idk what might be in stock for canada, but if youre just looking for desk speakers, look to see what logitech has
forgot the name of the one i had but they were like $35 usd or so which i think is around $48 cad?
not good at conversion without looking it up
is there any keychron keyboards where it is 2.4ghz wireless instead of bluetooth or is there an adapter for it
I’m looking for new switches for my G305 any recommendations?
personal pick would be Kailh GM8.0's
then again, the average Huano or alike will do perfectly fine too
not a fan of TTC so far, Omron would just be a direct replacement unless you found a Japanese one and optical obviously doesn't fit
How do they compare to GM4.0s?
Would call gm8 a bit more... Clicky?
is the Audient evo 4 worth the price?
How come when my headphones are plugged into my monitor it seems more quiet compared to when plugged into my PC case?
different output
Amps in the monitor are very underpowered
put in second power plug
Does anyone have some 50mm wired headphone recommendations in the under €100 range, i have been using betron retro for a while and they seem like they might have discontinued it, i ordered another pair on back order but it's been over a month so I'm starting to loose hope
Comfort being the main priority don't care about sound too much
Beats by Dr. Pato closed backs
The betron retros are actually great although they look a bit goofy, unfortunately only one of the earcups is working now :(
After doing some research I'm thinking the ATH-AVC500, any other recommendations?
I really enjoy the koss porta pros for their comfort and sound. Though sometimes the headband can get caught on a hair strand
Are the 50mm they look quite small? I've got quite big ears so even with 40mm i can only do a few hours before getting sore
could always get aftermarket pads
Right but can't really have pads much bigger than the earcup
Just kind of a diameter size constraint rather than uncomfy stock pads ime (unless ears touch the driver in that case)
The porta i bring up because even though they are small and on ear headphones they are so light you barely feel them
Im not an on ear guy but those I’ve been able to use for hours no issue
anyone know speakers well?
there's two options to output audio from my PC
Line in mode, or Optical/coaxial mode ?
which one is better and offers better sound quality?
I googled and literally cannot find an answer
I am using Edifier Speakers
any reccomendations on a good wireless gaming keyboard (2.4ghz usb) and mouse that i can find on amazon for a total of 150 and are from the same brand i dont want to install a lot of software
Not really sure where to ask but i’m kind of interested in grabbing a cheaper VR headset
I have 5800HS and 3060 maxq
how much would a basic vr headset cost (for use with steam and other pc games)
all i can think of is stuff from meta ngl, like quest 2
Same
I don’t really know what vr headsets are out there besides the steam one and the quest 2
HP has one, though I only see it with 4.2 ratings last time I checked
is $600 considered budget for VR?
But if i got the $400 quest 2 i can just use a link cable (usb-c cable) and connect it to steam on my laptop right
yeah
ye
guess facebook has to make up the money theyre losing from meta and the "development" of it theyve been doing
lol
they only lost what, a measly like 3bil or whatever it was
3bil is a bit much but yknow what i mean
ye
are there other options similar to the quest 2
in terms of price and preferably quality
128GB is $300 256GB is 400
🤔
This is what newegg has
Got to get a Bluetooth keyboard for my Steam Deck so I can access the emulator properly. Last time I messed with a SuperNes emulator on my phone, I didn't catch it sync up with my surround sound system. The entire family ended up being rudely awakened to the startup tune to Breath of Fire.
what’s a good wireless headset that works with Xbox Series X/S
and isn’t hellishly expensive
When it comes to headsets, replacement digitizers, and mikes, I look at the imported stuff that has 4 to 5 star ratings, with lots of good reviews and low prices, then buy them on Newegg or Amazon if I can, so I know I'll get them quite fast and backed by a good return policy should it go bad, or come broken. Buying imports on eBay, your looking for a very long wait to get what you paid for, which can be 30 to 60+ days. That's very risky, because a good amount of importers know USA banks only allow up to 60 days to do a charge back, or just send a cheap item to get a completed tracking number. So sticking with a US seller is a better way to buy, even if the price is a bit higher.
I didn’t need a whole paragraph and history on buying a headset
I asked for recommendations 💀
And I suggested a good way to find them.
try cloud ii wireless
I didn’t ask about sellers and imports, I asked about models of headsets that are good
LMAO
I need to get Bluetooth keyboard for my Steam Deck, and instead of search showing Bluetooth only, gave me a list of 300+ wireless, none of them Bluetooth lol.
it’s a litttlllee pricey so would these be okay?
Sorry Vul. I could easily tell you best price and quality NVME, as there are select few that are very good. But headsets that have 20k+ manufacturers, that's a needle in a haystack for me.
never heard of those
good reviews, not bad price ($94) and Xbox branded
There's tons of different nvme drives that are good too lol
cloud ii wireless is like 120$
what’s an nvme lmao
yeah that’s kinda expensive
for me at least
it was cheaper previously
I will never ever buy ear buds off eBay ever again. Two years ago, paid $81 for a set of brand new Bose earbuds, and the seller obviously had a shrink wrap machine and rewrapped a return. The front of the box was clear plastic so you could look in and see the earbuds. One of them looked like it had a rubber protector on, but using my electronic microscope I use for PCB repair, saw it wasn't rubber or packaging, but a glob of earwax attacked to one.
eBay actually refunded me for it, and said I could keep them, but still sent them back, to have it returned back to me 50 days later.
I used to buy these zipper type earbuds in bulk. They'd last me a month. Can't complain, they were $1.99 each, and sound quality was very good, even at that low price. They just didn't last to long.
so it looks like if i want budget VR theres no better option than 128gb quest 2
which got a price hike to $400 😐
Do you guys recommend any pre built keyboards?
They upped their prices a while ago for some reason
Will check it out
anyone know where they're selling N700NC's for a price NOT in the 200 range
How dare they
Where's the MANAGER
Does Ali express have some kind of buyer protection?
No but if you pay with Paypal there's that
They have some, yes
If by "some" you mean it's a joke yes
USPS stops tracking things after 30 days and if there's no tracking info they won't help you. And they tell you to wait 6 weeks to open a claim.
@hushed root i forgot to say that the he400se is another great option
I saw it. It's only $109 usd. Youve tried them?
nope
I just heard some really good things about it from people who have
and well for the price point
ig you can't really go wrong
Mmm ok
decided im going to build my first one
im stoked
but will probably overspend on the keyboard hobby
Can someone recommend me a lube to use?
205g0 in general, 105g0 to bag lube springs
Some dielectric grease may be helpful for lubing stabs
Or you could use 205g0
actually this might be better https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0919YM6QC?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1
g0>g00
Idk what that means
Grade of the amount of ptfe powder per certain amount of GPL Oil (the 105 ones, 205 is grease version of the same lube 10x grade)
In short, g0 is thicker than g00
U can also buy from the local keeb site if u want as well
So buy g0 then
Yup
A dac is a digital audio claymore
A dac is a digital audio claymore
A dac is a digital audio claymore

