more mousepads for me to try out
would be a bit silly
i have that mousepad and another mousepad on the way and then some sapphire skates as well on the way for me to try out once i find a mouse for me to try them on
have you tried the cerapad yet
ah yeah
gonna save the sapphire skates for the la-1 superlight or some other mouse
too much stuff to buy
smh
how can you be so
well it is a hobby
i still cant decide on a mouse and its been months 💀
if you have an x2 lying around llmk
the glorious mouse?
its alright, just annoying that they released a slightly better mouse like 2 weeks after that
or was that mouse the one that was released after
idk
but spec wise it was fine, just price point, group buy, the time of when theyd ship it out and stuff was what bothered a lot of people
also in part of how i can afford or at least be able to buy mice and mousepads from time to time is just due to my current living situation. got no bills to pay or anything other than apple music and amazon prime
im not spending my entire check every time, i am saving, but decent portion goes to hobbies
would be nice though to have connections for companies to just send me stuff or at the least for reviews
You could always get a darmoshark
i think the series one pro was the better mouse
first they released model o pro right
something like that
one or the other
the one they released second was good, just dumb that they released it like that with no announcement or anything screwing over everyone that bought the previous group buy
ye ye
im almost considering it because its apparently a viper mini clone
and the delux isnt gonna be lighter than like 65g
Hi i have my airpods pro connected to my pc via a bluetooth dongle but i cant hear any sound
motherboard website?
@glass bear have you seen these? i kinda want to buy one but at the same time i have no idea if the qc is even gonna be good or if its just a scam.
$38 for f1, $46 for f1 pro and $53 for m1 pro max
f1/pro is 49g
f1 pro max is 55g
pro and pro max can do 4k polling
f1 pro has nordic 52833 and f1 pro max has nordic 52840
all three have kailh 8.0 switches
what are we talking about
did you miss an ss
on one end its highly sus but on the other hand, it do be china
they be doin some weird stuff lately with mice
also even if the specs are right, could also be just terrible plastic in order to cut costs even more
which is where im also sus
Whats the difference between the Pro and Pro Max anyway?
i want 4k but i dont know if I should get this or the more "reliable" 4k mouse
hts+ 4k
pro and pro max different chips as far as i can tell and weight though i dont remember the cause of the weight change
oh yeah and the 4k dongle isn't even released yet
until theres further reviews on that mouse, id suggest to sticking to mice that already have 4k rn like razer and gwolves
need to try out the 4k on my hsk at some point in gaming as well and not just aim labs
4k dongle dlc for my deathadder v3 pro is on the way as well so i can try that out once its here
hmm yueah
mechkeys is a decently reliable website after all
Instead of a numpad if I wanted to Could I use a old keyboard I have laying around?
For context for those willing to help
Copper and black looks really nice I think
Personally:
- Black Headband/Brown Driver
- Grey Headband/Grey Driver
- Black Headband/Black Driver
If there was a Grey Headband/Brown Driver I probably would have chosen that one as my favorite.
It’s really tough between the all grey and black/brown
@gentle jasper @tribal mesa Thanks guys
Plus I think 3 tones are better than 2
It makes things look less "flat" looking, like background objects vs animated ones in a Scooby-Doo episode
Any suggestions for having programmable keys? I'd like something like a stream deck where each button can do something different so like I can set one to mute on discord and another to record with what ever game capture I'm running and have it not interfere with my normal keyboard buttons
||PS the brown/copper driver is actually a gold plated electrode @gentle jasper @tribal mesa||
not possible since the black version is the 80th anniversary edition
not to mention that the black stators are different tech to the gold plated stuff
so it isn't just visual
it changes the way the device behaves

How much
hello
Y'all want this?

that mouse is not very good
well for $60 its alright but theres like fantech aria which is $10 more and better in a couple of ways
Oh yeah. Only thing probably good about this is the hot-swappable switches and maybe the slopped side
I might get this: not an egg fan and I need good pinky support
@primal pawn that keeb you linked in tech deals worth it or nah
100% worth it imo
Dang might have to pick it up then
Only concern is that I might be like 5 switches short 😦
I have a 65% rn
yeet
yea it was 18.99
and amazon prime so came for free in like a day
@glass bear i won my very first giveaway
won a saturn mousepad from LGG
actually just realized, i may or may not be denied of the giveaway xD
its a giveaway between lgg and maxgaming and they both did 5 mousepads each except lgg is mainly US whereas maxgaming is mainly international but we'll see. hopefully i just won a mousepad
Must be nice to win.
no way you actually won?
what are the chances that a moderator for Newegg won!?
sadge its not the saturn pro but just the normal saturn but cant complain much
SHEESH
W
now you have two saturns?
