I have an interesting question. I feel like I should know why but I don’t. So I am in Fullsail for game development and they sent me this laptop that has a 4070 with 32Gb of ram and a 14900KF Intel cpu. It gets on average 200 to 270 fps on games like call of duty and helldivers 2. Meanwhile my desktop with a 4070Ti 32GB of ram, AMD 7900X and a 1000W power supply is holding steady at 60 to 70FPS. And I’ve already checked the frame rate limits and I have them set to unlimited and I’ve check in the Nvidia control panel and optimized that. But I still don’t know why my desktop isn’t out performing the laptop.