gotta pin em all
Lmao

a dac is a digital audio claymore
Wait there’s a dac in front of me right now
I love this whole conversation
Any pcie wifi cards for gaming recomendations
Any suggestions on how I can make my Razer Seiren V2 Pro Mic sound better? Not that it's bad I am just curious if there's a way to make the audio smoother.
helps if you know a bit about mic processing. you could try a eq but especially with mics from any gaming brands I would lower the input gain so it's not clipping, then if there is any kind of compressor option available to smoothen out the volume peaks a little bit
if you have razer synapse, i believe you're able to change the eq somewhere on there. bring mic closer to you, lower gain
I was helping a friend out with a razer headset mic once. It was way too hot and constantly clipping. Bringing it down helped so much just by itself
any good sennheiser or other headphone brands? i have a budget of 150 dollars
For gaming or music?
gaming good sir
560s is god tier for fps
at least budget-mid
Discover the unique acoustic performance of our HD 560S audiophile headphones. Zero distortion ✓ Rich bass ✓ Clear treble ✓ Now available from Sennheiser!
$129
oh cool
i was considering getting 599's but it's over my budget so refurbished might be a good idea
i don't need headphones w/ built-in mics either cus i got a blue yeti
Need not too expensive wireless gaming headset with good mic
First rule of soundbars: don't

Yeah, but you can get better stereo speakers for cheaper
Coming from the person that has a new username every 12 hours
i just bought this. HW-S50B 3.0ch All-in-One Soundbar w/ Dolby 5.1 / DTS Virtual:X (2022)
But i want to know if i should've just got this one HW-S60B 5.0ch All-in-One Soundbar w/ Wireless Dolby Atmos (2022)
its only an $80 diffence but is it worth it?
yup
no lol
copy and pasted from Samsung site
from what i am reading it doesnt make much a difference
Looks like s60b just has the virtual surround feature
So like $4k? Because California?
At least the soundbar is like chump change compared to rent
$799.99 plus a FREE 3 year Allstate warranty

