ill take a pic of my hand over mouse
Found pic of you right clicking lance
Eat them vitamins you’ll get them hands
lmao
sheesh bro your hands are massive
does everyone have baby carrots as hands or something?
that is just a regular sized hand
can anyone recommend me a good desktop speaker set thats under $100 USD
@ionic cave look for used studio monitors
generally very good value to be found there
im talking about like speakers like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VAHYTG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
so, a 2.1 setup
yeah
again, go for the used market imo
ight
sometimes, you can get really lucky there and pickup something like the klipsch promedia 2.1 set
and that will blow the living heck out of just about anything else in that segment
alright ill look around for those
70ish used
the pro media @timber ridge ?
is that decent?
dang the shippings $30 no thank you lmao
@amber oracle yea
damn, you US people are lucky :)
where you live naed?
only lucky if youre looking for cheap pro medias lmao
https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-ProMedia-Certified-Computer-Speaker/dp/B000062VUO <- here is a listing for them on amazon @ionic cave
looks like there are some used for $120
almost 30 dollar difference
worth the 5 day wait
yeh
Pay for shipping
one ships from amazon the cheaper one doesnt
if that matters
amazon/prime delivery hasnt damaged any of my orders yet
and ive ordered a bunch of stuff from amazon
cant say the same for ups
i use prime and i order stuff all the time off amazon. and half my PC parts came from amazon and shipped with ups
95% of my stuff comes from a prime delivery man
same

Other Headphones Mentio...
boys should i pull the trigger on these
Bluetooth kb andy
im getting drop alt with kalih box whites
if i buy that kit, ima most likely get cream switches
my current board is a budget outemu hotswap i got a few years ago
might throw in sky switches in it when i upgrade
why creams?
i like the sound of them
i like black inks too, but i heard the switches can be coinflip
how much is gonna be the total for everything
how much is the mouse
the g pro wireless still?
yea
Keycaps are gmk red samurai
Technically i COULD get the keycaps in my budget
But then i have to cut down from 32gb to 16gb
you really dont need 32gb of ram if youre doing pure gaming
Pure gamer here
id recommend picking up some foam if u get the alt
foam
sound dapenner
For?
or however u spell it
yeah
Y tho
foam mod
its for sound
its so ur keeb sounds better
9
its like hard to describe
Ok
but just do it
basically one of the reasons why i dont like the alt is its really hollow and pingy but filling it foam helps a lot
which one tho
you could also get a keeb built from kbd around the same price
yeah what nachos said
just any?
what do you do on pc
honestly any foam/anything dense, neoprene is usually the high quality stuff
unless ur doing intensive rendering or video editing
u wont need it
16 gigs is enough for gaming
I only got 32gb bc of ae
and streaming
Imma video edit sum stuff
and even then, 16 was enough for ae
what type of editing are you gonna do? jus content creating or?
Imma just make like 5 min montages
nah bro
you dont need 32 then
u dont need 32 gigs of ram for that
ok
isnt there a version of the alt without floating keys
Yea
Me get
jus checked and ther is a high profile version
Where
but its 230 oof
yep
alt hipro is a scam even tho its nice
and honestly the drop alt default keycaps are pretty nice
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ffw2RT does this look good?
alt is expensive enough
doubleshot pbt
it is p expensive
you can build a decent keeb for the same price
im not sure how good that psu is
cries in 1660ti and r5 2600
the psu is A tier
ooo
I’ve heard enermax df good
^
On the linus tech tips list
yeah it's top tier
its the best monitor out there
Big ballin bruh 😂 💯
arguably
i personally dont think 500gb is enough on the nvme
benq has some great monitors
youre gonna wanna put more games on it
dude the enw cod is gonna be like 5 petabytes
I mean 5.5 terabytes
:P
oh terabytes
No 1.5 in ssd
oh
And 3tb in hdd
oh then u good
the arctic freezr is really good, but the pump is so ugly lmao
3terabytes right there alone
black cable mods would look nice with that build
dont wanna pay another 130$
why do you have a 30mm fan
oh lmao
gpu
i thought u accidentally selected it or something
imma point it at the bottom and run it so temps better
fe takes air from bottom
so i point fan at it
you can mount fans on the psu shroud in that case?
i doubt it will really help
bruh
lmaoooo
you know there is better options
Its gonna take air intake from front of case
yes
bruh
Not hot glue
still
the sticky thing where its sticky on both sides
i came across it a while back
yeah that’s cool, never actually seen that before lol
Ill get 2 fan one
hopefully thatll save you from glueing stuff to your psu shroud lmao
yea
but they are an amazing case
i can wait tho
when official benchmarks come out?
