New eggs sent my pre-belt tower to the completely wrong address in a completely different state. Is refusing to take 0 responsibility for the issue and passed it onto STG. I’ve been the one left to clean up the mess and bear the headache of trying to 3rd party track the package and get it to the correct location. 78 different calls equating to 8.6 hours spent on the phone with UPS, NewEgg and STG support. I told UPS four days ago that they were sending the package to the wrong address and there was no one there by that name to receive that package. They could care less because the package had restrictions on it from the shipper. The shipper wouldn’t remove the restrictions or contact UPS on my behalf so I just had to let the package get delivered to the address. This would’ve been the end of it for me if I didn’t know the people who lived at that old address still aka my old roommates. I’m now having ups pick up the package again and send it back to stg while stg sends me a brand new 1 . Fml. Lessons learned - alway triple check that the shipping address didn’t default back onto the old 1 before pulling the trigger. Thanks NewEgg for easily. Accepting my money in the blink of an eye but leaving me to fend for myself after the fact.