tru
Do you live in a closet?
$1825
I remember when my first apartment was $760 for a single room, 10 years ago
It's even worse when you have to share utilities with people who have their heat/ac all the way up
Some apartments split the bill between all the tenants, lol
Ima get my case once i get home
i have to move or throw stuff out for the cases. luckily theyre able to stack to save some space. itd be a nightmare if they didnt stack and i just had them spread out everywhere
bro just use ur mouse
i do
and then after a while i buy new ones and put old ones in cases
most mice ive had plugged in was like 4 or 5 into 1 pc
cant, not enough space in there tbh
custom cable and its a bit longer and more fragile than a normal cable so not trying to tighten it, just leaving it loose
I've been there. Pulsefire haste, GPW, G703 and an mmo mouse.
Plus or minus a mamba and ANOTHER g703
Im all set for the year now
No :3
Is the PS4 controller just made with a cheap sensor or something?
I'm on my third time having to take the controller apart and this time the drift isn't going anywhere
The right stick goes up that far without me touching it, and it can stay there for up to thirty seconds before going down
or maybe you just have a bad controller
Every console controller is made as cheaply as possible and sold at premium prices
It's been that way since the early 2000s
Morning boys! A question! I has a Aqua Control + Mousepad and i'm about to buy a new wireless mice. Im a low sens player very low some times. Is recommendable the superglides feets for the mouse with the Aqua Control + or i'm gona be better withe the PTFE?
You could try those electromagnetic sticks next time around
the hardware used in the playstation and xbox controllers hasnt changed since theyve been made because of super low cost to high profit margins. we have had controllers in the past with really good analog sticks that have very little problems like i think that one controller that had the analog stick in the middle however its spensive to make
the only good thing about the new ps5 controller thats like $200 is that the analog sticks are now modular but goes to show just how bad the analog sticks are in order to make it modular
Hall effect joysticks
If you're serious about gaming they're totally worth either buying or upgrading to. Most first party controllers can be soldered with them.
Hey i have orderd the hd560s and have the fiio btr5, do you where I can find a 2.5mm balanced input cable?
There are a lot of places that sell cables, you can try hart audio or moon audio. I have one balanced cable from apos
@vast folio btw I listened to the Sundara's the other day and they're actually a great headphone
Yes
Any reccs for wireless earbuds? Budgets $150, I know about moonsparks but recently they changed some things and im hesitant to recommend them to my friend
I've heard good things about the galaxy buds 2, pixel buds a, sony linkbuds S
They'll be ur best buds
You can put custom wallpapers and animations on the display
how much you guys guess the raikiri pro might end up costing
this is something really desireable to me
Asus is speeding into the gaming world HARD
probably $300
they slapping oled on everything
oled on keyboards, oled on mice, oled on controller, olead on cables
small oled monitor for your oled monitor
oled on your mousepad
oled on your desk
screw it, oled on my phone case
I bought that kiyo ultra. Let's see how it holds up
Expecting it to be mega over brio
does anyone have a good suggestion for a wireless pair of headphones or possible wired if the sound quality is good enough for PC use? Ideally with a microphone but id consider a modmic or something similar. Id say my budget would be up to something like a Sony WH-1000XM5
For instance I’m planning on discord, and mostly casual rpgs and some dark tide with friends. On the side I’d like good audio quality for music listening
If you're only going to be using it with your pc, a usb dongle for the headset might be the way to go btw instead of Bluetooth
There's also headsets with 2.4ghz wireless
That budget can easily get anything of that sort
I only know of the aiaiai for wireless non Bluetooth in the music world
Ik there's some astro headsets and i think Kingston and steel series possibly Logitech and razer too
Give the Hifiman Sundara a try if you're serious about audio quality. You may need an amplifier depending on how loud you listen to your music so keep that in mind if you choose to go down that route as it will go over your budget of 400USD if that's the case.
Yeah but most of those are pretty bad as far as sound quality goes
I mean... If we're counting HP as Kingston, cloud ii is probably as good as it gets for a wireless gaming headset
I'm gonna be brutally honest... Double your budget and then you have options
maybe keycaps?
a friend of mine got some $15 random amazon brand keyboard and mouse gaming combo
and he says he wants really quiet keyboard
i almost told him to go membrane
i’ll have to find out
Anyone have an idea why my speaker sounds worse like not as loud or as smooth when connected to my pc vs when connected to my phone via bluetooth?
Like it's not as loud, a bit more scratchy and not as much range in the sound.
How is it connected to your PC? Bluetooth also?
Yes.
It could be mismatched versions of Bluetooth then. If the speaker is 5.2 but the PC is only 4.2 it'll only support the features and quality of the lower spec. There might also be some glitches with the mismatch.
How do I check the Bluetooth version of my PC?
Also ty for helping me.
If it's the one integrated into the WiFi on the PC then it's a quick search of the chipset
If that's the case the model board you're using and brand of adapter is all you need to find out
Not sure if this is the right channel for this but does anyone have a good controller recommendation? I've used the same xbox one controller for the past 4 years and it's finally crapped out on me. Looking for something around the $60-$100 range. I don't care about looks so just something functional and maybe has extra cool buttons
Im on PC
Xbox controllers and the like are native to pc btw
they come with features on windows gaming panel and blah
I wouldn't do original xbox controller since they're cheaply made
well really all controllers are made cheaply
but xbox 360 and xbox one controllers are nice, updated xbox one controllers also nice
Hm, alright
can also catch them on sale quite a bit as well
Then the og controller it is
hm...mone
also most games if not most things on pc support xbox controller more than playstation controllers
Do yall know of any with the trigger stops or programmable buttons on the back?
arent trigger stops something you can buy?
Can you buy them? Idk ive seen some with a switch on the back for it
dont know much about them, but amazon has a few
you can buy them but there are controllers with them built in
Ah well thanks for the suggestions. Ill be looking at newer xbox controllers then
Do you need wireless?
The only thing you might not like is that the buttons feel like mouse clicks, instead of normal controller buttons
But it has 6 extra buttons and volume control built in, if you ever use them on a console
image quality looks really good. needs a few settings to play with (I'm in poor light atm) but I like it so far
it's quite warm after 5 minutes tho
❓
Yeet, new mousepad
How many mousepads do you have
They have 2 many
Anyone know any white keycaps that would fit into a gamakay tk68?
I didn’t really want an rgb look or a pudding keycap style
Basic ones no
I thought you meant the wireless ones kek
Mb forgot those existed
the world of unholy razer products
most razer audio products ive tried were very bloated
ye
my preference tho is bass lmao
but i do want clear sounds too, so it's like a v shape for me
dope board
15 i think
recently received my latest one, taking a break from mousepads for a bit since i want to get another mouse. my mice to mousepad ratio is not balanced
actually i thought it was the treble performance that was more important for footsteps
i have a pair of turtle beach earbuds that are all treble
i would think of the bass as more of a distracter in games
https://divinikey.com/products/gateron-ks-3-milky-yellow-pro-linear-switches are these nylon housing? Would they have north facing interference?
Gateron Milky Yellow Pro Switches feature new, updated molds for the KS-3 which helps to reduce the stem wobble. It is also treated with the same lubing process as the KS-9 which will increase smoothness. The spring and milky housing utilizes the same material as the original KS-3 we know and love. Gateron KS-3 Milky Y
It should be nylon, if mounted on a north facing PCB, it'll have interference with cherry caps but should be fine with other profiles
PC/Nylon blend
Y’all. I just built my single best keyboard yet
Switches: Lubed Ktt Kang Whites
Mods: Silicone Mod, Tape Mod, O Ring Mod, Foam Mod
The thock on this thing is literally insane
Used stock cable, until my custom one comes in
cool
cypher ?
ye
Anyone know of any white speakers that would be good to sit on my desk?
There are some by yamaha and Kali but they both recommend at least putting some kind of stand on your desk. Not straight in desk
How much were you looking to spend anyway
I'm trying to reattach a mouse button to my mouse, if someone can help me out I'm in VC
i would jus ask and if anyone has answers, theyll reply
A audiophile once told me “those are mid buy this instead” https://store.hifiman.com/index.php/he400se.html?
The hifimans are actually good headphones though
those are planar and if you havent used planar before you should stick to drivers
and you need a decent dac for those
the hd560x and hd6xx the apple usb c to 3.5mm adapter is a good enough dac
You need a dac for the 6xx’s
the apple usb c to 3.5mm adapter has a built in dac and its good enough for the 6xx
like later down ima get the Qudelix-5K
It does, it’s not gunna be very loud be warned I have a 6xx on my desk with a apple dongle
i want the hd 6xx, $240 is nice but i want to see if i can catch them for cheaper
I got em for 180 and love them to death
ye i was told they can go for that much. hoping that they do go to that soon
save the extra bit of money for other stuff
Where's avionix the audiophile
whelp, guess im buying them rn
i flipped a coin and told my friend to pick heads or tails for a best of 3 he said heads i buy them and i got heads twice in a row
big savings
depends on your gear
whats your amp/dac situation ?
and 6xx are super amp dependent
thats why some ppl run off of tubes etc
whelp, now i wait for the headphones to be delivered to my house. was too impatient to wait for it to drop further in price
if i get the 560 i can afford the qudeix-5k at buying time but with the 6xx it wld be the apple dongle for now and later the qudeix-5k
wait how do u get that code to work it shows the $10 off but soon as i enter my info it says it doesnt apply to me
ye didnt work for me either. applied there but when i go to checkout it takes it off big sadge
yea
also sadly turns out i signed up for a drop account a while ago so i cant even get the $10 code for signing up for their newsletter
wait maybe thats what that code is from
now that i think abt it
maybe it checks ur email w the newsletter
just make a new email lol
too much work for $10 for me
happy at $240 vs $300
or $64/m since im doing paypal pay in 4
Do you know your sound preference?
What type of music do you listen to and what do you like/dislike about your current headphone
And you can prob get better answers from audiophile ppl but I can help in some areas, might wanna take a grain of salt with everything I say here
the oneodios are cutting it anymore and the studio 3s ares uncompfy
alr
i listen to hip hop and pop
some rap
So I'm guessing you like bass etc ?
To simply things
560s iirc are considered really neutral so idk you'd be happy with it's sound sig
6xx are mid centric but it'll def be an upgrade and you might like it since you don't really have an idea of what you prefer in headphones yet
if you want an upgrade to the sound signature that you're used to then the k361/71 or whatever would be a better option
Might be a safer pick since tuning wise it's p safe ish
ive heard that the app2 sound better then those
can anyone help me on good comfortable earbuds for music when I'm doing sports?
people already gonna get on my ass for even saying this brand but beats has some stuff specifically meant for sports. theres also the beats studio buds but they dont have the cable that wraps around your next so theres that in case if they fall out same with beats fit pro
the beats flex as well which do have a cable to go around your neck and also the earbuds themselves are magnetic to attach themselves so they arent just dangling eveywhere
bose also has some good earbuds for sports/exercising as well
they have their sport earbuds and also open earbuds which have hooks that go over your ears
ngl im not familiar with the app2
nor know what it is
apple airpod pro 2
o ic
havent really looked into the new ones but its kinda a strange comparison since one is headphones
airpods aren't bass focused tho
there's sony wh-1000xm5, or xm4 if you wanna save some money
they're like 300 or below
here
and wxm4/5 are more then app2
ill try out my dads wxm4s but idk
im looking into more audiophile headphones
like the hd6xx
momentum 4s are a good pick
pick your poison
they both have the a very similar frequency response
meaning they'll probably sound very similar to one another when you listen to them but they may have different soundstage characteristics, resolutions, or "tone"
oh yeah
and their distortion is probably also different too
yo i still dont know whats better lol
whats better highs or lows
Depends on what you're using them for
560s are great for gaming
They're good for music and videos too, but it all comes down to preference
speaking of headphones, you think anc is worth it if I live in a fairly quiet place?
only gonna use them in places like a school or coffee shop
You'd be surprised what you stop hearing with ANC
But yeah, ANC is pretty neat and useful
And you can always disable it, but I feel like the sound signature changes. And that's from using my wh-1000xm3
cool...still dunno if I wanna buy them $250 xm4's or Quietcomforts
Save money and get refurbished
the xm4's go on sale for $179 all the time
I got my xm3's on ebay for $179 and I haven't had any issues with them
I think I have the quietcomfort 25's
I haven't used them in forever, but I'll see if the comfort and weight is about the same as the xm3's
I didn't realized they came out with xm5's
Also have to say the sonys are more comfortable imo
It's the background noise disappearing that leaves you feeling unsettled
Like when all the crickets stop chirping in a field in the middle of the night and it's silent
Or when it snows lol
Not even that i feel a weird vaccuum
Dyson headphones when?
Not sure about the website, but it was posted in slickdeals
$220 for xm5's
apples anc is my favorite that ive tried so far

