I mean, you could just start off with a UR40+Meizu dongle
and that'll give you a pretty good experience before making the decision on if you want to invest more on good audio
@tight pulsar thoughts on something like this?
https://www.amazon.com/Lubrication-Mechanical-Keyboard-Aluminum-Instantly/dp/B08JLJZ95Z/
@karmic horizon https://www.ebay.com/itm/BeyerDynamic-DT-770-PRO-Studio-Headphones-80-Ohm-Closed-Dynamic/265095272143
make this dude an offer
onboard audio will drive these fine
that should do a good bit better than ur40+meizu
itll do everything just as good as those, except music
looks decent
ur40 does feel a bit flimsy
well quite flimsy
but it's decent sounding, good compared to other crappy 'gaming' stuff
da hecc
they make a 32 ohm version of these?
i wonder how they compare to the 80
i guess on motherboard audio it wouldnt make a difference
@karmic horizon
these are new, not used as well
Well, is it laptop or desktop onboard?
i mean, that wouldnt change it much
desktop, x570
they both crap
oh, so i should upgrade
Since I believe some relatively good chips like alc1200 can be better than others
yeah, alc 1220 etc
x570 boards should be fine
@karmic horizon Actually, do you believe you can invest 100$ into dac/amp for good audio?
Zen dac would make everything nice
yeah but its just gaming
I mean, that's what I thought until I heard good audio :P
It can also just be an investment they can decide to do after they get that dt770
yea i can
dac is nice for everything
i went from my bluetooth HD4.50, to my dt 990 pro, to my amiron home. in gaming, legit no major differences
ofc, but any music...
hm
im just using steel series artics currently
positional audio just as good
actually
do you think smth like a k371 would have better positional audio or open backs
tbh seige sound always broken so its not like i would notice really
dt770 pro gonna blow those outta the water
new dac or not
I'm debating on whether or not it makes sense for an extra 100$ into dac without any emphasis on music listening
@tight pulsar are there any differences between these two? Different colored stem makes me think they're different..?
https://divinikey.com/collections/tactile-switches/products/durock-t1-tactile-switch
https://www.primekb.com/products/tactile-switches?variant=37327183937699
i do listen to music, just not all the time. i really enjoy house music and chill rhythms
There are different actuation weights required
Durock is 67g
Th eothers are 62-67 otherwise the same
@gloomy berry ye, I was thinking the other with the red stem with 67g spring but
gonna see if nachos has any thoughts
in case the red stem is made by someone other than durock or smth
Open Backs would be better, PC37X also kinda suck at Positional Audio, even with a half decent DAC
smh the positional audio is amazing for me
Everything is too close feeling
its kinda hard for a headphone to be bad at that
Then your ears must be broke
tbh
Even in other games I have problems with PC37X positional audio
UR40's? No problems in Siege
I never had any issues with it
I can hear everything crystal clear
hell, I might play some seg with pc37x, then switch to ur40
Fulla worse than dong
meizu

with pc37x and fulla it's great
Then either your Dong is broke, or something else.
wow almost like people have different tastes in audio equipment
Because my Meizu Dong gets pretty boomy with my Porta Pros
Idk if dong would be better than fulla 2 buf idk i only have
schiit stack, m2, um2
¯_(ツ)_/¯
I have yet to try ur40 in siege for positional audio tho
Schiit Stack > All of those options that you have Ghosty
Dong good for mobile though.
xD
@tight pulsar anyways real question is, are those different switches or the same with different colored stem
so question, gk61 or mz60
Why not Keychron?
Both the GK61 and MZ60 lock you into the weird Gateron Optical ecosystem.
whats so weird with gateron opticals?
You can ONLY use Gateron Opticals on a board built for them.
You can't use anything else.
well i mean im not going to be changing them at all so not a big deal
Whereas if you get a Keychron K6 Hotswap, you can use basically any switch you want.
Nachos gone :(
There's also a full Gateron mech version of gk61 iirc
Then don't buy a friggin hotswap board if you ain't gonna swap the switches.
And also keep in mind price, only keychron C1/c2 close in price
https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-k6-wireless-mechanical-keyboard?variant=31441088839769 This board is arguably better than both the GK61 and MZ60.
