What I've anecdotally heard is that razer has had some scroll wheel issues but other brands have far more button click/switch issues
If you're a serious fps gamer, scroll wheel accuracy tends to not be too important compared to clicking imo
only have had scroll wheel issues with 2 of my razer mice out of 5 that ive owned and theyve been fixed just by cleaning. someone else though in here has had scroll wheel issues with their razer mouse and had to replace it i think
Model over brand. Take care companies for example, they sell cars targeted for people on a budget and cars for the ultra wealthy.
I have owned multiple Razer products over the years. While razer may not have the #1 quality the products have always worked and as far as mice goes, their Razer Basilisk lineup in my experience has been very reliable and sturdy.
Me, with my Razer viper :( it was like $25 and I used it heavily for 4-5 years though
I think where razer deserves the flak is probably their cheapo headsets, the all plastic ones
Those are actually garbage but at the same time there's a lot of garbage plastic headsets out there from lots of brands
Though alot of the garbage plastic headsets are cheaper
True
Hey
Im looking for a controller for single story pc games like rdr2, last of us, spiderman, etc
What do yall recommend
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/LwfDXR everything but GPU syncs in rgb, I've used multiple softwares including rgbfusion, GCC and openrgb but nothing works, ho2 does one fox this
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 7700 XT, Montech XR ATX Mid Tower
just an xbox controller or playstation controller if you like them more. otherwise theres other companies out there like the gamsir, razer wolverine, 8bitdo, powerA. I personally use one from a company called hyperkin since they have xbox 360 controller models, however theyre wired, not wireless
thanks. I want wired and do not want stick drift. I check out those companies
well, all controllers will get stick drift unless you get one with halleffect sticks
just a matter of luck of the draw on how long the sticks will last
my xbox controller that ive had for like 7 years hasnt developed any stick drift but some people will get stick drift within the first week of using their new controller
ive had bad luck with stick drift, 8bitdo seems to have hall effect controllers for $30
I think I will go with that, thanks again
yup, 8bitdo has some great stuff
anyone? also another thing, when I turned my pc off from the windows button then the rgb stayed on until i turned off the PSU and pressed the power button to pull out the rest of the power
@restive quarry I recommended gamesir g7 SE if you're wanting hall effect sticks, remappable back buttons and a software
they're roughly £35 / $50
xbox controller however so depends what type of controller you like
anyone know what to do?
which motherboard
gigabyte b650 eagle ax
it turns off if i use the power button but not when i do windows>shut down
bios. Advanced mode > Settings > Miscellaneous > LEDs in System Power On State > Off
wouldnt that disable my leds all the time?
thats what google ai says
or
you can just turn off uhhhhhhh
fast start up
in power options
okok
should i tape my earcups

the leather thing came off
and the noise isolation became worse cuz of that
i don't want my family hearing what music am listening to
just got the ultimate 2c wired version. Feels good so far, hopefully it doesnt break 3 months in lmao
I have the wireless, feels pretty solid to me
ill try this one next if the 8bitdo does not last, but the review were good on it
yea it is, but an issue I saw online is the left trigger starts acting up
Huh, haven't heard of that
honestly for $20 it feels really good
how long have you had yours? and roughly how many hours have you used it
Yeah hard to complain about hall effect sticks for $20-25
Not very long and I don't use it too frequently. More of a mouse and keeb guy
I do like the ps5 controllers/ ps layout, but honestly for the games im using it for, it doesnt matter. As long as it's good and will last me a couple years
Sad
still gonna try and order
idk if imma make 10am though, gonna be at work
they got apple pay and gpay on their site so i might have a chance against bot accounts
Did they say how much?
nothing yet but i assume $130-$140
half of my twitter timeline are content creators getting their miku pads 😔
i want mine, reeee
I bought 2 Hifiman edition xs and it sounds so amazing and most importantly extremely comfortable for my big melon, only problem is i returned the first one back to amazon cuz it had weird buzzing sound at ~450hz, yesterday i got the replacement. yeah the annoying buzzing is still there and im starting to lose faith with this freaking company. any suggestions for planar, kinda warm headphones at around 250-300 usd? im thinking of monoprice m1070 or maybe aune ar5000 tho i still prefer planar.
I have a fiio k11 dac
also I have huge issues with heat in my ears so big drivers help me alot
So i just checked amazon and the M1070 rn is priced at ~180 usd, should I go for it?
@neon root @west hornet
Holy moly that’s a lot of money
bruh what
im had the same issue as everyone else, "shipping not available to your location/region"
i was at the checkout where it had the shipping cost and then i hit pay and it say nah, not available to your location, and i had to go through the captcha again and now wont work
or hasnt worked i should say
apple pay didnt work twice and had to do paypal
it says sold out yet it still lets me add to cart and proceed with checkout until i get blocked with the "product is not available to ship to your address" 🗿
feels weird going back to open back headphones after using iems for a while]
but is it hatsune miku?
Hatsune addicted
anyone know anything about audio systems that enhance monitor's builtin speakers sounds?
umm honestly there isn't much you can do to make built in monitor speakers sound much better
i mean like buy a soundbar or something. i just dont have a clue what is good or not. im not an audio person
oh yeah sure. depends on your budget but for a desk speaker setup id prob reccomend some smaller bookshelf or tabletop speakers.
I know the Micca RB42 had positive reviews for the price years ago.
I believe the iLoud Micro Monitor Pros are also pretty good in the 200-300usd range
how about razer leviathan v2 x?
not the pro
razer isn't really praised for their audio quality as well as most gaming brands. I think the best audio product they have is the blackshark v2 but that is a very budget oriented headphone
all i need better sounds than my builtin speakers
I mean pretty much anything except for those cheapy 20usd speakers would be an improvement
im replacing my gaming desk in a month
For gaming I'd get some headphones or iems over speakers tbh
For a cheaper alternative ye. Though I will say speakers have a higher ceiling in terms of audio quality
Just hard to get good 360° surround with a pair of speakers on your desk
Imo good speakers have better surround if you position them properly
But headphones are more flexible. Speakers definitely have a sweet spot
yo, need some good keyboard/mouse options, both wireless, nothing too crazy expensive
and a decent headset
razer viper v3 pro
it's like $130 which I would probably call a bit expensive but not crazy expensive
actually the v2 pro at $80 might be the better buy
theres a lot of good mice from like 50 to 150
depends on your grip
is it recommended for casual gamers to use a surge protector?
Well yes but if you want to do it the right way and prevent any data loss in power outages a UPS is always a good idea
Surge protectors are basically mandatory for any computer user as it protects your expensive hunk of metal
For casual gamers you should be fine with just a surge protector
But if you want to not lose data or suddenly disconnect from a game during a power outage, then you need a UPS (for both the PC and the network equipment)
Curious for opinions on one of the two following
DAREU A980PRO
Or the
Glorious i2 wireless
Dont know a ton about the brands but i am a big fan of mice with thumb rests i just find them more comfortable
i got my friend the mchose g7
it seems pretty good
having tried it myself
nice clicks, good build quality and fairly light
Interesting never heard of that brand ill take a look. Am looking to see if anyone knows about the others though
i know dareu makes good mice as well
the glorious id pretty much stay away from though
Heard and reason glorious is a no go?
at that price range the dareu has a better sensor, is solid shell, and probably better built knowing glorious
the mchose is a decent amount cheaper than both and is also quite a bit lighter than either
Im on a razer basilisk so im not really worried about weight
Scroll wheel is acting up and the built in grip is just going bad
if you play fps games a lighter mouse lets you lower sens which usually means better aim
but in general a lighter mouse is nice you wont be able to go back if you find a good shape
Debounce issue sounds like
how dost one fixeth it
You can check keyboard software to see if there's a debounce setting
Other than that idk
Swap out the switches I guess
grr
i hate spending money
does synapse not have a debounce setting
?
ok i think i fixed it, repeat delay in windows keeb setting was set to basically instantaneous
here i'll write a test para
Damn
neither of those are actually any better
just different sound signatures
does anyone have suggestions for water proof earphones? I love swimming and would love to be able to use earphones that dont fall out and can deal with water without problems. I haven't decided on a budget yet so open to everything. Based in australia
Thanks in advance ❤️
i play on controller. my current wireless keyboard and mouse is acting up for a few months. I want to get an egronomic wired keyboard and mouse any recommendations?
I think only bone conduction headphones would be able to be used while swimming, plus Bluetooth won't work (since water is very good at absorbing Bluetooth signals and radio signals)
I don't think I've ever seen full water proof earbuds
Aw man alright, thanks for letting me know
this is most certainly not what you are looking for but I have seen some people that install waterproof speakers in the lining of pools, sound quality obviously isn't the greatest but it's something
i think shokz sells some
but i dont think theresd many with bluetooth, youd have to download the music to the earphones themslves
I'll take a look, thanks!
downloading the music would be the easy part haha
Earbuds that do that usually have limited space and can take a long time to download to the buds so that is something to keep in mind
@west hornet @neon root Miku shipped but need sig and I won't be home 🤡
yeah just somewhat inconvenient in the age of spotify lol
but definitely not a big deal really
Hatw when that happens