depends on your preferenace
I personally like bright headphones as a set that resolves very well is able to make higher pitched instruments stand out
The green line is the frequency response of the current headphones I use and the blue are the 6XX's
circled in yellow is the peak that gives my headphone that "bright" characteristic as the 3k-4k Hz range is where most the harmonics for the higher pitched notes from varying different instruments reside giving it a brighter "tone"
Ironically they make the worst headphones out of the xm4s and qc lineup
Heavy as metal headphones
Nononomo
circled in red is the bass rolloff the 6XX's have but I'm not sure if this is even audible as I haven't tried them and there are very few instruments that produce a sound that low
apples software is probably the best. in terms of sound im not really sure what to say xD airpods pros i really liked, airpods max i preferred for comfort but sound was just ok. xm4's I thought were a little bloated in the bass and qc I haven't tried for long enough lol
You think the airpods max are comfy?
Isn't there weight slightly under a car
why would you pay $550 for a closed back headphone lmao
for me they were comfortable. Probably the headband that made up for some of the weight but id be concerned about that headband for long term. the xm4's for me comfort wise were just a little too shallow
I do have a pair of 900usd closed backs on my desk rn
what are they?
Fair enough
aeon 2 noires
oh those
I didn't try them the last time I went to demo a bunch of headphones for some reason
they sound decent but the treble is a little too harsh for me. I really enjoyed the planar driver for electronic music but I still think I will be returning them in favor of the meze 109s since i also listen to a lot of instrumental music where i prefer the dynamic drivers
Hmmm
there is actually a peak in the 5-7kHz range but that would only amplify the highest of frequencies most instruments aren't capable of reaching as there's a dip between 2-4kHz range which is where the highest notes and harmonics reside
do take what I say with a grain of salt as FR charts are also flawed when it comes to giving us an accurate representation of how the transducer reacts to signals
However I will say that brighter headphones are less forgiving with the source chain that you use as low quality components can produce sibilance that's amplified by the transducer causing high pitched sounds to have a hiss to it
tbh I never looked at the measurements to either lol. but the peaks do disturb me for some recordings. I'm a little sensitive to the upper range and in acoustic recordings its a lot of room noise or unwanted sounds coming in that im not a fan of
as for source i usually was on either a motu m2, btr7 or schiit stack
I'd suggest trying a different stack
zen can and zen dac is a good option
ehh that's also the reason im going with the mezes. im not really in the market for more listening equipment and so far the mezes sounded great with almost anything I plugged them into. I want to take it easy now lol
yeah they're very forgiving
and also extremely comfortable lol
indeed. although the clamping force can be a bit much after a long listening session
interesting
What'd be the best way to get GPS on a device without one? I've saw some usb-gps receivers selling for 25€, are there any alternatives? Possibly cheaper ones
dyson mask tho
im somewhat leaning to the 560s now lol
just cuz i will be gaming, listening to music, watching tv and being on phone w friends (i alr have a separate mic)
so im not sure yet
Discover the unique acoustic performance of our HD 560S audiophile headphones. Zero distortion ✓ Rich bass ✓ Clear treble ✓ Now available from Sennheiser!
$99 refurbished from Sennheiser directly
The ones I bought were brand new
The clamping force was pretty tight when I first got them, but after about a day or two, they loosened up
Mousepad on da door
ok but why tho
Is it now a doorpad?
For optimal dragging mouse down, accelerated by gravity
thx :D
i can only imagine someone with a giant monitor, with a mousepad attached to it, playing something like COD
I will buy a stupid expensive mouse if I see someone getting high ranks with a wallpad
probably gonna wait on that for awhile tbh
ye
other companies have minis but that elusive viper mini
i dont needa upgrade, but im jus bored of my current mouse
pro tip, stop looking after 2 mice
tru
dont join us with 6+ mice
i have an old delux m800 or watever but i ahvent touched it in like a year or so
2 should be enough for me
Yeah, they do look nice
I might consistently poke Wreedheid for one
and I'm in the 6+ group already
Does anyone know of any white speakers that are good that l can place on my desk?
how much were you looking to spend
anyone got a picture of the windows 10 background but the 4 window squares are png?
Anyone know of a peripheral that can attach to the mouse to stop my wrist from dragging on the desk when i move the mouse?
i want to glide my wrist as smoothly as the mouse itself so i can aim better
I don't know, but do some research into one of these maybe
you can get a wrist sleeve or some
for gaming id just recommend a sleeve of some sort instead. for normal just daily use or office work then the thing that hoonigan sent would be good
I don't know much about speakers. Am I supposed to use a sound bar with speakers or just one or the other?
Also are the Razer nomus good?
If you're going for surround sound or at least a wide sound stage you can do both and spread them out but otherwise a sound bar is enough
soundbars are usually designed as a all in one solution rather than an addition to a surround setup
I remember the first time I watched a movie with surround sound, Saving Private Ryan
I was blown away
I thought anime only had mono audio?