Keychron K6 Compact Wireless Mechanical Keyboard. 65% Layout. Wireless or Wired. Users can hot swap every switch in seconds with the hot-swappable version. Compatible with Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, Linux. Optical or Gateron Switches. Connect up to 3 devices. 15+ RGB Backlight
im not buyinh it for the hotswap i just want a 60% mechanical keyboard
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Then just buy a Magicforce 68
Wow, MF68 pricing is weird AF now.
They used to be like, 40 bucks.
@queen sigil do you know if these are the same switch or no
k6 is basically a 65% gk61
alright i bought the dt 770s, you guys sure it will be alright with onboard audio
what
Good lord, why did you even touch Beyer gear
Who told this man Beyer was ok?
I want names
sassyfish
@little crater 😠
afaik it should be basically a k371, except lower impedence?
No.
or am I just being dumb again
It's a crappier K371
Treble Spike, Hole in Mids, No Bass: That's basically every Beyer
okay so cancel order?
Yes.
will do
Let me get you set up real quick for success
1: Location? We’re not trying to dox you, it’s just that some things are more accessible in some parts of the world than they are elsewhere.
2. Budget? Whatever you’re comfortable with.
3. Do you have any source gear? Owning a competent amp/DAC could mean we recommend better equipment for the price.
4. Where are you going to use these, will it be noisy? Changes what type of gear we can recommend.
5. Previous experience? Could help us find something more suited to your preferences.
6. Main types of music you listen to? Could help us find something more suited to your preferences.
Answer those 6 questions
No amp/dac, no need for isolation, but was nice to have, no previous things, onboard audio, no focus on music, mainly gaming
i dont think so
consult nachos
nachos wouldn't answer :(
no
I think nachos got tired of me asking questions
@queen sigil no matter what the second one is, most reviews are on the durock t1 that is sold by divinikey, correct?
- US
- None
- no, onboard, but can upgrade
- in my bedroom, have kids so noise is variant
- just play games and occasionally listen to music
- chill mix on youtube mostly (if i do)
Most suggestions made at the start was based off a 150$ given budget btw.
yea but later stated i really didnt have one
hey no i’m trying to drive
oh alright, answer whenever you're ready
What is your maximum? Like, do you have a max limit of what you are willing to pay?
$250
Alright.
That might be a K371+Zen dac time
XD
Meizu Dongle at best.
uh
XD
I think that's one point we disagree heavily on
Zen with AKG 371 is perfect in that budget
https://www.amazon.com/Meizu-MasterHIFI-Converter-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B08H89VZKQ/ref=sr_1_1 Step 1: Meizu Dongle. This will help to clean up your audio signal (And with a splitter you can plug in a 3.5mm Mic)
AKG 371 still on sale
A feature the Zen DAC doesn't have
Nope
dont care
hes just gaming
wat
And they are bad at that too
It comes with one LOL
he dosent need a ton of fancy audio gear
No, but he can spend less for higher quality than DT 770 Pros
oh well, they have a yeti either way
Exactly
Ah, didn't know that.
who said theyre better?
i didnt buy the yeti, my wife bought it for my bday
Not the worst mic you could be gifted.
Nice!
Do you have a specific type of headphones you prefer?
Or do you just want raw sound quality and spatial audio?
Because there are some kickass IEMs in the ~100 dollar range
IEMs might not be what they want to go into
no not really, i had jvc, seinheisers, turtle beaches, steel series
oh, well i cant answer that question correctly
bruh, he prolly doesnt know
On-Ear, Over-Ear, In Ear Monitor, and Earbud
over ear
Typically we leave out earbuds because they are weird
Hey, don't trash on on-ears for gaming
oh lmao I thought you were asking a open/closed/planar question or something
Porta Pros are the best gaming headphones sub-50 bucks
but
porta pros are good
@sly warren can we agree on K371 as a pretty good option for on-ear closed back headphone?
https://www.amazon.com/AKG-Pro-Audio-Headphones-K361/dp/B07X2LQRCF/ref=sr_1_1 K361: For 100 bucks, you can't really go wrong with K361's
K371's have a weird Bass shelf
Could interfere with hearing footsteps in games.
