for anybody else curious. WOLED is White, Blue, Green, Red. So it uses white pixels to make brighter things "brighter", except the brightness is only white, so you end up with like 1500 nits of pure white, and like 300 nits of color, so unless the highlights are white, they look super dim

And then cause you have so much white, it lowers the gamut of the color, so you end up with over bright, under colored, very wonky displays

WOLED is 300 nits on white, but the colors have way less brightness. QD OLED on the other hand has exceptional color luminance, so its colors aren't just "more saturated", they are physically brighter
