defo try em
before you pick
also i would defo try to get a wood bow, can probably fit one into budget of $1500
$200-300 on a decent bow is worth for sure
for learning its doesnt matter too much if you don't know how to hold the bow
~~brass
~~
I don't have the lung power to play anything brass related
yes there is but the only noise that comes out is a tiny spike when i press the mute button on and off
That's the model with the removable mic, right?
yes
Try pulling it out and putting it back in a few times
Nice
does anybody here play oboe
My middle school music teacher did and thats all I know
well that's not very helpful
yeah ik
was thinking about borrowing one from school and learning it for fun but double reeds are scary
There has to be someone in this server who can help you
but not here
and not rn
lol
a know a few friends that play it and one is very talented but it takes a while for tone quality to be decent and i don't really have time lol
i play low brass imagine
he just decided to learn it for a project a few years ago and now is majoring in oboe performance lmao he's amazing at any instrument he plays really (started on trumpet but plays flute and oboe)
oboe more like double reed clarinet
Well seems like it'll take a lot of time to play properly
not sure how long
what mouse is like the viper mini but wireless but doesnt cost as much as the viper ultimate
i assume youre talking about the deluxe m800
its like an in between of the viper mini and ultimate in terms of size
yeah I've heard that its pretty hard to get good tone quality quickly
yall, i just picked up an SL-Q2, 4 hefty honkin speakers, and a surround sound amp for em for 150usd
practically stole them right from under the old man sellin em
its all in pretty good condition, the tt just needs a bit of cleaning
What speakers are those
Some of those vintage Technics turntables are super epic
I have a pretty epic old Sansui one that I sadly never fixed up
i dunno, they got some weight to em though
also yeah, the SL-Q2 is the whole reason i got it
the speakers and amp were just an added bonus
they better than what i got now lmaoo
yeah, it is, the dude said he put em in a while back
I got a pair of 10" vintage Cerwin Vegas awhile back
refoamed them and gave them to my dad
I used to be pretty huge into vintage Hifi
if i cared about having perfect sound i would use my headphones, im gonna use these for a workshop of sorts once i have one
so the environment alone is probably gonna make em sound like crap lol
also gonna need a new needle, the current one was just coated in dust
and is probably crazy old
Is the basilisk v3 a good mouse?
Cos i want a couple more mouse buttoms then ther is on my g305
And i dont need the wireless
Big Brain play, use Shift and Alt on the 2 side buttons for your mouse. You have just now made nearly infinite mouse buttons
Otherwise not at all
If you're going to buy a heavy mouse, at least make it the G502
I would be inclined to agree
Basilisk nice though
Especially since heavy palm mouse are fundamentally bad at sweaty games
And therefore it probably isn’t as much of a deal
I'm playing the sweatiest of all games right now.
Group Ironman on Oldschool Runescape
Sheesh
One of my buddies is trying to get a new mic under 200 is there any amp out there that can power the shure sm58 for 100?
without the use of a inline preamp
Not sure that the heavy is sold where i live
Watched a video on the orichi v2 will get on cyber monday Black Friday
Not high priority but looks like a worth it upgrade
Probably not. You want a Cloudlifter for the SM58
Just get a Samson Q2U
That's what I figured
i have it and dont regret paying the $70 for it. anything cheaper and its a steal imo
my poor viper ultimate just laying around
my model o- also laying around
im skeptical about it because its their first mouse
I mean, it's a good pixart sensor
I may buy one just for kicks to replace my Model O if I like it enough.
At 40 dollars, it's basically like taking candy from a baby.
also does the sm58 actually require that much power? comparatively to the sm7b because the elgato xlr was able to power the sm7b fine without a cloud lifter unless i missed the part where the reviewer i watched said they used a cloudlifter
mmm. rgb needs to stop on mice
Just turn it off
A surface mount LED takes like, less than a 10th of a gram of weight.