depending on carrier you may be able to sign in online and e-sign
What's the point of an e signature
Better to have them hold it at the post office or whatever
Or if you're friends with a neighbor, add in the delivery instructions to deliver to your neighbor if nobody answers the door
Yeah if possible I would let them hold it if no one was home
rip, gotta wait till next day then
my hyper x quadcast is extremely quiet. was thinking about downloading some software equalizier to change the decibels but not sure if its worth doing
i also dont have a boom arm idk how much that would help
check the gain on the microphone and also the audio volume in windows cause sometimes windows can do that where the gain is half but in windows the volume is at like 20
a boom arm is nice to keep the mic away from your keyboard and mouse as well as help reduce any rattling or shaking from your table. can be more extreme and get one that doesnt attach to your table so you completely avoid all shaking/rattling
@neon root @west hornet
HATSUNE MIKU SUPREMACY
ups says mine arrives tomorrow but ups always says that after ordering something so probably next week or something
or week after
sure, $180 + shipping and handling
🥲
i ordered mine this morning, i was lucky cause i was dumb and thought it was gonna release today at 2pm pst but nop, released 2am pst and i ordered it at 6am
was lucky that it was still in stock
Does hyperx alloy rise have a full aluminum build like the origin?
And does anyone have any 60-75% kb recommendations?
I need a good relatively cheap mouse chat
What is your budget and what kind of games?
I play MMO and FPS games - I personally like the Razer Naga V2 because you can change out the plates. Its a bit pricy but sometimes it goes on sale. The battery hold is amazing (I dont have to charge it for at least 2 days)
However, based on what you will use it for, there are other brands that I have tried and can give recommendations for
https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-naga-v2-pro
G502
Preferably wireless but wired is dirt cheap
Looking for a clacky clacky or thumpy thumpy? Price point or is price not a big factor?
Behold... a rare wegg staff in the wild
Shhhh dont tell on me....
More thumpy thumpy, around 150 or less would be nice
thumpy thumpy. My friend has a really nice thumpy keyboard and I am requesting the deets. be back soon!
I personally like the sound of Wisteria Switches but....I am having issues looking for pre-builds with them. I will look those up too and let you know what I find
This is the braand my friend has. She said K5
Keychron specializes in designing and building high-quality keyboards and mice. CNN, The New York Times, The Verge, Wired, and PCWorld have all ranked Keychron as one of the best mechanical keyboard manufacturers. AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok also listed Keychron as the best mechanical keyboard option.
K3 or K7 would be your 65% - 75%
@thorn grove miku pad comes in next week on the 11th
Naisu
NVM, ITS HERE NOW
I am not a big Miku person but dang that is cute and cool.
After a few years and not having the tools, I mangled the keys off the board and gave the whole thing a deep clean, added a new set of gateron yellow optical switches, and gave each keycap a full detail, my poor fingers got mangled but worth it
MIKU MIKU UUUUUWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUU

