Then pick up a 2.0 cable and it should be able to run just fine. The 2060 though will struggle at anything over 1080p (in triple A games)
Yeah it’ll just use the 2.0 signal
👍
thanks man
Guess this is like a custom keeb chat in a way
Something like that
nice
Hello, I'm looking for headsets for around or below 150 USD for FPS/general music purposes. I've got a couple of options but not sure how they compare in terms of my needs. Rn the PC38X, HD560s, DT990 Pro seem to be the most likely options, but I'm struggling to make a decision here. I see that the AKG K612 Pro is also in this price range, but I'd prefer not to get an AMP since desk space is limited and I want to reduce spending.
I'm also open to other suggestions
I don't live in the US
pc38x is best outta all
afaik
But my recc is cooler master mh751/752
A lot cheaper and still decent
Doesn't seem to be very common, most legends not in english are just weeb keycaps in Japanese
Oh
😆
USB 3.0 portable SSD probably
3.2 if we're lucky
"The 1TB SSD built into the mouse is no slouch, with up to 985MB/s of bandwidth, it's significantly faster than your traditional SATA 3 SSDs which peak at around 550MB/s of bandwidth. It may not be as fast as an NVMe drive, but that is the trade off for convenience. The XPG Vault comes with a single USB Type C connector which pulls double duty for mouse and the 1TB SSD."
Throw your mouse in a rage and hurt the ssd, good idea
💀💀💀
I think if you rage that hard you have other issues.
samsung old g9 vs LG 38WN95C-W , which ones better
No doubt. I baby my mouse & it's the $20 deathadder.
The g9 is better any day of the week in tht comparison
Rtings tells a bit diff of a story https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/samsung-odyssey-g9-vs-lg-38wn95c-w/14363/14466?usage=3623&threshold=0.10
um
why are 30$ headset better than the audio in a 1000$ tv
because one's a headset and one's a TV
People buy headsets for audio people dont buy TVs or audio
why? are you paying for the speakers when buying tv?
price?
Tvs are made so thin.
they dont have much space to jam in that audio
I'd take a heavier tv for decent speakers
No price yet. It's just a concept
i bet it be like 200 dollars
leopold fc980m mx clear/browns
or a
tom980 gat pro yellow custom build
For tvs its kind of a given that you get a soundbar or speakers with it
Unless you're in a really tiny and good room for sound not getting speakers or a soundbar should be considered a war crime
At my place i just use headphones a lot
🤔 bose bose bose...
i wanted to get another qc 35 but apparently theres qc 45 now and im watching reviews that seem to just say get the 700 series bose giving me a headache
does anyone have an idea of a good budget facecam that wouldn't be too laggy and would be good for youtube/twitch?
I forgor the model names but Logitech is supposed to make good stuff
C920x and C922x I think
is 99 for hyperx quadcast a good deal?
wouldnt recommend the quadcast much as a microphone. if youre doing streaming/recording itd be better to go for a elgato wave:1 instead. if you just want a mic just to talk to other people, theres other mics that are fine like a fifine mic
if it has the option to, change the polar pattern of the mic and/or adjust the volume of the microphone
could also get voicemeeter or something similar and put a noise gate on it to help try and cut stuff out
or try rtx voice if youre able to
Thats something i tried and ive always had the problem in discord where it cuts in and out
the voicemeeter
have to mess with it and fine tune it but its also a problem on discords end with their software with their noise gates and stuff that you need to disable
turn off discords noise gate and noise suppression stuff
should i do the banana or regular, i did banana last time
i use banana, but the normal one and banana both work
is AUX VAIO the right things
for your audio output, you want it on "voicemeeter input"
so like to listen to your youtube videos and stuff
And for output is it, the VAIO or AUX VAIO
So for discord what do i set it to
for your audio out, so you can hear people talking, you want it as "voicemeeter input", not the aux one. for people to hear you on the Input Device section for your microphone, once you set up your microphone in voicemeeter, have it set to "voicemeeter output"
Ya idk, it still cuts out when I test it in the discord
what do you have your noise gate set to on voicemeeter? and did you turn off the noisegates and noise suppression in discord?
Noisegate is at 0 and i set everything to off in the discord settings
you want these turned off
In voicemeeter my voice comes through crystal clear but in discord it cuts in and out
All the way to right
thats why
move it to the left
not all the way to the left though
otherwise noise will be able to make it through
It still does that
I used voicemeeter for a year or two, and it never had any problems and then it randomly started doing that so i never did it again. And that was on my old pc i had the issue and i still have the same issue on my new pc.
honestly not to sure whats wrong unless you have some other software in the background thats messing with the mic through discord
can someone recommend me a good keyboard with brown switches, tkl pls? my budget is 150 cad
im back except this time I'm looking for recommendations for a headphone ~$140 price range.
I'd like open back, and wireless is preferred but not needed.
Anything you guys know of and would recommend? I can go a little over budget if needed. I honestly have no clue of what to get, I'm mostly gaming.
try k612 pro
Nice, $144. What are the pros and cons of them?
any recs for building a keeb without going broke, something small but still full height keys
And do they need a dac/amp?
