The main differences I’ve seen with the nt1 and nt1a is the frequency response, the nt1 is very flat with a slight bump in the highs and the nt1a is more coloured. They do seem pretty similar but to make a decision I think you have to see some comparisons to hear for yourself

Oh and for interfaces and mixer stuff I don’t know a whole lot about but interfaces have the inputs, gain knobs, direct monitoring and such. Mixers with built in interfaces can vary, they do have many similar things as the interfaces but they can also have built in processing for compressors, eq, etc. interfaces with different inputs separate the inputs in software and some mixers mix them into one master for software but some also do separate like a traditional interface

its all preference, but i would recommend heavier switches if you wanna go with linears for typing