i think
no, i have mercury and venus pro
no saturn
so ill have all 3
wish i got the penus pro though
still not sure if that was an actual misprint or if someone photoshopped that
how big was it anyway?
its dhl
xl mousepad so its 500x500mm which is the size of my venus pro that i bought
great size
@glass bear does no one like the normal sized pulsar x2? theres still some left over of randomfrankp's normal size x2
red x2 all over again
checks out
dhl shipping go crazy
ye the pricing is always cursed lol
honestly yeah
Actually the normal x2 might be a little better than the x2 mini for me
but for that one week I had the x2 mini I loved it
I gotta say Schiit’s rma service is incredible. Just as convenient as amazons returns
something go wrong with ur stack ?
usb c was borked on his modi
buy a schiit stack anyways
Fair
prob will upgrade iems b4 i upgrade my stack
dx3 caught my attention but idk if that would be an upgrade or not
forgot the specs of my current stuff
Hmm
I'm conflicted between two mouse choice
Both are priced the same
Basilisk x or G305? Both wireless mice ofc
You want small or big?
I prefer small myself, big doesn't quite fit my hand
Dongle dlc acquired
I HAVE THE POWER
this is keyboard?
mouse
damn I think it's higher then mine.
not many mice rn have 4k polling
what mouse are you using?
ye the basilisk v3 pro can do 4k assuming you buy the dongle
which is what i did, bought the 4k dongle for my deathadder v3 pro
not much. its like going 144hz to 240hz on a monitor. some people can tell the difference some cant
def feels a bit smoother and more responsive but not a crazy amount
So if I ever switch to 4k it might be interesting.
i mean razer has like 2 mice now i believe that have 8k but theyre wired mice
viper and i think the deathadder
1440p or ultrawide 1440p? For gaming or color accurate work?
for gaming
What do you think about this one? https://www.newegg.com/p/3D4-0010-00010?Item=9SIA0ZWGTH7984&cm_sp=Dailydeal_SS-_-9SIA0ZWGTH7984-_-03142023
Nixeus EDG 27” Rapid IPS 2560 x 1440 AMD FreeSync™ Premium Certified 240Hz HDR Gaming Monitor (NX-EDG27240X)
$329.99 right now
Are you one of the 0.3% of people that can see the difference between 144 and 240Hz?
This is my system info:
CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS ULTRA
Memory: G.SKILL Flare X5 Series AMD EXPO 32GB (2 x 16GB)
Storage: SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS 2TB
Video Card: ASRock OC Formula Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB
Case: Phanteks Eclipse G500A DRGB
Power Supply: ENERMAX Revolution D.F. 850W 80 Plus Gold 850W
Operating System: Windows 11 Home
Honestly, idk. I have never had anything beyond 60hz. Which is what I currently have
Going from 60 to 120-165 is huge. Anything past that you're paying more for something you probably won't use.
Would you prefer 27 inches or 32?
You can get a really good 32" for $400
32
Could you please send me a link to it?
One sec I'm double checking model numbers
Best option: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824012039
That's the larger version of one of the most recommended monitors on this server.
Here's the review on the 27 inch version: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/m27q
thank you
If you wanted to, there's this one for $30 less. It's still great but not as good for things like videos.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TMKSN73
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/samsung/odyssey-g5-s27ag50
When it comes to gaming performance, the slightest disadvantage can be the difference between winning and losing a match. With a 165Hz refresh rate, lightning fast 1ms (GTG) response time and full adaptive G-Sync compatibility and FreeSync Premium support, you can be sure that the Odyssey G52A Mo...
M32q is nicer than M27q btw, rgb instead of bgr
Ooh, noted. That does make a big difference.
I didn't realize they reviewed the 32 inch too https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/gigabyte-m27q-vs-gigabyte-m32q/19668/26016?usage=3623&threshold=0.10
The Gigabyte M27Q and the Gigabyte M32Q are very similar overall, but the M32Q is slightly better for most people. The M32Q has better ergonomics, with a stand that can swivel and a wider height adjustment. The M32Q also uses a more standard RGB subpixel structure, whereas the M27Q uses a suboptimal BGR structure, which can cause some text clari...
It might be a noob question, but what is the difference here
It's marketing names for resolutions
1080p, 1440p, I think ultra wide 1440p, and 4k
ooooh I see
FHD is Full HD, 1080p
QHD is Quad HD, 1440p
WQHD is Wide QHD, probably 3440x1440p
UHD is Ultra HD, 2160p (4k)
I bought that monitor
The qc is a completely different panel btw, it's va not IPS. The M32q is the panel we were talking about
M32qc is curved and VA, M32q is flat and IPS
Right, the curved version isn't as good
isnt curved better?