I’m not that big of an audio guy for just gaming
So if it’s not needed I don’t wanna get one
Just want something comfy and lasting
then yeah should be fine
I thought k612 pro might need a smol amp
How much moners
And do you need arrow keys
Or function keys
i probably need arrow, function keys ehh if it doesn't interfere with trying to enter bios or something its fine without i guess. basically i have 120usd gift but i can put more into it so maybe 200usd ish?
if there is way to make alternative to arrow keys that might be fine too
What’s the cheapest amp
Meizu dongle, $30
I have the apple dongle
Ok
Just follow up before I spend $160
Is there anything cheaper that you think I’d still be fine with
Just if there’s a headphone that cuts a few corners but is a few bucks cheaper
kSCsEvEnTYfIvE
Nice
@west hornet you’re looking at 65% probs with maybe like jwicks or gateron pro yellows
Mistel keycap
The kit though… idk
What y’all think is the best 50 dollar wireless mouse
depending on your hand size but the razer orochi v2 is still $45 i think on amazon
logitech g703 if you want something a bit more ergo is $60 rn on amazon
orochi is on the smaller side
Ok prob going with g703 and what headphones I need one with a longer cord
if the cable is detachable, you can just buy a longer cable. im not too sure how good any extensions are but could try those out as well if you like the headphones you have now.
otherwise youll probably have to wait for someone else in this chat since im not that good with headphones
Oh ok thanks
PC37X or 38X are some of the best under $140. Razer's rep isn't great but I like the $60ish Kraken Ultimate headset
kbd67 lite with gateron pro yellows and some random keycap set maybe
Are these worth it?
No
No
No
can a mic be hurt from gain being too high?
wired Kraken Ultimate was $60 a while back, but PC37X/38X is great for sub-$150.
Yo wassup guys. What wireless & bluetooth headset would yall recommend. I have a budget of up to around 200 more or less.
Hi all ..!!
Can anyone suggest me good wireless routers for home which are good for use with lots of obstructions/walls
I found these online -
TP-Link Wi-Fi 6 Router AX1800
TP-Link WiFi 6 AX1500 Archer AX10
Hi everybody! I have laptop input with usb type-c 3.1 gen2 with 10Gbit speed , is there some adapters to convert it to rj45(output) ? Need to connect 2 pc with 10Gbit speed via rj45
There should be usb-c to ethernet adapters on amazon
anyone wired gaming mouse recommendations? no budget
hd800s
maybe look around ikea
The best wired gaming mouse?
logitech g502, razer viper/mini, g-wolves hati, hyperx pulsefire haste, pulsar xlite, ducky feather, razer death adder, glorious model o/d/-, razer basilisk v3, endgame xm1r, any model from zowie, xtrfy mz1 rail, vaxee zygen np01
these are various sizes and shapes and weights
Leopolds. Less moddability, but it's not like you wouldn't like it stock.
Full height keys?
Like OEM profile?
If you're really set on building one KBD67 lite is in stock
But could go for a leopold
Smh 3 days late
I am still deciding whether i get a new chair or keyboard also
Time goes backwards where I live
get both
Is your chair like messed up
¯_(ツ)_/¯
a new chair can help that and save you a trip to the doctors/ chiropractor, a new keeb wont do that
It won't
Only if you buy GMK keycaps it will
I was going to try to look on used market a bit if there are any decent chair as well
Groupbuys have superpowers because they have enough time to recharge their powers before shipping
i bought new chair when i moved, am happy im using a nice chair instead of the gaming chair i had even though th gaming chair i had i barely spent anything on it
You could do that, but first just walk into like a office depot or staples and sit in whatever you think is comfortable, if you're sure it's good just buy it lmao
Hah
No
My parents thought my chair was expensive at ~150usd until i started looking at budget office chairs which easily went around 300-500usd ._.
it was like $480 or so
Chairs are so pricey
you say that even though youre into audio
I guess chairs can be compared to a mattress
The stuff that is usually comfortable is not cheap
That's why they can't get expensive chair
They used it all up on whatever they bought
I already spent around 2k usd this month

I broke

gib me your money instead so i can spend 2k on pokemon cards
and buy some moondrop arias
Good investment
I only have enough money left for 1 herman miller

Should be enough
get the logitech version so its blue and black instead of just black
Then after that you're completely broke
Lol but i dont want to spend 1k+ on a chair
be like me and spend roughly $350 on a chair instead
"Sensible" spending
I shall take nap and ponder this
Alr
no, impulse buy now
if you ponder on it, youll always ponder on it and continue thinking
next thing you know, its already 2023
Buy a frog
Where did 2022 go?
Yeah buy now so they'll arrive at the end of your week-long slumber
They said they wanted arrow keys the other day
At that point they might as well go with like a kbd67
impulse buy it right now, ghosty
Makes me feel complete
That sounded wrong
Aren't GMK stabs like trash
Why're they charging more for it
Oh I just realized they can get a layout with arrow keys
Hey guys would u guys recommend the arctis 9? Im tryna find an all around headset which i can use for majority gaming, other sound related things on comouter like editing, and outside use as headphones for my phone(which is why i was Bluetooth). If u guys have any other recommendations be sure to let me know! Thx
If you can live without Bluetooth get something else
Pc38X is popular
Bruh the arctis 9 is $200 💀💀💀
At that point I would just wait for airpod pros to go on sale
- Weight
- You & the seller's location
- The service you payed for (express, economy, priority, etc.)