The Scroll Wheel takes up more weight than all of the LEDs combined.
scroll wheel has an actual use tho
and when it comes to superlight mice or youre advertising it as a really light mouse, id rather not with the rgb even if it weighs less than a gram
logitech and final mouse know this which is why they dont put rgb on their light mice and im happy razer did the same for the orochi even though its not advertised to be competing against those type of mice
just realized the mouse feet on the keychron mouse
It's better than the Model O
There's more square footage of pad on the Keychron than the Model O
The entire back has feet on the Keychron
The Model O is just 4 feet, one in each corner.
Honestly, why isn't the entire bottom of every mouse a glide surface?
Just skip having feet entirely
eh. even though its 4 feet theyre at least design in a way to cover a decent amount. the top/front feet is whats getting me for the keychron mouse
Ok, fair enough
having a glide surface vs feet would pose problems assuming you mean just the bottom of the mouse be smooth
replacing them/bad glide surface
Yeah, just make the entire bottom of the mouse be one big foot
Except the sensor obviously.
friction, not all companies are gonna be able to make really good glide surfaces, as i said replacing an entire bottom of a mouse
then you pose the problem of not having enough friction
That's the problem of the person using it.
not really to an extent
I prefer to have as little friction as possible.
I use my thumb and pinky as "stoppers"
ew
Ew? It's pretty easy to do.
also you saying little friction as possible reminding me of a video of a youtuber i watch
yeah u have seen lame "fast" mousepads but none of them hold a candle to my creation, the fastest mousepad ever no cap

mouse go brrrr
lmao
Ok, that's a bit TOO fast.
Like, I'm not expecting someone to use a Shidenkai (is that how it's spelled?) as their daily driver pad.
But, IMO Cloth pads are dumb.
Like, they just wear out too fast.
And they take FOREVER to clean
It was nearly impossible to clean any of the Steelseries pads I had
And, at one point I had one of the RGB wide pads from Razer.
So, no cleaning that.
But, my Glorious elements hard pad is, amazing.
ive had 2 steelseries mouse pads, qck thick's and they took me under 10 minutes to clean both and they were really dirty
like hella dried/dead skin and other dirts/dust
I had a QCK Thick and I was sitting there for like, 30 minutes trying to clean it.
mine were pretty easy. i used to have a rgb razer mouse pad and that took me a bit to clean because i didnt want water to touch the power/cable
didnt throw it in water, just took another cloth and water
scrubbed
have an aqua control+ rn and its holding up fine so far, havent needed to clean it yet
again, depends on what you buy
ive realized that this aqua control+ does not pick up any of my skin vs the qck thick
I will admit, I probably could go for an Artisan hard pad.
my Glorious hard pad has this weird spot in the middle.
Like, as if some of the surface has changed.
well its beads kinda
And if I want to keep using my Model O, I need to replace the skates with the ceramic ones.
Just so I don't have to deal with Skate Wear for like, a couple millenia
would help if you used the correct feet for your mousepad, lol
I mean, the stock skates are virgin PTFE
still eh on a hardpad
god. my gloriuos model o- sits on my desk just in case if for whatever reason my orochi disconnects and it just feels hella weird now
not used to the shape
lol
Okay, realistically how often do you really have to clean a mouse pad?
if you're a clean, normal person
once a year is a formality
realistically once every two ish
I clean mine like every monthish
once a month or 2 if i actually play games on it
Or anytime it gets actually dirty
my steelseries qck thick had for a year and only had to ever clean it once then replaced it with the qck thick xxl and only had to clean that once and its also been a year for that
this mousepad i have now i havent had to clean it yet
Keychain mouse looks cool
keychain
On a side note, friction is independent of surface area as long as you aren't dealing with really small pins that can dig into a soft surface or something like that
Keychain mouse af
I want to get a proper mouse pad but I want to buy keyboard first
aqua control+ is what i have and have been liking it so far. its a nice mousepad to get into better feelling mouse pads? dont know how to describe it but without breaking the bank
$30
razer also released a new mousepad which is actually pretty decent too
good budget mousepads imo:
aqua control+ $30
Razer Strider $30
Odin Infiinity $35
https://us.amazon.com/Aqua-Control-Gaming-Deskmat-Mouse/dp/B092Z9RS7V uhh why is this all in spanish
New color – Aqua Control Plus mouse pad, Black Fly design. Which is same as the AC+ ROB, just the color different. its in english for me
also lethalgaminggear is what i use for some of my stuff, currently theyre out of stock though for aqua control plus pads
There was a settings glitch on Amazon for some reason it set a bunch of people’s language to Spanish, prob need to change the setting
lethalgaming gear also has their own in house mouse pads, the Jupiter is good too, $30 but its on pre-order and wont ship till november
question, are studio headsets bad for gaming? I want to take a look at other options than my sweet sweet Revolver S, but no gaming headsets seem worth it to Me.
