Advertised boost clocks. Depending on product and company it can be kinda low. AMD/Intel CPUs are pretty spot on, but Nvidia GPUs for example tend to undersell boost clocks by a bit (meaning GPU boosts okay bit higher than advertised).

On intitial thought I don't think so.
Burn in is more about one pixel (or set of pixels) displaying the same thing for extended time

If it's burned in equally in all parts ofc
Otherwise you get the ugly artifacts

Also tbh blue light doesn't harm your eyes as you think it does
Especially with the calibration of modern displays

You get like 8 lanes worth of bandwidth
So you get far less bottlenecking than thunderbolt
Both are very useful but for specifically high end egpu, mxm is just plain better
And it'll always be a state of catchup with cable bandwidth to current gen gpus
So mxm kind of does a better job
The problem is it's not widespread like thunderbolt
And thunderbolt by design is 4 lanes worth of bandwidth physically

I would say the difference isn't big
The take away for me with egpu in my experience is that there will always be at least a little lag
I think it can be better with the laptop screen off
But I don't know with any certainty
Cos there's less overhead in the system in general
So it should be better

On laptops, sometimes that setting isn't forgotten when you turn everything off