When explosions are going off
lol
I'm reading K361 is more neutral, that's all
so these are good with onboard audio
If you want something cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/Koss-UR40-Collapsible-Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B00006JILE/ref=sr_1_1 these are downright excellent for gaming. Crystal Clear footstep positioning
No
Get dong
Onboard audio bad
Dong Cheap and good
back to ur40+meizu? xD
That's all that's ever recommended
Well, it'll be a good way to tell if they want to invest more or not
I mean, it's A. Cheap B. Excellent and C. Has crazy good positional audio
Hell, even my KZ ZS10 Pros have good spatial audio out of my Meizu Dong
I'm actually using them with gaming right now.
call me dumb, buts for a phone?
Right now I think i'm going through an IEM phase
I just don't like how meizu sounds to me
The Meizu Dongle isn't just for a phone
Meizu can be used for PC, it's just advertised for phone because usb-c
This thing chooches out POWER
oh cool
It's capable of driving a select few 600 ohm headphones.
If you need to, buy a USB-C Female to USB-A Male converter
It'll work flawlessly
if you dont mind could you link me that converter?
i dont think i have usb-c port
Pick a color
NP
what
no clue what you mean by that
but divinikey is good
what are some good wireless headsets under $150?
I mean the only thing id say would be cloud II wireless
because I got that recommended
from people here
audio on my gf's oculus is going out so I am also kinda looking for a wireless headset
daaaaaaaamn
Is it the speakers in the device? or the headphone jack?
If Headphone Jack, then you are SOL, if speakers, then just wear IEMs or Headphones.
I know the quest 2 has an audio jack on the headset
so just all the newer headsets
And I think the CV1 has one too
CV1?
The first consumer Rift
oh
lmao i forgot those existed
Rift S definitely has a headphone jack though.
Antique
can i have it
also qhat happened to lili
i never got a real reason why she got banned

yes i know that
Ryan
Always advertising for her
Windshields is next I’m sure
???
wait she got banned?
i vouch for her to come back
i havent really talked to her recently bc i havent been on pc, is she doing okay?
hope shes doing okay
also she doesnt like newegg
She likes the server tho
dont you also not like ordering from newegg
and anybody who things newegg>amazon should be put in place
And sometimes prices are better on Wegg
plus lots of people complain about wegg return policy
amazon return policy is insane
Insane-ly good or bad?
@tight pulsar So, do you know if there's a difference between the T1's that's sold by divinikey and prime keyboards?
why would there be a difference
@sharp kindle dif stem colors
the stem colors vary based on spring weight i think
I also don't know the full history behind the switches, and there might be different T1s that aren't made by durock
@sharp kindle divinikeys offers blue stem, 67g. Prime keyboards offer Red stem, 67g/65g/62g, and Gray stem, 67g
huh
i think hes referring to the kbd incident
is the hyperx haste good?
Looks like it's a decent mouse, but bogged down by QC issues that make the Model O Wired a better buy.
let me sleep people
Sleep? It's 8:37AM
hello, I am going to be purchasing the GK61, and I was wondering what gateron switch I should get? I want a switch that's quiet but sounds nice
🤔
If you want quiet, then why TF do you care what it sounds like?
Sounds like you want polar opposite ideas.
because you can't make them completely silenced??
smh
Yes, but why care what it sounds like if it's gonna be barely audible in the first place?
And why are you buying a GK61 in the first place?
When the Keychron K6 exists.
15+ RGB Backlight
maybe because there's an extreme price difference in Canada?
¯_(ツ)_/¯
because even though Its gonna be quiet I don't want it to sound like blues
Then don't buy a clicky switch?
Like, your only option is Linears or Quiet Tactile switches.
Your question makes no sense though.
If the point is not being loud, then that automatically means sound isn't a factor other than "Not Loud"
None of them "sound bad" if they are quiet.
Are you wearing headphones while you are using them? If yes, you probably CANT HEAR THEM ANYWAY!
thank you so much for not helping or answering my question.
And, realistically if you are chasing silence, you want to skip any generic switches.
Boba U4's are where silence is at.
Or Zilents (But Zilents are just expensive Boba U4's)
Did I stutter?
None of them.
And, technically Boba U4's are a gateron switch.