VA panels are vastly inferior to IPS panels in nearly every way
Curved wise, 32inch is when it starts to make sense but personally it being curved doesn't make much of a difference unless it's ultrawide
Curved panels are usually VA because it's just cheaper to do that, curved IPS panels are a lot more expensive
ouch
cancelling order
I cancelled my order
@white flame @daring zenith what about this one?
It's good, but it's ultrawide so the use is a bit different, not everything is made with ultrawide in mind, so some things like videos won't scale nicely from 16:9 to 21:9 so you'll have black bars, some games might be stretched, that kinda thing
What is a 27" better than M27Q ?
I think I'll go with a 27" instead of 32"
and focus on other qualities over size
M27Q-X
With a 6900xt it prob won't hit the full 240 in most games but it might be nice to have for easier to run games
That can happen on any monitor
You can ask for a replacement if you get more than a certain amount of them, I forget exactly what the policy is for that one
Do you know anything good like that around $300?
sorry for bothering yall with these questions
Besides the M27Q, which is $300 right now on Amazon, there's the HP X27Q which isn't as good but still quite nice for gaming. It's $270 right now.
What do you think of this ? https://www.amazon.com/KTC-Computer-Vertical-FreeSync-Adjustable/dp/B0B18HWB9M?th=1
Make sure your gpu can handle it
useless info tho given you have a good gpu
my old post not this
Seems like it's ok but you should be able to find it cheaper https://www.techpowerup.com/review/ktc-h27t22/8.html
online homework
is an opp
i really got it wrong for being more specific than the hw
wow what a terrible wya to show screenshots
This is why automated online testing should be limited to elementary school, where rounding error isn't a thing yet
What did you order anyway
Metro boomin make it boom
i need a new mouse now to use those sapphire skates on
they gonna be bing chillin for a while
my god, you're really going places with mice now aint ya
First an hsk 4k, then deathadder, then sapphire skates
you gonna go for that VGN Pro too?
the dragonfly mouse?
was talking to veed about it the other day. skeptical on it since its 4k like 52g or whatever it was that it said for the pro max or whatever but is like $55
gonna wait on reviews for it cause high spec but low budget there has to be something they cut corners on somewhere
The 4k dongle still didn't release yet, but its coming up after
i assume its the plastic and is probably cheap plastic they used
which is why i havent bought it yet
yeah haven't heard any real reviews of it yet
waiting for reviews to mainly talk on that part or where ever else they cut corners on
mainly gonna wait until the la-1 superlight releases from lethalgaminggear for me to use the sapphire skates unless i get some mouse that i like enough to use them on beforehand
as far as i know or at least the last update they told me was they were just getting last patents or something like that from japan before they can do a full release
ye my last mic stand was a cheap basic one and was creaking and you could hear the springs and then the part that goes into the clamp was wearing down to the point where i had to overtighten it for it to even be tighten
slowly starting to droop and couldnt hold up my mic
i got cheap 30$ gas spring monitor arm for a m27q
so fairly big monitor
it has an adjustable thing that u can adjust but its like impossible to get it to move
so im basically stuck at lowest and highest height
but i solve with keyboard case as a spacer lol
kinda removes the point of having a monitor arm but who cares
huanuo and north bayou are the ones i use for my monitors
or at least the monitors that i move around
the north bayou mount is a square that perfectly fits into the square hole in the m27q which makes me happy
the more common mounts are slightly too big to fit the square
to save money i have spent
300$ on a controller
30$ on a monitor arm
15$/month subscription to play game
thank you japan
i mean...I spent 20$ for my arm stand and I'm not upset
also 300 controller didn't you buy that arcade controller game for some rythm game?
i went even cheaper
16 on ebay
still have a crappy mic but it works for my purposes
huh...apparently I paid 4 bucks on my monitor stand

wait 27$ minus 25 dollars with free giftcards from microsoft
👍
plus tax because MURICA
might try and look into seeing if im able to buy just the internals of a viper v2 pro or something and putting it into my modded viper mini
mod that thing more
im thinking about it
mechkeys seems pretty legit
😔
crying rn
why is it $60
its the 3395 edition
3395 mouse for 49 is not bad
its just that weight is
really
really not it
heard and seen it having issues with flicks tho
could buy the dragonfly mouse and give me a review on it to see if its worth buying
it's cheap cause its firmware ain't great
sales arent hitting the orochi v2 like they used to
$45 on amazon rn, lowest its ever been was $26
used to sit at a comfy $35 for a while
G304 is sitting at $30 mark rn
30-35
Orochi always seem to be 60
Unless I order from china
you dont live in US?
are you not able to just walk into the razer store and see if they have a sale?