well, no OTHER gaming headsets
I’d say they are perfectly fine for gaming beyerdynamics dt 770s have been used by tons of gamers 👀 other people especially in this chat have preferences but generally any high tier headphones will work fine

lol
thats like, one whole 8th of the cost of the entire amp altogether
much sad
help, when using keyboard esc button, it goes to file explorer/thispc
what keeb
logitech k21
.
sad
im assuming this is probs fixed but just hit all ur mod keys
alt, shift, tab etc
might fix it
whats a good mouse pad i should get
depends on your budget but good low budget mouse pads that i know and recommend are
if budget isnt much of an issue then here's a mouse pad tier list from a youtuber i watch but doesnt include every mousepad but a lot of good ones
he does have like 2 meme mouse pads in there just cause but everything else is serious
guess there was no embed/preview but link I sent is a list for mousepads, that's another thing you can look at
i wanna know where those prices are from
in the list you sent or how long ago it was updated cause a artisan hien is not $40 unless theres a shop i know nothing about and need to be pointed towards it
perhaps typo
oh thanks
i think i might get the steelseries qck
id say stick to the steelseries mousepad you have now instead of that playmax
omnitype and taobao deskmats also nice
or the deskmats from some keycap sets if that would have some
Should I build an among us themed keyboard?
The name is accurate tho
can i buy an among us themed keyboard
Prob could buy the keycaps
Yo, anyone got a good recommendation on a Audiophile gaming headset with mic? I have a Senheiser HD 600 headphone and want to find a headset that matches the sound quality of that + a built in mic that’s crystal clear sound
Separate mic and headphone not an option?
like, hd600 is really good if you have a decent amp/dac, I don't think any headsets can achieve that kind of audio
I honestly don’t think there is a headset in existence that can match 600s in sound without being exorbitantly priced
Most headset mics i wouldn’t call crystal clear, is a separate mic or even a modmic an option? Would probably be cheaper than buying a whole new headset
You ain't gonna get HD600 clarity and quality with a Headset. Just buy a Modmic and attach it to your HD600
Anybody know if this headset is good?
Does anyone know where i can find good quality sa profile keycaps
kbdfans has a few options for starters
YMDK for cheap
domikey
not too bad of a take
ok but like
this kid is like the king of bad takes
Q1 bad
Gingko65 bad
jwk bad unless it's jwick
what else
oh yeah the famous "T1s are overpriced" scandal
yikes
the context was stupid though
he used that statement to counter someone saying Lavenders are good
as if they're bad in some way
can someone help me find some good headphones for like 40-50 dollars
What features do you need/want?
audio quality koss's options like the ksc75, kph30i or porta pros, are probably the best option although not everyone likes the looks
I agree
sum earbuds bruh?
i meant like over ear
what ab these
Do like ur40 at least
mm yes case foam
UR40 is the best Koss Over ear
But KSC75 > UR40
And, they aren't earbuds
They sit on your ear
o no
oh no
Bad
welp even so, that alone doesn't do enough
There's slim few headsets that are good
yeah I just hope the Q2 isn't as bad stock as Q1
Q1 wit the revised foam sounds fine tbh
@rigid valve link sound test w revised foam?
not surprised there
GMMK pro didn't have good gaskets and was stuffed with foam
Ye
revised foam?