They just aren't made BY gateron
they all aren't the same noise level
you can
If you're up for a little work, lubed browns sound pretty dang good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeP8BClmKk0
Keyboard: Keychron K2
Switches: Gateron Brown
Keycaps: Mario XDA Profile
Lube: No desoldering Super Lube 51010
My Lube Method: https://youtu.be/iT4BZ7477RM
theyre outemu
Actually, most switches that aren't made by Cherry, Kailh, or Otemu are Gateron, even if not directly made BY Gateron.
all bobas are outemu
yep
thank you vintage for actually helping
I thought they were Gateron clones.
I was actually helping.
all gazzew switches are outemu
no you weren't
someone fact check me
I was telling you to skip Gaterons and go for Boba U4's if you are chasing silence.
you didn't answer my questions
No, you didn't
that's not an option for the gk61
XD
Pretty sure the GK61 is Hotswap
sheesh
only optical though right?
the k61 is mech hotswap
Uhh, there's a normal Gat Hotswap IIRC
Then why TF are you buying a GK61?
Don't buy a board to not use a feature it comes with.
because its a decent keyboard?
Magicforce 68 says hello
Then don't buy a board with hotswap
I DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT HAD HOTSWAP
YOU CAN BUY A KEYBOARD TO USE THE KEYBOARD IN GENERAL BUT NOT USE ITS HOTSWAP FEATURE
jeez
actually so unhelpful
But then you aren't using all of the features.
Which then why did you buy the board if not to use all the features.
I DONT NEED TO USE ALL THE FEATURES
How bout you let it go. Getting tired of you treating people like crap and posting just to annoy them.
I'm not posting to annoy people.
Bet
Apparently he doesn't want to hotswap to a new switch but he wants silence.
Which, there's no stock switch on the market that's gonna be quiet.
gk61 doesnt have silents as an option
Even reds are fairly loud.
youre gonn ahave to swap
I was just asking what's the quietest gat switch that comes with the gk61
And none of them are quiet
Bruh
i mean all of them other than blues are bsiaclly the same
they all aren't the same loudness
other than blues htye kind of are
thank you
They actually kinda are.
Reds and Browns effectively sound the same.
Blues are just louder.
Because Clicky
@split snow down the line if you want to use the hotswap function you can get ACTUAL silent switches and pop them in
you dont ahve to but its an option because the gk61 is hotswap
I might eventually, what switch do you recommend?
Orings exist also
unless youre o ring mounting those are crap
Boba U4's are the cheapest good silence focused switch.
or silent alpacas
both are silent
linear
skip trace, I just blocked you cause at this point you're not helping me yoire just frustrating me and annoying me. peace out skip
Boooo, Linear...
@split snow whats your budget for switches
just chill lmao
like 40-50$ cad max
tactile
bobas are over your budget so box silent browns
how much are bobas
per single switch?
yes
65 cents?
yep
how many keys on the gk 61
wait nvm
they might be in budget
cause you only need 61 switches
get 70
45.50 usd
60 CAD
and then there's shipping
F
where do I get them
kk
Linear ftw
+1
@queen sigil back again with questions, looks like divinikey sold out of 205g0 overnight, so I found this thing that comes with 205g0, thoughts?
https://www.amazon.com/Lubricating-Double-Deck-Platform-Mechanical-Lubrication/dp/B08R5L3MNL/
Anyone know some pudding keycaps that work for the classic Corsair K70 keyboard?
iirc Corsair keebs have non-standard bottom row, so need to watch out for that
I saw it’s a common issue that the bottom row isn’t usually compatible
uuh
looks really sketch
Yeah I wasn’t the one who bought the set but they didn’t do research
Thanks
IIrc they sell keycap sets for non standard bottom rows
but they are like around 40$
Apparently this is the size chart for K70
corsair keyboard weird champ
uh
okay maybe not
thats like reallyt not standard
I take that back
holy crap thats dumb
tf is corsair doing
u not wrong
@queen sigil any thoughts on getting 205g0 (or 3203 with some kind of spring lube, preferably 205g0 because lazy), a switch opener, and a brush? Also, would like a lube station, but not a necessity.