lolno
wait no
No razer stores
wrong country
Online shops only
i was wrong country regardless
sadge though if there are no sales there for the orochi. $28 usd for a orochi is nice
im surprised they havent done a smaller version of the basilisk like they have the deathadder and viper but i guess at the same time itd probably be awkward to hold
I would be willing to do amazon if they offered free international shipping
lol yeah, it's a G502 copycat so
Can't be small
razer has increased prices on everything it seems
even viper mini costs more
Idk how good rog keris is
But god damn it's got hotswap switches
This isn't about keeb or anything, but a mouse
It costs more than I can afford but do I want that
Pay once and keep the thing forever cause switches can be easily replaced
My only gripe is it not using removable battery
All in order to save weight I suppose
Looking to convert two usb headers into one.. but one has two black wires and the other has one yellow and one black what do i do
So im guessing this is right
i..... i'm not too sure? you're supposed to have one empty pin
The empty pin will do nothing, and the other one is a "no connection" pin, don't really know what it means but ig it'd be fine, still don't get why his 2.0 usb cables have that 5th cable
Maybe this
razer released glass mousepad
my entire closet is just gonna end up being razer peripherals at this point
450x400mm for $100. wish it was slightly bigger at 450x450 or 500x500 but $100 with free shipping is still decent
pulsar superglide xl was 490x420
everything still seems to be priced the same as it were retail in both amazon and razer's online store however the mini doesnt seem to have a buy option anymore on their website so either out of stock or theyre discontinuing it\
so many glass pads entering the market now
superglide from pulsar, gamesense sonar, razer with theirs, theres the cerapad from tjexclusives
its no longer just skypad
is $100 a normal price
for glass pads?
yeah pretty much
its a pretty subjective choice though
not automatically better
glass or glass infused
its bouta be like glorious ice or whatever that lasts 10 minutes
glass
razer already has something that is glass-like infused which is their razer strider which really isnt glass its more of like plastic beads but in the same concept of glass infused

"In case of emergency, your mouse pad may be used as a weapon"
will probably buy next week when i get more moneys
wait
its on amazon as well
i could get $25 off with gift cards
also @glass bear what do you use for giftcards? i know you said surveys but what app/site? at the rate im going im gonna have to do extra stuff for more money
most of it is instagram stuff for teens
like i just did a $300 dollar focus group for like 90 minutes for college advertisements
someone had fun with the warnings lmao
time to reinstall instagram
please god dont
but
$300
thats 3 razer glasspads
rn all i do is Fetch Rewards, Bing Rewards and SOMETIMES google rewards whenever it does give me a survey to fill out which is only like 1 survey every 2 weeks
could sell my crypto but at the same time i want it to go back up so i can make some more
this is part of crypto as well but i also get some bitcoin through cashapp whenever i go to a restaurant whenever they have the boost available
the money is crazy
im not joking i made $600 last month for maybe
4 hours of work max
how do i sign up
800+ actually
Uhh
ngl its like ads
wait
how old are you
theres no way youre a teenager

facebook dont gotta know my age
basically you have to feed the algorithm
actual age*

time for second instagram account
oh god, i opened up instagram on my phone and its so weird compared to website
i havent touched instagram on my phone for the past like 2 years
only have gone and uploaded stuff on insta through desktop
LOL
yeah instagram is probably the reason i ordered q1 pro
well more like
allowed me to but yeah

thus far ive lost no money in crypto, just lost more money that couldve been made
i put money in mara
at $4
its been a couple years
lmao
sold a lot when it went to 80
and on the way down
right back to 4 lmao
theo on the other hand, i think he is down bad rn on crypto
yes
oh yeah
i got to playtest for riot in la once
but i couldnt make it because i had
math final
sadge
yeah sucks really
shouldve gotten val buddy in game
but tbh
i
wouldve gotten to play what
valorant mobile?
im good
but they paid
pretty well
like really well
but veed valorant gun buddy
they dont but would be funny
https://youtu.be/xvz8KjCpdLE classic optimum tech. just make a new shell for a viper ultimate so its 30 grams ez

I just saw this and was coming here to post lmao
He really said "fine, I'll do it myself"
At the end he said he's getting a lighter battery plus the shell design isn't fully done being iterated. I'd guess he can get it to 20 before needing a custom pcb
theres a company doing 14.5g mouse with viper v2 internals
nitrite
and its only like 190 too pretty impressive
dhl at it again
2 day shipping from china
picked up package on the 15th and its arriving today
op
Link?
