Not sure if this is entirely accurate, because I don't know exactly how the xp is given.

Every minute that you're messaging, you randomly gain between 15 and 25 XP.

To avoid spamming, earning XP is limited to once a minute per user.

This graph assumes you have to be actively messaging for a minute in order to get any xp (and i just averaged [15+20] / 2 = 20xp/min), but I'm guessing if you opened discord once per minute and sent a single message you would probably still get the xp