Yeah i heard about it but forgot
didn't they just gave you more foam?
they revised the amount of foam and the foam they used
oh sorry I meant amount of foam
its probably same material
just thicker
not a tissue paper
iirc the two layers of foam would decrease the flex
slightly less flex better than hollowness for days
tape mod and prob sorbothane or silicone fill does also reduce hollowness & ping while not breaking the flex (or at least mot as much as what two foam layer does)
When I get Q1 I'll see whats best lol
if I should use different foam
or leave it the same
would likely still have ping kek
at least the gaskets actually act like a gasket mount
just tape the pcb or maybe stuff if with cotton with the thin stock foam if cotton/poly-fill would actually decrase the hollowness
is it me or the nixdork u4t sounds similar to normal boba u4t
i mean, q1's gasket is different from what gasket is meant to be. it's just a mount that isolates the plate & pcb from the case
point is to just reduce the vibrations from the plate/pcb to the case
Shhhhhhhhh
at least that's what i know of
if you need foam to fix a board it's probably not a good board
While I don’t disagree
It’s not easy to design a metal case to not need foam
And usually when you do you end up sacrificing something else
then don't make it metal
also the "original" idea for gaskets on early otd and mainly 356mini was to get a better fit with the sandwich case design/plate design with no screws on plate and it would rattle so they use an oring to reduce vibrations a little
356n was the first otd to use a oring but people mainly talk about mini so i don't really know much about the n but from what i've heard it was more to give flex for tactiles (also why it had a 1.2mm cem3 pcb and was the first otd with pc haf plate option)
Can someone help me find a headphone mic setup for $100-$150 at most? I will be using it for gaming, YouTube, and discord
Koss KSC75, Apple USB-C dongle, and Samson Q2U
Thank you
I think l can spend more money
Can someone recommend me a computer mouse for gaming under $100? I have a Razer mouse which seems to be screwed up now… i thought it was an issue through Windows but i switched to my mouse i use for my laptop and it works perfectly fine and i would use this mouse but i have to live between both my parents’ houses so i dont want to have to transport the same mouse between them…
nice
how's it goin boys
Pretty good, got married on the 8th, and I'm at DisneyWorld now. Eating dinner in the Italy pavilion at Epcot
Hmm airpods pro for 180 on amazon
I would probably start with learning basics from youtube videos (key names, reading music) and then invest in a piano teacher
@dire tartan
try to learn some things now and save up for a teacher
as imo having a teacher is the best way to learn
but I don't play instrument so idk
You can get pretty far on just youtube videos if you can't afford a teacher. Another resource you can use is to buy a 15 dollar or less course off of udemy. My dad and I love udemy courses because instead of having to find the things you need to learn on youtube, you get everything in an easy sequential order for like 10-15 bucks
simplypiano
yeah that friend could help you
but theres quite a bit to learn on youtube
In that case I would personally get a course and ask friend to give you suggestions on beginner mistakes like posture, hand shape, etc.
I can spend more money
to learn your music notes pretty quickly, the website musictheory.net or the app tenuto (the app version essentially but its paid) are really useful tools
All these lessons would be useful
The scales and key signatures stuff is kinda helpful to know but not essential
It's actually a very good setup for the price, takes a good bit more money to go beyond that
If l went beyond that what would l end up getting?
Open back, not too sure, closed back, k371+Meizu dongle or Zen dac for the headphone
Q2u is pretty nice in general, next step would be some xlr setup
Can you send me screenshots. And what is a xlr setup. I heard of it before but l never got a good explanation. Do you think l need a xlr setup. If an xlr setup is over $200 then l probably wouldn’t get it
Xlr is the interface
Q2U is a USB mic, but also can be used with xlr
Not too familiar with xlr mics, gotta have to ask ghosty for that
I will bring input in few hours when off of work lol
Do you think l should get an all in one headset or a separate mic and headphone
I have long shift lol, eventually it slow down though
If you like audio quality, separate.
Yes l like audio quality
There's only like 3 decent gaming headsets
And ofc the mic quality can't really compete with standalone mic
Samson q2u
I heard fifine ones are good for the price
Fifine k669 good too, but I'd say same tier as q2u
So l should either get the q2u or the k669 right?
Ye
Ok sounds good
I also need both a keyboard and mouse for under $100 each
And do l need to buy anything else for the mic or headphones to set it up? And do you know a boom arm for my mic
any keychron for keyboard and which mouse grip do you use?
