its 244
Curved just makes games a little more Immersive
mhm so curved is good lol
Lowest I see is 309 on my list
Then Again That is a 32" screen your looking at to
Ok Your Lookign at the 27" 2K QHD one
Its Cool I figured it out. So the AOC is cheaper by like 50 cents on amazon than the ASUS on Newegg
oh so the AOC is the move?
I dunno. for me It would be the ASUS cause of the On Screen Crosshairs. I play alot of FPS
oh yeah i dont really play that many fps games so i dont really mind not having the on screen crosshair
Logitech usually has a decent set for around that price
do you use speakers?
Yep
what pair do you have?
Well Mine are Older But they work. MLi is the brand. But I do have a Yamaha Home Theater Sub connected to my Center/Sub connector so It sounds amazing
I do have a set of logitechs but I have to fix a micro resistor on the mainboard so they power on
yeah i have no clue what you just said lol
I have Logitech Z313 2.1 speakers
No Sub
Ok Yeah Worth it. I have the Z313 but I know how to fix it just need to find a micro resistor to replace the one that burnt itself off the mainboard
would it be fine to put the sub in the desk?
If you want the desk to Vibrate
...no lol
I have a 8 or 10" Yamaha Home Thater Sub and It Vibrates my desk and I built my desk myself
dang lol
Best 240hz gaming monitor under $400?
@wise marlin I would say Possibly Gigabytes Newest 32" I could be wrong on Price point so dont quote me. Personally I like Gigabyte as thats what most of my gaming rigs components are from
thoughts on the samsung g7
Isn't that the one that blew up?
like in popularity or litterally
Literaly
were talking about the new monitor here right?
Oh, I was thinking of the galaxy 7
nope
G7 has been looking good and saw response time on it 3.4ms 240hz on 32inch ufo test on YouTube
I've been waiting for store to get in stock but nada hopefully tomorrow
@raven pelican samsung odyssey g7
you think itd be good for competitive gaming
yassss but 16x9 2560x1440
ive been waiting for it to be instock locally but shipments delayed
Westinghouse WM32DX9019 32" WQHD 2560 x 1440 2K Resolution 144Hz 5ms HDMI VGA DisplayPort AMD FreeSync Technology Flicker-Free Anti-Glare Widescreen Backlit LED Gaming Monitor
https://www.newegg.com/product/N82E16824569005
Is 32" too big?
There is also this one but 27"
Need some opinions
that sounds very fun
intel integrated graphics :))
jk but 32 inch is actually big
so unless u have a huge desk
you'll likely only have 1 monitor
or unless you put ur pc on the floor instead of on your desk
then u could def go for a 32 inch
hey is the asus tuf vg27wq g sync compatible?
the product page on newegg says freesync
Most are G-sync compatible
incredible
Yeah Usually if its Freesync for Radeon it also has G-Sync usually. they just dont advertise it since G-sync has been around longer than freesync I believe
yea and monitors will most likely have flickering when gsync is on unless its actually compatible, or gsync
if you really want a monitor and dont care about backlight bleed check out the alienware 34inch ultrawide aw3418 its on major sale at microcenter
sorry newegg lol
629
I wish I could Afford
it was 799 dropped down, and more now 629.97
I just Want a 27" to 32" 144hz under 250
for me its not bright enough cause i used crg9 samsung 49 inch
oh, well its hit or miss, check reviews on ones you find and see what ppl say about gsync flickering
what gpu u use?
RX-5500XT
well if you stay amd then no issues
So Freesync for me
yea no issues w/ flickering
Ah
its just nvidia on non certified freesync
Yeah Its Just trying to Find one at a decent price. Im looking at a ASUS right now
its 257.23 with Tax on Newegg
what one
i havent tried any asus, ive tried acer x34 and lg 850b, definitely dont like the ips glow
i perfer va
i used to use newegg alot more before online purchases were taxed, now i like local since easier to return if any regret or issue
MSI Optix 27" Class FHD FreeSync Curved Gaming Monitor
Is this a good monitor for 229.99?