Uhm
best thing ive ever done, changed decibels from -6 to +6 and mic is crystal clear 🙏
NOOO
saw that earlier, shame they didnt have any hot sauce or ketchup
waiting on my new mouse to arrive before using the miku pad since the skates on my current mouse arent meant for glass
too lazy to plug in another mouse i have
my mouse is finally in the US from china, now time to wait another 2 weeks for it to arrive
do you have to pay any tariffs for it? #1 reason why I haven't bought anything recently
when were the tariffs placed? forgor. but not listed on my order
pre-ordered back in march
I think the orders before the tarrifs hit but arriving after they were in place would be CoD
oh yeah i refunded my neo ergo
the shipment of keyboards was just lost in customs
lol!
Yikes
💀
Any recommendations for a keyboard and mouse? I'm currently using a Redragon S101 combo I got for $40 back in 2018 lol
I've been looking at the Wooting Two HE, I want a 100% board and I like the features on it, but it's also $195. I don't mind that too much, but I'd prefer for it to not be almost $200. I've also looked at the Keychron Q6 HE, but I don't really need wireless, and it's mostly going to be sitting at my desk.
I've been looking at the G502 X Lightspeed/Plus for a mouse
keychron k10 he if you want full sized lol, $135 for standard edition
keychron has some decent mouse options too depending on what shape you want
Does it have something like Wooting's "Snappy Tappy", or is there other software I can use to enable something like that?
Not sure what I like, but this is the newer version of the one I use right now, the mouse is pretty much exaclty the same.
https://redragonshop.com/products/redragon-s101-combo
Redragon S101 PC gaming keyboard and Redragon Centrophorus M601-3 gaming mouse combo Include Redragon RGB Backlit Computer Gaming Keyboard and RGB Backlit Gaming Mouse. ALL-IN-ONE PC GAMER VALUE KIT, Fantastic for Gamers. It is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP, Limited Mac OS keyboard support.
keychron calls it snap click
Oh okay
Last Keystroke Prioritization and Snap Click, and the rest of the normal HE feature set
with how you hold your mouse, what parts of your hand makes contact with the mouse?
I guess the pad of my thumb sits on it, sometimes my palm does, sometimes it hovers above, pinky and ring fingers rest on it, I use my ring finger for right click if I'm butterfly clicking
I'm using a little wireless office mouse at a hotel right now so I'll have to check when I get home, but my hand generally sits the same way on all of them, probably different because this thing is too small for my hand
I think imma get a $30 HE keeb from monsgeek, I'll report back in a week or so 🫡
probably want to describe it as palm grip then, sometimes claw, something like keychron m3 should be a decent choice, depending how the size of your hand
good luck lol
I'm not up to date with keyboards and mice but keychron has pretty decent options to start with
Yeah I already have a decent one from evga but am curious about a cheap 60% HE for gaming
Dang, 8k polling is sold out on it
8k is pretty overkill tbh
Tbh >1k polling is pretty hard to justify actually using outside of it being kinda cool
Games rarely let you take advantage of it, and in general it adds more overhead so you lose a bit of system performance, all for a personally imperceivable gain
I have a M3 mini 4k, I have it set to 1k lol
Okay
1k is plenty, maybe when you're an esports pro using a 540hz monitor 2k/4k makes a little more sense
But also it's just a big number they can market with
I guess medium? Somewhat large, but not what I would call big.
If that changes that at all
A shape like the keychron m3 should work fine then
sometimes it's a bit small if you consider your hands to be big
or bit too big if you consider your hands small
damn shipping prices went way up
check amazon, keychron generally sells for similar prices on amazon
used to be always $20 for shipping to US
Not on there, at least not the RGB version
the special edition is out of stock
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Got the keybaord and mouse
Cheaper than the Q6 would have been lol
fair
i know this is an old message, but what did you end up getting? My Hifiman edition xs just broke on me so im looking for recommendations for new headphones
if anyone else has recommendations id be thankful too
I dread the day my edition xs break, the right plug port is acting finiky
my right headphone doesnt work anymore 😭
i probably shouldve been more careful with them..
I should too
they also tend to pluck my hair out
HUH
the little swivel gear looking thing that attaches to the sides of them pinches my hair
ended up having to put duct tape over them lmao
so im hoping my set set of headphones wont do that
hey if urs work....
i have been wanting one with a suspension head band thingie
I was about to get audeze Maxwell
It has a sus band
And it's planer but it's closedback
And wireless might lose audio quality
I have to say I love the suspension headband on some of the meze’s
any news on WEGG srever tag?
should i just get edition xs' again or go for the anandas
Looking for same sound sig as xs?
i just want them to sound pretty
i liked my xs' so probably
holy dead chat
You know you are in peripheral chat right? Lol
what were u going to suggest?
What was your budget

around $300
Id save up more for HD490 PRO. Otherwise maybe look into sundra2020
Sundara2020*
@daring zenith is an "import duty payment" normal?
Actually the shop app also shows it
huh
26.31 🗿
might just be a tariff?
Sounds like tariff but you can email their support and find out why
They were saying no tariffs soo
US tariff on China is 10% rn
Seems like that might be what it is
and taxes
I saw some people from the US saying that they have gotten import duties in the Keycrhon server
they took US off the list of nations where they typically don't have to pay import duties for lmao
lmao
You mean here?
For Canada, we'll ship through DHL Express only, the ETA is around 7 business days after we ship. There is a chance you might be taxed, but the chance of getting taxed is very low right now, it's less than 20%. Please be aware of that. For Spain, we can't ship to Balears Province, Las Palmas, and Santa Cruz de Teneri
scraped from just over a month ago
current
lol
a bit unfortunate
yeah
Hey do you know if I can use one wireless adapter and have the mouse and keyboard work at the same time?
My friend has some ASUS keyboard and mouse and it does that, I don't think they're even the same line
I don't think keychron lets you connect to both with the same 2.4ghz dongle, but you can do one thing via 2.4ghz dongle and another via bluetooth
yeah my bluetooth is kind of trash, so
never really tried it though
well, it mostly works, just weirdly buggy
also BT has a 40 ms delay at best or something crazy like that
bluetooth is a bit finicky
yea only bearable with keyboard
don't use bluetooth for mouse for games lol
@west hornet @neon root do I buy light blue /white keycap set to match with Miku pad
kbm goes hard but the pad is cringe
Nah bro it's okay she's actually like 500 years old
does anyone know a good mouse for about 30€ with the following requirements:
durable, comfortable, not too clicky buttons, precise, 2+ side buttons, good for palm grip and medium-big sized hands
I'm ok with those less popular but underrated brands too
Looks like model o is ~30€ in Germany, although the size might be more medium/small, not that big
unfortunately it's a bit pricier in Italy...
also I'm fine with non lightweight mice
as long as the weight is balanced
unlike current razer deathadder essential
Model d was a bit cheaper but it's shorter and might be a bit too small
Fenrir asym 8k finally arrived
It is.... stout
It probably has a ridiculous price
★ RETURN & REFUND POLICY★ The NFC tags have been gifted out. Currently, NFC tags are no longer provided as gifts. Please be informed! Ok not as bad as I was thinking
160 including tax
I was thinking 200+
@daring zenith this thing is nice, noticeably better than my old mouse. I'm able to land shots when I previously couldn't because my mouse didn't get the small movements.
Also seems like it might go across my mouse pad better, probably does
Depending on when you ordered it, it was cheaper for the pre-order and pre-pre order. Got it for $120
Comes with a bag for when you’re not using it
Wow 120 is pretty good
Nice
has a arm sleeve as well and 4 things of clay, 2 usb c cables, one for the dongle and one for charging the mouse
and grip tape
I forgot what clay is used for
And this is the carrying case for the mouse for when you travel, comes with a strap to attach so you can carry it around
for extra padding to form to whatever grip you want
spensive ones?
whats considered spensive
no
interesting design
any clear keycap recommendations(black lettering)
https://www.newegg.com/p/3D4-007M-00025?item=9SIBSK6K874923 is the crua monitor any good looking to get a 34” ultrawide and it’s either this or the Sceptre 34”
whats is a good wired mouse thats is egronomic with some rgb. Im gonna use it for gaming and office work. im trying to get into kbm. im thinking g502 hero rn
im not spending more than 100 usd for a mouse
well typical ergo mice are like the keychron m6 or logitech mx master 3s. idk much that have rgb as well
Is anybody familiar with touchscreen setups? I'm curious about adding a small portable touchscreen that I can use for OBS/soundboard. I'm not sure if I can use the touchscreen while I'm running a fullscreen game, though
ping me if you know
most people just use a display macropad rather than a full portable monitor. something like the loupedeck or elgato stream decks
touchscreen still uses the mouse cursor to perform actions in windows so if you were to touch while in game it will probably pause, minimize, or defocus the game
@ocean stream
@neon root these headphones are nice maybe i should get more expensive ones
How is it
so far good, but kinda awkward to hold. thought itd be better than the HSK Pro since this one isnt ambi, has a bit more on the side for your fingers to hold onto. idk if its because its actually like that or because my hand is still a bit weird from when i broke a bone in it
but this is also why they give clay in the box so you can add it to the mouse for a better grip

