At 30 i'd use it.
oh i’m gonna
it was on clearance for some reason
never opened
so it was returned
If a Mic wasn't needed I'd get Koss UR40's at the 30 dollar price range
how much does it regularly go for?
let me check amazon
Whoops 20 dollar discount
Razer's MSRP is 49.99
Just skip out on the "7.1 Surround Sound" mode
what is that
It will make things sound worse.
and how would i even access it
Razer's software.
There should be a code for it in the box.
i’ll still install it for fun
i have that windows smart sound on or whatever it’s called
makes stuff sound better actually
Turn it off
why
It doesn't make stuff sound better.
imo it does
It's snake oil
exactly
I'd much more recommend you get an Apple USB-C to 3.5mm DAC and turn "Smart Sound" off, you should see an even bigger sound improvement for a mere 9 USD
Yes, the Apple Dongle has more power and is a cleaner signal than Motherboard Audio
USB-C to USB-A converter
GG
i already have a headset, it’s a turtle beach and works good but my dad just got me this bc it was on sale
i’ll probably switch to the razer one
Ok, that Razer headset is a definite upgrade to the Turtle Beaches.
Turtle Beach just takes the Bass slider and cranks it up to 900000%
But they are mega cheap lol
Connecting to PC audio out instead of USB
Instead of Single 4 Pole Jack
Not USB
this headset isn’t usb
If you have a Laptop with 1 jack, ignore those.
Those are made for PC's with a separated Stereo Headphone and Microphone jack
ah
Kraken X doesn't have a USB dongle?
If you have 1 jack on your laptop it SHOULD be a Combo Mic+Headphone
It's a 50 dollar headset, the dongle would take up like 90% of the cost.
no i see nothing with usb A or C
i downloaded the software for fun and now i cant hear any sound at all
@sly warren
volume is up
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Did you make sure to set the software as the output device?
I think it creates it's own output device.
there we go
i just didn activate it yet
also why is it when i turn my volume down on the headset the audio starts to go less in left ear and more in right
Hmm that’s weird lol
Reason: Bad word usage
@sly warren what kind of music do you listen to
I've realized I think that what kind of music you listen to also greatly influences preference in gear
I has big variety
the kind of music I listen to is often v-shaped in of itself I'd say and so mid-focused stuff sounds disgusting to me
Listen to this on the x4 for me
it's visual kei
holy crap thats loud
discord plays audio files at 100% by default I think
they sound alright on my cowin e7s
yeah
Ok, now that I have gotten back out of Elite: Dangerous. That song sounds pretty thumpy out of my X4's
Though the high notes and cymbals still sound good.
Is this like, Japanese Metal or something?
My brain is having a hard time classifying it between Hard Rock and Metal.
i think its japanese hard rock
personally not my style
the hardest ill go is like
GnR
don't think, just headbang

so the symbols and s's and t's aren't hurting at all?
Nah
hmm
perhaps the chart is uncompensated or whatever and not fully accurate
idk how that stuff works
although I'm forgetting, on planars a 3.5k dip would actually make it worse, fun fact
hmm.. a bit of a dip
I'd be curious to try them still
@rigid valve oh no im back to the what do i do phase
i didnt realize gat yellows had such a light spring
Pretty sure Gat Yellows have a heavier spring than Reds
actuation force is different than bototm out force?
yeah
wait bottom out is 62g
oh thats probably fine
yeet ill get them then
Kinda glad I got 65% now, makes buying switches much cheaper
Next switch to buy either lavenders or a tactile hmm
nice chill song
@sly warren yea when i have my audio on the headset itself down past a certain point the audio turns down in the left eae
Halo trues are pretty nice tactiles
its what im using rn
Although if i wanted a tactile i think id want fekkers :p
¯_(ツ)_/¯
That's why Surround Sound crap is bad. It messes with the audio too much.
non symmetrical volume is usually a problem with tube amps or in some cases super low impedance stuff
i have the surround off
Eh, that could just be an oddity of that unit. Or your Laptop could be janky.
