Scanned through pretty much every section in the manual and don't see anywhere to get the Attentuation or SNR stats. Usually, frequent DSL dropouts are due to High SNR, poor attenuation or too far from the DSLAM for your connection speed. Can be caused by poor connection in the phone wire connection box, poor quality phone cable and a few other things. Might have to contact your ISP to see if they can provide SNR/Attenuation numbers or check your phone line connections.

alright so this is my friend he used to have a trash prebuilt but a mutual friend of ours gave him parts from various prebuilts and they built this new pc and he kept his original hard drive from his trash prebuilt but just installed a new ssd stick into his pc but the only issue is that when he boots his pc it prioritizes his hard drive until he boots up bios and changes it so it starts super slowly until he can change it then it becomes a normal fast speed

am having a very weird issue with my laptop

that

randomly

it just gives off a black screen

audio also stops

its not just the screen

when i restart the laptop

Are the speakers in the screen side or keyboard side

how old is it and when is the last time the heatsink was cleaned

i never clean this piece of junk

the best i did is

remove the dust from the fan with a screw driver

which was today

when i restart the laptop

the power button lights up

then the keyboard leds

(its lenovo)

like normal

but

usually the screen starts before the keyboard leds turn off

cuz i have them as off

but it doesn't

i need to hold the power button to shut it down

then give the pc a good shake f or it to restart properly

Are you sure the screen is dead and it's not just the backlights not working??

when the issues starts

any audio playing shuts down

am using a headset i don't even use the speakers

That can go bad

Hence, I'm asking if the screen is on without backlights
