Like, if you are somebody that even casually renders in blender and you have, say, a 7600XT. A 2060 will run absolute laps around it. Its that kind of stuff

if you want to branch out and do things that aren't just gaming and video recording and stuff, you will constantly run into tons of pit falls, which will discourage you to do things

For example, the 7900XTX is a very capable card, but even with latest ROCm support, its 24GB of memory is onyl equal to about 18GB on NVIDIA cause of inefficient support for FA2, and the 7900XTX is like 40% slower than a 3090 for generations as well

Thats still plenty fast to experiment, but just remember that is the 7900XTX, and the moment you drop down even just 2 cards, its like 5x worse

yeah, unless you have some really weird prescription, i believe the general adjustment period is around 2 weeks or so, depending on how big the change is

yeah i wouldnt say i'm a big fan of them considering that you have to look in different locations of your lenses
i dont need progressives but i dont like (the concept of) needing to look in certain parts in order to see properly

so for the first few mins u cant see

i think its more like seconds

all i know is,. glasses make my vision not blurry lel

they feel wayy better than when i first got them, i can tollerate them longer

that makes it a little bit more strange that you still have headaches after 3 weeks, i would definitely recommend going to an optician to make sure that your prescription is right, and your lens is set right for your pd