I'm gonna chalk it up to the Source device since it's a motherboard from a Laptop or Desktop
Get yourself https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MU7E2AM/A/usb-c-to-35-mm-headphone-jack-adapter one of these and a USB-C to USB-A converter and any weird issues should fix themselves, and the audio quality should improve.
It's a mere 9 USD
Sounds like a source issue.
Your Laptop is a Source
The headphone jack is arguably the source but for argument sake let's just say the Laptop
It doesn't need one
Amazon.com: Syntech USB C Female to USB Male Adapter Pack of 3 Type C to USB A Converter Compatible with iPhone 11 12 Pro Max iPad Air Pro Samsung Galaxy S20 etc Space Gray: Electronics
You buy these also
And then voila
what is the usb c adapter for if i dont have usb c port
You have better audio out of any PC you plug that dongle + the adaptor
🤦♂️
Look at the amazon link I sent
usb c just means you can ALSO use it on phones
And then the Apple link
if you have an android
You plug the USB-C to USB-A converter into your PC
this headset isnt usb c
It is 3.5mm
yea
has anyone measured the other random brand usb c plugs I wonder
because I would absolutely love to not give apple a single damn cent if I could help it, and never recommend any of their products
i can plug the usb c to usb a converter into my pc if theres no usb c port, also you cant plug a jack into a jack
You plug the 3.5mm jack, into the dongle, then the Dongle into the USB-C to USB-A converter, and then you plug all of that into your Laptop
yea no im not spending 20 dollars on this
should be $9 the one he linked
9 dollars for the apple one and 8 for the c to a
And?
That will literally fix any problem with your audio
Forever
Till the end of time
Or at least until the circuitry in the Apple Dongle fails.
Whichever comes first.
comes with the 2.0 adapter
It's effectively RTX Voice, but in a Dongle
which if it actually worked as good as rtx voice, would be amazing
but I doubt it does
I'm going to find a non-apple dac
So... Meizu Dongle?
no like for cheaper
So... Apple dongle?
no
i uninstalled the 7.1 surround sound app and the problem stopped
it can't be apple
life is good.,
Those are your 2 options
yknow I might just buy one of those random $10 ones and see how it does
Ok, there's also the Sonata dongle, but... the Meizu Dongle Exists so the Sonata is just outclassed.
bit of a loose braid though
I got it before the Meizu actually.
I'm gonna get a random amazon one and compare it
literally gonna have to test on my desktop though cuz my phone is stchewpid
they are ugly imo, but they show rgb very well i guess
yeah a tiny bit now
Do you have opinions on certain boards
like prebuilts?
i know that keychron pretty good
i would get that and maybe some gateron yellow
if you want smoother heavier switch
yeah reds are probably fine but for smooth id get yellows seperate
probably 23 bucks or so
I have had enough
linears dont have bump
yes
thats what I meant
both gateron reds and yellows are linear
I owned a razer blackwidow x chroma with razer green clicky switches
and they were ew
Im only getting a new one tho cause the w key on the keeb is messed up
and it cancels my sprints in games
I don't exactly know whats wrong but I do know that the switches are soldered on there and I don't know how to solder or have a kit
Can I use this Headset even though my motherboard doesn't have built in Bluetooth? I noticed it had a Blue tooth adapter, but just wanted to be sure though. (The mic in question is the Logitech G733)
pretty sure it connects to the adapter that is included with the headset and not thru bt
Thanks
Amazon.com: Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified Computer Speaker System (Black): Electronics
if anyone is interested
Those types of headsets have a USB Adapter, but the audio quality of them is mediocre at best.
