Not necessarily. I used to think that until I ran into a situation a number of years ago, when my wife got into a very bad car accident, and was unable for a long time to use a keyboard, where I found a utility called Xpadder, and was able to use it to connect and program her special controller, to all of her games. I'm looking to see if similar item is out there, that can keep a controller from sleeping, or not fully sleep. This is one of those things you can't just Google, as you have no name to search, just an idea that brings up 2 million hits. Looking up controller utilities for windows or Linux was my first try, so figure maybe someone here had to have similar issue, and knew maybe a utility name, or what it's called for what I need done.
Would this be good?
My mic recently broke and I'm looking for a new mic under 200$
If anyone has any suggestions please lmk
i read that as you were broke and you wanted a 200$ mic lol
@west hornet do ur job mr discord mod
help this man
I would personally take the nt usb+ from rode over the nt usb. Unfortunately it seems the usb+ is not available on amazon but can be found on sweetwater, adorama, b&h. If you are looking at usb mics I would also take a look at the elgato wave 3.
this is all assuming you are using it for voice
what are the qualities in better or higher end auido devices
if i have an eq already , what will be diffrent between a high end and a low end headset
Different frequency response, you can't eq your way out of a hardware limitation, different sound profile in general (even with eq, because of hardware, you might either have high treble or no treble for example). And imaging and sound stage aren't affected by eq.
^
I had a pair of iems that would always have very high treble even after attempting to eq it out
Although more expensive isn't always more better
What's a good Qi mousepad?
Does the legato wave 3 work with a mic stand
What’s the difference from a USB mic and a normal mic
What would you say the best mic under 200$ is
yes it works with mic stands just check the filter thread. usb mics are usually more expensive for the quality because of additional internal components and often come with proprietary software. the more professional option would be a xlr mic with a audio interface. USB mics are often more geared towards streamers or general consumers for zoom calls and such with feature such as clip guard and application output mixing software with the elgato wave. XLR setups are more to record professional venues, voiceovers, instruments, etc.
As for the 200usd mark I would say either go the usb route with the elgato, or a xlr option would be something like a arturia minifuse with a shure sm57
(there are many different combinations that can work but this was what I come up with on top of my head and you may prefer a different sound or feature set).
A final option would be a usb and xlr combo mic if you wanted to go xlr later on with popular options being Samson Q2U ~50usd, Audio Technica ATR2100usb ~80usd, and the Shure MV7 ~250usd.
oh and something else. it is better to keep the mic as close as you can but what's worth noting is the elgato wave is a condenser mic meaning it tends to pick up more background noise but also might not need to keep it as close as some of the other options i gave like the q2u, sm57 etc.
what do y'all think of this https://www.amazon.ca/Logitech-Lightspeed-Bluetooth-Wireless-Headset/dp/B08R8DQDRK/ref=sr_1_7?crid=2I5B2ZWNMX1I1&keywords=logitech%2Bheadset&qid=1675730009&sprefix=logite%2Caps%2C115&sr=8-7&th=1

Like wireless charging? Only mice I can think of are Logitech and Corsair. I think with Logitech they have a mousepad and then you can buy a puck that can go with any compatible mouse. Might be wrong on that
Yeah Logitech and some razer mice have charging pucks that are compatible with Qi chargers.
this seems awfully cheap
40 cad^
what happened to the headphones?
didnt it realize at 80usd
g435 is meh
i mean its 40 bucks
fine i guess if you really want wireless for cheap
what do you say is meh about the 435
but for 40 cad it's decent
check rtings review first and see if you like it
the reviews are all generally really positive
and most of them were based off
the headset being 80 usd
thanks dude
Dang, an audio interface is a game changer. I didn't realize I'd like it this much
Next upgrade is probably going to be some new headphones then a new Mic, hopefully both within the next year
My maudio mtrack solo is really quiet in windows but when i monitor it from the interface itself the volume is fine
I really don't want to use voicemeeter because it makes my games crash when i set the mic to voicemeeter and it makes my voice really high pitched as well
Do you have the gain set to where your voice peaks around -10db (+/-2db)? Sometimes if you crank the monitor volume on the interface it sounds fine to you at low gain, but the output will still be at low volumes
You can use something like Audacity or nearly any DAW to check gain levels
The cloud 2 is like 200 bucks in Canada
volume can also be relative, most webcam and headset mics record way too hot making it seem like everyone else is extremely quiet. It also depends on the application you are in some games and such will automatically handle volume level adjustments. in something like discord you can turn on the automatic gain control but if you are a very quiet talker and using lower end equipment it may introduce a lot of noise so you have to find a good balance
Can anyone recommend USB expansion cards? I need a few more USB-C and don’t want to spend a lot
Would something like this from Amazon be too sketchy?
If you have an extra pcie slot, might as well.
The PCB appears to say “Mode In Ching”, which is slightly concerning
It shouldn't really matter, even if it's defective, it shouldn't be able to pull enough power through a x1 slot to do any real damage
It’s only $17 bucks so it’s worth a shot
Why dont these expensive Bluetooth controllers have on and off switches? Keyboards have them, yet every single Xbox type controller, have nothing to kill the power. The latest ones I charged fully, to find out overnight they lost 1/4 their charge, and were never used. Just checked an older one and noticed same thing, and wonder why no switch to turn them off.