Also is it wireless?
never posted in here but watched beardedbob's video on the viper mini se and now people kinda know why its at 49g instead of competing with finalmouse's starlight mini at 42g
the left and right clicks alone are 3g each

since they opted for plastic clicks with a magnesium shell and doing 2 pieces instead of just 1 whole magnesium piece like finalmouse
plastic covers for the internals as well about 1.6g i think it was weighed at
razer also opted for a solid base instead of putting holes in it
noooo
razer atlas glass mousepad is out of stock on amazon
damn, even on razer's website the white glass pad is out of stock
doubt they will, but would be cool if they added the Atlas to their line of products that you can customize
lets gooo new mousepad for me to try
Tjexclusives cerapad. Freaking smol
@west hornet you get yours yet?
Yes i got about a week ago. Happened to be just the right size for me xD
smol for me but so far not bad
def a little bit different compared to my other 2 glass pads but not bad
ill probably end up using this as a dedicated plate for my food
feels pretty smooth to me
guess so in a way
not as fast as my other 2 glasspads but def not slow
was kinda hoping the green was a bit more bright
wait
its a new color i got
Slightly faster than my hard pad but still a nice amount of control, overall surface more uniform than my hard pad but we shall see how it holds up long term
we bought them before they updated their website but they colors were already updated
on their site the new colors arent as vibrant
they really got the mw2 treatment with the solid color camos
from bright and vibrant to more mute
Lol
time to try this pad in aimlabs now and shoot circles
not lookin hot
avg score of 78k gridshot ultimate with this thing vs 80k with the current cloth mousepad im using and about 81k with my superglide mousepad
def need a sleeve with this cerapad
hand is slowing me down
I just had the pleasure of hearing audio through Corsair Void RGB Elite USB headphones and it was terrible. Please never buy them.
Normal Corsair things
lol, I've had them for a year or two sitting in the box and decided to try them cause why not
Imagine if there were headphones that boosted treble on purpose
they're the 7.1 "surround sound" version so maybe that makes a difference
hurts so good
They also don't sit fully on your ears, maybe it's a defect but they feel as terrible as they sound
not worth $80 in my opinion

Looks nice, sounds terrible
that guy is hilarious the way he is talking lol
I would be that kinda guy to have a very good headphone only to give it +10db bass boost lmao
I just like the rumble and thump so much

All the audiophiles screeching in the distance
I'm the opposite, I get a headache from too much bass
Both the fish and the waveform
I do add bass but I don't add it to an extreme where listening is a headache
It rumbles a lot cause of my emphasis on low freq
Well I mean I do boost the bass itself too, but not so much it starts sounding boxy
just almost
the entire time i was thinking we were talking about the arctis novas
if you don't mind shipping costs, LethalGaming has some white mousepads of varying sizes

yall know if static build up can cause a pc to disconnect from my dac
it disconnects with the slightest movement
when i touch the pc
It could be any one of a dozen things but usually environmental factors play a part
Cold air tends to build up static more easily, as does carpet ofc
yee
i have my surge protector on carpet but pc on desk
might try some dif since i can get a surge protector p cheap with my discount
There could also be factors like a bad cable somewhere, possibly the ground in that cheap power bar is bad
apparently logitech is re-releasing the g pro superlight in another new color 💀
gonna be yellow
why is logitech the way that they are
I WANT MY G703X
people been asking for a g703 superlight but instead they giving us new colors of the g pro and a more expensive refresh of a g502 that no one asked for

razer atlas mousepad out of stock on amazon still and white pad is out of stock on their website but is available in black still and i have a $10 gift card from them
oop
the email regarding my $10 for their store ends today. so i dont have the code anymore or its later tonight
too many damn mousepads
im settling for just 4 mousepads
$6.52 for local taxes 💀
maybe 5 if i want a glass
they do?
oh god
time to wait till 27-29 for it to be delivered
of my 3 glass pads, this razer atlas is the cheapest even without the $10 promo
paid $96.51 vs $106.51 but even still, my pulsar superglide was about $125 ish and the skypad i bought was about $140 ish
the smallest of the 3 pads but still
that free shipping from razer is nice
i have too many razer products at this point
how many mice with the name Viper?
3
right
i think
ye 3
viper ultimate, and 2 viper mini's one of which is modded
then i have the deathadder v3
not too bad
and also the razer strider
mousepad
and technically speaking as well, the hyper dongle since that was a separate dlc
no keyboard though
i used to have the blacksharks v2 headset or whichever before i switched to iems
and then switched from iems to hd 6xx
i used to also have a walmart razer bundle set because back then my setup was kinda bad and i needed better stuff. in the bundle was their chroma keyboard, a deathadder essential and one of their rgb mousepads
all 3 of which i later sold off with extra pc's as part of their bundle
OH WAIT
THE OROCHI V2
that mouse too
wait yeah how did you forgetr about that thing
havent bought anything else razer though like their laptops or pc parts
i do have someone in my friend group though that has the razer monitor
for somereason every razer product I bought backfired on me
the viper mini was too small and had no hump
the deathadder i tried felt awful
the barracuda was too small
ye deathadder i had to switch off of or at least the deathadder essential
even now with the v3 pro they changed the shape but still a bit weird for me
OH WAIT ANOTHER RAZER ITEM I HAVE
THEIR BUNGEE
i really want the orochi v2
this one specifically, not their newer rgb one that they have
i havent used a wired mouse in a minute so i forgot i had this
but it's considerably more expensive than g305
my hand is more suited for smaller mice like these
i also replaced that bungee for zowie's bungee so theres that too
sadge that the orochi v2 is expensive in your country
Is Ebay an option?