$
What’s the best 240hz 24inch monitor
@tame swallow you could probably find something better for a cheaper and price and for me personally not enough pixels in that big of a panel so it might look grainy
a really nice deal imo and they also have a non-curved version as well
So does a monitors hertz mean what FPS it can produce?
no
they're two different things
and the fps is dependent upon on your gpu
not your monitor
your refresh rate is dependent upon your monitor
So what does a higher hertz mean? What does a higher hertz do? Should I just google it lol
Refresh rate
What’s a good size?
unless you're sitting a fair distance away
24"
that way is doesnt look as pixelated
Makes sense
Im looking for a good monitor that is dependable and around 300
144hz ish and atleast 27 inches
Sameee
@silk pasture I've been having trouble finding one
But I'm using mercari and they have some nice deals on there
They have buyer protection and they offer a warranty as well
And it would still be cheaper than trying to find one brand new Lmao
I'm still planning to get that MSI G241 monitor, though I have to admit I'm sort of amused by the one Newegg review calling it awful. (Because apparently they're too lazy to go and manually tinker with the contrast settings.)
Rip
And another one-star for not having a Display Port cable, even though the packaging says it only includes an HDMI cable.
i picked up the alienware 34 inch, gonna use till the 32 inch samsung g7 comes in stock hah, def not bright enough
webpages look to yellow
ill take it
@patent lagoon Actually the Refresh Does affect Framerate.
Even If the GPU is putting out at a higher fps the screen can only show so many frames. This is what leads to screen tear and other known issues. Alot of people say otherwise but try running a Game at 90fps on a 60hz screen and see what happens.
Refresh rates do NOT affect FPS.
FPS = Frames per Second = How many distinct images a GPU outputs, per second
Refresh Rate = Number of times a screen is capable of DISPLAYING, per second
Hence, if you have a 60Hz moniter, and are outputting 120 FPS, you only actually display 60 frames. Likewise, if you have a 120Hz moniter and 75 FPS, you will output 75 unique frames.
Refresh Rate DOES affect Vsync however, as Vsync caps the maximum number of frames to the moniters refresh rate, so enabling Vsync on a 120Hz moniter would cap FPS at 120 FPS instead of the normal 60.
So In a roundabout way It affects what you are seeing on your screen
no i know
i was just talking about two different things in general
in how to explain them exactly
but yes im aware they correlate to the performance displayed
Want a 1440p monitor, thinking off budging for a LG 27GL83A-B 27 Inch Ultragear QHD IPS 1ms, anyone have experience with it
@tame swallow that's quite a jump from the other monitors you asked about Lmao
😂 yeah... a friend has that one. He like it but idk if it’s worth the money.
Can anybody recommend me a
1440p
144hz or more
VA or IPS
colour true in best case
Monitor for around 500€ or less?
Pretty tight budget for that lmao
What GPU do you have?
rx 5700xt paired with a Ryzen 5 3600 and 32gb RAM
So gonna be looking for one of the really nice displays
Yeah, not 4k though, I'd like 144hz but that's sooo expensive paired with 4k
ASUS has one on Newegg
its 257.23 with tax and shipping
Under $250
239.99 before tax and 5 dollar shipping
Oh gotcha
I only know what it is after tax and shipping cause I wanted to know how much I have to have in my bank account when I order mine
@wary plover That Viewsonic isnt 144hz. I spoke to B&H its only 75hz
F
should i get 240hz 24.5 inch or 27 inch 240 hz
and any recommendations
and also TN or IPS
Ips probably
That’s all?
And they’re both 1080p right
what gpu
It’s just personal preference then honestly.
can your gpu support it?
i will get a 2070 super and on r6 it will
oh then yeah 1440p 144hz should work
but i think 1080p 240 hz is better for r6
if u could find one in stock
I’d say 24.5 inch as I’ve heard people say 27” isn’t good for FPS games. Idk why
for the gpu i am waiting for the new gens
me playing fps with my 32 inch
and then i will see
might as well get a 1440p if you're gonna buy new gpu
Probably not
nope then
You want them extra FPSs for those games
f a s t
Nyooom
then get the fastest monitor you can find i guess
but i think 240hz 1080p will be good for battlefield
i dont play many casual games
even though i say bf is a casual game
but its not
Well battlefield is pretty intensive so you won’t get all them frames but it doesn’t matter
Zowie?
What’s its response time
240hz
TN
IPS gang
VA gang because i can't afford IPS gang
I can’t afford it either so I got it refurbished gang
the zowie benq 2546 is 240hz 1ms TN panel
the other monitor i have in mind is the asus tuff gaming 280hz IPS panel 0.5 ms
its faster
idk if you'd notice 40 frames
but i am not sure about its black eq
well i am sure i will notice diufference
then get it?
oh lol
its lterally 100$
i think i will notice it
yeah ofc
but i will see whether i should get TN or IPS
because i might stop playing comp games in the future and just play casual fps ones
like bf
and other games
IPS then
Jeez Here I am running 90-100fps in Modern Warfare on a 60hz screen
im running like 130 on a 60hz screen lmao
what do yall think of thise
*this
and is a curve worth it??