Normally turning off the controller is handled by the console sending a shutdown signal
Switch controllers have off switches too
The official Xbox controller can be turned off by holding down the Xbox logo
its still annoying tho
I have to hold it for like 5 or more seconds
and even then it tricks me into just blinking
i dont have batteries in my controller so i play plugged in and when im done i just unplug it. easy simple quick
@glass bear lamzu atlantis mini is sold out rn and the gwolves hsk 4k pro is sold out or at least the ruby red that i wanted so i just barely missed out on it and have to wait or get it in a different color which i can however, this month is a month that hurt wallet
pulsar just restocked their glass pad and i bought the red xl and then tomorrow the 11th, gamesense should be dropping their glasspad and i want to go for their limited drop version of it so both pads together thats already like $250~
the hsk pro is $180 not including shipping so thatll hurt if i do buy it or i have to wait even longer till next payday
could get the ninjutsu sora but only problem is its very similar in both shape and design to the x2 mini and id rather get something different for my next mouse
went with hsk pro 4k. ive been putting off gwolves for so long now ever since i found out about their hati s back in like 2018 or so and have yet to buy one of their mice. also surprisingly shipping is only $10 considering its coming all the way from china
gonna be using that as my main for a bit
Any thoughts on this monitor?
https://www.mediamarkt.de/de/product/_msi-mpg-artymis-343cqrde-2735206.html
Well first thing to know is ultrawide 1440p for gaming is gonna require quite a high end gpu, secondly I'd recommend one of these instead personally
https://www.computeruniverse.net/de/p/90848326
https://amzn.eu/d/4qLCo5w
I have a 3080
Yeah that's probably the minimum I'd recommend for something like an ultrawide 1440p
Yea I’m not going higher than that. You think that first one I posted would be good then?
Imo it's overpriced and just as good as the dell, the acer is also a nice option if flat is your taste
I can get it for $200-300 off
So what's the price you'd actually be getting it at?
Around $400 or so
Ah okay then it's a decent option
Yea I get the vat taken off. So I was like it seems like a good deal and it’s dual voltage
Dual voltage?
Yea it’s 110v-220v so I can take it back to America with me.
Oh right yeah pretty much every electronic is nowadays
Especially ones that don't require that much wattage
Yea, mine currently isn’t :/
damn
i think im waiting on the atlantis mini to restock
probably gonna get it
decently similar to the viper mini
i never understood why, but the viper mini was awful for me to use
I think the pinky placement sucked for me to use
Sometimes razer mice have disgusting quality out of the box
It's usually good, but you get the rare bad button or dodgy scroll wheel
id probably blame it on how narrow it is towards the middle of the mouse as it comes back out a decent amount and depending on your hand size its just a bit awkward. i have smaller hands so it fits fine but anyone else with bigger hands it seems to be a problem for their ring and pinky finger
I don't even have that big of hands, I'm a medium 18.5x10
on their site last night they had like 5 left in stock but only in white. they advertise they also have it in charcoal but nothing there. they also have yet to release the mini in the other colors that they have for their normal one which ill probably wait on and get the mini in one of those colors
never measured my hand but an idea of how smol my hands are, i can palm it very easily with no trouble or any part of my hand being in discomfort or hurting
i have tiny hands
So smal
Also I came to the realization that my hand had been spoiled by my g703
That shape is godly, just big
feel like you could say that about most companies
like the gprox is kinda notorious for double clicking
razer qc used to be kinda terrible though
ive heard their charcoal colors usually have better coatings
but ive commited to a white setup so i want all white
That's almost all Logitech mice. The switches they use are prone to wear issues. They can be repaired fairly easily and they'll replace it if it happens within the 2 year warranty.
Is the Hyperx haste worth 40$ rn?
Do you guys have any recommendations for a headphone/microphone combo? I’m looking into buying one for $50-$70
wired or wireless? wired, no, wireless, eh, maybe. their second version is coming out later this year. id assume its going to be priced relatively the same at around $80-$90 like it first was.
but ye, if wireless then maybe if you like the shape and feel. if wired version then no not worth
hm okay whats a good mouse for claw grips
around that ball park of $50 theres not too many actually good mice at retail anyways.
could check out some zowie mice, think vaxee is around $60-$70 but goes up to like $80-$90 sadly because of shipping
razer viper ultimate is around $60 however it has a relatively low hump so depending on your hand size it may or may not be that comfortable but its a good mouse especially for the price. it has gone down to $50 before in the past.
razer orochi v2 granted its a smaller mouse and has a slight indent on the side for your thumb to rest.
could check out some mice from gwolves however their cheaper mice are from older drops so theyll have some older sensors and switches
if you have a bigger budget then you could go for stuff like the cooler master mm712, fantech aria, vaxee like i said, ninjutsu sora, pulsar x2, lamzu atlantis, viper v2 pro, endgame gear xm2we
xtrfy i think also release a decently sized mouse thats fairly good as well
What gpu you have?
ASRock RX 6900xt OC Formula
My son was just playing some midi files on his PC, using the built in sound system that we all take for granted now a days. To think, I paid $800 for a Roland MT32, and $299 for a Sound Blaster AWE 64, early 90s, and that now a days, a similar system but better, comes on most motherboards for free.
Been so long, totally forgot what the old mother board card slots were called back then. I have a Hauppauge Win TV, and Sound Blaster cards, that won't fit today's PCI express slots.
i am 17 and have no clue what most of the things u named are lol
ive never used a sound card
so back then u had to put a card in your motherboard inorder to get audio?
Most motherboards i can recall still had built in audio but it was really bad so it was common to get a soundcard with higher quality dac and amp. But nowadays motherboard built in audio is actually usable. Although soundcards are still around today external dac/amps are more popular especially in audiophile communities so pc electronic interference is not an issue
I'm close to finishing what could possibly be a dope mouse
@neon root
they were banned but the message was still there, dyno needs to not be slow
What are some good mice for claw grip
Yea these
endgame gear xm2we Cant Find this mouse on amazon
only xm1 i can find
Oh it's a limited edition/eSports special
oo
theyve only like restocked it twice or three times on their actual website
I bought the first batch
hopefully they fix that soon but doubt itll get to that point soon
i got the hyperx pulsfire surge rn
Are these mice good for fps games? thats all i play
quite literally who theyre advertised for
ye
dang idk whihc one to order
its alright iirc. think there were some issues but not too many
oo
orochi this good?
