Hey Guys, I had a monitor question. Today I'm going to put together my new system. 10700KF + RTX 3070.

Obviously a 1440p capable machine. However my question was, would 1080p be possible on a 1440p monitor or would it look screwed up. Reason I'm asking is probably later down the line when the 3070 is starting to age I can squeeze the last juices out of it by going down to 1080p. Or just for games where I'd value fps over visuals.