Just bought the Samsung g7 I’ll let y’all know how it is
decent cheap 144hz monitor? I have a VG248QE but i want a secondary for my Tarkov maps. lol
and perhaps a little programming
What speed is your primary?
in terms of wot, hz?
Yeah
What GPU?
a 2070 super
Okay. It would just be for game maps and programming?
Yeah
I do audio production in Ableton, so having two monitors would be helpful for sure
If it's just maps, displays, and programming, you shuold be fine with 60Hz
it wouldnt take away from the fact i'd be running a game at 144hz @ 1080p?
on my primary?
im just curious
Nope. You can run 240Hz on one display and 10Hz on another if you really wanted to
Sweet. alrighty then ill look for a decent 60 hz monitor to use
i mean ig not
\
Anyone here think curved is better than flat??
All a matter of what your using it for
I think they are about the same, and for me I would only look at curves for bigger displays
You could always try to see for yourself
From what I have heard Curved is better for gaming and flat is better for productivity
Really all a matter of opinion though
What's your opinion size btw. is 27" enough or would you like 32"?
personal preference really....for me 27" is good enough for me
also depends on how much you want to spend
I'm not sure about Photo-Video editing, I think this needs a lot of space.
Around 500$ is the max, there are some good monitors from MSI in this range, 1440p
165hz
VA panel
For that I'd get an ips
Do you know a monitor with that features and an IPS? :O
Not that high of a refresh rate no
Ouh that's unfortunate, I really like thag smoooothness
Had a 60hz Monitor before, one time on 144 and you don't want to switch anymore lol
I've heard Lmao
ROCKSOUL RSGM-27M3A QHD 144Hz 27 inch Curved Gaming Monitor 2560x1440 2K Widescreen; 1440P Resolution,Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PTZVKX7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_egadFbQKXQKMP
I've never heard of them what do yall think
Not bad based on the price point
Looking good though
Damn it's not available in Austria, gotta keep looking for a cool one
https://www.amazon.de/LG-34GL750-B-Zoll-UltragearTM-Curved/dp/B07VMGX3RV?th=1&psc=1
https://www.msi.com/Monitor/Optix-MAG322CQR
Those look pretty good, the MSI with a VA panel has a better colour reproduction, that's strange
How many hz and what response time would you recommend for a secondary monitor?
75hz 4ms for a secondary is good as long as it wont be runnign games
I'd say for a secondary 60hz whatever time is fine
For a secondary monitor, do I need the same pixel count as the first
Like can i use a 1440p and a 1080p next to each other
Gigabyte G32CQ is really big and really cool! 1440p 144hz 32"
oh thanks for the info
You're welcome
Is this a decent monitor??
https://www.newegg.com/product/N82E16824236821
bit overpriced for 240$
hell it's tn 27in 1080p
only really worth like 160 imo
This is a good monitor
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824475047
lmao good thing he asked
that monitor is awful
i'd choose this tbh
a lil cheaper for the same thing
and this one is curved with a va panel
Pixio
its arriving tmr
Is also TN
Let me buy for you >:)
fun
wait shoot its TN
aw i asked yesterday in chat for 27 inch VA/IPS monitors
and i got recommended that one :((
lol rip
if i want to refund it'll be another 15$
angr
any ips/va 144hz monitors near the 250$ mark tho?
yes i just linked one for $170 lmao
@willow hemlock
also @visual pilot how do i shorten links again
???
Its a 24 inch screen
thats optimal 1080p resolution
23.8 usable
im def not overcompensating
27" will look like garbb
jk but i dont have enough room for 2 monitor
i've seen it for myself
i have 32 inch and its not that bad
Im going with a different one than I originally though
all preference
i personally thought that 24 inch and 27 inch didnt seem different in terms of pixel density
24 is to small for me as a graphic designer
delete ref= and onwards
lmao my delete key is used for something
that isnt delete btw
ripperoni
on a 27" i feel like i can grab the pixels
what is that for
He is saying you delete from the ref= and everything after that
@nova estuary what is that monitor for
Gaming and Graphic Design
VA panel
lmao it didnt work
^^^
5ms
?