lance got a lube station for cheap that came with brushes and a switch opener
i mean i just lube in batches of 10 when i have time so its a waste of money for me
It would be very nice for me not to get lube everywhere
We got a Corsair k70 used that still worked great for like half the price
Only reason we have it
I don't really care about easier to lube or anything
bruh how u bouta manage that
I don't want lube everywhere
I do things even I don't understand
for example
there's thermal paste on the fins of my d15
I don't know when or how it got there
it's there
shaky hands are amazing
my films never go in right
SAME
i should start using tweezers
me when my film falls off when trying to reassemble
wait wtf i thought this was general cat
chat
🗿
well
keeb talk
@queen sigil anyways any ideas on other ways of acquiring those things? Preferably Amazon, because shipping costs
uh
(Divinikey and primekb both out of 205g0)
divinikey
nk
wait for restock
ick

I'm impatient
ur not in the right hobby then
divinikey got cheap shippinh
I know
nk does too
cannonkeys can go suck a fat one
20 dollar shipping for a deskmat
nk?
deskmat shipping is expensive because they heavuy
i paid like 13$ for shipping on my bruhmat
i wish i got the bruhmat

Main reason I'm impatient is because I'm only going to be here for the next week or so
then I'm going to be gone for a few months
:P
those keycaps dont last long and dont feel to good
but if you like how they look go for it
wait nvm dont
that's terrible for pudding keycaps
It’s the only ones I could find that actually don’t have the weird enter button
hyperx pudding key caps on Amazon are like 40$ cad
hmm
And that fit the bottom row
its not rgb thooooo
ya man rgb = more fps
dsa though
tru
they might not like it
dsa feels kinda weird
@daring zenith
Was only looking for pudding keycaps
hm
Gonna throw the whole keyboard away and find one that works
that price+shipping will be interesting
I’m joking lmao
get a keychron
@queen sigil Would anything be wrong with buying the kit off amazon? Mostly because Amazon ships relatively fast, and I could just buy the lube again if it comes with knockoff 205g0 or something..?
i mean the desc of the product doesnt even say it coems with 205
hm
just get the lube from 1up
also, I feel like the 1upkeyboard calculator is being dumb, there's no way it's 0$ tax in IL, but anyways
11$ seems like a lot
how many ml?
3
eh
divinikey is 12$ for 5ml
sad they don't have t1
While I want to buy everything from one place, this might be good nuff
@daring zenith dms
@queen sigil last thing, thoughts on this for brush, switch opener, and a lubing station?
https://www.amazon.com/Acrylic-Double-Deck-Platform-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B08PFD35ZP/
Other than that, I think I'll bite the bullet on 205g0 from 1up, 90 T1s from divinikeys, and whatever the rest from Amazon
Ooh, that's a neat station.
Hmm
Might be worth it to buy that station instead of the individual stuff.
i mean brushes are like 1$ and switch openers are like 2$
and the stem holder is like maybe 4$
Not from Amazon
but from aliexpress
Aliexpress shipping takes eons
I am already set on buying Boba U4T's which ONLY ARE SOLD THROUGH ALIEXPRESS
I'm fine with spending more to save on shipping time if possible
But, 60 USD for 90 switches is damn near theft
I honestly wish I could order JUST the Keychron K2 Hotswap frame.
No Switches
Just the Board and Keycaps
bruh if ur gonna do that might as well get like a kbd67
Okay, I think I'm doing that station then
This board will be like, my board I use to do EVERYTHING
Desktop PC? Wire it up to charge. Home Theatre PC? Wireless to sit on the couch with.
oh yea it's BT so no need to put receivers on everything
why do u need a wireless keyboard exactally
So if I ever work in a place where they use Macs for some ungodly reason, I can just bring my keeb to work.
Because it's useful.
lol yes it is
No, it isn't.
ur getting a keyboard that feels and sounds good
There is no way the KBD67 is worth triple the cost of a K2 Hotswap
lol a kbd67 is a gasket mount
Keebs don't scale linearly with price
And?
k2 is a tray mount
And?
it feels garbage
and sounds garbage
thats why if you are actually into mechanical keyboards you shouldnt get keychron
I really doubt the sound and feel are going to be triple the cost worth.
but if you just like how they look and the layout then you get them
kbd67 is probably a step up, and the price reflects that, but the price also reflects the cost of the hobby
k2 is really tall
I got a k2 hotswap
unless your hands are gonna be floating mid air
ur gonna need to get one of their wrist wrests
just spend money on other stuff before spending money on switches
because if ur getting a keychron and you dont want it to be basically every other gaming keyboard
bruh then why are you upgrading
they like the exact same
No
vint browns or bust
This one sucks because the USB Port is broken
bust
And this isn't Wireless
lame
ye sbut ur paying for basically the same feel and sound
No?
