 cpus have 24 usable gen 5 lanes, 16 always go to the gpu slot, 4 always go to a primary m.2 slot, 4 are discretionary (the usb4 ports have to use some of these). Then each chipset has 8 lanes into it, x670, x670e, x870e have two chained together for 12 lanes total. Then the board makers can downgrade some of those to gen 4, they can do some other stuff to distinguish between product tiers. The chipset names are just a guarantee of a few minimum mandatory features.

In Elite Dangerous, when you enter systems, scan planets and or land on them, you get cartography data, the more thorough your scanning the more valuable the data is. You then sell it to Universal Cartographics for mones