sadg
at that point i might as well get gpx with how expensive shipping gets
how much is g305 over there?
nvm, i was about to suggest looking up the fantech aria incase for whatever reason it was cheaper for you to get over there or somewhat relatively close price to the g305 but itd probably still be more expensive than both
60 usd aint too shabby for my market but not good enough for you there
besides i really want something not with lithium batt
too lazy to charge lol
orochi and g305 answers that req
i don't mind having to carry the weight
just that i kinda wished for the orochi simply because i like it more
maybe one day amazon gods will bless
i wanna just plop an aa batt in and forget it
you want my modded G305 in the shell of an xtrfy m4?
if i get something from you guys shipping is gonna be stupid expensive anyway
also just realized that maxgaming still has the starlight pro tenz edition in stock. people really arent buying them
has been saying 20+ left in stock for the past week or two now
i can bring orochi's price down to like $40 or so
but that's if i don't want warranty
ordering from china and all
it's not one of those fake stuff, just apparently cheaper over there
@glass bear tenz starlight pro small still in stock at maxgaming, people arent buying them it seems
do you want one?
nah im fine, im sure shipping will be brutal
for free sure, i aint paying $200 for potentially really bad qc issues
just veed been into the finalmouse hype train for a bit
i'll just get g305 local here
also idk but i have been seeing new mice brands popping up left and right
there's already a local brand here
what stores do you even have access to?
looks to be just another gpx clone
um well, there's quite a few but the prices are the same anyway
well yeah the
sounds like you are in like...idk the Carribean
new finalmouse is coming soon
although seriously if someone was to get a good working starlight small in 2021
i'm in thailand
they wouldve had a mouse that is still basically one of the best fps mice even now
cant tell if this varmilo vm01 mouse has a battery or not
the keyboard company?
id assume its the same company
hm
once i get the mouse im thinking of also getting mouse feets
on mechkeys they have their mice which is somewhat kinda the same as the g305. $40 usd
superglides are on heavy sale rn lmao
wonder what the pricing is like for foxy through that site
30 knocked down to $10
i would get a better mouse
instead of getting g305 + superglides
wait is thailand a humid climate
dont get superglides
dont get then
okie
then i should get ptfe stuff
ye
is there really nothing else at that price
qc is sadge
huh
delux doesn't sell locally here
yep
sadge
g305 is your best option then
do they have the fantech aria in thailand
i mean its like twice the price but
$60 for them but thats around the same as the orochi v2
which foxy would prefer a double aa over built in battery
there we go, another shop has one
yeah, i find it pain that i have to charge with my daily usage
i already have a wireless headset and it gets annoying to have to charge every few days
time to say poop it and save up for logitech qi charging mousepad and mouse
what really
orochi v2 batt life also do be kinda insane on bluetooth mode as well for just daily use stuff
p sure the aria has bluetooth too
but does it have removable battery?
time to start gofundme for foxy for the orochi v2
considering its more expensive, worse for the planet, and heavier that should be a
lmao
plus but
buying batteries probably also costs more than just charging it
in the long run anyway
yeah, altho they only cost like 2 bucks a pop for 2 pack of duracells
buy em once and they'd probably last me up to half a year
i also don't have the insecurity of worrying about my mouse's batt degrading
man if only solid state batts gets onto mice
i wouldn't be this picky in a heartbeat
people really do be interested in the orochi v2
yeah lol
there's quite an amount of people who prefers removable batt
but hm honestly, how long does the batts in mice that recharge last before they start heavily losing capacity?
my phone already lost quite a chunk over 3 years, but a phone is subjected to more heat and abuse
guess thatd be more of an issue of abuse and how hot it gets where you live. i havent really seen any issues in my mice with battery life but built in battery vs double aa is just more of convenience
however how long it lasts on a charge depends on how youre using it which is more of the problem imo
sleep mode, 2.4ghz vs bluetooth, rgb, etc
i don't like rgb much anyway
especially on something i hold with my hand all the time lmao
i would probably use it on bluetooth with game not fired up
2.4 in game
as for the heat, im worried about the summers
it can get as hot as 40c in some years
but mostly 35c
Rechargable batteries also offer less environmental waste.
my worry is just hotter climate
don't want a mouse with dying batt after using it for just a year or two
reposting from general:
any XDA profile keycaps recommendations? (PBT, rgb passthrough preferred)
You don't use an ac?
some people don't have AC
I do but only in my room
Which isn't where I use my laptop in
My setup is like on the living room's coffee table lmao
tuff lmao
do you guys have any personal reco for keycaps (under 40 usd) that would look good in a keychron q3?
