nowadays, it's good because it's relatively inexpensive. If you get a 5500, you could run much higher than 3200 since it's monolithic CPU die. if you get like 5900x or other Zen 3 CPU, it's very hard to run higher than 3800mt/s because FCLK... eh I won't bore you with the explanation on that unless you want it. 3600mt/s would be better & would run on most Zen 3 CPUs

It's an amazing card for sure, every game ran very well and the performance/thermals (when tuned) just comes out as an awesome gpu. Though there a couple issues imo such as the latest drivers being finicky and the card's OC potential being lackluster

other than that its really solid @ 1440p, FSR4 is amazing tho

Once you get the hang of MO2 it is way better

I guess it is fine with prebuilt and preorganized collections but doing your own stuff and own organization is pain

The safety margin on a pcie 8 pin is about 2x that 150W so pigtails, assuming a decent power supply, are generally fine.

Some older models would be multi rail with a really weak 12v rail having a pigtailed line on it and some cheap ones use thinner wires that can't handle as much current.

The 150W 8 pin spec is super conservative considering most half decent psus these days come with 18awg and maybe 16 on the pigtail

Radeon cards typically don't report power or input voltage where hwinfo can read it. Presumably it would be about 50W though.