Haha
Theo buys a lot of things that he doesn't use lol
That's pretty big
You can always use it for halloween and project ghosts in your windows lol
I’m only like 2 years and a second version late but yeet, xm1r finally achieved. Can finally use the glass skates I bought for this mouse
Are the Razer Nommo Pro and the Leviathans good? I'd like to keep all my peripherals in the same ecosystem if possible.
How you like it
havent used it yet
I wouldn't worry about ecosystem. the less software dependent the product is, the better
My sound and rgb is all in the razer eco-system at the moment. But in anycase, are the Razer Nommo Pro good?
They're expensive
I definitely feel like you could find something nicer for that price
deathadder v2 mini is $15 on amazon
Jesus christ
nvm
now it's $18
Jesus christ
holy $#!T the price difference between the Razer Nommo and Nommo Pro is massive.
$145 for Nommo and $510 for the pros.
I haven't personally tried any of razers speakers but I wouldn't expect much from them. the only razer audio product I have used and not instantly hated was the blackshark v2s
Nommo's are pre-Blacksharks so yeah
That's what I have, the pro version at least. Has and is continuing to serve me well 😄
I'm told the nommo's are alright but I definitely would believe in a better alternative
Especially when you consider they usually sell things with a brand tax
👀 yes.
I've still been meaning to try the micca rb42's that come around that price. heard good things but i have no more money atm 😦
From experience Razer's products have been serving me well so I was thinking if it keeps it in the same eco-system and the speakers they make are decent I wouldn't mind being loyal.
If you wanted to consider a razer speaker
My budget for speakers not now as I am currently planning couple months in advance is $300 roughly.
I can go up to $400 tops.
Lemme double check if my Z790 Aorus Elite Ax has a usb C slot.
Also is USB C only a bad thing?
For a speaker? Yes
I managed to get my kali lp6 pair for about 300usd few months ago and they sound
although with the stands and interface it costed me like 500
Also sound is very important to me so I am willing to go on the more expensive side if it means better sound. I have very good hearing.
okay good, my board does have a USB C.
if sound is very important and you don't have much space constraints I would look at some nearfield studio monitors personally as long as you can figure out how to connect to pc no issue. I just think even razers top end is not very impressive
Space isn't much of a concern, I am that one guy with the like 5 foot deep desk. But what do you mean by nearfield studio monitors?
You mean replacing my monitor?
lmao I never had time to get rid of the unnecessary cables and cable manage everything
are the monitors the gargantuan speakers?
yes xD
ahh okay, I just call those monitors speakers so I was confused.
Honestly that might be a bit overkill for me.
I think a soundbar or desk speaker would be better suited for me.
lol i have long listening sessions and do some audio editing so i went out a bit
everything about this is a mess
i talk occasionally
maybe i shouldn't show what under my desk looks like
Soundbars how do they work exactly to let you tell left from right?
what are the headphones in the middle? don't recognize them
the ones on top of the ngnl light novel? meze 109 pros
of course it's ngnl
sound bars are usually all in one. so they have separate drivers on the left and right side and some even have speakers top firing to give some height to whatever you are watching
the height and such is where you start seeing the atmos branding on soundbars but they are more designed for theater. Im not entirely sure if games even support height speakers
of course it has to be I got to keep the theme going
ngnl poster and figures comes later
is the light novel censored at all
welll what do you consider censored
less censored than the show
is that why the nommo pros cost $570?
one page may be a bit less censored
ic
They have the atmos branding and a sub woofer.
i need to catch up on my shows sometime
having a product thx and dolby certified does cost money in licensing fees
w wouold you like tto see
Preferably I'd like to stay within the $300 range for speakers.
uh sure i guess
Purchase Razer Leviathan V2 Pro (gaming speakers), or browse through our extensive selection of gaming peripherals, and more at razer.com
Thinking about this one, thoughts?
Product > Brand.
Ehhhh, we've had very different headset experiences then.
Personally I love their Blackshark V2 Pro but anyways, let's not get into one of those types of arguements. The soundbar how is it?
well in my experience (besides them being really hot and heavy) they have really muddy bass
and not much more besides that
We have polar opposite experiences, xD.
well have you tried anything nicer than razer headphones
https://www.razer.com/gaming-speakers/Razer-Leviathan-V2-Pro/RZ05-04160100-R3U1
Specs wise is this soundbar good or bad? (yes I am aware of the brand tax which I don't mind paying if it keeps everything in the same eco-system).
Purchase Razer Leviathan V2 Pro (gaming speakers), or browse through our extensive selection of gaming peripherals, and more at razer.com
Purchase Razer Leviathan V2 (gaming speakers), or browse through our extensive selection of gaming peripherals, and more at razer.com
i mean buy it if you like the brand and rgb
u said ur willing to pay more for the brand so who cares
yall think ali express is fine to buy tech like keyboards?

I get most of my replacement GPU fans from there
I mean... enough official sellers on there as well
i swear to god the way i type makes me feel like i forgot all the english i've learned all my life
The evolution of language is a funny thing. Casual speech and slang become accepted and more common until it's officially words and phrases.
As long as the person you're communicating with gets the correct idea of what you're trying to say, it doesn't matter all that much.
For non-gaming keyboard stuff aliexpress has waaayy more stuff than amazon
Indeed, it's easier for the factories that manufacture them to sell on there
Oop it's a redragon
I mean, advantage is companies like Redragon, Hexgears, Akko and so on selling on there directly
as well as vendors like kbdfans
Welp if it's what u specifically want then aliex can ship slower but has more options
my ACR75 top came from Aliexpress because it had stock while their German site didn't
I still feel ify on the fact that it's redragon
but this keyboard has all the features I want
shouldn't combust or be irreparably broken right?
Nah
Seller has 98.8% positive rating too
Keep in mind it looks like it's a zone-lit rgb so you can't do individual keys different colors. Mine does the same, it's not bad or anything just something to note.
not interested in rgb for once in my life luckily
If u can spare $50 more therecs keychron V1 that has knob and reprogrammable keys, should be waaaay better
It's not a flat board tho, but i think they have a new lineup again that's a flat board recently
Keychron do a good variety yeah
Looks ok, but I want the numpad for...reasons.
Might replace my main with a keychron though. I have some E-yooso keyboard idk
yeah it isnt great
Is $600 enough to setup a good 7.1 channel speaker system?
Doesn't need to be Razer.
Hi guys im looking for a new wireless mice, i never used one before lol i had the Glorious Model D but i want to change to wireless
Im looking for an ergo mouse
I see the Pulsar Xlite V2 and looks nice, budget friendly and good shape. What do you recommend?
You could just go for model d wireless but orochi v2 is another option
If you are willing to order international, the Ninjutso Origin One X is 48$ on Maxgaming
Recommend me a great gaming monitor. My budget is 350. Thanks
What GPU do you have?
1440p is neat but it's not the best experience if you can't run it well
asrock rt 6900xt oc formula
Simple good option to start
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0949KL83T
Price is really good for it rn