I'm paying for a significantly better board.
no ur not
Also, this doesn't feel bad.
keychrons are all tray mount
also wew used og doubleshot feel so much different than crp
Yeah I am. The Keychron is Wireless and has actual QC
There's no real stiffness I can feel in this board.
can you feel any flex
There's no deck flex.
it is
thats not what i asked
Yes it is.
kbd67 is lightyears better than any traymount
Yeah, but it's not justifiable for it to be 300+ dollars
my case is a solid piece of metal and has flex it does not have deck flex
150? I'd buy a KBD75
Switch Cost + other stuff
My K2 Hotswap total cost will be 186.99
hkgaming keycaps is 40 dollars + any budget switches
and that's with what
And, it's a 75%
so?
youre literally comparing two boards with different form factors what
Boba U4T's, 3ml of 205g0, and that 20 dollar tray
getting used to no function keys
kekw who’s buying the utd boards
i would pay the extra 15 dollars for gasket mount
I already have a Magicforce68 I don't want a tiny board without F Keys
I want Bluetooth + 75%
yeah that's because its not liek VIA/QMK compatable
just because something is gasket mount does not mean it is good
you can have a good tray mount and a bad gasket mount
there's like a certain price point where ur getting the most bang for ur buck
I just need Bluetooth + 75%
and keychron isnt one of those if ur trying to go custom
a $5 dell membrane
yes
And the KBD75 has no Bluetooth option
5$ is good bang for buch
So, it's out of the question
That's a SIXTY SEVEN
just get this
No.
its so much better
No.
but my function keys
I want 75%
gmmk pro
commit 40%
or id80
^
No Bluetooth
god why do you need bluetooth for a keyboard
no my 40% friends are scary
fr
aren't they all
It's useful.
60 is small enough for me
laughs in pain 27
I can literally pick up my keyboard, go to another room and instantly it will pair with another PC and just start working.
60 is nice mix of size and usability
or you can just plug it into the pc
bluetooth mod an id80 then
or a gmmk pro
takes the same amount of time
heck idc
I don't want a wire going across my living room
aviator ez
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
they gonna sound real poop
okay i misspelled that by a lot but whatever
I have people saying U4T's are fine after lube, and now I have people saying they are going to be bad.
Make up your F'ing minds people.
gazzews stuff doesn’t need lube
welcome to keyboards @sly warren
the switches arent bad
for some switches he recommends no lube
im just saying putting them in a tray mount is gonna be bad
Then recommend me a 75% with "gasket mount" and Bluetooth
Because otherwise your suggestions are gonna go in the gutter
get a kbd67 lite and then go be sad that you got a 65%
it has battery
oh u right
65%, It goes in gutter suggestions because not 75%
why tf ar you so picky
Jupiter75

Because, I want the compressed TKL layout that 75% offers. It's my endgame layout.
endgame is a myth
bruh its your endgame layout
then dont get a poop board with it
I want an 1800 or a 75%
Im still here with a kbd67 because its still hands down the best keyboard for the price
I want something that isn't going to literally cost my firstborne child and take ages to ship.
it already happened
Then why TF did you suggest it?
extras
because it fit all of your criteria
he was joking jeez
It can't fit the criteria if I can't BUY IT...
it just had to be gasket mount+bluetooth+75%
r/mm
was that one of the criteria
Obviously!
nachos feeling spicy today
If I can't buy it then I can't get it.
...
...
dot dot dot
Not without being stupid lucky and someone selling their's
am i wrong?
Yes, you are.