@neon root i found $180 of giftcards lost in my email
i couldve probably snuck in the viper mini wireless
but it was a trash mouse smh
dang what did u search for
i do surveys
as a teen theres a lot that pay extremely well
i opened the amazon gc emails but never redeemed
ye however its a bit of a small mouse so if you have big hands then probably not a good pick
What headphones do you guys recommend? I am thinking of getting a new headphone for music & gaming soon as I am gonna practice the bass guitar in the near future.. Budget: about $200.
preferably wireless with support for a headphone cable.
I don't know if it has a specific name I always just called them suspension headbands
can someone help me i have a problem with my headset
What is it
suspension headband
yah you rite

But those one look weird
No adjustability
Thanks
Ultimate adjustability
does it slide in and out of the suspension strap?
Does anyone have some Headphones they could recommend me?
Budget: $200
Preferably closed back, with wired and wireless options.
It just forms to your head
It's like elasticated
ig it might be super light then
bc the suspension strap also positions where how high they sit for heavier heaphones like the HE1000
actually those have a weird cupshape
SR-009S
*I guess lil old me, must be a ghost now. 🥹 *
I've had my Orochi for 6 months. about a month and a half ago I started experiencing double click issues that have gotten worse and worse. While it's a great mouse.. be aware that this happens. You can also get a mod kit for it to make compatible with wireless charging instead of having to use batteries for it.
By any chance do you know of any good ones, looking to replace my old ones cuz one side died, only one I've found so far is the ATH-AVC500 but there's like a singular review i can find about it
I guess as well as the ATH-AVA400 but i have a clicky ass keyboard so don't think I'll enjoy open back
Trying to stay under €100 preferably but have a hard cap at 150 if it's really that much better sound/comfort wise
Actually review seems like a strong word lol
I have a headphone with a suspension strap and its nice and compfy but a a bit out of budget
I don't know of any specific standout options in the price bracket but from a few quick searches you might want to look into something like the philips x2hr or one of the cheaper grados like the sr60x/sr80x
and now is where i just read that you would prefer closed back
idk what the euro translation is but there are the meze 99 neos which are at the higher end of your budget but looks like it would fit for comfortable closed backs. From what I remember hearing from of meze's earlier headphones didn't have the greatest tuning but you can research that further
is winRAR Safe?>
yes but 7zip is just better anyway
So i can download 7zip instead
even though it says WinRAR
last time i used WinRAR it made my computer slow af
https://www.7-zip.org/ this?
ye
bruh theres so many
top one whichever type of system you have
windows 10 pro 64 bit
ill have a look thanks
uh
thats normal behaviour
you should be able to right click and extract with 7zip
7zip > winrar
Yea this gwolves mouse isnt for claw grip xD
What? What mouse did you get an hsk?
While competitive gaming what was the solution to hands sweating a lot even with AC blowing directly at me
get a mouse with holes in it

Ant man quantumania spoiler
||how many holes do you have||
Sassy ^ thats for you
10/10 reference
idk what either of you are talking about
Mow.
for any audio people here, how much of a difference would i really see with the sennheisers
Take your in-game audio seriously with this SteelSeries Arctis Pro gaming headset. Its high-resolution speaker drivers with neodymium magnets produce dynamic audio details at 10Hz - 40kHz, and its ski-goggle headband and AirWeave ear cushions provide long-lasting comfort. The ClearCast microphone...
the headphones themselves are exactly the same price, though i'd have to get a dedicated microphone if i got the sennheisers, so probably another 80cad roughly
and my main thing is comfort, not neccesarily sound quality
I need an opinion: JBL LIVE 660nc or Jabra 85h wireless
nvm i just ended up buying a pair of 599s lol
theres quite literally a gaming mouse with a tiny fan in it to keep your hand from sweating
that's awesome
my main headphones broke so using my back up needing a new pair looking at the dt990 pro but there open back and don’t know how that would play back into my mic while streaming and seeing mixed reviews on them or the corsair virtuoso (looking for something with good sound quality and comfortable to wear for long periods of time with glasses)
the audio coming out of open backs isnt loud enough for the mic to pic it up unless you mic is close to the side of your head at high gain
virtuoso wouldnt really recommend
What would you recommend I was also looking at the nova pro wireless but good god tho are pricy
I need some recommendations as well because my main headphones broke too
I really like the look of the dt990 but worried about the sound
I just tried on and tested The steel series nova pro wireless and they were amazing but with $340 price tag not to sure
i'd rather get the arctis pro and not the nova pro tbh
340 dollar price tag aint my style
its like either that or i get a g733
but since like my entire setup is steelseries (keyboard and mice) then i might as well just get arctis pro
Yea the arctis nova pro was the ones I was looking at
think 770's would be better to get than 990's imo but dont know too much on them but i do know one of the models people dislike more than the other iirc which i think its the 990's
also, if you were to get either one, make sure to get the 80 ohm version unless you can run the 250 ohm version
Yea I might go with the 770 but I’ll get a amp for them eventually will have the xlr
Think the 770 are closed back
Only dt worth going for in the price range is the 880s
If you want close back for around the same price, k361/71 are significantly better
Thanks I’ll check those out
Headphones discussion?