I use palm
What about the gamakay tk68?
It looks good, will match my setup, and sounds pretty good for the price
guys what are the best white headphones preferably bluetooth that look nice
keychron is nice hotswap board
Yeah l know
white + wireless = only real option being spending way too much money on a airpod max tbh
meh, don't really know build quality on gamakay
prelubed stabs can be fun on keychron tho
Doesn’t seem terrible
Deathadder v2 for palm is decent
i think
Forgot to say white mouse and l would like wireless
not sure how good it is, but model d wireless launched not too long ago, but tbf glorious has a reputation for not the greatest qc
razer orochi v2
watching over glorious and having one of their products myself, i can confidently say dont ever buy something that first drops from them and wait for a second batch
I need a dongle for the headphones right? How does that plug in with the headphones?
I like the look of it and it seems better for me and better than the g305
g305 is outdated and expensive for what it is. razer viper lineup is also good and i think only the ultimate has a white version but wouldnt recommend getting the ultimate unless its on sale
Yes l think the same way
i regret buying my g305 for 80 bucks
meizu/apple dongle are just cheap amp/dacs that happen to be dongles basically
I got a G305 for like $40 at Walmart year and a half ago, still working great
Batteries last forever in it
I will probably just get the orochi
im thinking of getting the basilisk v3 as an upgrade to my g305
i wouldnt pick up an orochi if you palm grip
I like the basilisk myself but I think it’s sold out in white
I can try to switch grips if l wanted to
But I’m my opinion it is the best option
i have black everything else and i dont plan on getting new housing for my laptop
so black is fine
actually i got the purple g305 though
Yeah my setup is white
if you can switch to ftip grip then go for it
is cat5e ethernet cable good enough?
like for the 20mbps that i get on a good day :(
Cat 5e is fine
unfortunate
Sara's ban was indeed odd
An admin messaged her showing a message that had nothing wrong in it.
and that was the reason of the ban
sounds like public discord things
both of their first bans were quite odd
especially considering how much they were helpign at the time
sara was legit everywhere helping nonstop
Looking through the deleted stuff that lili wrote... I think the ban is deserving. She really liked to test the filter for starters.

ok now i am off work, so first you need a keyboard obviously, weighted is preferred, but unweighted can be fine to start out, first you would want to learn the notes obviously, I wouldn't put stickers on the keys with the names of the notes like my sister does lol. finding middle c and the pattern of the notes, you also want to know where the C's are on a staff in sheet music to help find other notes. you can start with an easy piece ex: i think i did helicopter ride or star wars as my first piece. having all the fingerings listed in sheet music is important for learning
watching vids on fingering, technique, basic music theory can all help
lots of good resource online
go pay 60$ an hour for piano lessons
definitely familiarize with notes on keyboard, you can take time reading sheet music (which i would recommend vs looking at "tutorials" which is basically the synthesia stuff) but someone should be able to name a note and you find on keys relatively quickly
that ok, my teacher have smol hands too
on some chords only octave reach she still have to roll them
Ayyy bro congratulations on the marriage! Hoping for many great years for ya ❤️
Thanks!
Congrats on the marriage!

