I've noticed one big advantage to having both Radeon GPU and AMD CPU... the Radeon software itself takes care of the chipset drivers.

Any extra heat from upping the resolution only comes from the gpu. The laptop would be the cpu and if you lower the fps because of a higher resolution, at the same settings, that's less work for the cpu.

There are tutorials about using it, basic gist is check the settings in lossless scaling, do the settings you want, then go back to the game you're playing, set it to windowed, tab back to lossless scaling, click scale, tab into the game, and you should be good

Part of the reason they're keyed differently is because, as a standard, WiFi cards include Bluetooth. Bluetooth communicates over the USB interface.

So a "WiFi" M.2 slot will have both PCIe x1 and USB

NVMe is only PCIe.