I have the 770’s-80ohm and they’re my favorite headphones. Personally, I love the sound and always end up coming back to them
Well might as well ask, any headphones around the $50 mark that has somewhat okay build quality and aren't painful to wear? Not concerned about audio quality since my ears are pretty damaged
Looking to pair with a FiFine T669
TBH anything at this point is probably better than my Razer headset
One thing I always like to point out when discussing headphones is that it’s really all based on your preferences. Getting opinions is a good place to start, but in the end you just have to try them out and figure out what sounds you like
Have you used open-back before? It would take an awfully sensitive mic to pick up the sound coming from it. It’s really no louder than if you were to take an earbud out of your ear. In general open backs have slightly less bass, but have a better soundstage. Although, I’ve been seriously impressed with the soundstage of the 770’s. There’s been plenty of times I’ve thought sound was coming from somewhere other than my headphones
Hyper x is pretty good for that price range
Yea I’ve been thinking the 770s 250 ohm with amp but came across the the 700s and you don’t have to have a amp
Been recomended that, but since I got a dedicated mic I'm looking for just some normal headphones without a mic
theres some that the mic is detachable youll just have to look at the specs to make sure your getting the right one
Noted, thanks
I feel like hand gunk and grease will become an issue
Won't be a problem cause you got ventilation at the first place
somehow hand gunk and grease has been more of a problem on my viper ultimate than my model o wireless, the slivers on the side of the rvu really likes to trap gunk for some reason, with the mow, there really wasn't anywhere for gunk to build up that you can't just blow away
It's simply to do with it being more open
Less chance for gunk to collect cause it won't be able to
wash your hands more often idk
Are we looking at a new champion? Or does sennheiser make some strange moves?

Did you see my brothers build?
nope
darvan's one shocks me every time
holy the honda civic of pc's

I was gunna suggest that to him, but he’s against it since he spent like wayyyy too much on those corsairs
I cable managed them; hell btw.
They have the stealth mousepad you could just draw with some tip ex on that for the same look
Hi,every one
ye
already sold like last week
lot of people dislike it and some like it. the pricing was $280 which a lot of people were mad about for some reason even though it was a limited drop with a bunch of stuff in the box
also not a plastic body
but there were some people just upset that it was 49g with a bunch of big holes in it even though its made out of magnesium
ye
I don't know a lot about manufacturing but magnesium alloy or whatever they're using has gotta cost way more than plastic
ye
not a super super high price in comparison but it does cost more than plastic and takes a bit longer to make
finalmouse theirs was priced around $190
pwnage released a magnesium mouse as well recently at $180
my question is, was this a cash grab or something they took pride in
it was a passion project they said since it takes a while to make magnesium mice as well the cost of it
for razer
pwnage, im gonna assume theyll continue trying to produce them as right now theres really no one making magnesium mice besides the 3
also for the past like year people have been wanting the viper mini wireless so they decided to try magnesium instead of going safe route of plastic
guys i need some help, i want to buy my first wireless mice wich one is a good choice? dont need to be much expensive
I still find it funny that people exist who WANTED it to 300$
well again, limited run, magnesium, and its not just a mouse and cable. comes with other stuff too as well as their first ever set of glass skates
which hopefully imo would be cool to see if razer enters the glass skates market
Small or big?
also not many mice have 4k still and razer having a really good sensor and 4k
if it was $280 for just the mouse and cable then ye thatd be a different story
i think normal i dont know that is big lol
I just find it so bizarre that a mouse could cost that much, since even finalmouse costs around 200
But I understand if Razer is utilizing the best that they have
well finalmouse also only has a mouse and cable. again, the razer one is limited and comes with other stuff
plus finalmouse also has had multiple drops/releases vs razers first
I see them on sale on Reddit all the time
If you are willing to use 50bucks, gpro wireless lol edition
If cheaper, you can go for a g305 or basilisk X
in the future we'll just have to see how razer prices the viper mini wireless if they sell just the mouse and dongle from then on
for a mini version mouse what is the recommendable size of a hand?
signature edition is only 1337
Have they announced an actual wireless mass produced viper mini?
nope
they do know that people want the mini wireless though so probably in the future
hopefully soon though in q2
my hand is 7 inches
No real size hand recommendations, maybe under 18x10cm is better
I see this one but is mini, thats why im asking
Without superglides are in 44 bucks, is a nice deal
Oh in that case...
Glass skates are nice but they tend to slide on their own
First mice?!
If you like ergo mice then yeah that works. I would recommend the standard one personally
standard you mean in size or the glides?
Standard xlite v2 mini
Razer Orchi v2 is a nice small light egg mouse. Wireless. It does use batteries though, however you can get a mod kit to make it wireless.
Thanks man i'll be check this one to
poop it, gonna get it. gonna match red superglide mousepad from pulsar that i have and also havent used an ergo mouse in so long
and i get to try out 4k
assuming my hsk pro 4k doesnt get here before
comes in next thursday, march 2
faker
but is your superlight red and faker edition?
no
Looking for a kvm to suit my needs, am I in the correct channel?
dear lord thats an expensive boi
enjoy! never found a liking to ergo mice except the g703
any suggestions for headsets?
under like 80
i was considering arctis 3 when they go on sale again
but i saw there were novas also
could try and look at hyperx and their headsets. they have decent headsets and i think its their clouds or something else that goes on sale that are pretty good and really popular
ye, price of faker i guess and also considering its their first ever red mouse. i think its their first red mouse. they tend to do black, white and then sometimes quartz
but also still relatively new mouse. lightweight ergo with 4k. $150 as is for the black or white
ive really only ever used 3 ergo mice which was the steelseries rival 700? razer deathadder essential and a mouse called shark force 2 from a company called sharkoon
ever since the model o-, ive been an ambi boi since
Has there been any announcements on a non se viper mini wireless
nope
rip
i wonder how heavy a non se will be
despite all the cutouts and material, the se is still a decent weight
woah i gotta move my newegg server up i didnt see ping
yeah i was really thinking about getting this mouse too for some reasonn
my friend funny enough has been thinking about buying the deathadder v3 but i dont think he knows about this release since he thought about buying the mouse like 2-3 months ago and hasnt really talked about it since
and he's been grinding league for the past like 2-3 months as well
AND
his favorite color is red
to the point where its his personality to have red in everything he has or does
hence why i bought it and didnt tell him about the mouse
quite literally the perfect mouse for him rn, lol
next month or the month after ill finally buy a vaxee mouse and try it out
either gonna get one of the older models or the new wireless one
more than likely a wireless
Would be a perfect 🎁 for a friend. 😛
I need help with my hyperx cloud alpha I plug them into my pc but the volume isn’t working good
Like it sounds horrible
expected to launch in the summer
no details about pricing, weight or whatever
but they did note that magnesium alloy didn't make a major difference
in case it's interesting, Sharkoon is a brand owned by German retailer Alternate
they're... known to be cheap for the most part
I'd go towards Cloud II at that price, Amazon warehouse often has them way below that... but do watch out that they include earpads 😄
MH751/MH752 is nice as well... same manufacturer with better drivers, but lacks a bit in build quality compared to the clouds
Still need help
Tried on any other device?
