This was just World World 2 in space....The parallels are too strong and don't feel original to me. The writing is almost perfect, the best since George sold the franchise. There are few instances there and there that felt like something the old lucasfilms would implement into the world, others not so much. I'm not a hater, but this show isn't the whole original formula that made Star Wars a hit. The creativity shown this season is a step up from a vast majority of DSW for sure, but it could still be higher.