didnt use discount?
pretty sure pulsar has a bunch of creator codes for 10% off
maybe not, not finding anything
looking to get some new headphones, mainly for my pc and occasionally my phone too.
Out of the following what do you recommend the most? I'm looking for good audio quality, decent anc / noise isolation, and especially comfort.
JBL Tune 720 BT - 50€
JBL Tune 760 NC - 60€
Edifier W800BT Pro - 55€
Edifier W830NB - 70€
Sony WH-CH720N - 70€
so far the sony seem to pack most of the requirements. But there are few clear comparisons between these models.
should I test them out at a store? comfort is obviously different for everybody
there's no way I'll find all these in a physical store
Soundcore is what many people have been looking at for lower budget anc headphones. I will add though that I have yet to find a bluetooth anc headphone that is any decent for pc use with anything other than music and content consumption
Should I cancel
I already have a vpv3

Theo trying to go on a spending spree
all the models I encountered, despite having good quality audio are not very comfortable and they start breaking apart after few months of use
q30 was my pick before realizing I'd have to replace them after not much time
is sony xm4 good for pc gaming as well blocking tv noise for living room? my gaming rig is the next room over
again I would advise against anc headphones for pc use. if you have audio playing in a pair of decent closed back headphones it will probably block out enough noise
Just picked this guy up while on lunch! Just built a 9800X3D/RTX 5080 Astral machine and now my current 32” 4k 60Hz display is my limiting factor. Went all out with a 32” 4k 240Hz OLED. Going to get the most out of that 5080!
Had to limit my 4k to 120 hz since the 240hz was making my GPU heat up a bit during idle
What about 180
At 4k it steps from 60, 120 and 240

Dang seriously? Which GPU? I have the 5080 Astral and idle is the same as it was with my old panel…or I’m just not noticing extra load
God the new 32” 4k 240Hz OLED display is incredible..does my 5080 Astral justice! Complete world of difference from the old 32” 4k 60Hz display! No longer limited by refresh rate!
5090
Maybe it just hates you lol
Cant you create a custom resolution with the nvidia driver and set a custom refresh rate
Pretty sure you can
Maybe you can do 180 that way
If that still makes it ramp up then maybe 165
any webcam and headphone reccomendations
i would prefer bluetooth headphones with decent quality
dont mind too much for webcam
Wireless headphones are alright but get 2.4gz dongle not Bluetooth
super duper late
but I have the WH-CH720N and the only problem I had was some random moments where it would cut noise for a split second
fixed it by updating my bluetooth drivers tho lol
have had them for a year and a half and theyre really nice
Hey guys, looking for recommendations for Wifi adapters that connect thru usb (I dont have wifi on my mobo and ethernet cable isn't an option as of now) my old one is extremely slow and only gets upto speeds of 2-3 mbps while my wifi can do 150 mbps. My budget is 1.5k INR (~20 USD)
Not sure whether it matters but my mobo is H310M PRO-VH PLUS
thanks for the reply. how would you rate comfort on those headphones? do you have any others to compare them to? any significant signs of wear after that time?
Best to get a pcie wifi adapter, something like this, a little over 1500inr though
https://computechstore.in/product/tp-link-ac1200-wireless-wifi-pcle-card-2-4g-5g-dual-band-wi-fi-pci-express-adapter-low-profile-long-range-beamforming-heat-sink-technology-supports-windows-10-8-1-8-7-xp-archer-t4e-black/
Buy TP-Link AC1200 Wireless WiFi PCLE Card | 2.4G/5G Dual Band Wi-Fi PCI Express Adapter | Low Profile, Long Range Beamforming Heat Sink Technology | Supports Windows 10/8.1/8/7/XP (Archer T4E) (Black) at Best Price in India from Computech it can be yours only for ₹1,749.00 with Shipping Pan India, EMI Options available, Gaming Pc, Laptops and...
Hey, I considered this but looking at my motherboard I don't see an extra pcie slot, though I may have missed it since I'm not exactly great at this stuff. My motherboard is H310M PRO-VH PLUS
comfort is actually a 7/10
but i have fairly weird ears
so it gets tiring after a couple hours of use but i don’t typically wear them for more than one hour at a time
You should still have 2 extra x1 slots
Is Rtings still a good thing to look at when picking stuff out?
Yea, no reason not to
Im trying to find a full size keyboard thats pretty good. And they dont have any rankings for them anymore.
I don't think rtings ever had good coverage for keyboards lol
they're great for monitors, good for charts for headphones but the entire review might be a bit wonky for headphones
Yo im looking for a 1440p 27 inch monitor
currently looking at ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS and MSI MAG 275QF
any recommendations?
Any good suggestions?
This is the one I've had for awhile
Look at all of Keychron's hot swap options
I just looked and they seem kinda small and cramped. 🤔
They have full sized options
Any good 1440p gaming monitor on sale under 600
Could snag a 240hz QHD OLED if you shop it right in that price range.
maybe a yunzii keyboard, i just got one and its pretty pog
this is the al68 gateron zero switches and it costed 83 bucks with tax, and its like insane for the build, sound, and material imo
just got it today and its awesome compared to my old keyboard
all the switches are prelubed and they feel very nice
Keychron HE K2 wireless, honest review after a good bit,
Price: $130~
Switch: Hall effect purple nebula switches
Silent, smooth keypresses and adjustable activation points on the switches helps for different scenarios, its weight and heavy aluminum frame help it maintain nice acoustics and pretty solid battery
Cons: Keychron software isn’t exactly versatile
Yo guys my dad needs some help any recos?
What's their budget? It's probably going to be some OLED panels, but you might be able to get some older dell color accurate panels that used to be good
Alr
He said he doesn't know what's a reasonable budget
Tbh I dont either💀
No, I'm talking about the dell ultrasharp line that are factory color calibrated
https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-ultrasharp-24-monitor-u2424h/apd/210-bkrr/monitors-monitor-accessories
They will all be expensive if you want color accuracy
I feel like you can find the older ultrasharp monitors like the 2417h for cheaper somewhere else though
Found a $180 u2417h...
This monitor has it all! The Dell UltraSharp U2417 comes equipped with a wide array of connectors including HDMI, DisplayPort, and Mini DisplayPort inputs allowing you to connect to a variety of computer configurations. The narrow InfinityEdge bezel makes this a perfect monitor for a dual display...
Yea u2417h, older but still decent
Alr
How color accurate
And what budget
Enough for photo editing. Honestly neither of us know much abt monitors so idk abt budget
Asus pro art pa279crv
It's very accurate with HDR turned off
Otherwise oleds are much much better
alr
@west hornet before i youtube reviews for it, do you know anything of the moondrop aria 2 if theyre good or not? 🗿
or anyone that may know
I do not sorry
time for youtube
Original aria rate much better
ASRock Phantom Gaming 27" 360Hz 0.03ms QD-OLED QHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) Gaming Monitor is this monitor good? It’s 540$

