I was explicitly mentioning the advantages of the 4070 Ti Super in that situation
RT is cool though perf hit is still fairly big, DLSS is amazing though not completely unrivaled by now, and the ~70-100 watts lower power consumption WOULD absolutely show on your power bill
And at 16 gigs of VRAM I'd have confidence that it'll be enough for 1440p for at least a while, though yes AMD does give 20% more
And at the same price, it's a much more difficult call to make

If you're at the point that you realize lower power consumption means a cooler bedroom, I'd say go with the 4070 Ti. But if VRAM is more of a priority type concern, I'd go with the 7900 XT

Bad quiz, just about any RAM issue that stops PC from booting will give a POST code error. So now it depends on whether mobo has a buzzer for them POST code errors. That question implies that you are working with a special mobo which has a buzzer. It does not imply you are working with the average mobo that doesnt have a buzzer (and thus would never beep, as POST errors would be communicated through LEDs or smth).

HDD isnt even that great, as you need to be in a specific scenario to get no display and no POST error. If OS doesnt exist or is too far gone, you get a POST code error about no boot drive (with display). If OS is too good you get a display, usually about 🅱️indows repair or smth.

kind of depends what failure it is though. if it is just unstable ram the system would still run, if it was loose or completely faulty it could go into a boot loop or start spitting out error codes. Then again I avoid beep codes for my personal systems since they are not very detailed