Ya I guess
Have u heard of the K361 BT i wanna get those now however not sure if it has a mic for gaming.
No mic and yes I’ve heard of them
I would have to get a usb mic right. Would u recommend i get the K361 with a usb mic or another headset. If headset would u only recommend the Pc38x? btw thx for the help man
Can I ask, What the difference between HyperX Coud II, HyperX Cloud Fight and HyperX Cloud Alpha are? Need help decideing which version to get as they are similarly priced
this looks kinda bad ngl
if you want a nice 60% wait til elaine drops the unikorn again
Pc38x vs hyperx cloud pro 2?
PC38x
Why not bt? I can use wire for gaming
Isnt bt and audio quality the same whats the difference?
Are there any Bluetooth headphones u would recommend?
Idk much about bt headphones
bt audio is compressed
that's the problem about it
but i don't really notice myself tbh
used a cheap ass set of wireless earbuds
Me gonna get k371bt to use wired with pc and bluetooth with phone
Thoughts?
Uhhhh
Idk exactly how the interactions are with wireless on a wired system
Might refrain
But idk
But also eh
I wont be using it wireless on my pc
Like the 371 is eh?
I jus dunno how the bt works on wires
Like if the sound is different
Bc bt compresses
I would assume diff even though it’s on wires
Yes but the driver
anyone know any good desks lol
like something i could find on amazon
i dont have an ikea near me
I thought the driver used in both is the same no?
I dunno
Ill buy and let you know then ig
Good morning all..!!
Could anyone suggest good wifi router which would be good for a house with many walls.
pffft wifi routers
but if so there is a mesh system that is pretty decent, i can never remember the name... something by a ubiquiti company
why is it always so hard for me to remember name
are vr games demanding?
Depends the game but in general more demanding because generally higher resolution
But you could get away with a 1070
Opinions on Huawei freebuds 4?
no its not, u can look at reviews on youtube and some complain the BT sounds worse even wired up
Also regarding the topic Would u guys recommend buying wired headphones+ bluetooth adaptor since there are more wired options or simply the Akg N700nc m2 as its already bluetooth.
hi, any recommendations for a wired headset, best performance for price?
my blue yeti stopped working like, the usb is there its just that windows isnt detecting it it says it doesnt recognize it
Drop Sennheiser PC37x, or 38x if similar price.
pc38x still 130$ rn so its a better deal
@queen sigil how much was ur taobao shipping/weight
1100g

it was estimated 980g
thats why it made me pay like 12$ extra
Anyone up ?
Need help related to network/ wifi router suggestion
I can try
!ask
Asus AX58u, 68u, 86u, 88u. AC68u/86u/88u.
oh yeah forgot to say, its like the same rubbery material the normal 67lite cable is made of
but the coil and connectors look nice
for 15$ its pretty solid
I'ma get a dif cable
It's like 40 ish
u still goin for the straight one
Ye ima get a flemo

a lot of og doubleshots sold so i dont got any links for em anymore
there's usually some good cheap ktts or other cheap fun things to buy
the og market is a lot drier than a year ago or something, have to look harder to find good ones or go on xy
Cheap nylon jwk tactile seems interesting
Hey, does anyone here use a stylus?
😄
Thinking of upgrading my keyboard and mouse. I have a razer mamba wireless and razer huntsman elite. Does it worth upgrading to something new and what? I was thinking on Corsair k70 and razer deathadder v2 pro wireless. Occasionally game mostly warzone. Any suggestions?
keyboard wise, you can def do better and better than k70, but mice wise, its all about preference and if your current mice works for you
Thanks, What’s your keyboard recommendation?
What's your budget?
50k
are budget mechanical keyboards slower then expensive mech kbs?
and is a wireless mouse good for gaming?
slower? not sure what you're asking for
1khz is 1khz, actuation distance depends on the switch
and yea they are pretty good nowadays
idek what i mean
i have a mk21 rn
what i mean is can i get better?
its jus some budget kb from amazon
like better for my gaming experience?
oh really cheap keyboards mean you don't get the features you expect from a decent keyboard like I doubt that keyboard is 1000hz or have nkro
thought you were talking about 100$ budget vs 500$ kinda thing
and therefore it would be slower
What budget
100$ or something
want rgb?
sure
womier k87
Good mechanical keyboard 65%
What budget
Around the $100 mark
Womier k68, keychron k6
budget, brand pref, and hand shape?
tryna choose between a gretxa vancer, hati s ace, and model o-
idk about gloros qc on new stuff
not sure about the hump on the hati s ace for ftip
and gretxa has ttc so each has its pros n cons
Bruh asks for brand pref but not hand size 🗿🗿🗿
I would take the O- I’ve heard their qc leveled up
ye i heard the same
i was hoping to find an extreme mouse nerd who knows bout this stuff a lot lol
Keychron C1 Mechanical Keyboard. Tenkeyless Layout. Connects via wired type-c cable and users can hot swap every switch in seconds with the hot-swappable version. Compatible with Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, Linux. Gateron Switches. 15+ RGB Backlight
Sorry, just used a few of the various Razer mice that are actually good. o.g. copperhead & diamondback, and on my 2nd deathadder because the 1st started double clicking on 1 button.
why razer
This good?
i have no idea i am sorry i am not very fluent in the art of peripherals
not gonna spend 4 or 5 times as much for wireless or gimmicks, or 20k dpi and then still set it to 1k-2k dpi. $20-25 for the deathadder essential is a good buy.