Not yet I’ll try on my ps4
But I may of deleted the the audio driver because it messed up my drivers with my headset before
Like the realtek driver?
Reinstall realtek drivers if you deleted it before
If it works on PS4 and not PC it's most likely drivers and a chance of something being wrong with the integrated audio chip
expensive gift for a friend that doesnt know how to spend their money
reason why im not telling him about the mouse is cause i know he'll buy it immediately even though he doesnt know how to spend/save correctly
makes sense. I knew how to do this.. until I got a girlfriend.. now it seems like all that training has gone out the window lol
training aint out the window for me
he got into a car crash (fender bender) about 4 months ago. still hasnt gotten it fixed and because of the time thats passed he isnt able to claim the insurance
but yknow what he did have time for
spending $10 on a Sentinels skin in halo infinite that he has about 30 minutes played on because we were playing forge mode with other friends
and other league skins
and a battle pass for a game that he barely played
he's just bad with money so i try and tell him to not buy stuff or show him stuff but yknow
somehow someway he ends up buying stuff thats not needed
Does your friend happen to be my girlfriend? xD
I fixed it btw it was the front panel audio jacks they didn’t work so I plugged in my motherboard
Cool
@glass bear hsk 4k pro came in. compared to viper mini brick and g pro supermid
first impressions, me being a scroll wheel jumping boi, this is it for scroll wheels
pulsar x2 was my favorite scroll wheel. this one beats it.
gonna be really weird soon in a bit since im getting the deathadder v3 soon so ill be switching between this fingertip and an ergo mouse for the next few months
Damn I wished my hand allowed ergo mice.
i havent used an ergo mouse in a long time so itll probably be really weird
last i used an ergo mouse i think was like 2016/17
Which mouse?
I needed the heaviest mouse I could get to help break my habit of lifting the mouse. G502 is perfect for me.
Last time I had a model d I got finger cramps
i was using the rival 600 and then ever since i got the model o-, i never switched back to a heavy or ergo mouse since
did 3 runs at 1k polling and switched over to 4k and beat my high score first try. coincidence? i think not
4k the future of mice
sheeeesh
i need more space in my room. my small drawer that i use for pics is too small for mousepads
oo
Decided to get one of those foam break away cases for my Steam Deck, instead of getting one pre-Made. The ones that look like gun cases. The few I seen, seem to only give option for dock or power bank, and only micro SD slots. The impact space between the foam and deck and hard plastic, just 1/4 inch. Not comfortable, especially seeing one of my tablets still cracking due to corner impact. Measured for Steam Deck, enclosure, 3 NVME and micro SD mini case, dock, power supply, headset, two controllers, cables, 70 mah power bank, keyboard, with 1/3 room to spare for extra items.
ive given up on getting a new mouse for the time being
gonna get a new keyboard now 😎
Get a keyboard with mouse combo.
Nm, ignore me.
Get a macropad. Save space, not money
thinking about getting another custom keyboard as well at some point but at the same time theres other stuff i need to get to like buying some music. rn my second pc is using a keychron k6
thinking of swapping it out for a custom keyboard but at the same time i really dont have much space
deathadder v3 pro comes in wednesday. hopefully tomorrow
ye after asking around https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-q1-pro-qmk-via-wireless-custom-mechanical-keyboard?variant=40378290634841
Keychron Q1 Pro is a full metal QMK/VIA wireless mechanical keyboard. Customize any key or create macro commands through VIA software as usual, and connects the Q1 Pro with up to 3 devices through Bluetooth for seamless multitasking across both Mac, Windows, and Linux.
im getting this in white
gonna switch out ugly keychron caps though
i have the non knob version just sitting on my shelf
no just q1
ah
i got it when it first came out but after using it for a bit the bezels were too big for my liking so now it sits on shelf
ic
ima swtich the keycaps out for these
sheeeesh, 100k soon?
Which headphone type is better? TYGR 300 or the MMX 300
I do already have a standalone microphone so I won't be using the one on the MMX 300
If you know of any other gaming oriented headphones that are better than those please let me know
ye. its the only one i play because my friend takes it seriously so i play it just to try and get better scores than him
damn
we both use the same sens of valorant 0.5 but he uses 800 dpi and i use 400
how big a mousepad do you use!?
