the aorus pro doesn't have any usb headers afaik

and the x570 chipset is only generally useful if you have multiple gen 4 drives/cards and need lots of sata ports, those are the only differences that come up to me

reair i/o might also be different but it's pretty easy to upgrade and get a usb card or sum

Hello y'all, just looking for some advice.
I'm planning on upgrading my Ryzen 7 1700 to a Ryzen 7 3700x, seems like it's got real good value for the money.
Just looking for something to lighten my streaming load when playing a more intensive game. It would also be beneficial when playing PCSX2 (PS2 emu). Any tips/suggestions?
Will I be better off getting a third party cooler or will it matter?
I also run a 1050Ti, so should I upgrade that soon to? (I assume yeah but lol)

So my pc turned off while playing a game and won't turn back on. When looking inside the system while flipping the power supply switch, the heatsink for what I think my wifi card has a bright white flash and a squealing noise. I'm pretty sure that means the board is dead.

@azure pulsar USB spec is completely cross compatible. You could plug a 3.2 device into a 1.1 slot. C and Thunderbolt adapters work too.

the Gskill trident Z in general has a very good reputation in the market and I tried one myself and it worked great, but I'm just super vonfused from their Neo series because it was made for AMD systems for maximum performance but they didn't mention anything about Intel.

I have Ryzen 9 3900x paired with my RTX 3080 and found some CPU bottleneck while playing COD Warzone I'm getting maximum 140-150 frames so decided to upgrade my Processor along with the RAM as I have 3000mhz CL15 its a very good ram but when you invest on a processor like this you need high mhz and cas latency as well

I have the 10850k and it is a little toasty, get a good cooler. As for a motherboard, I am using the Gigabyte Vision G, the VRMs aren't too hot and it is a pretty good board all around. Nothing is on the board that you don't need. (ie: Gimmicky add-ons that make little to no difference)

Maybe I'm the idiot here but I decided to upograde mty ram a bit ago. So I just got a 4x8 kit of the same ram I already had. Exact same in every way except different color heat spreader. I put in the new ram (after taking out the old ones) and I get BSOD and a corrupted windows. Even after I out back in the old ram these issues still persisted. After 2 hours of trouble shooting I get my issue fixed and use my old ram instead. Now ask me how I put 1 stick of this ram in a new pc build and it works perfectly like they were meant for eachother, when putting 1 stick in my main build BSOD my pc?

ok i know very little about computers and I'm using pcpp and i was looking at josh dubs setup for reference and i was looking at his cpu the Intel i9 9900k @ 4.9Ghz i wanted to know how much his specs would cost roughly because I'm going to do vr gaming and wanted to know if i could build something with his specs that isn't really expensive i see the like 4 cpus they are all in the 400$ us range and then there is the Intel Core i9-9900KS at roughly 2000 thousand us dollars why does cost so much? and i see almost no difference minus its core clock being 4 ghz so why is it so much?

You can still overclock a B550 perfectly fine with a good quality board. The X570 mainly has advantages in native PCIe 4 and SLI.
If you do get a X570 though, avoid the MSI low and mid range boards, the VRM will overheat and throttle your boost.

@limber dragon Well, only thing that left to do in my build is the cpu. Im running 1080 Ti with 16gigs of 3200mhz ram. Unfortunately my r7 1700 is bottlenecking my gpu pretty darn hard, even though its overclocked to 3.7. So i want to finally finish my build with a reasonable cpu. I heard that my board is not the best in its class, so im just asking if it will be good for the 5600x. Also i would want to do slight oc on it.

@signal fog Definitely worth upgrading, the difference between Ryzen generations has been tremendous. Even upgrading to a 3600 would be way better, and if you can score a 5600X even better, assuming your motherboard can support it.

yea, ive looked into the modem online and it says it does. I see on my phone and xbox and such it does over 100mbs as my plan is. I have seen it hit 300s at one point so i know it does it. i look at the ethernet status where it shows connection and activity

Well, I wouldn't go P2, but it also depends on if audio editing can take use of higher speeds offered by a NVMe drive, and the price of a 860evo

I'd assume they can get away with a fairly weak GPU like a 3060 (Depending on time of purchasing), which can definitely get away with 650w or maybe 550w