p45 is nice budget friendly, roland fp10 is decent but doesn't have real piano sample, yamaha p125 is pretty much golden standard in budget keyboards. I also like some of kawai's options a lot but personally not a fan of the bright sound kawai pianos have, at least for most songs
if you have local music shop they probably have some you can try out
I went to several shops and showrooms before i made a decision
I have no idea what I am going to ask for christmas
First world problems
yep
So far the only idea i have is an Ipad pretty much solely for sheet music purposes
Let them surprise you
Ask for HD800
Used obviously
Letting them choose your gift helps you gauge their perception of you and what they think you’re interested in
I’ve found it very useful in the past
I have found that when I let them surprise me my mom will find something weird that I don't particularly like
Meh
That kind of defeats the sheet music purpose
That does happen
It's not microscopic
The notes are microscopic tho
A lot of my sheet music is bigger than your average letter sized paper
Yeah im thinking ipad classic or ipad air
I think the air is smaller than the classic
Huh, weird
Overall size they are pretty similar or air is smaller but the classic still has the chonker bezels
Other advantage of iPad is procreate if you’re into that
And the new ones are ridiculously strong
Only thing that kinda deters me is that you cant use logic pro on ipad
Even tho its using m1 chip
Wack
Another alternative would be something not techy
Last year I asked for socks but my parents took pity on me and got these really nice thick wool socks
Ignore the fact that it’s never below like 50F here
I mean if you go up to flagstaff for skiing they would be nice
Point being that if you ask for something mundane you may end up getting a quality version of that item
personally id want a bigger screen for sheet music
Yeah Im super jealous of my cello teacher's 12.9" ipad pro
-.-
mfw i have to play hand writted music
hard af to read
like hand written then published
ew
and starts 124bpm cut time
also imagine having to rest 17 bars
This is what I have to play bach suites from because apparently its the "most accurate" bowings
thats what u get for playing bad instrument
band vs orchestra moment?
I hate having to do that
Just copy the bowings into a decent score
Ordered some hyperglide cherry browns

How dare you say they are end game linear switches 😩
yall are unfunny af
I didn’t buy them ironically though
You did say "end game" and "linear" in the same sentence though
Imagine having an interesting part in Cannon

can accept the endgame but the linear browns are hella overused joke
wish ppl hated on tkc stuff as much as browns
ppl clown on mx browns then proceed to buy tangies, bsplits etc
kek
ppl shill bobas for tactiles and dont even know how much a prick gazzew is lol
If bobas are good then bobas are good I mean
I don't get the point of not liking a product just because you think the person who designed it is a jerk
Tangies are meh for me. Nothing really special
ngl though, I don't really see what the issue you have with gazzew is. Sure he's not a happy bunnies and unicorn type of person, but calling him a prick seems more than a bit overdone
Always came across as a pretty reasonable guy to me
maybe a bit overdone but he has really bad takes
sholudl i get viper ultimate or model o wirless
my friend has mow for quite a bit now and he says its perfectly fine
They've really cleaned it up recently
palm'
good to know
is wired an option
It's looking like it might have just been a bad batch for some reason
viper ultimate if its on sale.
glorious only has bad qc issues on first batch of something new they release
second to third batch issues are sorted
my desk is prettey messy no matter what i do so i would rather wireless
alr
oox, kone pro air or pulsar xelite or some
forgot the full name
viper shape is very meh
i mean it doesnt really suit any shape
viper mini is good for ftip
reg viper is too ig if you have larger hands, the hump isnt much so not the best for palm or claw
and it slopes down a lot so that doesnt help
just depends on your hand size since i fingertip the ultimate fairly comfortably
i would only recommend a viper for ftip but even then i feel like there is a lot of better options
really isnt for its mouse bracket
if youre going ergo then yeah but cant compare ergo to ambi really
for ambi theres only so many options that are actually good
yea you only have like 3-4 good options for wireless ergo
Hows the corsair Nightsword RGB?
wouldnt recommend any corsair mice
Alright
Is the Razer Basilisk V3 good then? I have the V2 but have an issue where when im in a fps game sometimes I’ll try to aim and basically it just wont let me aim or it will partially aim then go back to the hip
good ergo shape but havent look much into that mouse to know much on it
Alright
It’s heavy
Thats the main reason im looking into mice btw is that issue… i can fix it but when i fix it it just pops up again out of nowhere a few months down the line
Apart from that I like it
Alright
How long have you had it if you dont mind me asking
The issue i had popped up like maybe half a year after i got it
G602 from Logitech good actually?