typically if i can, id prefer 500x500mm
some i have are around like 420x490 or something along those lines
somewhat recently, dont know when or why it started, but ive been playing more towards the top of the mousepad but i mainly used to play in the middle of the mousepad and would use a large chunk of the mousepad, mainly left and right and at times going towards the bottom
i guess i need to get good, I've been playing with my arm either at the top of my TABLE or bottom of it
was about to get a deskmat
idk how people can do bottom of table, i feel as though thats asking for your wrist to get hurt or something
I play at bottom of table, my wrist just hangs on the edge of the table, chillin, so my arm is in line with my hands, and the wrist doesn't have to bend up unlike if your arm was flat on the table
move arm up if you have to move up instead of wrist
i never learned proper gaming position
im currently slouching on my really bad (free) office chair with my arm on the rest and my hand at the tip of the table
sounds like easy arm and wrist pain unless its very aligned with the arm rest not being lower or higher than the table
my arm rest basically goes under my desk and even with my desk at its lowest, its still like an inch taller than the highest my arm rest goes
my desk is actually only an inch tall so it works out
like this
horrible drawings but you get the point
I have no arm rest
second one is
It's how I play
sounds like good wrist pain for future
Wrist is chillin and doesn't really have to bend
Haven't had any wrist pain playing games so far in the past like 5 years
Of course symptoms can take several more years to appear but it's fine so far
i cant even find a position thats comfortable for me to try and even do that even with me lifting my chair
poor wrist
my arm is just bending down
In my position, the wrist is kind of at a natural angle, it's like laying flat on your bed
at least it feels like it
the real question is, where is your elbow in comparison to your shoulder
Below and forward
someone told me to have straight arms when using a computer, still dont know why
I would prob say I'm at 100-120 degrees at my elbow
I'm kinda short so that might play into it
i usually slouch so i hit around 110 too
how i am
unless im playing towards top of my mousepad then my arm is a bit more extended forward
My chair is always leaning back which i hate, but my arm is usually flat
lets gooo, finally cracked 90k score
less than 24hrs with this mouse and already beat my old high score and kept breaking more scores that ive been doing with this mouse
just need to work on going faster, i have slow ttk
you using the hsk or deathadder?
hsk
holy ### really?
deathadder comes in wednesday or hopefully tomorrow tuesday
it actually works well as a gaming mouse!?
yeah
the 86k high score that i had before i managed to get with the pulsar x2 mini
beat it within 4 tries of using this hsk at 87k
then 89k
and now 91k
Me when chair
all scores using the 4k polling on this mouse

me when lower back pain
ive only fell asleep twice in my chair and it was in a gaming chair so i was able to recline back a bit. have yet to fall asleep in this office chair which isnt able to go back far enough
both times ive woken up in my gaming chair i had amazing neck pain
Mesh op
I don't get back pain cos comforms to my wretched train crash of a back
LOL
i need to go to the bank thats near me at some point and ask what chairs they have because ive only been inside once and i think the chairs they have are steelcase chairs
if they are, then ima ask if they can give me a call and give me any chairs they plan on throwing out
they looked similar to the steelcase gesture. would be nice to have one
Sheeeesh. Came in today instead of tomorrow
Feels weird using an ergo mouse
Ergo big mouse at that compared to the smol boi
Noice
aw it actually looks fire
i was actually considering buying that thing
but i need a lighter mouse
i think im gonna buy the delux mouse
thought you said you were gonna buy a keyboard
might actually consider buying a finalmeme mouse if their new mouse is relatively the same shape as this gwolves hsk or their version of it anyways. after having spent time with this hsk its been growing on me and i actually like it
thought itd be the opposite where id try it and over time dislike it but so far its probably top 2 mice for me. scrollwheel wish was a bit taller but cant really fix that when trying to save every gram
will see what the shape is for new finalmeme mouse is and how their qc is like for the first round
also, just found out, dont know why i didnt bother to check before, but deatheradder v3 pro dont have hyper dongle
even faker edition with it being more expensive
sadge
need to buy at some point so i can use the 4k polling
The deathadder v3 is super nice
i can buy both
i just put my order in for the q1 pro
personally not a fan of 75% as a layout
function keys too easy to replace with a layer
cant see myself ever needing them to be dedicated keys
huh. I'm the opposite
I love having the Functions keys at my disposal so i dont always have to press fn for keys like, Alt F4 or screenshot, fullscreen, volume
I still use my F keys a lot too. Many games still use them as quicksave shortcuts.
what kb are you using now
i like having the extra space somehow
everything seems less cramped and compared to my 60% the extra space it does take doesn't make a diff
i like my 60/65% keyboards. saves me a bit more space on my desk for my mousepad. and whenever i do need a function key, everything is within reach of my fingers without me having to stretch out my hand or reach over for a key
65% vs 75% is like
i havent smashed my mouse into my keyboard in a long time with a 65% compared to my 75% and full sized keyboards
not even an inch
its enough for me to not smash my mouse into my keyboard
again, enough for me to not be smashing my mouse into my keyboard
How little space do you guys have to have to smash your keyboard?
I use a 100% keyboard and my mouse rarely ever makes contact with it even with as little as 6*8in of space to move my mouse within.
My mouse very rarely hits my keyboard, but only if I'm not paying attention to where my mouse is
ive been using the kbd67 lite again lol
but i might get a prime e but havent asked too many people about it
i have a good amount of space, just a matter of what dpi i use because i be swinging my arm
rarely do i ever need any of the keys that a full size or even 75% has. even the keyboard i have now it has arrow keys and i barely use them
Ahh so you're one of dem mouse flickers.
I make use of my full size keyboard but yeah I agree if you don't use the extra keys the keyboard has to offer then it makes sense.
One of my biggest issues is that when I play things such as Modded MC I actually don't have enough keys.
problem with modded mc is the fact that 20 different modders all decide to use the letter b for their keybinds
i know they dont work together and stuff but like holy i feel as though there are so many overlapping keybinds with modded mc
Yeah lmao.
I play with like at least 70 mods and having to set keys for each mod you sure run out of keys very fast.
I kinda wanna try out a keyboard that also has a top section to it.
So like if I raise my finger over my keyboard it makes contact with a trigger for extra keys.
i mainly change whatever it is i actually need or do use. dont know of the specific mod but it has like artifacts and uses vbn as their default keybinds and i dont ever use artifacts from the mod so i change them to something obscure like shift+fn+alt+[ and then i can use vbn for something else
I see.
For me, left side of keyboard is for active use/quick access for things like combat and right side is for utility use and the such a.
I usually do a lot of combinations like Ctrl+letter since for me Ctrl is easy to access as I have hypermobillity.