A well reputed Singaporean electronics store has created a pre-order listing for a bright yellow version of Logitech's G PRO X SUPERLIGHT wireless gaming mouse. The pre-order page seems to have appeared at some point late last week, on e-commerce marketplace Carousell SG, and keen eyed members of th...
omfg lol
yellow gpx
How do people find these leaks anyway
This one is kind of understandable since it's a major merchant but there's some where people have just downloaded non-public info from specific non-published pages
drop has some keycaps around that price
theres also a few cheap ones on amazon, not sure about the quality
probably uh did some hacking into it if i had to guess?
or saw it appear briefly
eBay as well. People have already broken them somehow
Although I know there was a leak for 4 new colorway, dunno where that came from
is Sceptre's E275B-QPT168 good? amazon reviews say its bad but youtube says its good
Careful with those reviews, a lot of manufacturers have been caught buying off channels for good reviews. Amazon is also REALLY easy to manipulate.
I don't see any reputable reviewers at a glance.
What’s a good monitor for <$300 144hz 1440p that you might know of
HP X27Q
m27q
or g27q
razer atlas supposedly comes in tomorrow
Oh boy, G305 here is getting on sale in 4 days
Almost $10 off the already good $30 lmao
Unfortunately price is meh now for it
No longer under 250 :(
Nvm it's back to 210 pogg
anyone know if this mic has good quality
or what they think about it
i just installed and plugged in my lian li uni fan controller and controller for strimer cables and i see this they are in 2 seperate usb ports on motheboard so i dont think they would both be bad ports
Sounds pretty decent just going to have a bit of desk noise with that stand
its here
Sheeeesh
not as fast as the superglide but more so in line with the skypad 3.0 but more control oriented if that make sense
it be smooven tho
wireless headphone recommendations? haven't been happy with the sound of my airpods recently and want something better for when i go to the gym. looking to spend >$120
If you wanted to get a good idea
I bought a pair of xm3's refurbished a couple years ago, the only thing I don't like is the battery life
It's maybe like 2 hours tops
Cheap is relative, what's your budget?
idc about macro keys and idc about RGB i need durability and performative rather than flashy and flimsy
$60 or less
ik nothing about keyboards but the one i have came with a prebuilt and ive had it since 2014
theres a short in the wire tho and it keep disconnecting
so i NEED one
its an HP keyboard
also the A and W key are no longer resistant because the rubber under the key ripped
they are touchy now
ty
preferably under
as cheap as we can get it and tbh it doesnt need to be a gaming keyboard just a quality one
Your best bet in this budget is something like a mech keeb
Membrane sucks in both feel and durability
oh i know the goodness of mechanical
as i said i just rode this until it started giving out
and the keys didnt really bother me
I'm looking for good option for you right now
Tho cheaper mechanical keyboards sound clacky and rattly sometimes, but it's certainly not as bad as some membrane ones
oh no palm rest and if there is one detachable
because i dont rest my keyboard on a desk
its on my lap
alright
I don't recommend blue switches due to their clicky nature, but this one fits your budget (just right at it, sorry lol)
It's normally not this low in price
It has hotswap, so if the switches ever break you can buy any switches to replace
Wait nevermind, it doesn't have hotswap. My bad
the blue switch is the only one thats 60
yeup
This one has brown switch, and hotswappable
Brown is similar to membrane, but usually not as tactile with benefit of lighter actuation force
Pulsar Gaming Gears - Lunar Alloy Gaming Keyboard with no bubbles in the price tag. Designed and engineered carefully with Pro Esports Players. Built durably with aircraft-grade aluminum alloy top body. Ergonomic curved body design equipped with the CLICKY switches that have a responsive clicky p...
And this one is cheapest, but blue switch
im not informed on the different switches so ty
not sure i care too much about clackity
I would suggest going brown with more muted sound profile
But if you don't care about noise too much, blue is fine
Blue is clicky, brown tactile and red is linear, no bumps.
That's basically the basics for most keyboards
There's lots of different switches on the market, but you don't have to think too hard

Today, I'm doing an Unboxing and Review - The Best $60 Full Size Mechanical Keyboard. if you guys are looking for an awesome mechanical keyboard that is full size, has outemu mechanical switches, f...