imma kms
Reason: Bad word usage
Dammit
yea that pixio one looks fine
is this worth paying for
I need the refresh rate more than anything but also need it to be 27" or larger and come in under 257 total with tax and shipping. Adobe didnt tell anyone they increased the minimum refresh needed to run the software properly for the Creative Cloud Suite of Software
its a scam
So Im better off with the ASUS Flat panel I was originally looking at
I dont understand what the GTG is
in reality 1ms g2g monitors have 20ms+ color response time
So is that one better then
Whats the difference between TN/IPS/VA
theres a good pre-calibrated display for 300$ if you want me to find it
I cant spend more thatn 257 total
Thats How Much I have left after I pay school when I finally get my Federal Tax Return in the next 30 days
and ur in graphic design
it was this went oos
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KXHTRT5
They dont teach us stuff about monitors
sad
need high refresh rate or no
thats how i learned lmao
They give us a frickin 4k macbook pro
I know
And a Locked down OS
Yeah That one is way out my price range
I currently use a 32inch Toshiba Regza TV as my monitor
Hey it works
Whats the refresh cause it has to be above 120 for adobe creative cloud to work properly and not hang up on me
meets all your requirements and its 2k
using a va too
so its not as bad as tn
5ms response time
Umm Its 319
Wisconsin
it's 320 here too
oh what
Cali, and its 320
plus shipping
sucks
where are you lmao
tx
...
:0
He must be In CANADA
sucks to not live in tx
sucks to be in texas
isnt newegg in cali
best state btw
yeah Newegg is in Cali
Yet out of my price range
i would get it but i dont want 32"
My PC is all Gigabyte. Motherboard and GPU
so 144hz va/ips 27 inch monitor under 250 doesnt exist?
ok
:((
no
sad
ikr
oh well guess I'll live with TN
ohhh
i linked the wrong monitor lmao
hol up
there
yw btw
@nova estuary
look at the link :)))
Yeah Its a Westinghouse Like the Curved One I was looking at
i would have bought if i didn't buy one already
except its better :))
but then i wouldn't be able to game on it on 144hz
what gpu u got
Its a good Price but a few dollars above what I can fully afford
it was meant for the graphic design boy
lucky
hes gonna go pro with this one
291.22 after Shipping and taxes
Its Good yeah but 40 some bucks above what I can afford
just e-beg
y
Scpter cant be deliverd to my location
I have a astigmatism in my left eye
It doesnt always focus the right way so a bigger screen helps me
i would rather have lower pixel density than a smaller screen
Lower pixel density doesnt bother me since I have to work by pixel sometimes
Hence Why Im trying to stay at 1080p
One Problem. The Refresh is misreported on that one. I spoke to B&H they looked in the manual its only 75hz at 1080p over HDMI
why not just display port then
I dont have a DP cable
viewsonic is good too
and yes
it can run hdmi at 144hz
im looking rn
just has to be 1.4
I have a RX-5500XT so Im sure its up there. Im not sure about my cable though
ya just check ig
I still Like that Curved Westinghouse though with the features it has. I may be a graphic designer but Im also a gamer
that 27"??
ya but its not as color accurate
Yeah Thats the Only thing
and you're looking at the curved one im assuming??
Yeah
why bother lmao
that msi is better
all the same specs with an ips panel
for cheaper as well
i'd personally buy into the curve
might wanna get better GPU
lmao not now tho
for 1440p
just wait
like a 5700XT
jut buy a 1440p monitor rn and wait for later
*just
thats what im doing
im futureproofing myself
Right.
The Curved Westinghouse has what Im looking for. Thankfully the Software does all the color stuff for me
i wish i thought more
but hey i guess i'll live w/ my decisions
unless i resell 🤔 ?
Always a option
you want get as much of a return on your investment
just return it once you get it tbh
and save up for a little more
hello guys
any deals or recommendations on a 144+ Hz, 32 inch and 1440p monitor?
i was told this was the place to go for help
1080p?
1440
UW?
im sorry im not familiar, UW?
ultrawide
no need
because pixel density on 32in 16:9 1440p is kinda crappy
27in 1440p is good
What's your budget @lunar nymph
under 350 maybe? or is that not possible
VG27AQ is good
1440p 165hz ips
and 27 inch could work
whats the diff between gsync and freesync?'
