the best cpu you can get is really quite mediocre compared to even the 7600x

the 3700x isn't the most powerful cpu

but going from a 3700x to a 5800XT won't get you a lot of performance

relative to going to a 7600x

which will cost more yes

but the performance/$ is better

consider that xt is just x with a very very slighty higher clock speed and a lower msrp, which makes 3700x -> 5800xt basically just 1 generation of uplift, which is barely anything