Corsair m65
i have it and love it
Ah, that shape/size never worked for me.
I like ambidextrous mice and then the right side is mostly vertical if that makes sense, to pickup easy.
i have a bigger hand so i have to check the shape of every mouse i pick
Been alright for me lately, but wish we could just have a mouse that's hard-set to 2k or 3k dpi instead of 6400+
W/ a size Large glove size, deathadder is nearly perfect for me. It's more the overall mouse shape of some like that Corsair that are awkward for me
i like claw-ish grip
Yeah I use 1200 dpi lately. plus certain games have wacky in-game sensitivity bar
i have a mix between claw and palm grip
I'm mostly palm grip but then to shoot/click faster my fingers are claw-mode, sometimes
8K dpi sensor? Give it a rest mouse companies. It's like the dang display Hz war w/ 360Hz displays
well
lots of dpi is good
as long as you adjust sensitivity accordingly
cause it allows you to do more little movements
i got a 180 hz monitor but i can only change it to 120 any fixes?
some people can deffo run higher dpi better than others. I'm sort of a high sense fps player but 2k dpi is the highest I'd ever run.
Check cable? If hdmi it's gotta be 1 of the newer ones that support that res/refresh rate
checked here already:? and perhaps uninstall then reinstall newest display drivers.
where is that
Nvidia control panel
im amd
6000 series?
your name says 1070 Ti...
does 5000 series amd have DSC
I've never used an ATI/amd gpu so idk what the gfx settings look like.
rx 570 not 5000 series
Maybe a guide on youtube can help you
Hey guys, got my case squared away and should arrive in febuary, I will prolly be ordering an SSD next week, so, I also need a new keyboard, preferably a full-size model, does anyone have any good suggestions?
Leopold fc660m
anyone know's where i can buy keyboard's like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpjFxssMo_g that is hot swappable, has RGB, and does not have like a screen like the one in this video, but is lubed like in this video and sounds this smooth?

Idk bout hot swap tho
Might be able to find a fully built one
So this happened right after I updated origin and I don't know why I am having problems with reciving this unending intel wireless blutooth (r) error. After looking into it more it seems to be a driver error. But after some trouble shooting I can't reinstall the smae driver as many times as I had disabling it and removing the device didn't make it go away. I was going to renable or reinstall it after to see if it just needed to be fixed that way, sometimes technology is weird when it isn't the driver. Edge has no answers that can help with my current problem.
This is the source of what is causing the constant notification sounds to keep bothering me please help
I ran into this issue twice over the past month alone. Basically, my bluetooth driver would malfunction and PC would keep making the sound it makes when you disconnect a device (like a USB) over and over again.
After countless hours of research about how to fix this issue, I came across 5-to-6 solutions:
- First solution is always updating an...
I wonder if I have to do this?
G80 1800 with dmg clones & stock lasered pbt keycaps for $55
Prob the aifei gmk clones since the mods looks nice and is icon + text mod
Whats the recommended specs to run VR?
It varies widely from game to game, and your headset of choice (resolution in particular)
In general, a rtx 2070/3060 or better can handle most games with good settings
Id say 1070 min
neat
If you're using a PC with it, fps in VR is same as fps in any other game, dependent on basically everything in the system
vr is just a pc game with the monitor strapped to your head
theres nothing about it that makes it special or difficult to run other than your perception of it. if you arent getting consistent 90+ fps, you will get a headache
^
What does it mean if a cable is father-father
both sides are male
top is female and bottom is male
thas a male to male
Yay bad translations
have u fixed it?
nope it was false advertisement i belive
hi, wondering if this headset is decent https://www.bestbuy.com/site/razer-kraken-ultimate-chroma-rgb-wired-thx-spatial-audio-gaming-headset-for-pc-classic-black/6391902.p?skuId=6391902
it’s on a half off sale, i believe
@calm cobalt just got it and i love it the mic is pretty ehh but other than that good for sound
no
its comfy but also heavy
the audio is really muddy and the mic is not good
recommendations on a mouse? used to swear by the razer deathadder elite but they seem to crap out too easy, also interested in maybe going wireless, this a good mouse? https://www.newegg.com/p/32K-000W-000H6
which one u have? I have a dvi with 165hz rx570
kraken is a very muddy headset
I've "heard" otherwise w/ mine, maybe got lucky. It was a gift though so I'm using it for now. Not a fan of the lack of noise canceling, but that's open back for ya
Just ordered the Razer viper ultimate wireless
steelseries i wouldnt recommend and also thats a third party seller. razer viper ultimate if its on sale, roccat kone pro air, kain 200 aimo, logitech g703, g502, razer orochi v2
these are all ergo/somewhat ergo aside from the viper ultimate which is an ambi mouse
theres also a wireless deathadder as well
theres multiple deathadders and the naming schemes are a bit weird but theres the deathadder v2 pro and the deathadder v2 x hyperspeed, both pretty decent
if you want more recommendations i can also give more
@neon root I just sent that so it was Newegg lol its cheaper from steel series directly have heard good things. On other hand loved razer but have had 3 mice crap out while taking care of them and when contacting razer they asked me same thing like 10 times I just answered over email then asked for a video and did everything they could to not help.