I dunno, they’re claiming that zen 3 will have better single core
still probaly not
ig it depends
In some cases
Expensive
those are all x models, their base model counterpart should all be 50 dollars cheaper
i doubt it
are you gonna be building before ryzen 5000 benchmarks?
hes waiting
no
yea
hes gonna be waiting a long time
supposedly some early benchmarks were leaked, and it's on par with AMD's announcement
i haven't seen the leaks myself yet though
any1 can help with picking out a mouse?
hand size and mouse grip?
normal and fingertip grip kinda
like the very right side of my palm sits on the mouse
part of the pinkie bone if that makes sense
and i dont plan on spending more than 50 on a mouse
but the the rest of your palm has no contact?
yep
the metacarpophalangeal is the only part taht touches it
otherwise that its all finger tips
what are you using right now?
a budget mouse, its like a symmetrical deathadder
if that gives you an idea
got it like 3 years ago and i need an upgrade lmao
i was looking around and the mamba elite, rival 310, rog gladius II, msi gm30 and a delux m627 mouse caught my eye
those mice are generally too large for fingertip but since you have a weird grip it might work for you
yea my grip is weird lmao
perhaps if you change mice your grip might change to something that fits more natural to the shape of the mouse
hm
do you want something with a similar shape or something entirely different?
im use to that shape, but if a different shape fits well im down for it
tbh I think I have like a backward palm grip now that I think about it
Is g pro wireless fine for claw grip
Is g pro wireless fine for claw grip
@last plinth that shape is designed to be universal for all grip styles
Also can u transition from palm to claw, etc?
its their flagship mouse after all
i transitioned from claw to fingertip
i find that it gives me more ROM
nothing lmao
that depends on u lmao
all pros use different grips
alot in the CSGO scene that uses palm
Endgame XM1 is my suggestion for you @timber ridge
thx
whats your handsize anyway
length
i have 18x9 cm hands and i main the Viper Mini
fingertip
23.368 cm length wise
ok XM1 is too small for you lol
yea, thats from like the beginning of my palm to fingertip
for under 50 bucks try Mira-M
generally budget mice are on the smaller size so tough luck on that
too small
I got it for like 30
23cm is considered large
Rival 3 is ever so slightly bigger than the 203 which is a small mouse
i was supposed to measure from the base of my palm to fingertip right
yes u measured it right
kk
Glorious Model D is an option
under 50 bucks
Mira M has the same shape as the GPW for under 50, but you may find it small
but the shape of that mouse suits with alot of grips
might jus go with a mouse with a similar shape to stay on the safe side since my grip is wonky lol
i just got the mh630 headset and when i plug it in I cant hear anything and the mic isnt working but my old headset worked just fine. any tips?
check microphone input
right click on the sound icon on ur taskbar and click sounds @glad hound
check recording tab
ye the mic shows up but when i try to play it back nothing happens
@timber ridge i have infinite respect for you
you made a gif
out of ambi mice sold on amazon
tf dude
lmao
@glad hound is your headset plugged into your mobo?
if it is check if your mic-input is in the right slot
you may have to download audio drivers
thats why
your headset comes with a split audio jack
one for headphone out and one for mic in
make sure the cable is fully plugged into the headset
and locked if it has a locking mechansm
Yea I locked it ima switch it to the mother board real quick though
Alright i finally got it working thanks for the help
Sorry @brisk parcel, my WH1000XM4s spoiled me... I returned the Outlier Golds for WF1000XM3s I got off eBay (for a bargain, mind you) figure I can sell em for not too much of a loss when the next gen drops
It was the earpieces that did the Creatives for me
There's definitely something about Sony's sound that I like, though they aren't gonna beat my 6XXs anytime soon
i was tempted to try the wf1000xm3s but the design throws me off
hawt other dude built his
retooled blacks?
lol i thought they were vint blacks but just cherry topped gaterons
ooo
@hazy fiber np man 😂 I'm not gonna feel personally hurt about it lmao
everyone's ears are different too, fit in mine perfectly
are the rival 600 good
are the rival 600 good
@timber ridge i had that mouse, the side grip adhesives wore off after a few months
otherwise, good mouse for palm
it has a gimmicky LOD sensor which served me no purpose
i like the shape of it
similar shape to the mouse u have rn
yea, you know anything similar
Zowie EC1
were talking about beyond ur budget here
if u had a budget of over 50 bucks i couldve listed a whiole lot more earlier
yea, gonna bump it up a bit, dont wanna spend money on a mouse i dont like
I have the money, jus tryna budget myself lol
i think the mice im about to list is perfect for 23 cm
mountain makalu 67
g-wolves skoll
zowie ec1
Deathadder V2
Model D
yessir
Zowie sets the bar for shapes imo
everyone is cloning their EC series
and FK series
hm
i remember zowie being v popular for csgo
well, i officially feel really old now :D
because i remember them being new to the market
i will show u the shape comparison of Zowie FK1 vs Model O its literally the same exact shape @amber oracle
I dont recommend any steelseries mouse whatsoever
Model O vs Zowie FK1
the rightclick on my rival 3 is messed up
heh
Compare gaming mice shapes in 1:1 scale.
