people rag on internships, but i think theyre undervalued. its the main reason i never became a programmer. i chose not to do an internship during my degree and was the only one without a job on graduation day

Probably not as bad, but I did make a bad decision by not working during my first degree. I lived off student loans for two years, which was a massive L decision.

But I was foolish enough to think degree = job, cause that's what we were taught as kids. But it was false, sent out 1500 resumes and got 0 callbacks.

but that was also before i learned 90% of jobs on LinkedIn are fake or placeholders to keep a running pool of applicants at all times.
