Then pick up a 2.0 cable and it should be able to run just fine. The 2060 though will struggle at anything over 1080p (in triple A games)

Hello, I'm looking for headsets for around or below 150 USD for FPS/general music purposes. I've got a couple of options but not sure how they compare in terms of my needs. Rn the PC38X, HD560s, DT990 Pro seem to be the most likely options, but I'm struggling to make a decision here. I see that the AKG K612 Pro is also in this price range, but I'd prefer not to get an AMP since desk space is limited and I want to reduce spending.

#

I'm also open to other suggestions

"The 1TB SSD built into the mouse is no slouch, with up to 985MB/s of bandwidth, it's significantly faster than your traditional SATA 3 SSDs which peak at around 550MB/s of bandwidth. It may not be as fast as an NVMe drive, but that is the trade off for convenience. The XPG Vault comes with a single USB Type C connector which pulls double duty for mouse and the 1TB SSD."

onyx stump
#

is 99 for hyperx quadcast a good deal?

neon root
#

wouldnt recommend the quadcast much as a microphone. if youre doing streaming/recording itd be better to go for a elgato wave:1 instead. if you just want a mic just to talk to other people, theres other mics that are fine like a fifine mic

onyx stump
#

I want a mic that wont pick up all the audio in my house

#

Is the yeti solid?

neon root
#

no

#

thats going to pick up nothing BUT your house

onyx stump
#

I have the snowball because i got it for cheap

#

and it picks up everything

neon root
#

if it has the option to, change the polar pattern of the mic and/or adjust the volume of the microphone

#

could also get voicemeeter or something similar and put a noise gate on it to help try and cut stuff out

#

or try rtx voice if youre able to

onyx stump
#

Thats something i tried and ive always had the problem in discord where it cuts in and out

#

the voicemeeter

neon root
#

have to mess with it and fine tune it but its also a problem on discords end with their software with their noise gates and stuff that you need to disable

#

turn off discords noise gate and noise suppression stuff

onyx stump
#

should i do the banana or regular, i did banana last time

neon root
#

i use banana, but the normal one and banana both work

onyx stump
#

is AUX VAIO the right things

neon root
#

for your audio output, you want it on "voicemeeter input"

#

so like to listen to your youtube videos and stuff

onyx stump
#

And for output is it, the VAIO or AUX VAIO

neon root
#

vaio

#

not aux

onyx stump
#

So for discord what do i set it to

neon root
#

for your audio out, so you can hear people talking, you want it as "voicemeeter input", not the aux one. for people to hear you on the Input Device section for your microphone, once you set up your microphone in voicemeeter, have it set to "voicemeeter output"

onyx stump
#

Ya idk, it still cuts out when I test it in the discord

neon root
#

what do you have your noise gate set to on voicemeeter? and did you turn off the noisegates and noise suppression in discord?

onyx stump
#

Noisegate is at 0 and i set everything to off in the discord settings

neon root
#

you want these turned off

onyx stump
#

In voicemeeter my voice comes through crystal clear but in discord it cuts in and out

neon root
#

also whats your input sensitivity at assuming you have auto turned off

#

in discord

onyx stump
#

All the way to right

neon root
#

thats why

#

move it to the left

#

not all the way to the left though

#

otherwise noise will be able to make it through

onyx stump
#

It still does that

neon root
#

weird

#

not much else i can think of that can be interfering with the microphone

onyx stump
#

I used voicemeeter for a year or two, and it never had any problems and then it randomly started doing that so i never did it again. And that was on my old pc i had the issue and i still have the same issue on my new pc.

neon root
#

honestly not to sure whats wrong unless you have some other software in the background thats messing with the mic through discord

Is there a way to make closed-back headphones not heat up your ears so much without losing sound? I've just been using the Headphones over Hoodie method but it kinda loses a good amount of quality

timber ridge
#

reg viper shape is lowkey p wonky, not really good for any grip besides ftip but even then its a bit too large imo

is the basikisk v3 a good mouse?

neon root
#

yes however if you want something of similar shape and want to be able to adjust the weight a bit, id recommend going with a logitech g502

#

a bit cheaper as well when on sale but if you do want a razer mouse instead, the basilisk is still a good choice

gritty kettle
#

basilisk is cheaper where i live