$300 rn
X27Q is a good cheap option but if you can afford it M27Q is a good bit better https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/hp-x27q-vs-gigabyte-m27q/27159/19668?usage=3623&threshold=0.10
The Gigabyte M27Q is a much better gaming monitor than the HP X27q. The Gigabyte has a faster response time, especially at lower refresh rates, resulting in much clearer motion with less blur around fast-moving objects. The Gigabyte also has better compatibility with the Xbox Series X and PS5 consoles, as it can display a downscaled 4k image.
M27q is nicer but right now I can't bring myself to say that its worth 100$ more lol
Out of the options closer to that ~$300 price range it's a decent deal still. Too bad it's not as low as it got before.
X27q is a great monitor, not saying whether or not I'd buy m27q over it or not. Got mine for $175 after tax
its good, ninjutsu or watever has some options too
so does vaxee and zowie
thank you very much guys i will be searching one of those
speaker system?
do you know what a 7.1 speaker system is?
7 speakers, and 1 sub woofer correct?
3 front, 1 on the left/right, and 2 behind for the speakers and a subwoofer up front.
Its 2 for left and right, 1 center, 2 surround, 1 sub and the last 2 are usually either overheads or height left and right speaker pairs. But a surround system is likely out of budget considering the receivers are usually 300-500usd alone on the lower end

I see, what speakers do you recommend within about $400 that I can over time build into a full surround system?
I don't think you should consider a 7.1 or even a 5.1 they're way outside of your budget and I'm assuming you don't have much experience with speakers as you would need to invest more into other pieces of hardware in order to make it work.
You also have to consider that the tracks and movies you're planning to watch has to be mixed in 7.1 for it to work aswell
Gotcha.
Speaker systems are they upgradable? Like can I get 2 speakers now and over time buy more of those speakers to make say a 5.1 system?

basically what @snow briar sent
i mean ye you can hook up 2 speakers to a receiver and set it up to only use stereo
dms got me acknowledgment
You could also just do a couple of bookshelf speakers and work your way up from there
Have a question that I hope someone with a steam deck can answer. I'm trying to buy a mini RGB keyboard for my steam deck. Need the RGB due to my eyesight. Steam deck is Bluetooth capability, but majority of keyboards are wireless 2.4g.Does it matter if wireless or Bluetooth?
The keyboard that comes built in is horrible, as it has no function keys.
Moved this from the wrong channel I asked in.
Both 2.4 and Bluetooth work on steamdeck, just double checked with a buddy using a Bluetooth and wireless keychron kb
Thanks for the info. For a hot item like the Steam Deck, you would think Steam would either put up a Discord or group channel for it. It's a really nice portable gaming system, just a tad difficult to find info on getting hardware for it.
Ah, well it’s actually more of a almost everything works item, keyboards controllers Bluetooth headphones, i haven’t run into any issues so far and neither has my buddy.
The 256gb NVME, isn't an NVME. It's a mini hard drive. Can hear it start up on some of my larger games. I purchased during Xmas, three Sky Hynix P41 when they were on sale for $169, the 2tb ones, before finding out about the specifications. I'm aiming for a dock that holds an NVME, so I can at least use one.
Funny how I paid 2k to build the ultimate I9 gaming system, and haven't touched it because Im hooked on the Steam Deck. Well, shoot, that's a lie. I use it at the moment to run my game servers so I can log in through my Steam Deck. Running the server and game clients off the Steam Deck, I stopped doing, after I saw how hot it got the deck.
What I'd really like to do, is get Ultima Online and Ragnarok to run on the deck so I can connect to ServeUO or rAythena. I'm not good with Linux, but with a 2tb NVME, it's worth trying.
thats probably just the cooling for the cpu, nvme's (or any decently fast storage) when running start eating cpu resources like wild
The worst resource hog I ever seen, was the Amiga 2000. Ran a BBS off it, and when I purchased an 800mb SCSI HD, it took up 1/3 of my ram. Come to think of it, would be interesting to see if an Amiga emulator works on the Steam Deck. Would be fun running a BBS off it, with a few changes since I wouldnt be adding any modems.
I still have a few licenses mothballed 😂
Emulators are suppose to be amazing on the steam deck, not sure about the compatibility on most
would this be the right place to ask a question about an issue I'm having with my mic?
yep
Linux ftw
Steam has a Windows emulator on the Steam deck, so titles that clearly state they don't work on Linux, mostly do run on the Steam Deck. Only one title, which is NDA, has problems with multiplayer. Client runs fine, the server portion doesn't start up, and my guess is it's most likely a NET issue.
If you're referring to W.I.N.E. then yes I know how far they've come
You can also just straight install Windows
And if anyone’s wondering dark and darker works extremely well on low settings
(on steam deck)
Only problem I have, is adjusting brightness when watching movies off the Steam Deck. The brightness setting has no effect on my movies, especially ones in AVI format.
Netflix and Amazon video players seem to suffer more too.
i said i was gonna wait to see if they would drop lower than $240 but here they are
hd6xx, yeet

was gonna buy them as a christmas gift for myself in december but gift buying hit my wallet before these could
time to test these on a flac file that i stole from you
only used on youtube so far
How do you like them so far?
literally just started using them since i was gone for work but clamping force isnt done breaking in yet but its not that tight on my head but def can feel it. ear cups are suede? again just started using them so cant tell so far if they got or how hot they do get but sound wise they sound pretty good. def a bit more flat than the grado sr60x's i was using but not bad
also i have a schiit magni heresy and modi so not sure if thatll affect how you hear them with whatever youre using compared to my setup
They are suede, to deal with the clamp force, extend the bands out completely and lightly bend out, readjust them put em back on repeat
I’m just on a fiio k5, a lot less invested in the headphone space. Want to hear the opinions of people with much more experience
cant tell if the right ear is slightly more quiet than the left or i need to clean my right ear
nvm
ear
my ear, not the headphones
tmw headphones good enough to find the difference in ur ears
Oh I already know my left ear is better than my right. Side effect of deployment, gunfire damages your hearing. Normally you'd wear protection but that's not always an option.
I can tell the difference in my ears with just a cheap pair of earphones.