Its QHD 2460x1440 resolution, OLED display panel offers superb picture quality and sharp imagery to...
Is the one I sent any better
Is this QHD?
There’s this to
It's 1440p.
It's a bit better, up to you if you want to spend the extra money
Oh, ight I wanna get one that has Qhd OLED
I only play for games so idk if a OLED is worth it
Oh ight, bc some monitors in the name says Qhd and some say just QD
OHH
Ik what you mean
QD-OLED is a panel type
QHD is a resolution
Compare that one to the Samsung odyssey OLED g6
Both the same price
PGO27QFV should be a bit better, but G61SD has a slightly better HDR certification
OLED is best for games, Mini-LED is better for productivity that involves reading a lot of fine print.
Alrighty
Is that the best option for under 600)?
600 usd
There’s the Alienware aw2725d
Hey guys, i wanted some recommendations for a mouse around 50 euro
hey guys sorry to bother, i was wondering if someone had any recommendations on a monitor meant for desk work that was 24 or 27 in, with a budget of around 200$
which one should I get
For that price neither
Id reccomend a magentic keeb from wooting or monsgeek
For a mechanical switch maybe keychron
i got a oled monior that came with a dp cable and a hdmi 8k cable which one should i use?
dp, although it probably doesnt matter
what resolution and what gpu?
its 1440p res 9070xt
yeah then it wont matter
the games dont look crisp at all for being a oled lol
idk, you sure you are on the right resolution?
yea
then not sure, just like motion blurr??
yea
mm not sure then sorry, you could try switching the cable but it may just be the monitor?
motion blur or clarity? cuz if it's 1440p at 27" or higher that is a relatively lower ppi
Any recommendations for a 100% keyboard with RGB and hotswap. Preferably without bluetooth or wireless without a battery.
I was looking at the Keychron K10 but not sure...
look at the keychron v6 too
OLED isn't what makes things look crisp
Resolution is what makes it crisp
OLED is just for way better contrasts
I ended up going with the Keychron K10 V2. It has everything that I wanted.
Yea its good
Keychron v6 goated
Hello everyone. I have a question and if it’s ok can it be answered? Should I purchase a 1080p or 1440p monitor when using RX 9060 XT 16GB version?
Both can be good options, depending on your budget and what kind of games you want to play
I play games such as osu!, roblox, fortnite, and apex legends
All of those are light enough that 1440p is not going to sink your performance beyond a reasonable framerate, other than Fortnite if you're running relatively high settings
Something like this would work as an example
https://www.newegg.com/asrock-pg27qft1b-27-qhd-180-hz-ips-black/p/N82E16824946003
Wow 🤩
With the assumption being you'll be running light games like the ones listed
9060xt is very capable, but don't expect 100+fps on high settings on very new releases at 1440p
Yes, I do not usually play the various games in benchmarks youtube video. Is genshin impact ok for it?
Genshin is very well optimised afaik
Should not be a problem
main problems would be anything with ray tracing or anything UE5 for example, those are going to end up closer to 60fps
Well, it’s still fine. I can always reduce setting.
Thank you for the kind suggestion, I will purchase 1440p with my new PC.
You're welcome, good luck
Good afternoon. My name is Ed, I’m new to the form. I seek information regarding a Bluetooth extender. I have a camera surveillance system with a recorder that will be in a closet about two walls away from where I will be using a wireless mouse to control the screens and cameras.I seek a device that will enhance that Bluetooth signal to get it through the walls. Any help would certainly be appreciated.

Whats your budget and what are you looking for? There is already a keyboard, mouse, and monitor in the list.
Total budget is 1.2k, there is but they’re placeholders
Unless they’re good enough already
Keychron c2 is a fine keyboard option, I'd encourage you to figure out what grip and what kind of mouse you want to refine that choice, and in terms of the monitor, I wouldn't recommend 1440p with a 9060xt 8gb, but it's doable with 9060xt 16gb
is hd 560s the best mid range for gaming/work
might still be a better idea to go with 6xx which is just a more popular and covered similar option
both are pretty old, but also both are pretty well known and reviewed, just that more people are going to have owned 6xx and can give more advice about it
is that 600? or is that different
6xx is separate from 600
https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-sennheiser-hd6xx
this or 180$ cad 560s im in canada
180 cad? iirc drop does take extra to ship to Canada so the 180cad 560s is probably going to be slightly better value
okie thank you!
do you also know amazon's policy on returns on headphones
Should use their standard electronics policy
people recomend the V-MODA BoomPro Microphone but its a bit too costy any alternitives mabye
uh that should be $20, all the alternatives should be more expensive
35$ Canada for some reason
Man, I’m torn on getting the new AirPod 3 pros when they come out, I don’t know how good other headphones compare in the ~$300 price range. Rumors say AP3 launching at $299
I’ve had my AP2’s for probably like 2 or 3 years now, they’ve done fine but I’ve begun to experience plenty of bugs and my battery life is hot dookie butt now
Maybe this should’ve gone in #electronics idk man lol
Hello, does anybody know if there is anything i can do? I've had this monitor for 2 years, did not touch it, did not drop it or anything like that.
It should be within the warranty period if its under 2 years from purchase
thank you so much, i forgot about the warranty XD
3 years of warranty they gave me so yea !
question, what is this problem called? Dead pixels?
Because i need to make a detailed explanation of the problem
You can probably call it stuck pixels
dead pixels are just going to be black without being illuminated
those pixels are stuck on pink(?) instead of being the right color
like maybe the blue subpixel is stuck on while the red subpixel is supposed to be on for it to be red
Nice, thank you so much, they will pick it up. Im sad they will probably take more than a week to repair it ..
You're welcome, good luck
anybody know any good priced 1440p OLED monitors

does anyone know of any good mice. I was going to get another g502 but i heard the qc is really bad with the new ones
i was looking at mostly the big brands like razer and steelseries but online people say they dont last that long before issues
@neon root
i havent kept up with mice in the last 1.5 year 🗿
all mice have and will have problems no matter the company/brand. if you want something similar to the g502 from a big brand name like that, then the razer basilisk will probably be the closest or just get a g502 when its on sale
other gaming brands right now are more focused on ambi mice or ergo mice but not the same kind of ergo that the g502/ basilisk provide
there is also redragon but their products are hit or miss at times
I want to get a g502 wireless at some point here
i don't like logitech myself
they tend to start double clicking 2 years in
speaking from personal g304 experience
Noted
I’ve had a few Logitech mice, g403 hero, g703 lightspeed, g203, and g305 double click was an issue on 305 and 203 but nothing on either g403 or g703 and still use them daily

