Hi all!! I have this GPU. Ive had it for quite a while... However, my games, kinda keep crashing with some random error (looks like video error thing) and I am wondering if my GPU can be dying? Im a noob but I thought maybe the GPU is overclocked and its making issues, but looking at GPU-Z, it seems like it is not. Any ideas pls? Overclocking now would make it worse you think?

I have two screens, and when crash happen, they both have this weird "blink" like if resolution changed, ig that makes sense. 😦

Flash Attention 2 is the biggest one. That allows you to allocate all the memory the model will ever use ahead of time, and also reduces the memory usage by about 30% for context

Without it, you load the model, and every time it adds more to its memory or "context", it will slowly use more and more and more memory until it overflows, and the more memory it uses, the drastically slower it runs

With FA2 it loads with 12.8GB memory

By 6k tokens in content, the non FA2 one is already at 13.8GB, and its lost over 60% of its generation speed, while the FA2 one is still at 12.8GB and full speed

I use an Ai model to go to web pages, look at code repos, implement that code all in one go to load new models. I can then use those models to transcribe audio, or video, or images. I can then use that transcribed data to train networks that are better at all of those

I have a light weight AI Chef character I made that can run on a phone that makes better recipies on average than chat GPT lol
