hi all, got a weird question...When i get up from my desk my Screen and sometimes other screens will flash off and then come back on. Occasionally they go off and wont come back on while im sitting. Ive even had it auto restart, or had to force power off to get it back. I have seen where Secret Labs chairs. which I have, have been linked to this along with some other types of chairs. Even if that is the root casue, why would my PC be doing this and it not be a widespread issue? I thought the GPU was faulty and picking up some odd EMI field but the new one has done it when I get up. I did find hooking an ESD strap to the base and then to the upper stops this, so it is electrically related. Any ideas? Thanks

if you want to improve your IHS, then just get a lapping block and compound to flatten the default ihs

yeah those are common on intel especially since their default mounting is very tight and literally bends the cpu slightly
we're still on lga 1700 so all lga1700 contact frames will work afaik
all as in the like 2 different contact frames for lga1700 that exist
i believe you can get like 5 degrees improvement with a contact frame or smth just from not bending the cpu as much

it does void your mobo warranty though, just note that; i'd recommend using the default bracket to make sure everything works so you can still RMA properly before you void the warranty
but yeah your issue is quite weird
i hate issues that are probably layered and also intermittent 💀
but yeah, have you tried what the other 2 have recommended and tried to run the pc outside of the case, like on a mobo box or smth