Might look more at the Logitech I was looking at those
@daring harborhope it turns out, probably would have bought that if I haven't had the bad experience recently, first review on amazon has the same issue i have with my death adder, mouse buttons stop working easily
mine double clicks
Does anyone know what kind of adapter I might need for to have 1 hdmi to 2 hdmi that I use split screen
Alright so after tonight I have decided I need a dang chair, not one from my kitchen. I am 5”11 and 155 pounds, does anyone have any good suggestions where I should look?
The Secretlab Titan intrigued me
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Q9CFf7/aoc-24g2-238-1920x1080-144-hz-monitor-24g2 so they have a new version of the AOC 24G2 is it better or worse and should I still get it if I get the new version or old version
Looks like you linked the old one? From a glance anyway
any recommendations for 1440p 144hz monitor that you recommend

💯
so guys ive been looking for a 1440p 144hz minotr and ive decided on the gigabyte m27q is this a good choice?
okie ty wolfgang
anyone care for a chocolate almond?
Ooh I'd love one!
Crunch crunch
I think they're stale
I like the metallic taste and texture on the inside, the plastic-y shell leaves something to be desired
lol
I have a question, for my so my gpu is 5700xt and cpu 5600x and plan on upgarding my gpu this year. should I get 1440p 144hz or 1080p 144hz
Do other companies beside Corsair have a bagillion different models with same model ?
What do you mean?
Corsair just sucks a bit with everything so
K68 lux, RGB, k70 Rapidfire, k70 Rapidfire mk2, k70 mk2 non Rapidfire. Lol
Well, the judgement for all of them are simple, they all kinda suck, lel
But well, product naming can often be confusing
I feel like keychron naming is pretty simple, C1, C2, Q1, Q2, K1, K2, K4, K6, K8, K12, K14
Keychron? I will have to look them up.
Keychron is fun
I want to try Roccat brand since my favorite streamer uses their mouse and kb
keychron is amazing
He’s Roccat, Turtle Beach, and a whole lot of V.S.M.
i stan keychron
drdisrespectmywife
probs dont buy something all because its what streamers use
alot of them are literally paid to use products
not because they are the best
depends on your budget for the monitor, what fps you want, what games you play
I play open world games, some fps, and sim racing,
Shooter sweat or casual
also do you play comp at all?
Would get 1440p jus for the experience
K
Dunno all that much about that kinds stuff tho
yeah if you have the money go for the m27q
I do have the money just dont want to go over $400 right now
m27q is 300
Just looking for something high ed but does not break the bank
M27Q is like if you turned the word “value” into a monitor
Will a 2070 do okay at 1440p
eh
i wouldnt do it with anything less than a 2070s, but depends what games you play and what settings you want
personally id prefer 1080p higher settings
but its all about preference
games are starting to become more demanding
Yeah I prefer 1080p with high settings
well I guess I am getting M27Q Gaming Monitor then
within my budget and it seems like a great all-around monitor
so, imma try this again, im looking at gaming chairs, am 5,11 and 155 pounds, i liked the Secretlab Omega, does anyone else had suggestions?
i also am looking at GTRacing
Avoid things with "gaming" in the name in general. A good mesh seat office chair is great.
god this Secretlab omega tho, like it looks so great
well, considering im coming from a table chair made of wood, anything is an upgrde

is there like a showroom i can go to for Secretlab or is it just order and roll the dice?
I'd kick my own ass if I always came home to a "gaming chair".
Can probably get a pretty good chair for $200ish, just might have to go plop your cheeks on a few at various stores.
Decent ergo chairs could come around $100-200 lol
Or at leart here the one with minimum features sits around it. For $200+ you should be expecting somewhere more well built than something that's more mass produced
Yeah
So, I looked into the Titan Softweave and the thing that scares me is how stiff people are saying the chair is
Look what I found. Feel like a governor in this sucker
OOF I'm sorry for your loss
If I could recommend a desk
Immerse yourself in gaming fun with the Emulator Battlestation Gaming Desk. A perfect gaming hub or casual home office option. Stay powered up with built-in power outlet, 2 dual USB charging ports and the ease of a wireless device charging pad. Remote controlled multi-colored LED lights optimizes...
I've been using this one, it's great
The wireless charger, 3 USB and outlet all being right there helps a lot with charging everything, has a cup holder, pretty great build quality, RGB strip that can also be a pretty cool desk light
The top shelf is perfect height for my monitors
Just overall a nice desk, I got it from ikea for $170
My desk would make yall cry
Other than how cluttered it is
First off it's two non matching desks put together in an L shape
One black one beige
And the black one is like an inch shorter
So one monitor is slightly offset from the other two
now what is this shift
ergo
LOL THAT RSHIFT
reminds me of keychron's first alice attempt
Two Gs
reminds me of this
I’m not considering a desk upgrade for a while, I really like the one I have rn, but maybe after I move out in a few years, I do have room for a chair tho lol
But yeah mousepads and lighting and that stuff is all for grabs I guess lol
ill keep that desk in mind tho
i regret mine, great for wireless tho. the build quality is actually bad even though it feels good :c
Ah man
Ear pads are torn, they use crappy plastic tabs to hold them, they also dont exactly sound great... prettty heavy
like.
its a V
Better then crappy ones
For context, because i spent so much money on them i went into audiophile land to get a better experience
Picked up a Fiio K5 and some HD6xx's couldnt be happier
Ah nice. I’ve got the pc38x and like them, I guess he’s just a Corsair guy lol
terror to hear
The akg k371bt s are very nice
I also prefer a "normal" desk vs the gamer-esque stuff. Currently using a tilt-able drafting table actually.