Nvm thats $132
Im looking for ones under $100
logitech g502. ole reliable when it comes to ergo heavy mice
can be on sale at times too and theres a wireless version too but its $120 on bb but can go down lower at times
if just an ergo mouse is what youre looking for and dont care so much about weight then theres these too that lance recommended to bagek
Cool thanks yeah i was mainly looking for ones intended for gaming
I’d go for a Roccat Kone Pro. Similar shape to G502 but a lot healthier for your wrist because it’s a lot lighter
should i get the zowie s2
if you were to get anything from zowie, id recommend the s2-c instead of the s2/b
I am in the market for a monitor. Now that I have my computer desk, I can upgrade to 1440p. Current monitor is the MSI Optix MAG24C 24" 1080p@144Hz 1ms VA curved monitor. I have two monitors in mind and cannot decide between them. Both are the Samsung Odyssey G5 monitors, but one is a 27", the other a 32". Both have a 1440p native resolution at 144Hz, both have HDR10 capability, they're both identical in pretty much all their available features, the only difference between them is size and price. The 27" is on sale at Micro Center for $280 while the 32" is going for around $329 at Micro Center. Which one should I get?
27" unless you specifically need the 32" for something but for gaming, going anything higher than 27" is a bit much especially on a curved monitor
Is there any real benefit to HDR at the present time or no?
for gaming, not really unless youre specifically doing some sort of cinematography within games but otherwise its useless
A third one I just looked at is also a 27" made by ASUS, it has a 1500R curve vs a 1000R for the Samsung, it has a contrast ratio of 3000:1 vs the Samsung's 2500:1, and the ASUS one is 1440p@165Hz vs the Samsung's 1440p@144Hz, but the ASUS one is going for $310
Give a price range
Whats mid range for me may not be mid range for you
@cosmic chasm
hello
Hi
😁
max 250 usd
could you please help me
I asked exact budget so someone who knows about audio stuff can help
I dont know about dacs
$250 you know creative & ht omega dacs, right?
best finger tip small size mouse please
midrange is a broad scope
could be $120, could also be $400-500
highly bother getting a leopold mkb imo
120 usd max
is it best
quality wise, perhaps
best quality of course
it is def worth its price tag
at least for prebuilts it's commonly known to have the best quality:price ratio
def the best one to pick with that amount to spend for a prebuilt
it doesn't look gaming!
more like an office key
well it's not a gaming keyboard
this channel def ain't the place to talk to people praising keyboards that valued flashing lights more than anything
any gaming alt
heh
Most "gaming" products are crap
not the person to ask about that topic
Most of them are not high quality
like razer?
steelseries
Razer has some nice mice
😭 😅 😁
Get a Keychron or something
consider listening to decent, unbiased, experienced reviews rather than marketing
thank you
also, leopold is nice if you don't bother having to want wireless
keychron is when you'd like to have wireless and prob have "features" too (which def sacrificed some quality but yeah, it's mostlye $100 so)
i hate wireless
oh well
also the best finger tip small size gaming mouse please
and btw leopold has diff colors other than white on black and biege
not someone that knows mice, but bother measuring your hand so ppl know how small "small" is
hand size: 20 cm and 11 cm
well
rvm
😅
leopold has some of the best keycaps on a prebuilt
has a lot of best for a prebuilt lol
Great double shots
Maybe someone on here can answer this question, Google is not being very helpful with this. I have two laptops, one for work and one for personal use. I am looking for an accurate Docking Station that can use 3-4 monitors and also acts as a KVM switch via USB-C. Do they exist, I see some weird ones on the web but they do not explain well enough how they work. I don’t mind pushing a button or some keystrokes as most KVM switches have had in the past to switch from using 1 laptop to the next. Price is not really an issue either. Thanks!
Unless you have the exact same laptop, a Docking Station is not feasible.
Just buy a KVM Switch
41g
ul2 not even on the list
guys lubing stabs is a gift from god himself
i just lubed all my stabilizers for the first time in my life and it sounds beautiful
like fr sounds amazing
i honestly didn't think it would make that much of a difference but it feels and sounds like what you would imagine the keyboard should sound
im buying two new keyboards over the weekend one for work and one for just gaming
might sell one though
sell both, cop frog tkl or any ck brutalist board
frog drops in like 2 days or some iirc
15th
I want frog but also dont want to be poor
a very hard decision
I think I might wait till hotswap pcb is in stock before making a decision
facebook tkl alil bit cheaper than frog and also hotswap
iirc could come in only case so tkl pcb compat is most likely to be doable
👍
I like it
no way taeha types holy drop panda keyboard
knob and oled screen
i don't like it
cringe bottom row
Ahh yes i would like a average alu 65% build for the price of full frog tkl build
they should of jus done china wkl
guys are the steelseries arctis 7 wireless headphones good?