So like the right side of my keyboard for mods is just covered in combinations with CTRl.
right side for me is just normal keybinds and stuff that i dont need immediately no matter the game unless i set something up with an obscure keybind
like for modded mc ill leave the map to default with m instead of changing it
or if its something that i do use or isnt needed right away i can set it up to the right side like ; or something else
so my friend has tried a few usb headsets, but for some reason all of them sound way worse than they should be (e.g. hyperx cloud 2 wireless)
they aren't an audiophile, and all the usb headsets he has tried all sound horrible, on both the front panel connector, and the mobo usbs
they have sound enhancements disabled and the bitdepth and frequency at the highest settings, and have tried a fresh install of windows, but it all still sounds "like a microwave" or smth like that
well, not "like a microwave" but they say it sounds compressed/dull
with a side of static
it's a usb transmitter type of headphone, and not bluetooth
Random surround sound stuff like windows sonic disabled?
And maybe try isolating the headphones, unplug everything else but the headphones
yeah it was
seems like they've returned the pair and have given up for now
Does anyone know how I can fix this sound of static? It's not noticeable when something is playing but if I don't have any audio playing I can notice it. My headphones are the Razer Blackshark V2. USB transmitter for connection. Thank you in advance.
I lowkey miss mine
I gave the board to my gf
did yall break up or smtt
real
id probably get the nari
hyper x cloud core
DO NOT GET THE KRAKENS PLEASE
I beg there so bad

These two are the same items but with an extreme price difference I'm not sure why
It's like a 300$ price difference for me
(cad)
@glass bear it’s slowly getting worse and worse as I let the days go by and I collect more mice
Do we need an intervention
I'll be happy to help in your healing process by taking one off your hands
LMAO
dont you have a shelf or something
uSE IT
also
real viper mini wireless coming soon
"real"
Instant buy
depends on weight and price for me
they do a 3395 sub 60g for like $60 to $70?
instant
oooo
You mean you don't just shove them all into a shoebox and put it right next to the other jumble of wires and peripherals?
the mice themselves i put into a display box and stack them. but the dongles. the dongles i had a plan to keep them organized and clean and one day i had to move everything and its been a rats nest ever since
I'm getting the artic nova pros
The wired ones
Yall think I should or shoulden5
My main use is gaming as I use other earbuds for music
depends on what you currently have for gaming
I have the arctis nova pro wireless, bit uncomfortable if I wear them too long which is... unfortunate, sound is great tho! Not sure if the wired and wireless have huge differences but I like most things about it excluding the default leather muff things
Could also just be my sensitive ears though that makes them uncomfortable
Ah what do you mean by long like 2 hours or like 6?
Normally my gaming sessions last 3 hours
I think the main difference between the wired and the wireless is the wire and the battery's

Like every 30 mins I have to adjust them to stop the pain, like I said though could just be me. They feel comfortable initially
I don't see any sound difference myself between wireless and wired audio
I have an arctis 1 wireless myself
we gonna be a lil group
the only reason i got wired is becuase its much cheaper
more than 350 cad for me
oh hm
thats going to be interesting they come today so ill let you know if i have that problem
yeah I only got wireless because I've always used wired and wanted to try something new, pros and cons to it.
when i was watching a review the guy mentions that the ear cushions aren't the best
yea def
the wireless with these are nice though because 2nd battery always charging in the thing it comes with
so there's never down time waiting for it to charge
yea ive heard thats really good but that also adds to the price
yea 350 💀
uh
is it usefull?
honestly I just left it completely stock and don't mess with anything except volume occasionally 💀
ah nice lol
definitely does have nice surround sound and everything though
mhm
I don't use the mic it comes with so I wouldn't know of its quality, probably not the best
thank God its hideable though
wait you think its not the best mic quality?
hm
yea i guess so
always best to get a standalone mic, they aren't too expensivw
even the $50 ones are good
i mean they kinda are
but then you also need a stand
and they take lots of space
cheap stands too
oh dog
Steelseries headsets has decent mic for casual discord chats
If you're seriously making vids, I would just get standalone mic
Idk what I said here
Fifine has a lot more better options
cheap stands suck
Not the one I got 🤷♂️
Been holding up for like 2 years now
Does its job
cheap stands tend to creek have spring ping and are very prone to wear and tear
cant relate
any arm under like 50$ gonna have some of those issues
lemme see how much the one i got was
oh wait it came with the mic
but the total was only $50, so the stand is surely like less than $15
what are some good budget Xbox or PlayStation controllers with paddles?
yo i got the headset
its really good theres only two things i dont like
the mic is very flimsy and cant be adjusted
also the wire is like really bad
i gotta change it with a braided cable
like my mouse
its so worth tho
amplifer was funny to setup lmao
got the wired version. its really good!
I have a Q2U and have gotten high praises for the sound quality during chats and hobby recording. I used it using USB for a couple years and recently switched to XLR, both sound great.
My only complaint is that after 2 years of use the headphone-jack on the actual mic started cutting out the left channel unless you had it positioned a certain way. So be gentle with putting strain on it.
But let me tell you, once I used 0-latency mic monitoring it’s impossible to go back to not using it. It’s so nice!
hey im looking for a headset or just headphones that are really good for gaming i do not care about the mic bc i have a standalone just want pure sound quality i dont really have a price range and if i need to get an amp that is okay
Personally I really like the DT 770 Pro's, but some people here (wrongly lol) have opinions against them. They also have the 990's which are the open back version if that's your thing. Go for the 80ohm or the 250ohm if you get an amp of some kind.
HD650 or HD6XX I've heard are good but I haven't tried them. Best thing you can do is buy from retailers with a good return policy and go for the one you think you'd like the best and return it if you don't. Headphones are like Ice Cream, there are many different flavors and everyone likes something different
My usb microphone isnt being detected by windows but other USB devices are, does anyone know what the problem is?
