but if i put adrenalin software on my third monitor, which is connected to the dgpu, it records the game with 0 issues

Depends if u want good battery life u gotta set a certain tdp limit for the ally lets say 15w the performance is just 1-2 frames over the deck at that wattage, but the ally can go higher than 15w for its tdp unlike the deck and can get more performance but significantly less battery life

Personally I would've gone with a Thinkpad so I can play around with different Linux distros and have a Windows/Linux dual-boot setup (yeah I'd be that guy)