omegalul
my hand fits perfectly for steelseries
and g pro wireless is bigger
you will have no problems transitioning to GPW shape
it has a generous hump for claw like the Rival 3
gpw has a great shape
didnt think picking a mouse would be this hard lmao
atleast i decided on my keyboard
yeah hes indecisive
and thats an understatement
wait or are you not talking about cntrlkey
talking about myself lmao
i like the rival 600 but apparently the grip coming off is a common issue
oof
this seems really good for the price https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CRR5XV5/ref=emc_b_5_i?th=1
jus gotta decide if i want it in black or white now
@timber ridge heres what i did to my 600
custom grips?
theres no hurt in trying but i will tell you that mouse is very flat
i dont think the hump is generous enough to support ur pinky bone
if you have PURE fingertip the Viper would be perfect
yea im prob gonna go tomorrow
they price match with amazon too so thats nice
the hyperx pulsefire looks p good too
well i have one because i had three power outtages in a row one day and my studio monitors died to a power surge
for most people yes
your money will be better spent elsewhere if you have reliable power
ok
i dont, i live in a rural town
also
have insurance
as in, actual insurance
not the "vendor" one
but actual insurance
is las vegas a good power thingy
your backyard looks like this what u think
my neighborhood's power lines arent even underground, theyre still in poles
I live far from the strip
yes lol
braided cables arent really ideal for FPS games the cable drag can be a hindrance
ill update you guys tomorrow when i try out mice at bestbuy
this is why paracord mods really became popular to fix this issue
I went from a big g602 to viper
I ended up adjusting my grip without realizing, but I like it so oh well
how do you like it?
@hazy fiber np man 😂 I'm not gonna feel personally hurt about it lmao
@brisk parcel I do appreciate the 6XXs a ton tho, can't wait for my amp. I don't think I'll be able to appreciate sub-$100 earbuds after my Sony's lol
i was tempted to try the wf1000xm3s but the design throws me off
@timber ridge They chonky, but I really like em. Great sound and controls and pretty comfortable considering
i main the Viper Mini myself
anything but Fingertip is uncomfortable for me in this mouse
what color should i go with
theres a cheaper version with optical switches but idk how i feel about them
what color fits your setup
@timber ridge white always looks cleaner on black mousepads
Need headphone recommendations please. Budget is about $300 at most but will gladly spend less if there’s a good option under that price. They will be mostly for gaming but also for music. I’m not an audiophile but I can tell good sound from bad. Play mostly FPS games. COD and war zone etc. don’t really care if they’re wired or not... any and all help is greatly appreciated 🙏
@dusky cedar Need headphone or headset? (Need mic or no?) And do you have amp+dac?
No amp+dac although I am very interested in that setup. I have a separate yeti mic
@brisk parcel I'll leave it for ya to look for goodies
Lol thanks
tryna think of good headphones off top of head
I do have Bluetooth but I’ve read good and bad things about using that for sound.
HD600 I think? HD660? DT990 pro? HD58x?
There’s just so many dang options and I don’t know where to start really
I'll leave it to either Sennheiser ninja, Naed, or Dino to gib good stuff
Dont have time to talk rn, but real quick hd58x, hd6xx, dt 770/990 pro to name a few
hey I got 2
:D
The only thing I know is Sennheiser PC37x and PC38x for good gamery headsets
I never want a gaming headset again lol
I mean
Such a marketing thing
They're the kind of "great headsets, but still in the reach/advertising of gamery"
And my pc always wants to switch between my stand alone mic and the headset mic
according to audiophile people here, Z reviews very good for headphones/headsets, here's their thing on pc38x

DROP 58x -----------------...
