The pins on a PGA cpu are generally thicker than the pins of a LGA socket, meaning in a situation where both types of pins are getting bent, the LGA ones are more likely to break, more easily bent and, since it is in a socket rather than on a cpu and the general design of LGA pins, harder to unbend

PGA pins are much more forgiving and easier to replace if needed.