Damn you Lance. Don't tempt me...
any recommendations on gaming mice ,keyboard and headphones
tempting amrite
gonna need your mouse grip type, keyboard preference and budget for each thing
146$ total lets round it up and say 150 exluding headphones
hmmmm
what size do you want the keyboard
do you want hotswap
what your hand size and mouse grip type
meduim and claw or fingertip
and what size do u want the keyboard
i prefer rival 3 over these
the glides itself or the mouse as a whole
i like my rival 3 better lol i might return this
60%
for the layout
now
so ill have to spend some more time with it
i think ill have to lower my sens more
rk61 is $65
razer viper mini is $40
thats a solid combo
id def play with it a bit longer
pretty much budget gamer combo of the year
it took me like one game sesh to get use to the rvu and m800
but i came from a viper mini so the shape was something i was use to
can i drag with the razer viper mini
youre not gonna like drag clicking with razer optical switches
if you use claw grip, youll like the xm1r
hmm
lemme send you a pic
the resemblance is
pretty
similar
Chinese phone do look bad but
whats your grip type?
Ftip
Anyone know good headsets in the ~40 range?
Yeah it's a little weird to ftip this
is the rival 3 more narrow on the edges ?
was looking at the Turtle Beach Recon Spark, but someone said turtle beach headsets are trash
nothing really
headset as in like with mic?
none
i like the narrow shape lol
yeah ill have to try it more
@rigid valve it said 4-7 business days but i guess not pog (kbd67 lite)
i lowkey wish it was a tad bit smaller tbh
oh
i feel like i have more controll with smaller mice
i thought it was going to come on friday or something
my switches will actually probably take more time to get here than board
hmm i need to buy keycaps and tools too
yeah i just need to actually transfer mining money out but bitcoin is so low so i am hesitant to sell
hmmm
wait for a pop
should i buy
i think bitcoin should head back up
if china hadnt announced
the ban thing
we'd be at like 45 by now
id buy eth instead probably
k
eth down harder
thx
50?
i need to build pc tomorrow to buy some more crypto
nope
How much is a reasonable amount to spend?
Preferably yes, however do have a laptop mic
60 for the koss gmr
Oo that looks sweet
thx lance
which one?
oh ok
Thanks @timber ridge and @rigid valve !
np
anytime
is there another option for the mouse and i decided to get the KEMOVE Snowfox
yeah there are other options for the mouse
i just recommended my personal fav
and the kemove snowfox lookin hella overpriced
is there a better 60%
Rk61 and Womier K61 probably similar quality
and cheaper
and there are a ton of options for mice
ok
Logitech G305, Razer Viper Mini, and Razer Orochi v2 are the main ones for medium hand claw grip
i need one that i can drag on
Model o nice for dragclicking O.o
yeah if you want to replace them every 3 months lmao
also has really bad quality control too
Roccat mice are nice for drag clicking
my brother has a o its filled with dandruff
lmao
i will just do more chores if its not
p sure you can drag click on any mouse with non optical switches
but i mean you dont neeeeed dragclicking
i do
i really do
i forgot how to speed bridge
Lol
heres the thing though
all i can do now is god bridge
you dont need drag clicking
my combos will disappear
Can try moonwalking
With butterfly
Anyways no mc talk, roccat kain is a good mouse for drag clicking
lol
imagine clicking fast
facts
ok
send me a link
when i saw valorant for the first time i thought it was overwatch
i really should get out more
well i actually aim with those guns and dont just spam click
lmao
except any rpg games
obviously a minecraft player
hmm i actually do click fast
let me see what i get with my laptop
well not compared to minecraft drag clicker
since am not on my pc
plus rip my mouse that fell to the ground and i fell on
i dont even know hwat type it was
all i know its bloody something
noob
hmmmm
lmao
let me pull at macro wait a sec
definitely didnt use autoclicker function in synapse
ive gotten slighty higher making a custom macro on logitech software
like 120 clicks in 5 sec
@rigid valve can u dm or send a link for then Rk61 and Womier K61
@autumn night can u send me a link for the mouse
noob
Think it OOS rn, not sure
can u just send me a link
@timber ridge IM CRYING RN
