In order to get to the BiOS batter, I have to remove both GPU's, one of which has a special cable routed through the case to power, and they are both braced on the frame

To get to the RAM, I have to remove the front of my CPU cooler, and disconnect everything in my PC to pull it out from the little cubby it's in

but that's the only guarantee

in all the systems I've built, the highest I've managed with 4 sticks of 32GB is 4400MHz

When I was there, I didn't see any speeds below stock, I didn't even know DDR5 could go so much lower than stock speeds

Your options are:

1. You can return the ram and go back to 64GB, gaining you nothing and costing you a ton of time
2. You can upgrade your CPU to 13th-14th gen; they are rated at 4000MHz for this much ram. Not ideal but it's not as bad.
3. You can keep the RAM and keept he CPU and just run at default JEDEC timings without enabling XMP.
4. You can upgrade your platform. In order to attain 4800MHz with 4 sticks, you'll need an Intel LGA1851 setup with an Ultra 200 CPU; you can run 4 sticks at 4800MHz if they are CU-DIMMs. This will also gain you the capability to run 256GB in 4 slots with the right RAM sticks.

When you first started your system with all 4 sticks before enabling XMP, the speed shown for JEDEC would have been 4800 because that's the "default" like how it was DDR4-2133 and DDR3-1066. However if you looked at the actual running speed it would say 3600.

That's where we're at right this second. You need to reset your BIOS settings, because it's trying to boot with XMP at a speed it can't run

I do get that, I'm just not sure why it's not saying it can't do it.
First time it did, and then popped up an error message and took me to BIOs

Also, if it's that big of an issue where you physically can't take the time to get your PC out of its cubby (btw why the hell is it in a cubby if you need cooling for two GPUs, I digress)

You could do a BIOS flashback if your board supports that as well, and that forces all defaults

that requires you to access the back of the PC
