it's still not 1:1 with the experience you get on baremetal windows though. I will say though when I did try the main thing that annoyed me was using one monitor specifically for windows and one linux. There was a software that could display the output with very low latency but it still had some hiccups at the time. If they had improved it I would take a look at it again tbh

I have a Surface Studio 2 Laptop I just purchased (64GB RAM, RTX4060, i7) - I paid $2800. I love the flexibility of the laptop, but felt like the screen is a bit under performing specially when watching streaming tv....hesitation, etc. When I watch on my G8 or any other monitor I dont get that effect.

I was told there are much better gaming laptops that would perform better....my budget is 2800-3600. Any recoemdnations