I WAS SAYING THE PADS ARE BAD RIGHT
I DIDNT TAKE OFF
THE PLASTIC
LMFAO
HOLY CRAP
oman
its so good
i love it
i dont need new pads
jfc i gotta put that in the review or smth
also @timber ridge for some reason the mouse software turns on pointer precision
Just override it
Enhance Pointer Precision Bad
my aim has adapted to pointer precision already
and i dont feel like getting use to it without it
After realizing that it's really just my music that's sibilant and that the zen can isn't very clean, the only real complaints I could give about phoenix are that the pads are a bit small, and I wish the cups had more swivel
get better music smh
anyone got reccomendations for a dac? preferably with a speaker input and or a mic input like the schiit fulla
around $100 + shipping that won't be half the price of the dac
zen is nowhere as clean as topping stuff
Yeah I get it now
def a fun side amp tho
Good for high impedance stuff
interesting thing is that its not even the dac portion
its the amp
i ran both my a50s and zen can thru my e30 and got very dif sound sigs
Yeah I've well and truly figured out dacs basically don't matter
If you're skeptical about whether the iFi AC iPurifier -- or any power conditioner -- actually works, here's some proof that it does. In this video, you'll see me introduce AC noise into my system by plugging in a "powerline internet" device, and then totally eliminate that noise by plugging in an iFi AC iPurifier.
By the way, I bought this wi...
ifi has a lot of products like that
any recommendations for a good membrane keyboards preferable under $200? O_O
200$ is mechanical territory tho
Why u want membrane
well it can be cheaper im just saying that's my budget max
I want a membrane keyboard because of this game I'm playing where I need to press 2 buttons at the same time and the delay is too much with a mech keyboard
There rlly isnt much of a delay. Depending on what switches u get i guess
Mechanical doesn’t add delay tho lol
the best response time I can get is between 2-7ms w/o using spacebar to jump, w/ space bar the delay is like 20-50ms
Mechanical doesn’t add any more delay as compared to membrane tho lol
And you can get switches that are easier to press so theres no problem there either
im just asking here if anyone knows any good membrane kbs im not trying to justify the purchase to my accountant or smth
okay ty I'll try to find smth
There's just no high quality membrane keyboards that we know tbh
And optical switches would have faster response time than membrane switches
The Schiit Fulla or Hel are your 2 options. You are better off getting a separate Microphone if you want to increase the quality of your headphone DAC and Amp setup. Which at that point you would want to buy a Schiit Modi and Magni stack which is 200 bucks.
Also most Headphone Amps don't have Speaker outputs. That's what a Speaker Amp is for.
too much for me, the thing is i can't really buy from their website since the shipping can cost around 20-70usd and for around 20 they aren't reliable for any damages or even a lost package
Welp, then you are SoL
damn, thank you tho
Your next best option is a Meizu Dongle with a Splitter
If you are using 3.5mm jacks for your headphones and mic
Schiit Fulla still isn't a bad idea though, maybe via a separate retailer
someone told me amazon and their website, but amazon doesn't have the fulla
They might sell a few products on Amazon every blue moon
You could also check the Used market.
Also, FedEx would kinda be the people responsible for lost packages, not Schiit, not like they send an employee out to give you the dac lel
But 20-70$ shipping sucks
yep, they don't track nor are responsible for losing the parcel so i'll pass for now, maybe i can find local official retailers here
like facebook or something
Oh, not in US?
nope, sea
Ah
Not sure how international shipping would work, but anyways
FedEx does track packages tho, although not sure about international shipping
here are the prices if i buy from their website to my location
Damn those prices suck
mhm, i can try finding other retailers but i just see them selling headphones and iems
Wow, that blows that Schiit doesn't do UPS shipping.
I wish I could make the drive out to the headquarters and slap down a 1 hunge bill and say "I want a Magni 3 please"
Schitt is locate in California?
