because there's variation in silicon

some chips run at lower voltages reliably, others need more

Just undervolting can be running the same clock speed at lower voltages, with less heat and power draw, but you have to find what is stable for you

Is it hotter than a x3d? Cyberpunk has insane cpu usage and with a cheap thermalright dual tower fan cooler my 7800x3d stays under 70c
