Oh yeah, I have a ROM modded S5. I got android 10 on it. I forgot what the name of the ROM was but it was awesome. It added so many cool features. It had a screen dim mode that, instead of lowering the brightness, it would just turn every other pixel off in a checker grid. It would save a decent bit of battery while still being legible

I'd say Dell Latitudes are good. I wouldn't go anything lower tiered than that. I had an Inspiron that had great specs for the price (I think it was some 12th gen i5, only 8GB of memory but I upgraded that later, 512GB), bought it for $600. The track pad had a very weird grounding issue and would just cut out every once in a while. There's a fix that some Redditors have found that basically requires some soldiering. Still super annoying that I had to deal with that though

It actually wouldn't been a great laptop and I'd still be using it if it didn't have that issue

Cloud gaming's primary use case is for super high graphical games like cinematic games, that your PC can't handle or that you can't afford a GPU for.
We're already at a point where I'm not interested in those type of games at launch. Because, well, most of the time they launch bug-ridden and glitchy as all hell.
So cloud gaming doesn't get me anything I can't already play on a GPU that's 1-3 generations old

and that's the option I've gone with, is using a GPU that's not cutting edge

I think that's the better option for almost everyone

my GOG library isn't as large as my Steam one yet but it's getting tehre

While the install for steam is the same, some of the mods, especially salvo, have some trouble reading game data

The dlc for FNV and 3 are a single file for each one and an esm file, you throw those files into a different copy, enable them in a mod manager and it should work

Keep in mind FNV is also a 32bit application so you have to tick it over to 64bit for more ram usage
