Is there anyone here who can help with a Steam download issue that keeps dropping to 0 Mbps and never resumes?
I’m honestly stuck at this point. My Steam downloads start normally, then suddenly drop to 0 Mbps and just stay there for hours without resuming. This isn’t a short unpacking pause — it completely stalls.
I’ve already tried everything I could find:
– Clearing Steam’s download cache
– Restarting Steam and the system
– Disabling “Enable write caching on the device”
– Limiting download speed
– Checking disk space and disk health
Other launchers like Epic and Ubisoft download fine, so this seems to be Steam-specific. I’m using an NVMe SSD, fast internet, and the system itself is not slow.
If anyone tech-savvy has experienced this or knows what actually fixes it, I’d really appreciate the help. I’m out of ideas at this point.

but regarding your issue, i'm not too sure what is causing it... since you reintalled steam it might not be the client and something on the system that is causing an issue
it could potentially be driver related or the antivirus interfering (iirc the laptop comes with mcafee?) but i dont really have much of any other ideas other than just reinstalling windows to see if that fixes it
or maybe it could be the steam servers in your region having issues, but i just tested installing a game (though on the toronto server) and that worked perfectly fine

200g of frozen mangos which i blended (obv wait for it to thaw), 2 whole eggs, 100g of canola oil could do butter but butter becomes solid in lower temps which may affect texture i believe oil is more consistent, think i did abt 5 grams of baking powder and eyeballed half of that for baking soda, a pinch of salt, 200g of ap flour, and i recommend 150grams of sugar, think i used abt 70 grams of plain yogurt was aiming for 50, then like a teaspoon or two of vanilla extract. Its basically banana bread but mangoes instead of bananas so u can experiment with nuts other dried fruits and spices like cinnamon btw. I baked it in my air fryer at 300f for 25 minutes and honestly it was a bit undercooked I would recommend 320 or 330f in a oven for like 30 minutes should get more consistent results.