Yep
Yeah that would be hilarious
Drive for a day to schitt
Slap down a Big Ben
“Gimme a Fulla”
Drive down to the Schiitr and try some of the dacs they have on display
black with argb ofc
Reason: Bad word usage
anyone?
keychron c1 with gat reds
my keyboard's keys will stop registering sometimes and then i have to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in
can someone help me\
ok @timber ridge i love this mouse
i did some math
and lowered my dpi
the same amount i lowered the weight of my mouse by
proportionally
and now it feels great
black with argb
can anyone link me the mouse finder?
where you just input the measurements and it suggests mice
rocketjumpninja
thx
Custom as in custom case?
Or just like hotswap with lubed switches and keycaps
the best i can get for like 250$
nicee
I would get the kbd67 lite, some lavenders or durock poms, some lube, and some decent keycaps and build yourself, since it’s pretty easy
250 isn’t too high for keeb budget tbh
Pretty budget
Anyone have suggestions for a budget mouse? Budget is around 50 usd more or less
What grip do you have?
Wdym sorry I’m new to this
Is it just fingertips on mouse, fingers and inner knuckles on mouse or entire palm
@vagrant rapids look at this image ^
I’d say I have the muscle claw grip and/or carpal stabilized claw
Maybe viper mini or xm1r
Ok thanks
viper mini and x1mr are completely 2 dif mice
I just saw that both were recommended in previous conversations
i wouldnt recommend the viper mini unless you use ftip or have tiny hands
so
i cant find any of the keyboards in my country's amazon or online websites
nvm i was a dumbass
i cant find the ROCCAT Kain 120
i need it for drag clicking
i do claw and medium hands
are there cheaper alternatives to gmmk pro 75%?
something with the same layout - has f keys, preferrably with spaces in between f keys, and hom-ins-del button
keychron qmk board is coming soon
id avoid the pro and wait for something else
Keychron is dropping something
only real alternative rn is id80 or kbd's kit but keychron got something in the process
glorious really picked like the worse possible pcb
and when some qmk/pcb nerd complained they gave him the hammer
show
bruh
Is that bad because they usually get too loud then?
Hmm
How much is the Phoenix
Ouch
whats the move for the next pair
teaks?
sub bass/bass extension good?
wait what are you running it off ?
zen can?
gg
i miss xbass
its so good
idk how ifi does it
its like pure sub bass
yea it wont
its like iimpossible to replicate
lowkey kinda wanna pick up a zen dac
a50s/e30
my setup is super clean/transparent
bruh
fiio and xduoo bass boost?
wth
is it strictly for eqing?
Does anyone know how to change the colors of something on the b&h site
Audio expensive sadge
like its not a dac combo or anything right
jus for tuning sound sig
actually kinda interesting
150 kinda steep for jus changing sound sig
and it wont match my setup, ima have 3 dif things lol
aesthetically it wont match
but im p sure any other amp will sound better
change color yes
something about ifi's amps arent really "clean"
ez
yea def good for the price
im not sure
its not even distortions, jus doesnt sound as clean as topping when doing a/b comparison
but fr i dont know of a way to change theme
broken ears
kinda tempting ngl
bass boost yuck
haha
i hear things too much, probably most in my head imagination, good time to sleep
yes i awnk t tr yspeakers
i dont hav egood space o for speakre rn
kinda wanna get teaks but i needa pick up a laptop in the near future
so i needa save
am i gonna need it ?
you think it has to do something with biodynamic drivers
how many ohms are the crazy expensive fostex cans
forgot the name
i wanna say th9000 or something
its similar to it
the name of it *
its 25 ohms too apparently
i could be wrong but thats what popped up instantly lmao
Sus
Does anyone know a good black argb keyboard with Red Cherry for less than 100
Bruh
lol no
Cherry reds
Ducky makes good keebs
What size do you want
exactly
What do you guys think is better, Hyperx cloud stinger or Razer BlackShark v2 x ?
what headset would you reccomend for $50 or less?