Sweet man thanks
look through their reviews on the other goodies that ghost sent so far
@dusky cedar oh and btw, Z reviews is kinda like GN, 1.25x speed can be good.
lol good to know. Say no more fam
1.5x seems to be the sweet spot 😆
Those are a lot of the popular headphones at the price range, they are for different tastes so see what you think youll like the most, ninja can probably find you a dac/amp in the price range if you interested, or ofc the apple dongle
what's the thing called
scythe fulla?
think this was the one?
https://www.amazon.com/Schiit-Fulla-Gaming-DAC-Amp/dp/B07ZGJX9Y5
I am schiit simp
Scythe is good coolers
lol
schiit should merge into scythe
schiit+scythe op
@tight pulsar which keyboard is best anne pro 2, gk61, or compact gnmk?
yeah id probably go with gk61
i personally like the anne 2 pro most, the gnmk has floating keys
gives me budget vibes
@timber ridge @tacit wing @brisk parcel
yo guys
Compare Audio-Technica ATH-AD500X vs Philips SHP9500 headphones side-by-side. Based on our rating, both have the same overall rating of 7 out of 10.
these 2
which one is better
@dusky cedar yo?
u want open cans?
whats ur budget
id say the shp9500
ok
Compare Philips Fidelio X2HR vs Philips SHP9500 headphones side-by-side. Based on our rating, SHP9500 has a total rating of 7 out of 10 vs 7.5 for Fidelio X2HR.
which one
this for gaming right?
bc at that price point, you might as well cop some sennheisers
K thx guys
@tight pulsar @timber ridge what switches would u recommend with the gk61
Linear
Which ones r fastest
if you want most fastest
optical
but typically fast switches dont feel so good
silvers dont dont feel so good either and theyre not optical
so there is optical versions of regular switches
so there is normal mechanical reds
then optical reds
essentially the same switch
but one optical one is not
Oh ok then what is like optical yellows
theyre lighter than reds if i remember correctly
well optical switches dont feel so good in general compared to regular switches
Its preference
but if youre okay with that then go for reds or yellows imo
anyone know any good and cheap switch testers, i am looking to build my own mechanical keyboard but i currently have linear red switches and i dont like them
Clicky do feel good but they too loud
jades have a nice click
Mm razer greens are superr loud
Like im typing and my mom comes out of her office cuz she can hear me xD
might cop a 75%
and idk any cheap switch testers but you could jus go to a bestbuy and try out linear, tactile and clicky switches
With box reds
yea those r good
Mm ok thx
that answer was for both of u lmao
blues are actually nice to type on if youre ok with a loud keeb
or any clicky switch
brown are good
llol im used to comact
membrnae
laptop keyboard
@cunning hearth whats ur keyboard budget
and what headphoen u got
Budget? Like around 125 maybe
phillps shp 9500, vmoda boom pro mic, fifine usb studio condser mic, schitt fulla amp+dac endgame
Headphones im gonns get the shp9500+fifine t669
yep
you dont need a vmoda if youre getting a fifine mic
Exactly
amazon basic mic is also really good
huh fr?
yea
so is it as good as vmdoa oom pro
So is the anne pro 2 best keyboard for $120 budget lance
i mean reddragon has pretty decen tkeyboard
im not sure about best but its really good
120 is steep, get it off of newegg
youre gonna save like 30 dollars
No its not actually 120, thats my budget
Hows the build quality is it plastic or metal
120 is your budget, but the board is really only $90
Ah ok
plastic
Oh
most boards are plastic
Gmmk is aluminum
its not as thin looking as the one 2 mini tho imo
and yea, a lot of budget keyboards with floating keys are metal
Mm ok anne pro 2 still looking good. R the keycaps good?
theyre p much your standard stock keycaps
you can switch them out
are you getting the black or white one
nope
Ah that sucks but whatever
i dont think any of the keyboards you mention are hotswap
if you want a real hotswap keeb you can get the kemove snowfox i think
a lot of budget hotswap keebs are either outemu hot swap only or optical hotswap only
@sharp kindle is there any other keyboards like the drop alt
Theres a lot of problems with it and its 180$
:P
a hotswap tkl?