True
no
meme headphones i believe
what headphones would you recommend then
im looking for some preferably wireless
idfk what are good headphones, ive just heard the arctiss' suck
rip
you gotta pick between wireless or good
What discord server is it on?
Is glacier > frog in your opinion?
doesnt exist yet so hard to say
tbh value wise, i dont think anyone ouside of big companies can beat frog value
geon can price it so cheap bc its all in house
hes barely making profit
This is what you are talking about right
need help
what keyboard should i use for a gaming setup
i want a smaller sized keyboard
yep
like ducky one 2 mini
What budget
hmmm
ahh seems pretty nice cost wise but Ill have to look at glacier too
thought the fbtkl was 250
The weight do be looking nice tho
yea
I basically have to go for either FreeBird level tkl or Frog/Glacier TKL level
A frog would be nice since its shipped within a month but the most expensive option
mrsuit is around the same price as frog
Thats GB tho right?
Can someone explain the pros and cons of a Wired and Wireless mouse and if I should get a light or heavy mouse?
wireless has no cable mess benefit
but yeah you have to charge or replace the batts in em sometimes
as for weight
it's mostly preference tbh
but light is usually better for most people
I currently have a keyboard that sometimes has a double letter issue when only pressing once, and a mouse that sometimes has a double left click issue when only pressing once. Should I replace my keyboard or mouse?
Yes
Both it sounds like
You can try to repair the switch on the mouse if you want to get a little more life from it, but it's not exactly easy
yea i searched online and it involves soldering and stuff
Depends on your brand, but yeah some of them do. Logitech don't, though, and a couple others.
Maybe i should go for a budget mouse and keyboard instead of a single good mouse or a single keyboard
split the quality or so
I'm not the guy to comment on that, I'm using a free keyboard that came with my mom's computer in 2006 from HP.
At least it has volume control and function keys like laptops
Time to reflash
You know what they say, with great power comes great corruption of data, or something like that
yeah already did
the updates is on keebs for all server
There any halfway decent usb keyboards for like 20$?
Lol no
Youd have a better shot looking at a goodwill for a Model M for 20 dollars than you would a cheap but good USB keyboard for 20
Everything at 20 dollars is going to be a membrane board.
And a bad membrane at that.
Membranes aren’t even horrible
Just don’t buy the super low profile ones cause those are mush city
That sucks, I’m used to my laptop keyboard and just flat out can’t handle my clicky desktop one
But I don’t have a lot of money
What would you recommend for a budget friendly full size keyboard?
Closer to 50$, c2 hotswap
How about the MSI GK50 or Cooler Master CK552?
Dell membrane, not a meme
I've used a standard dell keyboard before, it was okay but I wasn't a fan of the feel
So, basically you want a Linear Mechanical switch and not a clicky or tactile mech switch. I'd get a Keychron C2 with Red switches.
@sly warren My elgoto wave one comes today. Thanks for helping my pick it out
I have the wave 3, good mics
You'll have to install a software I believe
Make sure you don't have the mic plugged in when you do
Well I'm speaking from experience lol
It also gives a pop up saying to unplug it if it's plugged in
Oh
Pretty sure I didn't say to buy a Wave One.
Im like, 90% sure I would have told you to buy a Samson Q2U
@sly warren your right it was this guy
ye
Not sure if this counts as a peripheral, but I was wondering if anyone here knows of a good software tool for diagnosing network card issues?
If you're on windows 11 then that's your networking problem
nah still windows 10
only thing i can see is that "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is checked for some reason in device manager
Good
I don't know if anything besides a combination of several things to diagnose network issues
What specific problem are you having?
stutter lag every 15-20 seconds or so then a full crash after like 6 or more stutters that lasts for like 30 seconds
the router is still outputting a signal though cause my tablet is still connected
Open command prompt and run
Ping -t 8.8.8.8
Let it run for a while, what happens will help diagnose.
Doesn't really matter
