It's because the 3070+ is so power intensive

that you need just empty space with heat pipes

to blow as much air through as possible to cool it

that's how much power these things pull

Only a bios change, but I don't recommend it. and that 2nd setting is probably better. Need to run TimeSpy at each setting to really see what sort of change it might be giving.

ok so i got a gtx 770 founders edition about 4-5 months ago on ebay. Card seems ok despite its age. fast forward to about 1 1/2 weeks ago, now in windows some slight graphics glitches occur and games will crash with or without an error and if it does have an error its always something to do with device hung and/or device removed and in macOS randomly the screen just starts spazzing and constant graphics glitches everywhere for a couple minutes until it settles down for a while