i know but what do you mean by "like the drop alt"
it doesnt have pinging noises afaik
but as i said
the glorious gmmk
and a pack of clickys
he could always put foam in it
and clickys will prob drown out the ping sound
Cuz im getting a condenser mic and its gonna be loud
silent switches could be worst than clickys idk
Boosteroid
well whatever u do dont get a mx brown
also
ill take outemu skys before mx browns
just get brown switches they have the tactile feel but are silent
depends on what set has what u like tbh
@normal barn ur trolling
a brown switch is mushier than my grandpas left big toe
thats kinda disgusting
i ain trolling gateron swithes are teactile but silent
i remember when zeals were like the pinnacle of switches
but you get the point
gateron browns are better than mx browns
but honestly they suck too
I think i get halo true
But i dont know whether to get gmk keycap set or coiled cable
drop has good keycaps
doubleshot pbt i believe
like the drop alt has some pretty good default keycaps
coiled cable is pure aesthetics
dont get a coiled cable
they arent worth it
unless ur gonna post ur battlestation on ig
u dont need a coiled cable lmao
The keycaps i was planning on getting were the gmk red samurai
also does it come with keycap puller
hypex pudding keycaps are insane good if u got rbg keyboard
omg pls
gmk samurai is too expenisve its like 70 fro a set
i got a $20 set of doubleshot pbt pudding keycaps from kprepublic and i really like th em
my only real complaint with them is that they don't let quite as much light through from the led's as i'd like
but they still look good
Imma get the halo true
Ok bet
imma just keep stock ones
they ship from hong kong, so they'll take a couple of weeks, but mine were like $26 after shipping or something
i got the poker v2 60% set
i really dont want any pinging noises
if u think gmk samurai is expensive look at gmk aftermarket prices
Do i have to put it inside my kb
bruh
i dont wanna
bruh
spend 180 on a kb
u literally just unscrew it
:(
it makes a difference trust me
building a pc is harder than it
dont I have to cut holes in the foam so it aligns
that takes like 5 minutes
im assuming if you can chat on discord all day about peripherals you can put aside 10 minutes
it honestly isn't that hard dude
yes
yeah
man
nah
honestly building ur own keyboard isn;t the move
youll spend more time
sure youll have a better board probably
but dude
96 percent is best compact full size i have a lenovo y50-70 so im used to compact full size
u dont even wanna put foam in ur case
Is drop alt high profile better
bruh
yooooooooooooooo
my keyboard is here

everglide sakuras
oooooooooooooooooooh
should be able to build it this weekend
keycaps?
og doubleshots like these
65%
yuh got them for a decent price so i was like sure lol
but honestly nachos knows more than me
What happens if i dont put foam
it sounds more hollow
Hollow?
yeah
there willl be more rattle
ugh
man
hollow isn't bad dude
well
have you had a razer keyboard
thats the definition of rattle
it ownt be as bad
not nearly as bad
It was membrane
membrane switches
well razer mechanical keyboards have more rattle than a rattlesnake
honestly
okay finally found a video comparison
Got sick of how much pinging came out of the ALT.
Decided to take some 3mm floor underlay and place it between both the top plate + pcb and the pcb + bottom place.
... this took 3 hours to cut out each little switch hole with a knife...
On the plus side a far deeper thoc c...
this is with no foam and foam between the plate/pcb and pcb/case (dont really have to worry about between the plate/pcb)
oh ok
i built my 60% for like $60 but it's def on the cheap end
i like it a lot though
:gachiPls: plastic
gk61 kit from banggood, bulk gateron red switches for cheap, and the $20 keycap set
i also got the gk61 kit on sale, so it was less than $40 before shipping
it's normally around 50-60
Not bad
but the gateron red switches feel great for me, and the gk61 software is a little clunky, but it only took me about 20-30 minutes to figure out how to do custom lighting effects and all that
theres one with gat yellows under 100 on yt already
actually i think toastybros did a video about a similar kit
yeah, that might be the one, with the yellows
yea
they also did switch lube
which i didn't care as much about
We are no strangers to mechanical keyboards, but today we are teaching you how to build an easy mechanical keyboard using a hot-swap RGB PCB and lubed gateron yellow linear switches. We are doing so without having to solder!
-GVGMall-
20% coupon code for software: TB20
Windo...
the only complaint i have about my kb is the space key feels mushy, it doesn't have the snap/spring whatever you want to call it, that the rest of the keys have
but it's not enough for me to hate it
it's just not ideal
you can replace the spring
yeah i was gonna dig into it a little, not sure if it's the spring or the stabilizers on the board itself
is the dark core any good?
dark core what
rgb pro
wait corsair dark core rgb
well unless u play mobas no
its heavy and overall not that good
how long is the list lmao
lowkey kinda long
wish i can test them out but my bestbuy only has like 1 mouse thats on the list
its between the rival 600, viper, deathadder v2 and a rog gladius II
thx
@summer atlas whast ur budget
idk
uhh
if u can try to get drop alt
80-100 prob
180$
he has a lot of options
red dragon is a solid choice but not at that price range
if 30is like max budget or so then red dragon is a really good pick
I ain’t that cheap
well u need the wrist rest
no
that one is insane ly good
Reason: Bad word usage
you dont need a wristwrest lmao
ur watching
@sharp kindle ctrl+f user search is your friend for things like that :)
@normal barn no need for language like that.
damn
lmao i just changed my thingy
its easy
lmao im not actually doing it
KEKW
just go to game settings
and change the name of google chrome to anything you want
uhh
no pixio
what budget