what are you cookin
Suggestions on a good RGB headset? Currently using a Bose noise-cancelling 700. Want something to sync with the rest of my RGB and also has good sound. My Bose are great but no RGB and also issues when connecting them to my PC's Bluetooth
i dont think there is gonna be an option that will both check off the rgb and good sound box
I personally don't see the point of a RGB headset. Who are the lights for? You can't see them. Streamers don't use headsets, at least none with self respect.
Tyler1's head dent would like to speak to you
"none with self respect"
Anyone know a good macropad? I'm looking into a feker one without switches but has a rotary knob
i know i can but find me 5 game focused streamers that use IEMS
u cant say that streamers dont use headsets when pretty much everybody does
can anyone recommend me a wirelesss gaming mouse
razer viper ultimate $60
razer orochi v2 $40-$44
razer viper v2 pro $142
logitech g pro x superlight $160
pulsar x2 $95
logitech g502 wireless $112-$140
fantech aria $80
cooler master mm712 $70
razer basilisk $38-$160 (depends one which on you get)
razer deathadder $50-$160 (depends on which one you get)
ty
list of different price range, shapes and weights for you to choose from
added in the viper v2 pro into the list as well since i already had the logitech g pro x superlight in there
none of those has steelseries smh
wonder why
ik they can be outdated but i like them
prime series is pretty decent
$54.99 on steelseries site rn for prime wireless
but the mini would be better tho since it has usb c
pulsar x2 mini is tempting
@snow briar sorry for late night ping, but more update so far with the hd6xx. headbad part/cushion for the top of my head i cant even tell its there. pretty comfy. i havent exercised the headphones to loosen the headphones because of the clamping force, theyve just been getting loose as is just from me wearing them, not squeezing my head as much. so far ive worn them for about 8 hours straight, ears dont feel hot or anything
just some slight ear fatigue which is to happen for me because of my ear sizes. left ear doesnt like over earheaphones and my right ear doesnt like on ear headphones
Do i sell my 6xx
Didn't you just get it???
Ghosty just got new closed back headphones iirc
No 6xx i had for a few years now, im replacing with 109 pro
ghosty doesnt want to match with me now that i have them 😔
xD
can someone help me register my headphones
neverminds
I was gunna look into RMAing my headphones but ive seem to have thrown the box away sad
The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless are better wireless gaming headphones than the HyperX Cloud 2/Cloud II Wireless. While both headphones are comfortable and well-built, [nolink:Cloud Alpha] have a more neutral default sound profile that you can customize to your liking using their companion app's graphic EQ or presets, their passive soundstage fee...
ah nice they both have audio while charging

thats so many days
Clouds are nice for the price, I have the wired myself
yea i like the wire too until i kept stepping on it and ripping out out of my pc SPEAKING of that the cable hold up thing broke sooooooo
Everyone has their preferences, I prefer the latency of wired and convenience of no battery
Plus I can use the DAC for other things or when the headset dies
But if you're the type that's bad with wires by all means go wireless
even now i be ripping my wire out of my pc bc i walked to far away with my headphones on haha
my jbl ones broke frame shifted inside the headset none of the buttons work and for a while i was using software to control the talk through and chat to game volume but one day it just stopped connecting idk why im restarted everything and stuff just wont connect
Them Clouds are small imo
that and I have low ears, but even my friends just got stingers
I need a dumb opinion but a valid one for my sake:
Lamzu Atlantis or Roccat Burst Pro Air?
One is high performance and the other's wired variant fits like a glove
for me personally id go with a lamzu atlantis but if the roccat is more to your liking then go with that. also im not sure if its with all models or just a few, but there are some problems with the lamzu because of how its built such as the back support beam kinda messes with the back mouse skate where its bulging a bit
and i think theres a few other minor problems but up to you. lighter mouse with new sensor and better switches or older sensor and heavier mouse but fits your hand how you like
I love the colorway on the Leopold FC980C White Dye Sub PBT Mechanical Keyboard (AECX31) https://a.co/d/bGYzOWx but I can't find a matching mouse. Can someone help me out?
A matching retro case that has good airflow would be nice as well
I don't want a bad or old mouse, just one that matches the vintage aesthetic
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXV001A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_YoB9BbJ02MET6 best I could find in terms of modern
It’s definitely more of a bronze though sadly
Looks great considering it's a modern one
Worth?
Pretty sure g pro wireless hits that price often imo yes
I currently have a model O wireless what’s a better mouse that’s a little bit bigger and maybe a little more ergonomic
I’d prefer wireless but not required
Also does this look good for $220 usd?
if you like league then ye its fine. that one goes at $50 quite a bit as pato said. if youre just looking for a good wireless mouse than razer viper ultimate would be a better deal as it seems to be sitting around the $50~$60 range often
coating isn't quite good imo, so if you want grip tape it also covers up the LOL logo
new keebs crazy
what are some nice keycaps
What height are you looking for anyway?
tbh idk how cap heights work. the keyboard has cherry switches idk if that means anything
no how tall do you want your keycaps? if you don't care then look for cherry mx keycaps
doesn't really matter. im looking at a diagram rn i guess cherry or sa caps are fine at least i think that's what they are called. know any sites i should look around or should I just look at aliexpress or something
nah not really, i literally bought mine from amazon
look around anywhere, ali express, epomaker, kbdfans etc.
most keyboards use either Cherry or OEM
but honestly, most profiles are relatively easy to get used to
it's down to preference and how much money you throw at it in the end
for example MT3 can be an awesome profile if you like something more around your fingers, but also starts around 100 usd
ye basically im picking up a leopold from my friend since he is upgrading but I was thinking of switching the keycaps to something a little more fancy
makes sense
main places to look at are keyboard vendors (kbdfans, novelkeys, kprepublic, eoomaker and so on), manufacturers (Akko, Drop, YMDK and so on), selling platforms (Amazon, Aliexpress and so on) and designers (omnitype and so on)
but often you can find one at the other
for example Epomaker resells Akko, and can be found on both Aliexpress and Amazon
this might be useful
I'll have a look ty 👍
personal experience so far is just OEM, Cherry and MT3
but still
switches fascinate me more than keycaps
leopold keycaps actually p good
Anyone know much about mouse encoders? Looking to get some Green or Red TTC mouse encoders, dont know if they are good or not. Using to replace any bad encoders I have (could clean them, but cleaning them could also damage them. Have tried couple times on cleaning Omron switches and damaged them more lol).
I've never heard of a green or red TTC encoder
ah, wait
looks like the green and red ones are either older or more budget ones
few things worth keeping in mind @left hawk
- installation height
- pulse signal
- installation type
you don't have to replace TTC with TTC, nor does it mean that any TTC encoder works
only issue is that I can't find the pulse signal of the red/green core on TTCs site
only of either silver/gold or completely different styles