G sync works with Nvidia Freesync AMD cards
Most freesync monitors are G sync compatiable
ok ok
bcuz i might sell my current monitor and get 1 decent one and later grab another for 2 monitor
let me see this link...
maybe no curve? sorry to make this hard
why no curve :P
1 no curve and 1 curve monitor wouldnt work
Veiwsonic VX2758-2KP-MHD 27" is the only 1440p under 350 you can get that is 144hz ips, do you care if it's ips or va?
and i rather go no curve personal preference
Reason: Bad word usage
It's out of stock under 350 rn
sh*t guys im new to this, whats ips or va?
sure
wait lmao that samsung monitor was priced at $320 just yesterday lmao
i might just buy it lmao
ok so yea ips @storm saddle
any recommendations for any other monitors at 27" 1440p, 144hz
wait i dont think that samsung has a vesa mount
tn is basically just performance
ips is for accurate colors
va in the mid
but has ghosting issues sometimes
ips as i want a pretty game, but i also want a strong Hz
hey um
Fi27aq if it's still at 400$
can someone link me a monitor thats 144hz for 200 or less
@lunar nymph right now there are no ips 1440p 144hz monitors in stock for less than 400$, if everything was normal again you would only have 1 option sadly
@storm saddle what would be my 1 option
FI27aq is back ordered
oh ye also response time
I mean VG27aq
alright
ViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD but it's no where to be found right now
ty weeb
close enough
uve been a lot of help in the other chats to
really appreciate it
yes I am now weeb
so @storm saddle my best bet is to just wait till it restocks?
ye that monitor good
If you can't afford to get into the 400$+ range then pretty much
how long till it restocks, u think?
for 313, it sounds so good, is there a downside?
B&H estimates August 28 I think
Reason: Bad word usage
no bad word
its for sale on amazon, but 100 bucks more...
It has some overshoot problems at the lower refresh rates on it's maximum overdrive setting but nothing you can't expect from something in the price range
what would occur?
Yeah and if you are going to pay 100$ more than you should look into different mointors
It would get some overshoot so like the pixels would change in front of a moving object before it's needed so it would look weird, hardware unboxed is a YouTube channel that has great explanations of all the technical lingo
ok thank you
No problem
and the changing, would it be really bad, or barely noticable?
Well you can turn down the overdrive setting if you were playing at a lower fps and they would go away but it would very slightly increase latency of the panel
ok right
So it depends on what you're playing if you are doing 144+ on the game the whole time you wouldn't notice at all but if not turn it down one notch and you'll be okay
got it thanks a lot!!
👍
any recommendations for a ips/va panel monitor with 144hz+ and 1440p under $500?
(1ms possibly also)
any good monitors on amazon for 1440p, 144hz 27"??
only reason im choosing amazon specifically is bcuz im in need to build a credit score
so signing up for a visa card through them would save me $100
and my uncle gave me $100 for a monitor
so it slightly increases the budget
didnt think i'd have to spend more than $300 but i do lmao
and im fine with a va panel just no tn
now if you find one anywhere else then im willing to pay rest cause my bday next month
Are you enrolled in college?
ya
Discover IT student has been a great credit card for me when I was in school
@pale depot
LG 27GL850-B 27 Inch Ultragear QHD Nano IPS 1ms NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible Gaming Monitor is the best ips monitor available as far as I know
They started me off with a $1,300 credit line and )% interest for my first 15 months.
0%
Just in case Amazon doesn't accept your application for a credit card through them, it's worth applying for the Discover one
I have a 760 credit score and they still denied my application for Amazon lol
whats the difference between an lcd and led display??