Keychron is getting into the budget keyboard and mouse combo space lol
https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-b33-keyboard-and-bm25-mouse-wireless-combo
Switch: Scissor switch
yup, they're getting into the office keyboard bundle market lol
Not a bad price honestly especially with the specs they mention, and being a combo as well but if need more than 2400dpi on the mouse I’d avoid it
2400dpi is more than enough
Actually I guess it depends on your preferred sensitivity but even then it's probably plenty
For me more than enough, I use 1200,1300,1450, and for mouse that has it 25600dpi for speed spins
Yup
Any good?
Not bad, but not the best
is there better value ones
Hi, just looking for a solid (cheap) 4k monitor, 27 inches for a dorm room
or actually, would there be much of a difference between 4k and 1440p or even 1080p at that small size ?
would a 1440p 27 inch monitor and saving however much money be best ?
Hows this look?
Anyone have any recommendations on a mouse that is great for productivity and school as well as some gaming?
What grip, what budget, and any specific needs?
Probably 75 budget wireless with good productivity, usually I use a controller for games
can try something like a keychron m3 if you're not sure what grip you'll use
but what productivity needs do you have, do you need like 10 side buttons?
Definitely not that many it’s just for schoolwork basically
shouldn't really matter then

Acer Predator XB271HU (IPS 144Hz)
I've had this monitor listed on marketplace for almost six months at $125 and only get extremely lowball offers for it. I bought it in December of 2019. My research tries telling me it's actually worth more second-hand, but I am in a weak market for this kind of hardware. Someone offered me $100 for it, which I am considering just to get rid of it. I don't really need it, I prefer my smaller 23 inch as a my backup monitor. Is $100 too low? Or pretty good for a six year old display?

What's the best option to increase wifi speed on this PC https://www.newegg.com/abs-master-gaming-desktop-geforce-rtx-3060-ti-intel-core-i5-11400f-16gb-ddr4-1tb-pcie-ssd-ali605/p/N82E16883360270?Item=N82E16883360270&cm_mmc=TEMC-Shipping-New-Delivery-Notification-Responsive-USA-_-N82E16883360270&utm_medium=TraEmail&utm_source=TEMC-Shipping-New-Delivery-Notification-Responsive-USA ? I've currently moved from a house with LAN connections to one with a wifi only option for my home office. I have a company laptop that's clocking near 100mbps D/U and this PC is clocking 20-25mbps D/U (sitting side by side). It has a built-in Asus wifi 5 card (I have antennas on). I can't use the PCIe slot beacause of the graphics card size. I've read the pros/cons of USB wifi adapters, is anyone running one like the Wavelink AX5400 USB 3.0?
So like ik it might be pretty rare this day and age but what's the best wireless wifi adapter these days?
Is there such a thing as a cheap wheel and pedals
stolen ones.
antenna only
hey @neon root do you know of any good metal mouse options? Currently looking at pwnage stormbreaker and wlmouse beast x, can't really find anything notable in the <$200 range
wlmouse is good. i have a wlmouse mini and the only problem it has now after like year and a half of usage, is the right click doesnt fully hold down if that make sense but i think thats a matter of me not cleaning the mouse for a year since i just keep switching instead
pwnage im not sure about. ive heard mixed reviews, not bad reviews but not super great. just good/decent. never looked into the stormbreaker or heard much about it but the people i watch and follow mainly use ambi mice so thats probably why since i never heard anything really about the wlmouse sword x
if you dont want to spend over $100 on a magnesium mouse, theres attack shark but ive heard theyre not good, but an alright mouse
oop, you can choose what switches you want on the wlmouse mice now and the kind of sides you want, solid or holes. go wlmouse, lol
Interesting
What's the difference between the switches?
optical vs mechanical
believe my mouse is using the omron optical switches since that was the only thing they offered when they first released
in theory, the ttc black dots should last longer and be better
if you do buy a wlmouse mouse, use code elo at checkout for 5% off
Alright thanks
Does Logitech make good wheels/ pedals
I need help finding a budget android (Samsung) tablet around the $200 USD price point. Uses is school notes and some basic art. Refurbished is fine - must be very good or excellent.
for just a racing wheel and pedals, theyre decent. can probably find a g920 or g29 used in decent/good condition for cheaper
can also catch them on sale too. the g920 was i think just under $200 recently
walmart babyyyy
of the g29 and g920 which ones better
probably the g920. the g29 i believe works on pc as well but its mainly a for the playstation
alr ty
Galaxy Tab S8 or S9 FE?
Nothing complicated just basic notes and maybe some simple drawng
Not my tablet
I feel like S9 FE might be better choice since it'll have longer software support and comes with an S pen
anyone have recommendations for dual monitor arms? would be for a 27" vertical and a 32" main
for basic stuff go with the S9 FE
I got my S9+ for $350 certified refurbished but now they’re like $450 refurbished
S9 FE is $250-$300 refurbished
300 ain't bad ngl
With s pen
Either that or the new iPad, but that would cost an extra $70 for a pen and he kinda wants the freedom of using Samsung
sometimes with education savings they give you free pen btw
Only for iPad Air or Pro
i need help getting a 360 hz monitor that’s not overpriced
What's the goal with it
Is this monitor good? Monitor Gaming LED ASRock PG27FF1A, 27", Full HD, 1ms, 165Hz, HDR FreeSync Premium IPS for 150,96? From romania btw
well i game a lot
fps games mainly
and i also want a second monitor
So just fps games and don't care much about color accuracy
nah
i don’t really know much about monitors but i got my first monitor from asking people here
it’s a 180hz
maybe something like this
https://www.newegg.com/p/3D4-007C-00033
looks good to me