any reccomandations on a tall gaming office chair
@white flame these headphones kinda weird theres like someone that talks to you says disconnected and i dont think its like an AI voice it sounds like someone talking into a mic HAHA but they also say battery life and other stuff
That's normal
Well my old headset had none of that
Need help connecting Spectre monitor to Cobratype Titanoboa gaming computer
What type of cables do I need to stop getting no signal on monitor?
and this one does
some do some dont
No it just had beeps for low battery
my guy
every set of headphones are differet
hell the two pairs of moonsparks i have are different
one has a human voice one has an ai voice
out of the 4 or 5 bluetooth headphones I've had, 3 of them had ai voices 2 had human voices
the one i currently have just beeps
Any help is appreciated
Hdmi or display port will likely work
Unless you're using a 15 year old monitor or gpu
The monitor likely came with cables
The monitor is brand new
Then there should be cables in the box
One is a power cable
That plugs into the wall and the monitor
Then either hdmi or display port from gpu to monitor
Right I have the power cord and the hdmi and when I plug it in it says no signal
Check connections
Is the pc on?
okay
Yes
Oh
On the side or bottom of the monitor there should be buttons
One of them will change what the monitor is using as it's input
Should be symbols on or in front of the buttons
Okay let me check that out thanks
you have the display cable plugged into the gpu and not the motherboard right?
Yes the port on the back of the machine
bruh lol i opened my headphones turned them on and it said it was 50% then i ran to walmart and now they are at 70% magically charged lol
hmmmm nice
^^
no
what are some good not too expensive wireless headsets
the Xbox one seems fine to me tbh, it’s not too expensive and wireless
Budget is like $120 or less
I need an opiniion, I just got myself some low profile keycaps and they feel super strange to type on. I keep movign too fast for my brain to register a click
which keycap profile is the best for typing? aside from OEM, i have em and don't really like em
its all preference but i only use dcs and cherry
there are a few new profiles that arent too far off cherry but i didnt bother looking into it
I'm no audiophile but, I myself would suggest you to get something like barracuda x 2022 and throw autoeq onto it. Don't use synapse tho, just use steelseries gg with sonar. It works well with everything
i know some of you are screaming about me reccing razer, but this budget doesn't allow much anyway
really? a budget of $120 isn't enough?
wow ok. I've been looking at my headphones wrong
to audiophiles anyway lol
most of the people deep into audio hobby prefers flat, natural sound tuning with very wide soundstage (aka open backs or bad)
also I would spend extra just because of the quality you get for going higher, but not as crazy as 1k
or not, cause most stuff lasts long enough anyway
im just waiting till I can justify a 300$ Sony headphone
if you're gaming the sony stuff are what you shouldn't get
bluetooth latency big ew
it's made for listening to music and watching vids on a phone or tablet
its features are literally required to be used with the app only
i mean I already own a pair of gaming 2.4ghz headsets
I just want sony for plug-and-play and normal use
or literally the best wireless/anc/optional wired headset under 300
wth is audioeq
it's this
oh xbox
for xbox well, you'll have to be stuck with stock sound for anything else other than the xbox wireless one
I don’t care lol
i would just get the xbox wireless because well, it works flawlessly with it
perfectly made for the xbox
I’ve heard nothing but good about the Xbox wireless, and it’s the cheapest wireless headset I could find
im sick of wires + my current one is duct taped together atp so I need a new one LMAO
can just easily throw on autoeq if you do plug it into phone
what is it, just an equalizer?
nah
it's a list of eq settings for all sorts of eq apps
it follows the harman curve
which is usually preferred by the ears of many
it's not objectively good in terms of "neutral" sound, but subjectively good for many
no idea what this is
so based of the name also it automatically sets it to these preferences?
and it has different presets for different things, you’re saying
nope
you have to know what type of equalizer you use and apply the values of the preset accordingly
I use the RIG 800LX. It's MSRP is about $30 over you budget, but if you shop around you may find it for less (I did). I wear a 7 3/4 hat and have problems finding headsets that don't pinch my head. People I game with say the mic sounds ok, but it is omni directional. The game audio and chat sound good on my end. The battery life is good also. There is a switch on the puck to use it on a Windows pc also.
Trying to find a Bluetooth controller that works with the steam deck that's actually Bluetooth, been one heck of a chore. The combo units that are both RF and Bluetooth, won't work right over here. Something the airport is transmitting, the RF picks up and at first I thought it was being ignored, until you make a right direction press, and suddenly a whole lot of data gets flooded to the Steam Deck, it's annoying.
Bluetooth works on the same frequency as 2.4GHz wireless so it's quite possible to get a lot of interference on that band
bluetooth connection to PC is awful, trust me on that
in my own home, it disconnects about 3 times every 10 minutes
also did you say airport? I would think that using bluetooth at the airport is a bad idea...
My assumption was home was near enough to the airport to pick up the rather strong signals they use
Im near one of the largest data hubs in CA. Just an example of how bad it can get, due to the airport, the few neighbors with automatic garage door openers, don't use remotes, but old fashioned type key cards, or numeric keypads. I'd say it was about 16 years ago when they all did this change, as something obviously was installed one day, and neighbors including myself, would freak out at waking up to our garage door openers kicking in, and these were the old very noisy 80s and 90s version. Happened all hours of day, and night. Waking up 3 am to your garage door opening, where you keep your important tools and equipment, can get quite stressful, especially when one has had past break-ins.
Thinking back on it. I can't recall anyone ever taking advantage of it to break in. The one who was breaking in and long caught, was pushing a window AC flap aside to reach in and unlock the door. That ended the night my daughter's cat tore into the arm entering the window 😂.
Long and short, wired might be a necessity. You can probably try an Xbox dongle, but idk
I'll do some more searching, someone has to have made something to void out the buffer after a year.
Too bad there's no controllers that operate at a higher frequency like the 6ghz band
that would be cool
Hi, last time I'm going to ask about headphones (this time it's not for me). Looking for a pair of Bluetooth, noise canceling headphones. Going to mostly be used for music, theyre for someone with autism and sensory issues, so hopefully good noise canceling. Under $50 would be nice but I can go higher to around $100
Also good "cushions" or whatever the pars on them are called, if possible
I can always change them myself

Anyone know of any white speakers that would be good to put on my desk?
Does anyone have a good wireless upgrade to go to from the g400/mx518?
Everything I've searched for has come up with trade offs
where should i get a 47” desk?
I'm noticing an issue with some games on the steam deck, with Xbox and keyboard controllers, and curious if there is a work around. When a controller or keyboard goes to sleep, it falls off the available peripherals, until you press something to wake them up. The steam deck is actually pretty good at seeing this, and puts that item back into Immediate use. On the other hand, a good amount of programs that are still running, no longer see the item that went to sleep, despite the Deck itself showing it's there. Anyone find a work around, other than closing and reloading the program back up so it sees the item again?
Any workaround would be application specific
Does anyone here have experience with the Keikk 2200Pro graphic tablet? I am thinking about getting it to replace my XP-Pen Artist Pro 15.6in that got stolen.
