Soooo I got my ARGB montech fans to turn on (the lights were off before)

But when I plug my CoolerMaster fans into the hub they all turn back off

Plugging them into the mobo directly with the hub disables the montech fans and turns on the cooler master fans

but cannot for the life of me seem to get them to cooperate and both turn on

just replugged in the montech hub input to the mobo and now the cooler master fans are on and 2/4 of the montech fans are on

heck we need to do two things (1) get the montech hub just to be a pass-thru splitter thing instead of controling with the reset button & (2) probably uninstall the CM software so it won't fight OpenRGB unless it can somehow control the motherboard rgb stuff too

what you could do to make sure it's actually being held for 5 seconds is

take this wire off then short the two pins under there together with a screwdriver or something else metal for like 10 seconds

because that 2-pin connection right there is what runs to the case's reset switch or if it's a dedicated aRGB switch

& pressing the switch just shorts it anyway

what's interesting is that it turns it off. If the montech hub was still in control using the button instead of being essentially a splitter, it shouldn't be affected by the CM software at all

I haven't used that CM software in so long... let me download it & see if I can figure out if it'll control non-CM fans too because iirc I could before