Usually one of three things. No driver, bad cable, or bad port.
i think it might be driver because when i plug it in or out it makes the device sound
Yep that tracks with a missing driver. Open up device manager and see if a yellow triangle on an unknown device pops up.
nothing pops up
Look under sound, video, and game controllers
Is the microphone named there or only generic names?
i see it but it is greyed out
it just says usb condenser microphone
Right click, properties, it'll say why
it says it isnt connected
Could be that it found a generic driver that doesn't work for that model then
Which model is it?
the Maono AU-A04
Make sure there isn't a power switch on the mic or a mute button that needs to be turned on/off
it doesnt have one
The website does have a software called Maono Link should I download it?
Their manual is completely terrible
btw it just stopped working today it worked fine yesterday and I have had it for a year now
Ah, that could point to a bad cable then. Has it been moved around or bumped a lot?
A little it might just be from its use for a year
It's worth trying the software but I don't have high hopes that it'll be helpful
Considering the English manual says "how to setting on computer"
It says it uses a standard USB B to A cable at least so finding a replacement would be cheap and easy if that's the case.
See if gently wiggling the cable in each direction on the mic gets it detected.
Even stationary cables can go bad if there's too much stress on them and they're poorly made
I might just cut my losses and get a new microphone
It is still a $100 microphone so personally I'd try a 50 cent new cable first before reinvesting that much
yes
its insanely overpriced on their website
Au-a04 USB microphone is designed for podcast live show on YouTube or recording your sound track for vocal work, as a entry level of podcast microphone, it's accompanied with a metal shock mount, pop filter and a high quality boom arm which can be used for other USB microphones as well. Ok yeah $50 is a much easier to swallow loss to me
Would any cables inside my pc cause any problems?
Because I got a good deal and I moved my pc into a new case
Probably not as long as you're plugged into the back of the PC and not the front
Okay
Free same day shipping if you want to try it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003BXPQF2
A great value on high performance USB 2.0 compliant cables. These reliable cables feature Gold Plated Connectors for corrosion resistance and heavy gauge wires for years of reliable use. yes I will try it and if that doesnt work I will just find a new one
Sounds good. Good luck.
I dont know what the hell happened
I just went to close out the device manager and it said the microphone was working right
Its working now
I dont know how
but its fixed
lol
If you're ever looking for a new mic I use the Samson Q2U and highly recommend it
Well if it happens again you know where to start troubleshooting
or just buy a normal keyboard and a 170 hz 1440p monitor
Im cool
@glass bear maxgaming has some tenz finalmouse editions in stock at msrp. Only 20 left rn of me posting this
not worth
new finalmouse being announced in like a month or two
at this point ive had the m800 for so long i dont even mind wiating a bit more
at this rate itll be 2043 and youll still be using the m800
do mice last that long!?
I was expecting him to buy ANOTHER M800 rather than get a different mouse
he was thinking of getting the updated version that theyre releasing but at the same time finalmouse is gonna announce their new mouse
gonna be applying for my first credit card soon
gonna be buying all the mice now
Hsk 4K pro is able to balance on the chin of my monitor
You guys got any recommendations on some good ear buds for music?
My mom is asking for some earbuds but I don’t know what to get her lol

You can change out switches when they get worn out. It could in theory if you replace moving parts like that.
LOL
hey i got to ascendant on it
it cant possibly be THAT bad
which really it isnt
not impressive
u dont even need good aim until ur like imm3
Me over here chilling at peak Plat 1...
skill issue tbh
Tbf it's my first first person shooter
Cod is the only similar game I've played and I have maybe 200 hours play time total in multi player in cod games I've played
@neon root hey i just picked up a new modi and magni heresy im having overcurrent issues with it, the modi specifically did you have any issues with yours?
bro just aim better
what
its a controller
thats why shipping is 100 dollarsp
dhl?
havent had any issues with mine
did you not have problems with it at one point?
lethalgaminggear still has the red version of the pulsar x2. does no one like the medium size?
well for red anyways
they sold out on everything except the normal size red
at this rate i might as well just buy that mouse for you
or buy it for myself and send you my x2 mini
Fm is cooking some new stuff ?
suppose to be a 29g mouse. i think 29g is what veed said. im gonna assume its gonna be something similar to the gwolves hsk shape where its fingertip
think i got a dud, pretty sure the usb c port on mine is shorting
Tried flipping the cable?
I know it's supposed to be universal but I find it helps in certain devices
Interesting
I’ve been holding off for the viper wireless but might pick some up some dif
ultimate has gone down to like $50~$60 quite a few times and sat there for a while
v2 pro has gone down to like $110 before
Ye
I was hoping late q1 at the latest but rip
I’m in no rush tho bc ima upgrade some other peripherals b4
well they had the signature edition of the viper mini wireless but youre out of the window for that already
unless you want to buy one from a scalper
things are going for like $700~$900
i could with what was in the box but already had 2 mice on the way already and mousepads
and also had work when it the buy window was open
if it was $280 for just the mouse and dongle then no i cant justify it
but everything that it came with i could
My mouse is fine, the switches jus aren't as crisp as they use to be
Am I dumb or is this a Macropad?
What the heck are you gonna use that for anyway>?

worth it
well the scroll wheel

ive gotten a replacement twice
for free ofc
but ive had this one for well over a year now and its been good
saw the boardzy edition x2
that thing seems nice they fixed the switches
finally got around to actually playing fps games with the deathadder v3
thus far, its good except on the pulsar glasspad
it doesnt track at times however has only happened like 3 times
no issues on a cloth pad
also got to 1v1 my friend in csgo finally. was pretty funny
mainly trying to troll him
Sorry I don't know squat about audio, but can anyone suggest some good earbuds for $100-$150. Battery life, comfort, durability, and noise canceling are all priorities.
Air pods pro (renewed) or on sale, or pixel buds
wireless is tough