Drop PC38x Sennheiser
Oops not wireless, my bad. Edit: haha, friend just needs to not care about wireless. Corsair is only ok for certain parts also.
so ive been looking at chairs all day and am back at Secretlabs lol
only chair that remotely comes close tbh is the Arozzi Vernazza cloth boi
Need help finding compatible blu-ray burners that can burn 100GB M-Discs. Some burners come with one of these discs included so I would think that would guarantee compatibility but the information I'm seeing on the manufacturer's website seems to contradict this. I don't know what to believe, need help.
Some information is contradictory. For example, on the M-Disc website it lists compatible drives for 100GB discs.
This includes the ASUS BW-16D1HT. But according to the ASUS website, this drive only supports "BD-R(SL, M-DISC)". I believe SL means Single Layer (aka 25GB).
i am getting this instead https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-s2721dgf-27-gaming-ips-qhd-freesync-and-g-sync-compatible-monitor-with-hdr-displayport-hdmi-accent-grey/6421624.p?skuId=6421624
Rtings likes it well enough overall.
Is the karlby countertop good?
Was thinking of building a desk and want it to be decently sturdy and saw that the karlby was pretty popular, so I was wondering if using it would be a good choice
aesthetic over function lol
whats your budget
good monitor
i have it
300-350ish usd
Get a butcher block instead
Ah ok
Do you have any recommendations?
how can u mess up stealing a layout
You can get a finished one from home depot
Ah ok thanks
could i work with a bt mouse and a wired kb and do fine? i probably don't need to since i rearranged my mouse on the desk
yeah
any good 2k 144hz monitor?

or uh
that dell thing
21 something
monitor numbers outside of gigabyte are so confusing
Acer dlk;asdsaldiiihhvhvhvvkkvv
viewsonic lol
Their crt names excl haha. My Viewsonic G90F meant Gfx/game, 19", and Flat because it was actually a flat screen. 🤘
They do it on purpose. They have a couple good sub-models and a bunch of bad ones under the same main model number.
Probably a tactic to make people care more about brand over model, because people won't be able to remember the model
viewsonic vx2758-2kp-mhd
@daring zenith opinion on these two? I know they are very different stylistically, I guess it's more of a quality comparison. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XVCP7F5/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_4PKTXNC00E07QTCYW5C6
Just realized I only pasted one link 🤦https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CNC7817/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_HZXQ40KPT3J6ZBS2VAB7?psc=1
id go with the c1 over the first one unless you seriously want that aesthetic of the typwriter which you could probably just find keycaps for
rk though has some decent boards and you can probably find one of their other models around the $50 range
Thanks! I figured the c1 was better quality but the typewriter thing looked really cool. Also wanted a smaller board.
rk has some 60% boards around like the $50~$60 range. think one of their boards can drop down to like $40 about but it doesnt have rgb or hotswappable switches and i think it only comes in white
dang glacier posted 3 pics for 2022 aready that's 2 more than 2021 for the entire year
coming in with the fire https://www.instagram.com/p/CYeqmIQviUt/?utm_medium=copy_link
nachos you hear about xiami caps ?
what about them
do you own any of his stuff
debating if its worth paying western tax for em bc theres a drop for em n like 20 min
I want a glacier but it’s expensive
im trying to hit endgame with tkl
i got two boards in mind rn that could prob get me there
@late obsidian I have a real typewriter 🙃
Anyone got recommendations for a white / red 60% keyboard. Budget up to 180$. Don’t really care what switches
What size do you want?
I wouldn’t say don’t care about switches since someone could recommend box jades and your family wouldn’t be able to sleep, even your neighbours
60%
Sk61 with optical reds is nice
You would prolly want to swap the stabs tho
They don’t sound very nice stock
They wobble a little bit
Nothing is wrong with optical
Opticals bad
You bad 😳
😢
Prob enough to either get a varmillo board with white/red or get Leopold board and maybe get aftermarket white/red keycaps
The reason why I said no preference on switches because for one his setup is in the garage and two he’s new to pc gaming so he hasn’t had a chance to form his own opinion on switches yet
Looking for a recommended mouse pad for gaming, any recommendations?
Look at pinned messwges or tbh just buy one from omnitype if your desk allows a deskmat as big as it. Should look nice, big, and clean.
(and not look nice with gamer board, therefore being a reason to buy a nice mech keeb like leopold
)
on the cheaper end, razer strider, odin infinity, aqua control+ or aqua control II are ones i recommend as they all are around the $30 mark unless you opt for bigger sizes. if you need/want something else thats slower or faster then opt for the pins
is this a good headset?
i wanna go wireless, but i also wanna know if you can use wireless headsets with the gen 1 xbox one
ping if reply
too expensive..now realizing that kaira is $100…i’ll buy one later
the pc37 is also ugly imo
function > aesthetics
yea but i don’t want an ugly headset
i’m not looking for something super expensive, i just want something with good mic quality, and wireless
i wanna know if the kaira is GOOD, i don’t want a suggestion to get a different headset
theyre meh
i also wanna upgrade bc my current headset, razer kraken, it has an issue where audio fades in the left ear when volume goes down
what r good wireless headsets for under 100 dollars?
even 100 is expensive
i dont know much about headsets and with a tighter budget of under $100, id just wait for someone else to come chat to see if they have any suggestions or just stick to a wired headset
low budget + wireless normally doesnt work when it comes to headphones let alone a headset
i have like 300 dollars bht my mom is only letting me spend 150 of it, and i wanna get some other stuff too so i can’t spend too much on a headset
No
Wireless + good + cheap is not a thing
well ima have to wait then
for this reason
I would just go wired
Yay parents controlling money. That's why I moved out asap.