Uh
that has a mic
alright
Yeah koss headset is 60 I think
which model?
Forget
Will check
Koss GMR Air
thanks so much
Anytime
Turtle beaches
Blackshark seems fineish
Blackshark V2 is "good" but it needs a Meizu or Apple Dongle.
Otherwise it's not good with the dongle Razer provides.
Yes, I own them
Nuggets?
I mean, it's very plain.
anyone know any good headsets
under $100 please
idk anything good... like at all
wym
like a mic
then a headset?
what is this mod mic thing
I always mix up koss products so give me a sec to check
so it’s like a headset along with a stick mic
that i wouod clip onto my mic
bruh i do
idk*
The Koss KPH30i is a direct descendant of the Koss Pro35 and popular Koss KTXPro1. With all-new modern features like an in-line microphone
yes that comes with the mic... correct
ok so
what u recommending
what mod mic am i vuying tho
what
is this thing
what...
Those are on ear rather than over ear though yeah? Not saying that's bad
Ur40 actually neat
Ksc75 or like porta pro would be on ear
I also own ur40, is neat
so looking at the logitech g915 linear version but cant get it on the uk version
Ur40 to me were on ear but ymmv
Get a keychron instead
Gaming keyboards are often pretty meh on quality
koss gmr air
They don't sound the best.
They definitely don't sound as good as UR40
Yeah, and the KSC75 have the same driver as the PortaPro, yet they sound wildly different
The UR40 and KSC75 share a similar sound signature, not identical though.
Even the Openbacks are different to the UR40 sound.
i need mouse help
Hand length: 18.7325
Hand Width: 9.69391
i am trying to decide
what mouse to buy
im using rocket jump ninja
hi guys. Does any1 knw any good HDMI docking stations for laptop to 2 Monitor Output setup? I don't have thunderbolt port. HDMI only. I do have normal type - c ports tho
2 separate, not duplicates
HDMI doesn't extend, only duplicates. You'd need a USB to HDMI adapter to have two separate diplays.
yes
Yep, that's why
it has normal usbs and type-c but no thunderbolt
so usb to hdmi converter?
will it use the dedicated gpu or the integrated intel gpu tho?
Well, whatever port you use has to be hardwired to the DGPU for it to use that. I'd expect it to use the iGPU
Reason: Bad word usage
Also you'd need a USB Port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
so it won't work with normal usb 3.0 or type c 3.2 Gen1 port?
Nope
??????
Ive always known that you need a USB Port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode
Or a Thunderbolt Port
Nope
I guess we've fixed that problem.
Quite a while ago
@gloomy berry i have found one from lenovo website. I m buying from there since i have some lenovo credits in the account. Can I PM you the link and ask if it will work?
how expensive is it?
22.49 It's type c to hdmi 2.0b adapter
Send link, that one may require the DP port. I'm talking USB A adapters like the startech
ok cool. thanks
SOMething like this https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Windows-Compatible-Install-Support/dp/B08XYYSYZH
Buy USB to HDMI Adapter, Full HD 1080P USB to HDMI Cable Video Adapter for Mac and Windows, Compatible with Windows 10/8.1/8/7, Mac OS, Need to Install app (Not Support Linux, Unix, Android, WinXP, Vista): Internal TV Tuner & Capture Cards - Amazon.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases
Requires an app to get it to work
oh
included with the adapter
alright. Thanks.
24.99 is ok. I have $20 from the amazon shopper panel thing so this would cost way cheap
Yeah I checked the one you sent from Lenovo. It's what Skip said. The USB-A ones that require a driver are pretty much Windows universal
It's the USB Type C adapters that get ya
so there wouldn't be one like this with type -c form factor?
No
The Type C needs a Thunderbolt or Displayport Alt since they don't come with drivers
btw this thing would work from a hub too?