At about 2 minute mark you can see how the pulsar with blue switch sounds
Mind you it only takes outemu switches, just in case you ever have to replace a switch
so i like brown and blue
i like blue because this guy says the actuation of hitting the key is more prevalent
he says brown has a click as well letting you know you hit the key but less aware than blue
i may just go blue as they are mass produced and easier to find and that means cheaper
Yeah, blue is usually cheaper
I would say you can't go wrong with blue, it's just louder and that's about the only issue that has always made me feel neutral about them
will any boom arm work for my Razer Seiren V2 Pro mic?
Look into which mount works. There are like 3 or 4 different ways to mount mics
But ordinarily even the 15$ ones work
So yes
what's a good around-ear bluetooth headphone (not headset, i don't want a boom mic on it, though if it does have it, i want it to be detachable)
will require the ability to connect wired, at least 6 hours of playback, and the budget is $200 cad
can be closed or open back, but closed back would be preferred
anc optional
will be mainly used for listening to music/watching videos
expecting it to be out of budget... but how is second hand pricing for XM3 in Canada?
$150-200
though iirc crinacle says that the xm3s are overrated lmao
and also factor in the cost of replacement pads for used since i don't want to use used pads lmao
otherwise, the main options I can think of personally is
- Anker Q45
- AKG N700NC
- Bose QC35 II
look, I'll put it straight forward as a XM4 owner
the sound is a bit extra bass, but Sony is incredible on ANC, can be used wired, way exceeds your battery life expectations and are closed back
they're "overrated" according to some, sure
but they're popular for a reason
- shipping it's going to be at least $200-300 rip
yeah most of the sellers are either in the us (higher base price) uk (lower price, but high shipping) and there are some brand new from japan with free shipping but still $300
wait it wasn't new, it was "like new" lmao
🗿 xm4
yeah i'm more of a neutral sound profile guy lmao
i'm much more used to reference headphones lmao, but usually they are wired and expensive
how's N700NC pricing?
used?
not extremely neutral, but not too bad (this is the M2)
honestly, buying used is almost pointless here ngl lmao
shipping always ends up bringing the cost up to msrp
and barely any sellers within canada, and if they are, usually they are sold quickly
fair
yeah prices for the N700NC is still $200+ basically
when you include shipping
might as well just buy new for any headphones ngl, especially wireless, since battery could be dubious
I have the Anker Q45 and really like them. They hit all your wants. I tried a few different bluetooth headphones while shopping around for and ultimately I liked the sound of them the best. If you have any questions about them let me know
Yeah I did a bit of research and the q45 is really the only one within my budget that fits my needs/wants
The athm50xbt2 seems to fit as well, asides from the price, but buying the refurb or used on Amazon would be more closer to my budget, only a bit over
new mousepad should come in tomorrow. new new pad. dont think they have many out
or maybe they do
only recently found out about them
I thought you just got a Glass pad from Razer!
Then again I did just buy another GPW
yeah, it's not as neutral as you want, but otherwise it's a good pair of headphones
welcome to the club
it was actually my first decent mouse
It's going to be my first decent mouse too haha
Yeah I'm using it as well
I'm upgrading my keyboard and debating between the new Razer Azoth (75%) and Apex Pro TKL 2023 Wireless (75%) and the Apex Pro Mini Wireless (60%, never used that form factor). I know that Wooting is king and Moondrop would be the most ergonomic.
They're all around $330 CAD and similar keyboards, but the Apex have dual actuation keys where you can register different inputs (from a light 0.2mm touch to a full 3.8mm deep stroke). Not sure if I'd use that feature in the end but it sounds cool in theory. I'm coming from a G915 TKL Tactile Lightspeed Wireless, the low profile and high density keys to surface area ratio isn't ideal for typing and I want to go back to an elevated profile.
As for headsets I'm gonna try the Audeze LCD-GX since I love their sound signature (LCD2-5 are all fantastic for metal). It's more convenient than using my ZMF Verite VC Closed with an external mic and a tube amp in front of my monitor
You meant rog azoth?
Razer doesn't have anything named azoth
The azoth I believe is the best gaming branded keyboard, it has foam damping and gasket mounting
Offers basically the best sound there is in the market
If you don't need all the gamer features, keychron v series is pretty good
Or q series, has qmk software
Yeah sorry Asus ROG
I have so many ROG products it's actually funny. Had the ROG 6 Pro for a bit this summer, Z790 Maximus Extreme, PG42UQ monitor
Yeah I was thinking the sturdiness would be phenomenal for typing and registration, I would get the NX Browns though
MX*
I like browns too
Not the best for gaming but sounds great and types well
I daily an outemu brown keyboard