Anyone have experience with Amazon refurbished tech products? Was thinking of grabbing this Arctis Nova Pro wired headset i found renewed for only $105 (I broke my old Arctis Pro original models last week 💔 ) but am iffy on buying refurbished stuff since I haven't really tried it before
I'm a bit hesitant but the one other time I bought a refurbished product it was a Steam Deck and there wasnt a single visible sign of use on it much less any damage, idk how trustworthy Amazon (or the sellers) are compared to Valve though lol
Half the price of a brand new set is hard to ignore though
Wouldn't recommend getting that either way but Amazon refurbished tends to be much lower quality than what valve would do
Wouldn't recommend the Arctis Nova Pro in general? Or just used headsets
Wouldn't recommend the arctic nova pro in general
But also actually used headsets tend to be nasty
Refurb can be fine if it's manufacturer refurbished, that's usually just open box and not actually used
Hmm what do you recommend instead then
If you don't really need wacky features and just want quality, pc38x
The only headsets ive ever used were rhe super old Adtro A40s from like 2012 which lasted me all the way up til 2019 when I got my Arctis Pros which I really liked (until I broke em)
But you can get better audio quality from separate headphone and mic
And iems can be a very good option too, especially in terms of value
Ive tried buying IEMS in the past and have had horrid experiences with them. I bought 3 from 2 different brands and 2 didnt work on arrival and the 3rd broke after a couple days of light use
I also am not much of an audio quality snob though, at least not enough to care for buying and setting up headphones and mic separately
Also thr only time I ever bought supposed audiophile quality headphones they were insanely uncomfortable and I returned em lol, I'd rather stick to my gamerslop at this point
I'm also just kind of on a smaller budget since my headset broke unexpectedly and I'm wantinf to replace it fast, I don't really wanna spend more than $100 on anything atm so classy stuff like a pair of $200 Sennheisers or $300 Beyerdynamics are out of my price range
oh didn't realize pc38x went up to $200, it was $120 last I checked
Cloud iii at ~$80 is probably the best idea for the time being then
Anyone have any experience with the Astro A50 X headphones
They seem to have pretty favourable reviews online
Ooh ok I'll check that out, it looks nice!
Guys how do I calculate what type of UPS I would need for a router that uses 10w to be on for 24h of no power?
I’m also thinking of buying just a cheap UPS, maybe Amazon basics or something since it’s just for a router
would just be 10w * 24hr -> 24whr
or like 12v * 2ahr
or like 12v * 2000mahr
depends on how the UPS decides to advertise its specs
Thanks
Can I ask about TVs here?
I'm trying to figure out if a base for one will fit another before I go ahead and get it. I have a 40" and it has a base but I'm looking at a 50" w/o a base and don't want to purchase one if I don't have to. Both Samsung.
ln40d550k1fxza (has base)
un50eh6000fxza (no base)
i have a m28u monitor. i just found old gs500 red dragon stentor speakers in my basement which has better sound quality?
Easiest is just to use both and listen for yourself lol
Usually standalone speakers will be better since higher power
@thorn grove I bought some 🗿
Ohh I've been waiting for 11 days and my gaming monitor hasn't even shipped yet...
How you liking it so far?
where'd you buy this monitor from???
unless its Aliexpress or something, it's gone wrong
internet been out, i can finally respond before it goes out again 🗿
theyre pretty good. faster than the stock skates i had on my gwolves mouse and a lot more quiet but i havent tested them yet on glass pad, only a cloth

i need help finding a screen frame replacement for a Cyberpower Tracer 3 C series, the hinge on the laptop screen between the bottom and screen is coming apart
I’d go straight to their support.
i did

I’d honestly look for a new case. O
Are ergonomic keyboards good?
depends on you and which ergonomic keyboard you go for lol
If I was answering this question, I would have assumed the first image result from Google, and then covered a few assumptions and use cases for it.
https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61fAIEGVxlL.jpg
And then I would have gone on to say that there are even more types with more and different uses for different people
I'd be thinking of something like this
but there are a lot of ways to go about making an ergo keyboard
In general, for the average person who doesn't have any special needs, is any kind of ergo keyboard worth pursuing over a normal or gamer keyboard?
I'd say not really, it's extra cost, extra complexity, and it'll take getting used to

Guys are virtiv UPS good? I’m debating if I should get that (400w) or the APC UPS for my router (265w) but it does not have a coax side like the virtiv but they’re both $60 USD
Guys
I need quick help if there's good prime day deals
My 3rd monitor dying (900P 16:10 monitor from 2006) and my second monitor is a 2018 TN panel 1080P monitor
I want to move the second terrible monitor to the even more terrible third monitors spot
And get a new 4K second monitor
It can be 60 hz or 120hz but I need something to watch movies on or use to show my capture feed on my capture card
Anyone know any good cheap but decent looking (visual more important than refresh rate or response time) monitors around 27-28 inches?
I was thinking this one but I don't know

you cant really go wrong with a monitor, as long as the specs say what u want, the company will deliver
or this https://www.amazon.com/KOORUI-Computer-Frameless-DisplayPort-Mountable/dp/B0C6T7Y81Q/ref=sr_1_11, koorui is a good brand
See I was thinking that one but the reviews were terrible for color accuracy
It is so cheap on Amazon I almost bought it without looking at reviews
Although it'll probably be better than the TN panel 1080P monitor I'm using now LOL
definitely
check the koorui one then
my first monitor was by them and it was great
I'll look at it, thank you
I need a suggestion
My Bluetooth is messed up, and I can barely play kb&m
I need a wired controller
Not something garbage though
In the $40-60 range pls and ty
ive always just used a xbox or dualsense controller wired to my pc but some of my friends use 8bitdo controllers that I believe are both wireless and wired
I’ve been using an Xbox controller for years
But the need for batteries and Bluetooth stuff is getting really annoying
8bitdo of some sort
Ultimate 2C has a Bluetooth, 2.4g dongle, and I believe works wired as well
Oh hall effect sticks and triggers too
Cheaper on website
Yeah gotta pay shipping tho
Probably still a little cheaper idk
But yeah for $30 or so it's a great controller
Main possible downside is the shape I think? The palm rest bits are less angled than an Xbox controller
I personally find it to feel great though
I just wanted something to play pc with
Oh and no back paddles, though they may have a diff model with them
That doesn’t have constant Bluetooth problems
I don’t use em
Yeah 2.4G dongle (or wired) will solve the Bluetooth issue
Wym
^ your previous setup had bt issues, 2.4g or wired will avoid that
Oh I misread
anyone have good mic recomendation, under $200 usd ideally. i just want a mic that will never cut out.
been running a fifine t-669 now for couple years and got it around $50usd with combo mic arm, just plug and play but they got newer models now
Fifine tends to be quite good for the price
heres a one that supports usb or xlr if you got a setup for that or plan on one in the future
https://www.amazon.com/FIFINE-Microphone-Podcasting-Voice-Over-AmpliGame-AM8T/dp/B0C74GYW3J