no people flip every board
you never know
i flipped a tofu and thats an in stock board
flipping my 5$ dell membrane
someone in glorious disc wanted to scalp a gmmk pro

he got banned
people flipped the nk65 lol
Jesus, someone 5 months ago wanted to sell one for 450 USD shipped
welcome to the hobby
Welcome to Nopesville
a TGR jane went for 5.3k or best offer the other day
some otd boards are 10k+
not surprised
Yeah, I'm gonna have to nope out of this mythical Jupiter75
and thats if somebody is even willing to sell
There's only 5 entries for it on MM, and there's ONE still avalable
For a 2x markup of the original price.
darn if only you didn’t need bluetooth i could of shilled the hex 4b
Maybe boards should start coming with actually useful features like Bluetooth that people use?

Who cares about QMK though? If you just use your keyboard like a normal human being, you wouldn't need to care about QMK crap.
Battery? Who cares?
...
what
im so very confused
I've literally never needed to change a single key function on my keyboard ever.
me too
welp, I'm going to buy the t1 and 205g0 and the lubing station thing
its literally the equivalent of like changing keybinds in a game
And? I just change the keybinds in the game.
I don't change my keyboard to fit the game's original keybinds. I change the keybinds to fit my needs.
thats not-
yes but what if you don't like the position of page up
or you want a keybind for something like print screen
I deal with it?
I already have one?
Oh, right the K2 doesn't have Prnt Screen
¯_(ツ)_/¯
It was handy to have, but I already have a utility I use.
No.
Bluetooth is significantly better than having to dangle a wire across my living room to use my HTPC
blah blah different people different situation one keyboard might work for one person and not another :P
Or my Raspberry Pi
bruh I still dont understand why you need one keyboard for like so many pcs u got
u said u got multiple keyboards
just get a netdot and a few cables
I have 2 keyboards. My Yuunzi and my MF68
Eventually the MF68 will become a showpiece
how many pcs do you have?
4
tf do you do with them
and you have to use your keyboard with your laptop
just use your laptop board
your problem
then get a chiclet for 10 bucks off of lai
No?
ali*
if only you had qmk to remap something to fix it
When I can just buy 1 keyboard that works for all 4.
No, like Shift + Keystroke = literally no input
It's a electrical issue with the hardware.
n-key rollover no work?
Yes.
rip
ur priorities are wack
But Shift + A for example just flat has no input from the keyboard electrically
I've probed it.
u need u4ts but u cant care about how a keyboard sounds and feels
It's weird as F

I mean, I do care about how it sounds.
bruh then dont get a keychron
and ur buying new keycaps correct?
No?
oh no
Why would I?
really thin ABS keycaps
And I care why?
really hollow case
And?
sounds bad
You have done nothing to convince me.
feels bad
All you have done is say words
yes its because ur priorities are really strange
nobody can convince you because of your ignorance

Give me an A/B comparison with Boba U4T's in a Keychron vs another board that has the critera I want that I can actually buy and not have to scrounge for and I might listen to reason.
Otherwise your argument holds no water.
how about this ill just say differences in how a kbd67 and a keychron k2 feels and sounds
nobody is putting u4ts in keychrons
as a side note, wasn't the whole point of u4 was to minimize noise therefore bottom out sound not a concern..?
u4 silenced vs u4t non silenced
hm
kbd67 is not hollow, Deep sounding, and has a fleexible plate and squishy gaskets
K2 is really hollow, sound is really inconsistant, super stiff
That doesn't tell me anything other than you seemingly have a hatred for Keychrons
I want auditory and visual evidence of the "issues" with a Keychron K2 Hotswap
bruh I was the one who first started recommending keychron to people here
vs another "proper" hotswap with BT and 75% layout.
But for someone clearly looking to go into custom keyboards
you kinda dont care at all about anything
u4t is for all the weird people that like long pole switches
besides "it needs bluetooth and 75%"
I'm not trying to go into custom boards.
Because they are Tactile, and sound good and don't literally cost a firstborne child.

listen to some of the NEGATIVE things he says
If I wanted custom shit, I'd sacrifice my firstborne child and build a KBD75 with Zilents V2
the only pros were basically it's cheap
okay well don't pick zeal stuff if you want a reasonable price

yes that's the same link again
Different timestamp
and if you want tactiles just get gateron browns
since you dont care about feel or sound that much
vint brown
My priorities are practical to my use case.