HyperX Cloud II
i’m 13 and she wants me to save which is valid but i wanna spend what i want 😭
Isn’t gonna win any awards but works well
I haven't heard any complaints about quality on discord
Might need to turn up the gain since it uses default drivers
i’m gonna be using it for xbox mainly
so i can’t do that i don’t think
is it this?
it’s 69.99
originally 99.99
It's that one yeah. It's both usb and 3.5mm compatible so it'll work on xbox.
is it one of those ones where it’s a wire that like splits intoUSB and 3.5? bc i hate those
Or is it a swappable
It's swappable
oh cool
There's a 3.5mm jack that has an optional usb dac
any good wireless keyboard with touchpad around?
i want to see if i can get one for my dad
i'm considering getting him the low-end one for htpc
but why a touchpad
why would you need a touchpad still
Do fresync moniters work with both amd and nidvia gpus
yes
Nice becaue i want a moiter that can support both, like this one here

Eh, for some reason they don't want the M27Q

Do overlubed switches get better over time as you "break it in?" or does it always stay the same
anything breaks in if you use it but yes it takes longer with lube
think he means will overlube switches become not overlube over time
and the answer is yes but itll take a long time
switches lubed correctly usually need to be relubed in about 3 years or so
yeah i misread that
they'll get better over time but depending on how bad they were overlubed they might still feel sluggish
but speaking about breakin in switches, feel like its not practiced enough
What software can I use to remap my keys for my 60% keyboard?
Like changing Caps Lock to the FN Key and IJKL to Arrow Keys when holding the FN Key
if via compatible, via
which one do i choose for windows 10
exe
ok ty
welp it doesnt seem like its compatible, do you have any other softwares?
dunno, your keyboard software maybe
welp, via op
I didn’t even realize that modem+router combos don’t automatically support voice services (at least that I have or haven’t found). Are there any combos out there that support voice services (specifically for xfinity) or does it require buying a modem with voice and then a separate router?
700 bose hurts my ears just like sony xm4s but
i have turned down the anc to 4/10 and everything fine, so weird how much better stuff sounds compared to the qc 35s like even just discord sounds totally diff
I had the same experience with Sonys xm4s, atm I use sennheiser 400bt’s going out and about and 6xx’s with a fiio k5 at home
very interesting
i've been on the qc 35s since release but i wanted something new, i tried XM4s a few months ago and had to send it back because like the cabin pressure w/e was really bad for me
same type of pain w/ the 700s but like ive turned it down and ive been fine for a few hours, i definitely will try the sennheiser 400bt's though if thats what you use and we got the same sensitive ears
so far my experience is buy something, try it out, return it
im gonna slowly increase the anc on the 700s to see whats manageable for me
any good recomendations on wireless earbuds/headphones/headset (any of the 3 is fine)
i dont really care about sound quality that much, but i dont want it to sound like it is from 1994
whats your budget/price range?
idk under 150 aud
O_O gonna have to wait for someone else, I'm not sure of stuff at that budget
most wireless stuff I've tried is above that
so they dont have anc just decent fit
i think I'll try them anyway, i gotta move away from anc i think 😦
Yeah i cant stand tht weird pressure u get on your ears. Anything at home i use open back.
it is really miserable i cba like 99% of other consumers dont deal with that pain either so i just feel like the only person
its nice to know im not the only one though xD
what is a voice service in modems and routers
if your talking about home phone your provider should deal with that
Moondrop Sparks on hifigo.com seem to be only about 135 aud with shippping
What about the Sennheiser bt350?
Does anyone have the Corsair ST100 RGB headset stand?
i have heard that the skullcandy crushers are good, are they good?
if you like bass and only bass, sure
are they good otherwise
because if they are only bass that is pretty funny but probs not worth 150
its not, you can probably find better headphones at that price range
aight
Pc38x
Is there someone in here with a usb wifi card and a PCIE wifi card? if so, which one would you recommend for gaming?
Decent pcie any day of the week. Overall built different & less throttling/overheating
I'm not familiar w/ that brand or ax200 stuff. I'd probably lean towards the 2 in this pic. Of course gaming is dependent on a decent connection & wifi has tons of variables like maybe walls or appliances.
E t h e r n e t
Is king
is LoFree keyboard good for both coding and gaming?
yikes someone just email me a random huawei monitor saying they will get it for my bday
they must not have heard of
hoi dudes, super stoked my desk mat came, im working on quality of life upgrades to my setup, i need a new keyboard and liked the G910 Logitech but its out of stock. does anyone have advice
What's your budget and do you know what switches you like?
hmm, uh i mean i havent really thought of a budget, i like the full size keyboards as i use the media keys. I was at Best Buy and tried a few switches and the Cherry MX Blue ans Cherry MX Hybrid were my favs
Do you like the sound or the feel of the blues?
sound lol
oh boi
feel is pretty noice too, cant i always switch them out tho?
