If you only are using Apple Devices or a PC, then the Apple USB-C dongle is the cheaper way to go.

do you need one? not necessarily as long as your interface can get it to high enough levels. if you feel you need one the best options are either a cloudlifter or a fethead. fethead is the cheaper option at ~70usd

I can say from personal experience (and so can mr1111) that keychrons are pretty nice for what you're buying

they come with prelubed stabs, decent backlighting, cheap hotswap options

basically prelubed and clipped stabs just make it so like keys like your space and shift key

I'm considering either just getting another pair or maybe switching it up. it was my first pair of "high quality" headsets (more than like an integrated mic gaming headset). More ohms just means you have more of a dampening factor so with the same design you would get less distortion