its better ten fold than headphone mics for sure lmao, and honestly i havnt looked into upgrading or had any issues and didnt need software which makes it great in almost every use case
I like my free gaming monitor
A 34 inches ultrawide 3440x1440 QD-OLED
However what I don't like is the brightness level, it's not very bright at normal settings compared to my IPS, which I heard is normal.
Where tf
PHILIPS EVNIA 27M2N3500PF is a 260HZ monitor IPS monitor
for
176 Dollars
it released recently in taiwan
and i think it's a decent value Monitor
and the 200HZ one is for 126 USD
be on the look out for it
if you don't have a OLED
one draw back is that it only supports DP1.4 and HDMI 2.0
also HDR10
I'd go for the $126 200hz, assuming it's still 2560*1440p
Hey yall, so <@&525119001324683264>, I dont know if this is the right channel to ask for any advice regarding UPS vs Power surge protector. So I'm getting a new PC with RTX 5090 and AMD 98003dx (let me know if you need more info on other parts) . Also have two monitors, once is 4K and the other is 1080p. Where I live I have quite a few power outages so obviously looking for something to protect my PC and monitors. Ive been looking around for UPS vs power surge protectors and not sure for which to go for and what specifically I should be looking for. I understand UPS sometimes has power surge protection yet not sure if it would be enough. Would appreciate the help
surge is for momentary power surges, UPS is backup power. so if the power goes out the UPS will give you enough time on battery to save everything and gracefully shutdown your pc. if you are doing critical work id probably do a UPS, surge protector won't do anything for a full outage
So the best pro for UPS would be that I get to save whatever im doing then?
yeah so you can do graceful shutdown. sudden outages can cause operating system corruption over time, lose data that was open, or in rare cases damage to the hardware
good to know this, I read the benefits but everyone always say about having time to save your stuff but not the other stuff you just mentioned like corrupt systems and damaged hardware. Do you have recommendatios for the # of watts and joules I should keep an eye out for?
with modern hardware I don't often see something so bad happen but it's not an impossibility. personally I just use UPS' on my server hardware
depends on the hardware, but just as a guestimate you are probably looking somewhere near the 1500-2000va range
Beaut, thanks ghosty
Mildly late, but info on controllers

Any recommendations for 1440p monitor $200 or less? Main use case would be for PS5.
1 has a 2 on the end
No clue
Im looking to get an oled 1440p monitor and i think I’ve settled on one the asus rog strix oled xg27aqdmg
Does anyone know if its any good it seems good on rtings
@hushed root
It's a very solid monitor, though I might invest on a 4th gen WOLED
Since it's supposed to last longer and be a good amount brighter
Gigabyte MO27Q28G....look it up. There's Soo many good OLEDs now, it's almost overwhelming
It's coming out on October 29th. It's worth the wait
I might upgrade myself...
Will sell for around $550

Anyone know a better monitor? If not ima just purchase this
Anyone has a reccomendation for a mouse that's wirless and has the aesthetics of a GX pro superlight
similar are atk dragonfly a9 series/pro, attack shark x8 series, mchose a7 series/ultra
It's a good monitor if your GPU can handle 4k high frame rate
I have the UCDP version for my 5090 and most games don't even take advantage of the high refresh rate
Thanks! I thought I responded to you earlier
I appreciate it
whichever youre willing to pay
ur welcome
Okay so I've got this problem where depending on the application and where the cursor is placed will scroll horizontally to the right and then vertically
Anyone got a wireless keyboard that’s under 50 dollars and has the same aesthetics as this I’m in Taiwan if that helps
Please someone 😭
what applications?
this is so pretty~
lemme look around
It's hard to find that distinctive blue, but here's something along those lines
https://aulagear.com/products/aula-f75-max
Everything
oh
It might help others get a better understanding if you filmed it on your phone or something
Will do
maybe try changing keyboard
might be a keypress from your keyboard?
Nah
I did everythingggg
Talked to Microsoft support and they told me to upgrade the system
are u on win 10?
ye exactly i found something in a physical shop but yeah
wondering which one should i get
hmm
This GX87 Mchose is getting to me. Friend let me borrow it for reviewing purposes and it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
I've never seen a MEchLands keyboard, but a couple people at my office have an Aula keyboard
found redthunder k10 for $6 at goodwill. red power light comes on when plugged in, backlight flashes for a sec when powered on, led button does nothing to toggle. esc+k to pair? flashes 3 red lights top right. can i pair directly via blue tooth or need 2.4 usb adapter?
That Aula keyborad has a battery issue actally when doing further research
not all of them just this one
oh good info, none of my coworkers have had any battery issues, but i'll let them know~
does anyone with experience with the 8bitdo Pro 2 controller know why it's not connecting in Xinput mode? I am not using a special Xbox dongle, but I cannot understand also why that might be an issue
i just connected it via USB and it worked? how strange, this is a bluetooth controller
I wish the website would let you filter out which fiber network cards are compatible with Windows 10/11...
need some good 100% keyboards. sounds good and under $100 USD
I made my laptop into Linux with a USB but I finished my classes how do I make it into a windows laptop again? With a USB?
I would assume so
Well rip my beamng days... my joystick is dead i think. 75% of inputs get dropped on beamng, 25% on geofs. Hardware testing sites do recognize the stick, but it's only getting abt half the buttons. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it?
Specific model:
MAD C.A.T.Z FLY5 Stick
@covert olive ik u play beamng so you might be able to help out
Alr chat
my monitor spekear sounds ass
and i want a sound bar
/ speaker
can anyone reccomend
it also has to be conpact
MSI MAG 275QF vs the Gigabyte GS27QA, Which one is better and why?
If you care about sound quality get good speaker monitors
I alr have the monitor before i did actual research lmao
Speaker monitors are a type of speaker
What price range were you looking at?
yup its borked
randomly stops working until i register a random input
cant find official drivers and the product site doesnt have em
so
whats like the cheapest racing wheel and/or controller I could get
(playing beamng)
For a controller I'd get an 8bitdo ultimate 2C
It's $25-30 for a 2.4G/BT/wired controller with hall effect sticks
Pretty decent haptics as well in my experience, I've used it for FH5
The sticks and triggers are super smooth and sensitive
Currently using this on the daily
The grips are slightly more inwards than an Xbox controller
But it’s great so far
Yeah the grips are a little different
I hadn't used controllers much before so it wasn't "weird" to me, and I like the feel of it overall
Alr
Yk what would be kinda cool is connecting my ps2 controllers to it somehow
But they at my grandparents house
it doesn't come in black
or very very dark gray
💀
ah well ig if i rlly need to i'll paint it
How the heck does it know
well by your previous messages I'm guessing you searched up the 8bitdo somewhere
Yup. But there are cookies/tracker things that can link info across sites
not comforting
I reccomend brave browser and either brave search or duckduckgo. The built in brave adblocker also blocks trackers, fingerprinting, all the creepy stuff
plus it has tor iirc right?
It's fairly easy to turn off all the crypto features on Brave if you don't like them.
I think so? I just use a seperate browser if I need tor though
Some really good deals if anyone is interested in some mousepads or skates 🗿
I personally really recommend the Saturn Pro and Neptune Pro mousepads
Also remove cookies after closing the browser
You can make exceptions
I have YouTube as one and that’s basically it
Also stop using gmail
How you gonna use google tek and complain about this

You gotta remember that Google is an ad company that makes other things, not the other way around

Also the reason all their stuff is free is because they harvest your data and serve you ads