On hotswap keyboards yes, on like logitech/corsair/razer no
Maybe its Outemu pheonix time
im almost positive the other switch was either a hybrid or a brown
How do you feel about sound like this
https://youtu.be/UBdnmwQYlrQ
Sound test of the Keychron C2 fullsize hotswap RGB mechanical keyboard. Keyboard is completely stock with no modifications other than swapped switches. Switches are stock Outemu Phoenix Clicky 62g. Keycaps are PBT, XDA profile from AliExpress.
That is droq's channel and droq does own that so you could ask him about it if you want
Welp, time for tactiles?
tactiles?
there are so many switch types
i need a refresher
red is the most popular
3 types, Linear, Tactile, Clicky
Reds are linear, browns are tactile, blues are clicky
Tactile is the way for me
You could start off with like a Keychron c2 hotswap with browns
and then go for either like u4t/t1 for tactile, something like outemu pheonix if you want the click
And if tactiles aren't for you, you could always go do like gateron pro yellows for linear
Mr1111 you probably know, what's overall one of the quietest key types? I used a membrane (gasp) keyboard for a long time.
random sound test
https://youtu.be/BUbEGcSq8OM
Back to building the sound test library!
The Gazzew Boba U4 switches are silent tactiles with impressive bumps! This is the only silent tactile I have tried besides Zilents—and I would have to say that I highly prefer these over the zilents.
Might be hard to hear due to the switches being so quiet haha.
Specs:
- Black Aluminum Tofu 65 by KBDF...
my keyboard rn is a membrane and its okay
Razer Tarantula has been 1 of the good ones for me. Kb overall is quality, but eventually a few keys get soft. Plus, backlighting would be nice.
ye i really want customizible lighting
rgb gets annoying imo
Believe it or not I couldn't make it 20 seconds on that video.
-- ah, i wouldn't mind plain white backlit. Rgb is a fad that won't die
lol
Obviously I'll have to be like 2 Ton & checkout all the keyboards at a few stores. Seems quite a few keys just also have a "clack" when they bottom out.
Depends on a lot of things
Could always oring if you really really don't like bottom out sound
the rbg on my keyboard has been off for who knows how many months. for sure not getting rbg on the next kb, just annoying/bothers my eyes
overlube any silent switch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxdeG9CFGO0
That's not too bad there, thnx
finally got my other mouse n
Couldn't get any mouse help so i jus bought two to compare myself lmao
O_O huge
bonkers
i like ur phone case lance
So the Mountian Everest Max. Damn it’s a nice keyboard and I love it, but it’s so damn expensive.
are they wireless?
Nope
Yo I’m looking for a tkl keyboard, also I was thinking about getting Logitech g pro wireless mouse, and also a blue yeti mic
[IC] GMK Grìseann 2
needa normalize jus releasing alt alphas
Is it weird I prefer a razor mamba over a razor viper ultimate lol
Fake
Is there a way to make closed-back headphones not heat up your ears so much without losing sound? I've just been using the Headphones over Hoodie method but it kinda loses a good amount of quality
probably because you palm or claw grip
reg viper shape is lowkey p wonky, not really good for any grip besides ftip but even then its a bit too large imo
there might be some cooling pads for your headphones
i mean numpad has sublegends and mods are different too (also purse caps lock
ye thats tru, but itd still be cool to see some wob alt alphas be made
fingertip, i find my pinky slapping agaist the mousepad with viper ult
also the higher weight feels nicer for me idk y
ahh
ive been trying to go higher mouse weight, higher sens and it feels much better for me idk y
everyone i tell about it thinks im nuts
All preference
its also my first mouse thats over 10 bucks ive ever used so maybe i just got use to it xD
i used it from 2013-2019 xD
ty btw, just wondering bc all my friends call me nuts bc i play a lot of competative games and they say get a lighter mouse all the time
If you're hitting your shots that's all that matters
🤣 👍
And high sens players are cracked lol
I have friend who plays at like 1600dpi on valorant
They flick across the screen at light speed and 1 tap
im playing 800 dpi at 0.64 on valorant rn
I play on same dpi at .48
I should prob drop mine but idk lmao, been tryin to play a bit higher sens
Are the Sennheiser bt350's any good?
PURSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
i love purse
only one I know on amazon is akko cs ocean blues, pretty meh switch though, not that good, but its cheap
Zeal sells on Amazon
Are the Sennheiser BT 350s any good?
Or are there any other wireless headphone alternatives that are better for $150 aud
I like my sennheiser 400bt’s weirdly good sound stage for in ear bt
dang, i dont have any recommendations other than those two
Durock T1s are on Amazon but they have a clear smoky housing
is the basikisk v3 a good mouse?
yes however if you want something of similar shape and want to be able to adjust the weight a bit, id recommend going with a logitech g502
a bit cheaper as well when on sale but if you do want a razer mouse instead, the basilisk is still a good choice
basilisk is cheaper where i live
See if akko jelly blue is also available on amazon
Think it's more tactile than the cs tactiles
finally getting around to trying a full plate in this board
