capture one is industry standard for studio and catalog editing. so far I've found it to be a better raw processer than adobe

Usually photo editors are divided between layer based editors like photoshop and affinity
and then catalog editors like lightroom and capture one, which are usually meant for fast grouped edits or tethered capture

most professionals would use a workflow of lightroom/capture one + photoshop for more advanced edits