I've never tried to use one from a hub, always direct from laptop
Mostly for connecting to a projector
hmm. alright i will buy it and see if this works
hmm. my both type A are occupied atm. So might as well buy a type c to type A hub from my lenovo rewards
and free one of my type A ports
grip type?
what do you guys think about the Hyperx Cloud Alpha Pros?
oh man ogre v2 coming soon™️ https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/723883603918061600/846223509603483658/ApplicationFrameHost_bnFx9jLYVY.png

If you buy a Wii Remote with Wii Motion Plus built-into the Wii Remote then yes.
Yeah.
Not that adding the bottom thing is that bad.
It actually adds enough balance to the wii remote to make it better IMO
@swift lantern I think I'm gonna buy a Qudelix 5K and run a Balanced cable with my HE-X4.
The nice thing is, I'm gonna get a Hart cable which means I get the really nice Interconnect system.
The Q5K is basically a BTR5, with more features and a better battery life.
You recommend it?
It's between that and a ZenDAC
Hip DAC is too bulky
The ZenDAC would be for my desktop, the Q5K for a "use it for everything" device
Less clean?
How?
anyone know of some good mics in the $50 range?
q2u maybe
On the ZenDAC?
Samson Go Mic
Q2U is a bit out of that price range.
ok thank you
@rigid valve
didnt realize that kbd67 lite doesnt come with switch and keycap puller so now i have to buy on amazon
oof
they should be in by the time u get ur switches in
if u order now tht is
Yeah it’s just I’m sad that I’ll have to spend another 5 bucks
When I already spend like 15 bucks on tools
Hello y'all! So suddenly my speakers (Logitech Z313) are really really quiet? The sub sounds fine when the speakers aren't connected to the control pod, also when I plug in headphones into the pod the volume works fine. Also, the subwoofer only plays audible sound when there is nothing connected to the control pod.
Idk if that last part is normal, but the speaker volume issue is new. Like, they were working as intended yesterday. I've tried plugging them into my phone both with and without the control pod but they are still REALLY quiet.
Your phone may just not have enough volume.
The last part should be normal
(the subwoofer only working when the control pod isn't plugged in)
The Crossover could have also died.
If you just want to replace the speakers, I'd get a pair of Klipsch Pro Media speakers
Klipsch has been making speakers since the dawn of time, and they sound kickass. And the ProMedia 2.1 setup is one of the best cheap systems for PC.
Thoughts on redragon mice?
Bad
for the price it gets the job done
But also you could just get the Viper knockoff
It's around the same price and has a good reputation.
im not familiar with viper knockoffs besides what delux offers
but red dragon mice are usually in the 15-25 dollar range
delux is cheaper than the reg viper but more expensive than the viper mini iirc
By roller volume I imagine you mean the volume on the pod? That definitely works.
Thanks! I'll look into it. These speakers were only bought in February they shouldn't have any components die yet.
What's a crossover?
Ah, gotcha. Thanks 😁
what dpi you running it at?
used to play at 700 dpi now im at 600
is the sensor sometimes jittery for you
happens randomly for me when im jus browsing the web or first turn on my pc
I need keeb advice. Kbd67 lite comes with cherry stabs and are prelubed, if I want to lube them myself I should just take them apart and wash with soap and water?
I think the words in brain, not all are typed sometimes
Also it’s stabilizers not switches goodness smh
oh, just the stabilizers? whats wrong with the default lube?
regardless, if you're gonna lube the stabilizers yourself, then yeah, remove the old crap
Idk just heard that you want to tune em, I’ll try them factory lubed first (once switches come
)
Lube stabs and switches for smooth
Alternatively for stabs you might just be able to get away with a holee
All parts but switch and lube have come 😦
And I need to order switch puller I guess too
What's your thoughts on the
Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified
vs Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 BT
vs Logitech Z623/Z625 2.1 ?
r1 lite stabs are really good and might not even need to be relubed
whats a good mouse for no more than 50?
