@daring zenith idk the technicalities of it but STOCK mouse skates are generally made of Teflon and aftermarket skates are PTFE Virgins

PTFE Virgins offer the smoothest glide = more consistent

the top brands being corepadz, tiger arcs and hyperglides

the new GPW Superlight will come with PTFE skates as standard rather than Teflon, and hopefully all their new mice from now on
