could be an issue with the ram being seated. The motherboard itself or you have a stick or sticks dieing

Easiest things you can do is update your bios incase theres a weird problem causing ram detection issues, a mem test to see if your ram is throwing errors or bad sectors and the easiest just simply reseat your ram sticks and making sure they are clicked in firm

I suppose a bad sector or pin or pad depending on the CPU is also a possibility that controls ram detection/usage/control could also be an issue

or even mounting pressure issues if it caused the mobo/cpu to bend. Mobo would be less likely as most newer have backplates that prevent the socket from warping at all and most decent coolers prevent over tightening that can cause issues