thats for tvs but should be the same
ok thx
Is it worth it to pay 100 dollars more for "nano ips"? Trying to figure out which Ultragear to grab
Mmm
What are you trying to get out of the monitor
@visual pilot I need your superb taste in monitors rq
Wut
Okok here
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PTZVKX7/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_i_vLDdFbNRDXN2T

currrrrveeed
how much inches u want on ur monitor
i like that last one
4 ms tho
and its a va panal
That third one linked is $220 refrubed on eBay
And the 4th is $299 refrubed on eBay
acer nitro is good tho ips
yep
I like the Samsung one
i would try and go the acer one looks good
I would say for $299 the Acer nitro is my best option imo
With the ips panel for $20 more
I mean it's 280$
i have va i like it but ips looks brioghter
4ms g2g or whatever I could care less about
300nits isn't dim but isn't the brightest
yeah theres no differnece between 4ms and 1ms pretty much i think its like a .000018
The Acer ones are overpriced on my end
@vital steeple no I mean color response time
You don't know the color response time
A 1ms g2g monitor usually has 20ms+ color response time
4ms g2g somewhere above that maybe
I could care less about g2g
oh XD my bafd
This that refrubed listing
https://www.ebay.com/itm/264493347876 this is the other
First refurb good
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-Frameless-1920x1080-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07TNDGX51/ref=sr_1_27_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=aoc+144hz&qid=1594743474&s=electronics&sr=1-27-spons&psc=1&smid=A3S4H3E5TUN1NP&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUE0M0pCTUw1UFFPN1QmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA0Njc4ODEzNEpVMkZTTU0wNzA0JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1MjgxMjgxRUlLNUdBUUNZVDhZJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYnRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
this is the one i have i got it for 145$ how good is it to you @visual pilot lol i dont know as much as you just asking
I had issues with refurb mobo
yikes
So yea
I also got that refrubed as well
It's working so far
I think I'm gonna go for that acer nitro
im just vibing in here to get more levels
Same
game
noice why not 240hz? 1080p
Ya I'd rather buy into 1440p even though my card isn't the best for it rn
Than spend money on a new gpu later that does 1440p well and then have to sell a 1080p monitor
I'd rather just save my money and not waste my time
Just gonna save me money in the future
i have a extra 1080 i want to do 2 monitor setup but my mom said ill be a weeb
makes sense
Be weeb
lol my mom yet forces me to 2 builds a week but i cant do 2 monitor setu[
but half the time i teach people with my builds so im am education
i enbrace the weeb
What kind of display should I get?
4k 1080p
Jk idk, whats your specs?
I now realize 4k and 1080p wouldnt be on the same monitor
be aware the new samsung odyssey monitors still flicker w/ gsync.. ugh
Good response time for a secondary monitor?
Anything works. Just some cheapo 1080p 60hz is fine
That's possibly even overkill
?!
Human reaction time is on the order of 200ms, so if you don't have any time critical info on there, anything goes
Interesting

If you want to know your reaction times, you can test yourself here
Depends
Secondary monitor*
I would look for a used one
Is it a decent monitor?
60hz 1080p 5ms
That's a fair price. You might consider going cheaper, but if you're willing to spend that go ahead
I'd try looking fro something used, but that's just me
Alright thank you.
Can't really justify 5ms ~= <= 1ms response time by comparing to the 200ms nominal human reaction time.
||r (t) = t + 200ms ; as t approaches 1||

anyone know some good monitors for gaming under 200$?
noone buy the samsung odyssey g7 or g9 lots of issues right now.. wait it out
im waiting for new inventory to exchange mine heh
👌
Even the 49 inch they are holding sales at microcenter until word from samsung what they want them to do..
So if there is delays elsewhere this is why
how do yall feel about ultrawides?
They're wide
so should i get a 1440p at 34"
or a 27"
is there more pixels in an ultrawide or are they the same amount
Well there’s more of course.
If there wasn’t the pixels horizontally would be stretched and that would be weird
Good monitor for 150-200?
G241
OOS. Rip
aw it went oos?
the 144hz version did
rip
i would choose the first or find one with similar specs. 1ms response is nice imo
hey can someone help me out
With what?
@deep dust
Im looking to do a PLP setup, are there any good 5K monitors out for a decent price yet?
sorry, i got help in #building-and-recc-chat last night
hey can someone help me out
@deep dust for future reference...
Dontasktoask.com
alright, my bad
i was just kinda trying to see if anyone was active in the chat at that time
anyone know any good monitors around 130-150
what kinda specs you looking for?
gaming?
@covert solstice yessirrr
might be a bit small tho
VA/144hz
prob the best you'll get at that range i think
I think that's basically perfect thanks a ton @willow hemlock :)
np :))
Ayo how's this
i couldnt find anything cheaper with a 1500R curved
closest thing is a samsung monitor with an 1800R curve
what would you guys think is a good 27-21 inch 2k 144+ monitor
i was looking at the gigabyte g32qc 32 inch
woops i mean 27-31 lol
and is going from a ips to a va worth it??
you dont wanna get the 27" model @idle oyster ?
@patent lagoon i got a 27 inch 60 hz and i just feel like a slightly bigger one would be good as my main screen
whats the resolution?
1080
oh yiokers
being at 32" to me isn't as pixel dense
so it wont look as nice
i've never personally looked at one, but i just expect it to be that way
i have a 27" at 1080p and it kinda looks like trash, but i got it for like $100 and its my secondary monitor
truthfully i dont think i would notice it looking bad since it would be such a upgrade for me in hz and it being 1440p