whats your grip type and hand size ?
pinned messages has info on how to find ou t
im more of a foward palm grip and my hand is 18.5 x 10 cm
over budget but vaxee mice are 60
most good mice are around 60 ish
any of vaxee options are fine
if you want a wireless option for a bit more you can get the ninjutso origin
alright thanks i look into it

my switch opener wont work

it unclips one side of the switch but not the other
and i can get the other side

it took a lot lot of pressure on the other side
only issue is
the mouse software is ghetto
and it changes my dpi whenever i plug it in to charge
mine saves
i had to press super hard to open it

u can wipe it off kek
and oh r1 uses cherry stabs
the r2 uses kbdfans screw in iirc
not really a hot take, sounds about right, but I wonder if anyone has any more info on it
I have r2, so screw in
I have a feeling my wallet is not going to like this
Any good headset suggestions? looking for audio quality and comfort as a first, mic should be decent but I don't need anything amazing. Looking at a max price of around 100$
I'd actually recommend getting a separate mic and headphone. it's both cheaper and better quality
Buy a separate mic and headphones.
Headsets have crappy audio
Gotta talk more.
just joined :p
yeah I would but for now I just need the headset, like I said mic quality just needs to be okay, later on I'll probably get a seperate mic
Then skip the headset and just get a separate pair of headphones and mic.
Buy SAMSON Go Mic Portable USB Condenser Microphone for Recording and Streaming on Computers (SAGOMIC): Multipurpose - Amazon.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases
Excellent little mic and it's 10 dollars off
I'd cop that ASAP
What kind of music do you listen to?
Probably their own switches, is it just standard hotswap?
pretty much anything although I prefer my bass so I was looking at the hs60 haptic on amazon
apparently
E-Waste
Amazon.com: Creative Aurvana Live! SE – Over-Ear Headphones with Padded Headband and Leatherette Earpads, Expert-Tuned Foster Drivers, Super X-Fi Certified for Optimized Cinematic Audio Experience: Home Audio & Theater
Buy those if you like Bass
hm alright
Wait for some other opinions. Skiptrace tends to super push his own preferences as absolute fact.
I mean, I haven't said anything that I don't think people would disagree with in this case.
If you'd like to step up to the plate and give your own suggestions.
yeah I'm not gonna buy that straight away I'm just trying to gauge how much trouble it'll be to get a separate mic
Not really a whole lot.
Samson Go is 10 bucks off right now and it's a simple USB connection
It can sit on top of your monitor, or basically wherever you want.
If your budget was closer to 200 bucks, I'd recommend the Samson Q2U which is a more traditional style mic that you can pop onto a Mic Arm
But, regardless of the Headphones you go with, get an Apple USB-C to 3.5mm dongle.
It will sound better than any motherboard 3.5mm output
Especially when you upgrade your GPU
GPUs like to throw off a lot of Electrical Interference, and all of the shielding in the world can't protect the audio components on the motherboard from the 20 and 30 series Nvidia GPUs.
I might already have a USBC to 3.5mm I got with my iphone 7 a few years back now
I doubt it since USB C doesn't exist on an iPhone
You likely have a LIGHTNING to 3.5mm adapter
Lightning =/= USB-C
nevermind yeah it's a lightning
If you had bought an iPad with USB-C then you'd have the dongle.
But, I can definitely say that the Creative Aurvana Live SE is the best Bassy headphone for your budget.
And it isn't Overpowering Bass that makes the rest of the music feel muddy.
You can still hear the rest of the music, but you still have punchy bass.
You have nuked my world view. Got a pair of sanheisers with 3.5mm jacks. Moved to this because I thought it would be better than the Logitech G35 (USB) I had previously.
Yeah, the world moved from Internal Sound Cards to External DACs and Amplifiers.
so I need to get an External DAC
those over the top ones
hold on...
HD800? PC37X? HD6XX? HD560S?
